The gym was on the small side and the bed was squeaky, BUT Claudia at the front desk is super friendly and helpful, breakfast was as expected, great location and clean! Perfect for what we needed! Thank you!

I did not get her name but the young woman at the front desk was exceptional! I had stayed the weekend before and the bed was very uncomfortable. When I returned the following week she made sure I was very comfortable. Very nice experience.

The front desk was absolutely wonderful. They were very kind and went above and beyond. Everything else was good too. The rooms were nice and clean and it was quiet. The location is great! I also loved that Ingles and Starbucks are right beside the hotel and you can walk there very easily. I would absolutely stay here again.

Can't say enough about the lady at the front desk. She was very polite and helpful whenever we needed anything, from the check-in to the final check-out. Not many hotels have employees like that.

There is very little parking and what few spaces provided are tight! Our refrigerator did not work, and the beds were a tad uncomfortable (low to the floor).

Room was clean, which is a very important factor for my wife. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of options. Conveniently located. Our only negative point was the AC was noisy as it came on and off through the night. waking us up multiple times. If we stayed additional nights, we would have left the AC set to constant fan and that would have probably fixed the issue. This also could have been just the room we were in, so I hesitate to consider this an actual complaint. :-)

The property is in a very convenient location with food and a grocery store with walking distance. The location is also great if visiting the Biltmore. The parking is a tight squeeze.

I thought you could tell that the property was vintage. It was still clean and the breakfast was fresh and the parking was plentiful.

We stayed at this location for a week. Miss Claudia at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. Always a wonderful smile, cheery demeanor, a sweetheart whom made you truly feel welcomed. The room was spacious with a fabulous view of the mountains. Breakfast had great options and you are next door to a grocery store. Only downside is if you have a full size truck or SUV, you can park when full but you will need manuevering and backup skills.

The phone system here stinks! Obviously needs updating. Could not get thru to my relative's room. She had to come down to front desk to answer my call!

It was a convenient place to stay. The location was near all the things we wanted to see and do., The staff was very nice and friendly. The room was fairly clean. The bed was pretty comfy. The small refrigerator smelled bad inside. The breakfast was ok. It could have been a little better but it served what we needed.

Clean room which was an upgrade from a regular king size bed room. There was an off smell to the room that made me feel uncomfortable but I used fabric spray freshener to alleviate that a bit. It wasn’t a bad or unclean smell by any means, but it was slightly off-putting. Otherwise, the location and hospitality were excellent.

This was a much better stay. Just one room away from my last stay but neighbors were not as noisy. I could hear their TV and I am sure they could hear mine, just not as loud. AC unit was very quite. Breakfast was very nice and staff was again excellent. Bed was great also. Experience seems to rest on neighbors since the walls are still "paper thin".

I always stay here when traveling through the area. I like that the hotel is no frills but always clean and quiet. The small parking lot feels very safe and the breakfasts are basic but hot. Being next to the Ingles grocery store is a plus, especially when you need to fill up your car to be on the road in the morning.

Husband and kids loved breakfast. Staff was sparse and you don’t get ANY housekeeping which was a little tricky, unless requested (we stayed 4 days and that’s a long time without fresh towels, sheets, or trash emptying) which was tricky when staff was rarely at the front desk. We would definitely stay again, great option for the area!

Our stay was pleasant, hotel is clean, room was a little outdated, breakfast was basic but okay for a one night stay, quiet location but close to downtown, Blue Ridge Pkwy and other sights. Parking is small although we found a spot without an issue. Overall, I recommend it for a quick stay.

Most of the staff was great but when checking out this morning I mentioned they should have someone check the refrigerator as it wasn’t working properly and she argued with me. Breakfast options were decent and the hotel was clean. Close to downtown Asheville which was the appeal to stay here. Main downside was we were on the second floor and we could hear the people above us walking around all night.

It was midnight when we checked in. Our bathroom door was locked so we had to go get someone to unlock it. The room was good.

What an amazing service. From the moment we got there. We got upgraded to a suite which was so sweet of them to do. The breakfast was one the best I’ve had in hotels. I truly loved this hotel and if I’m ever in Asheville again i definitely will stay here. Also the outlets are in walking distance as well as many restaurants.

This hotel was a last minute “find” on my trip and it was wonderful! It was very clean with comfortable beds -and linens. The towels were oversized and fluffy. And the breakfast was excellent with loads of options. It was located next to a grocery store, had lots of restaurants nearby and the Tanger Outlets. W definitely recommend it and will stay here again when I’m in the area. Definitely a 5-Star rating from me!

The dryer in facility was not drying our clothes. The breakfast was the samething everyday AND the floor in our room was dirty.

It was just....fine. The room was sparsely decorated and furnished. Check in was a little delayed due to a technical issue. Everything was at least clean. Would I go back, maybe, but I've experienced better in the same price range. Breakfast staff were very pleasant.

Front desk staff is awesome, especially Claudia. My room was clean and the facility is well maintained. Beds are super comfy. Parking is an issue here if you arrive late evening. Spaces are limited and U-turns are a challenge in the parking lot. The building fire alarm went off on two of the six days I was there. The first time it continued until the fire department came to shut it off. I think I'll stay elsewhere next time I'm in town.

