Perfect place to use as a home base for our weekend trip! Reagan at the front desk was most helpful!!

I was without hot water for the first two days of my stay. That was very unpleasant.

Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We had breakfast each morning in the hotel and were able to choose either the breakfast buffet (both hot and cold options) or ordering from the menu. I tried both, and both were delicious. There is a workout room with three treadmills, two ellipticals, a bike, free weights, exercise balls and a workout machine. There is an outdoor pool, and parking is on the premises. We love the location, as we can walk to downtown Asheville in five minutes to eat, shop and enjoy the nightlife. The room needs a make-up mirror and more towel racks.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean. The bed was not that comfortable and the bed linens could use an upgrade.

Ashville Hilton has the friendliest hotel staff, from all departments. It was so refreshing to see smiling faces and cheerful voices. Great downtown location very close to a lot of great eateries. Super safe neighbourhood. Pool was closed, we came from -20 Canadian weather and looked forward to the pool.

Most of the staff were very pleasant; had a slight problem with the shuttle where there was clearly miscommunication as the shuttle did not show for pick up on Saturday night, meaning I had to walk back to the hotel. The shuttle driver I had on Friday was wonderful, showing me the shortest route to my venue for the weekend (not the route she had to drive), which was extremely useful on Saturday night in getting back to the hotel.

The ergonomics of the room were awkward. If you open the bathroom door you could not walk past in the hall. The fridge opened the opposite of the cabinet toward the wall. No freezer. The bathroom was tiny and hard to maneuver.

The waitress was super nice The breakfast was just eatable and cost was high. I was on the 5th floor. I was gone from 7am until 3pm working. When I got back room service had not come. They didn’t make it to that floor until 3:30. There were two small trash cans in the room. Only one had a bag. Also I was on the side gassing the road and I heard sirens all night. Also. There is no smoking area. I was told it was all the way around the front of the building. There was no but bucket. So I walked back and forth in the rain. There was nowhere to sit. On the last morning I saw the but bucket beside the pool door. If that’s the smoking area. Not only is there to where to sit. But it’s not even covered and out of the weather

It is a very nice hotel. The only issue I will note is the showers. The water pressure and hot water were extremely hit or miss. The hotel was clean though and the staff was nice. Location is amazing to downtown and restaurants and shops. Overall I would most likely stay there again.

The room was very clean and staff were wonderful. The Christmas decorations were beautiful and especially fun at the Rooftop Bar. Drinks and Food were delicious!

Location and the breakfast options. Their breakfast menu went beyond the offered buffet of cold cereals, toast, rolls and muffins, waffles, berry pancakes, fruits and yogurts, eggs sausage and bacon. The location worked very well for walking around Asheville. The $15/day parking pass, less than several other nearby hotels, can be extended past noon at no additional charge for enjoying the day in Asheville. The room seemed worn, but clean. Our room was arranged with a large empty space, the size where a small table and chairs should have been. While we didn't need it, the room seemed incomplete. The carpet was threadbare where it met the tiled floor. The breakfast pricing was three dollars more per person than listed in the Booking reservation information. The parking elevator has been broken for a while, per the staff, so if no spaces are left on the top level, you will be carrying suitcases up the parking steucture stairs to enter the hotel.

My room wasn't ready at check-in. It was ready hours later. The front desk tried to overcharge me for my room. It was a hassle. It was a lot of money for what the rooms were. I will never stay at a Hilton again Disappointed.

Conveniently located to downtown, clean Property! The property is in the Hospital district so you will hear ambulances, I was told that I had an option of being A- directly under the rooftop bar so I would hear music, or B - I can get the room facing the road and more than likely I will hear emergency vehicles/ ambulances… Not exactly the most inviting. Every item ordered from the kitchen was not good. Truly, the food needs help, & rooftop bar barely we could barely get service. Beautiful view from rooftop. But. Had to wave someone down each time to place an order- felt inconvenienced each time. Regretting what I ordered from rooftop too, (salmon and undercooked veggies) cold flavorless… just not good. Following morning I order avocado toast, it wasn’t good either - a weird puree of avocado? Step the food game up!

Do not pay with cash at The Pillar Bar on the roof top. They will ask for your room number, and then when you pay cash to zero out your tab, they still charge your room.

This hotel is 10/10. Our check in was smooth (we found out later it was actually the GM who checked us in), the hotel common areas and room are very clean (and I’m picky about cleanliness), we had a spacious corner room, and the bed was very comfortable. The complimentary champagne at check in was a nice touch. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the hotel left chocolate covered strawberries in our fridge! The on site hotel had a fun and delicious array of tiki-themed drinks and food; so good, in fact, that we chose to dine there for dinner instead of one of Asheville’s Miriam of other hotels. The hotel also offered complimentary transportation, provided by a very sweet and personable driver.

Very nice hotel, except we were on the roadside and the fire department and police did runs with sirens every hour and a half to two hours. Very annoying in the middle of the night!

DO NOT accept room in the middle of the 5th floor on a night they have music. Whoever thought a loud rooftop bar directly above hotel rooms was a good idea needs their head checked. If you're out on the town and not back until 11pm, then you'd never know. Unfortunately we had an event we needed to be at at 6am and tried to be in bed at 9pm. It sounded like we were in a nightclub until 10:30pm. It wasn't possible to turn the TV up loud enough to drown it out. Every other aspect of the property was great. If we were in another room, this would probably be a 10/10 review.

Located in a great area close to downtown Asheville. The room was clean. The shuttle was an added service-huge thanks to the friendly driver, Lauren! All employees were informative and friendly. The maintenance worker even shared treats with our dog. Highly suggest staying here. Help Asheville out!

Not sure if I can blame the hotel, but I forgot my kindle reader on the bed. The staff stated they have not found it; odd, as it's not a small device. Lesson learned. Double check the room, then recheck it, and then check again before you leave.

Great stay! Close to the Biltmore, which was the main focus of our trip. We enjoyed breakfast and Alissa was wonderful! A couple things that weren’t ideal: our room overlooked the street so it was a little loud and our door wouldn’t latch properly unless it was slammed closed. Overall a great place to stay and would recommend!

When I checked in the room they gave me had a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door so I dragged all my stuff down to the front desk again — and I was four weeks post-op with a knee replacement — after a lot of exasperated frowning and back and forth I got another room. I appreciate that the hurricane really upended things in Asheville but I was trying to give business to the community again. Just wish things had gone more smoothly.

Very nice hotel. Very clean and all staff were very pleasant and helpful. Easy parking not free. Within walking distance to good restaurants. There is a rooftop restaurant. The food was ok..they were out of a few dishes. Breakfast buffet was nice and on weekend eggs made to order. Very good. Buffet not free. No laundry room. Our room was very clean and comfortable.

Room comfortable and clean outdoor seating area with fire pit was perfect. My only complaint was the breakfast buffet all the food was cold including the coffee. Gave it a try twice incase 1st time was a fluke! Cold on both occasions had to ask them to microwave… I was not the only one asking

We just did a quick overnight at this property for a show at the Cherokee Center. The front desk staff was delightful! We brought our pup and they gave her a welcome bag at check-in with some treats, a toy, waste bags and tips and tricks on where we could take her around town. They also offered their convenient shuttle to run us around town if needed. But it was a nice night so we were able to easily walk to dinner and the show. Grabbed a pre-dinner glass of wine at their rooftop bar/restaurant which was great too! Great location and great staff. Would definitely stay again!

Only dislike was the shower felt small and the shower head sprayed a bit all over the place so when i got out of the shower the floor was a bit damp and needed wiping in order to not slip.

Hotel is in perfect walkable location to many restaurants, shops etc . And let’s be honest, a roof top bar / restaurant with a beautiful view is the cherry on top of your chill !

The bathroom has a horrible smell and required attention. The pool was dirty.

Great breakfast, location, service, and nice modern decor. They even pampered our pooch with a welcome bag. Fabulous experience!

Great all around experience. Easy, walkable access to downtown shops and restaurants but also a free shuttle when needed. Nice lobby and staff.

After spending a week at the beach on the east coast we traveled 9 hrs to Asheville, we arrived 2 hrs early, and hoped we would be able to check in early. Emily greeted us at the front desk she was very cheerful and knowledgeable. We were able to check into our rooms which was a blessing after such a long ride. She was very helpful with recommendations of restaurants and a map of the area. The courtesy van was a plus since we encountered a thunderstorm on our way out to dinner.

Just minutes from Downtown Asheville, great for a brisk walk into town for sightseeing or a meal.

Great Hotel, Amazing Roof Top Bar & Restaurant!

First time we’ve stayed at this Hilton in downtown Asheville. Usually we stay at the Marriott. We were here only one night. The room was lovely and clean. It looked like it only recently been refreshed. The staff was very nice. We will definitely stay here again.

A nice place just a short walk from downtown. They offer shuttle rides although we didn't need it. The rooftop bar has beautiful sunset views.

Great stay! Asheville is not a big city so it is easy to get around. Felt safe in the area and we were just a 20 minute walk to Doubletree and Embassy rooftop bars. A 15 min walk from Biltmore Ave.

Had a great time and the staff was so helpful! Loved being walking distance to shops and dining but enough out of the way that it was quiet at night.

Perfect location for our family visit as they live just a couple of blocks away. Room was very comfy and clean. Food and service was excellent. Front desk was very helpful when we had questions.

We really enjoyed our time at the Hilton Garden Inn Asheville. The hotel is within walking distance of the downtown Asheville area plus they provide a shuttle to and from the area. The gentleman that ran the shuttle was very helpful and personable. The hotel front desk was well managed and everyone was extremely. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was fine except for the cable service as compared to a year ago. This time, clicking though the channels hit almost 100% commercials, and among the shows available I could find almost nothing I cared to watch. A waste of time - finally I just turned it off and looked at my phone. I have to wonder if the cable service pays Hilton to use it for the advertising value! If you expect to get some entertainment out of the TV, better find out if Hilton allows streaming devices on their WiFi.

Our stay was short but we felt very comfortable right away. We would certainly go and stay there again. Kind staff and spotless. Also breakfast was very good.

This hotel is fantastic! Room size was nice and large for standard king, bathroom was nice, service is great - free shuttle downtown was handy. The rooftop bar has really cool bartenders and awesome craft cocktails and local beers, live music. The location is right at the beginning of downtown. The only thing I can say I didn’t love was the light on the microwave was super bright and all Hilton hotels have the same awful pillows. But otherwise, the bed was very comfortable.

The parking deck attached to the hotel made parking in downtown very convenient. The hotel itself is close in proximity to a ton of restaurants and bars. All together a great place to stay. Next time I come back to Asheville I’d stay here again.

We had a wonderful time here. The front desk staff was welcoming and even gave us free drink passes when I mentioned we were there to celebrate my husbands birthday. It was walking distance to the restaurant and shopping. We really enjoyed the rooftop bar and line music. The room was very clean and comfortable and parking on site was included.

I called restaurant, no answer, full voicemail Called front desk for room service, no room service, you have to get food yourself at restaurant. Morning breakfast had no buffet, no one else in the restaurant. I had asked front desk to provide caffeine free tea bags since my room had none. They didn’t provide them. The restaurant made me a nice tea while I waited. I had gotten up at 3 am and drove hours through NC State of Emergency rain, flooding, wind weather. I had to sit in restaurant and not rest. Online it showed name of hotel as Hilton Downtown, not a Garden Inn. Services seemed very scaled back. Hotel texted with how things were going and I asked for tea in my room. They didn't bring me any, but texted "ok". I can't use Hilton Honors with booking through Expedia.

The staff here are amazing. They are so friendly and I love how they reach out to make sure everything is ok. The rooms are extremely comfortable. The bottles of water everyday are a nice touch. The property is walkable to all of downtown and if you don’t want to walk there is a free shuttle all day into late night.

Hotel was clean. Front desk and other staff were friendly and helpful. Shuttle service was a nice perk. Hotel is in convenient location to downtown. Overall, satisfied with the hotel. I was here in December, so tourism was at low point.