They did not have a big enough parking lot for anyone pulling a trailer. The nice i was in the parking lot I couldn’t turn around. What a terrible design. Breakfast was pretty good though.

The shower was broken and we didn’t know it until early the morning we checked out when we went to take a shower. So there was no tie to report it and have it fixed. Parking lot was small and tight for larger SUVs. Lack of flexibility for early check-in and there was a charge to do so.

Hotel was nice and staff was great, parking tho stunk. They have EXACTLY enough parking for the rooms available and some of those spaces are next to shurbs and trees and if thats the spot you get you have to get out the other side of the vehicle. Other than the parking the hotel was very exceptional

First time staying at a Country Inn&Suites. Location was perfect for our layover on our way to Charleston area. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well stocked Bed was very comfortable. Quick drive into downtown Asheville for dinner and sightseeing Would definitely stay again if I found myself in the area

EXCELLENT! We stayed nearby last two visits but decided on the Country Inn this time in Asheville due to reviews and the value compared to the Hampton Inn. Hotel lives up to the high reviews - excellent/friendly staff and breakfast on par with any hotels in the area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Also, my room’s shower head was a at like 5’ - I’m 6’. Felt weird to bend over to wash my hair . I picked this hotel because it had a 9.2 rating on the site . Definitely not at that level - but not the worse either .

The suite we were provided was excellent! Claudia, at the first desk, was warm, friendly and pleasant. Her kind personality made our stay even more enjoyable. Odain, also at the front desk, was also friendly.

The hotel was great. However, Ashville has still not recovered from the hurricane and due to lots of road work the traffic was horrendous. We went for pleasure/vaca and it was so bad that we were in sight of the hotel for 45 minutes before we got through the 2 lights to get to it. We planned on going downtown Ashville but we're able to muster the courage to fight 2 hrs of traffic to cover the 10 miles to get there. Ashville is not ready for tourists yet!

Front staff was very nice and friendly. The room was also cleaned very well. Just had roaches. The front did take some off our bill.I personally can’t stay again. I thank them for being friendly.

Rooms nice. Shower only had luke warm water. Fairly quite. Stayed on Saturday night. Parking was very very tight. Breakfast ends at 930 even on a sunday which is a bummer for sure. Bed comfoer was the best feature.

one suggestion: please change the brand of coffee used, both in the individual pods and in the therma-pot in the breakfast room. it tastes terrible.

Everything qas convenient

Very nice place the lady that always checks me in is very sweet absolutely love staying here.

I was very upset that after we unpacked and hung up all our clothes and the dresser the tv did not work. They did not want to compensate us for the trouble of packing all our belongings which was 2 suitcases and garments bags. Alll they did was give us water and bring the dolly up so we can transfer to another room not good customer service. I ask for a discount because of all the inconvenience

This was a great hotel for the price. It is older, but updated and the staff was nice.

The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The room was just off a bit. The door to the bathroom rubbed at the bottom making it difficult to close. The door to the bedroom would not close at all. The tv in the bedroom was crooked. Not a bad place to stay but I will try simewh

The staff was nice. We got to our room, it was cozy, pretty, and pleasant. Gotta try this place out.

Very clean and comfortable room. Housekeeping was on request the day prior. The room was surprisingly quiet given the location. The lobby area was not inviting. Parking lot was a bit tight. Breakfast was adequate and exactly the same every day. Given the cost it’s a great value.

Only thing we didn't like staff hard to understand. Language barrier. Staff still very friendly. Place clean. Complamentery breakfast was awsome. Many good options. Would recommend this location to friends.

Humidity and slight odor

The only downside (and the reason for the four-star rating) was that I found a few hairs on the bathroom counter that clearly weren’t mine. It wasn’t a major issue, but definitely something that could be improved. Overall, a solid stay and I’d consider booking again for a short trip.

The staff was very informative and useful. The Hotel was one of the cleanest I have ever seen. And their complementary breakfast was extremely good.

When we come to Asheville we usually stay here. The front desk staff weren't friendly the last 2 times we've stayed here.

I've stayed here several times. The staff are always friendly and rhe rooms are clean. There is a grocery store store right next door within walking distance abd a mall across the street. There are plenty of places to eat.

We had a wonderful stay and everyone we met on staff was so unbelievably helpful and kind to us during our stay! We will definitely be back!

Good for quick overnight stay, walls are a bit thin. Breakfast was great. Besides breakfast no other food on site, but other restaurants kind of close. Clean rooms. Quick in and out to interstate.

Mini fridge was adequate but froze our drinks. Pillows were horrible as always. You would think these hotels would invest in some decent pillows or rotate their stock frequently. Breakfast consist of waffles, egg patties, sausage, cereal, fruit, yogurt, milk, juice or coffee. The water must have a softener or something in it because you were left with a filmy feeling after washing. Towels were soft and clean. Good place to stay and I would stay there again.

The parking lot is small. If you come in after 9:00, you might not find a parking space!

Stay was good, room clean and neat. Only complaint is we stayed 4 days and breakfast was the same every day. Not a deal breaker.

After my very poor experience dealing with the Biltmore inn personnel, I was pleasantly pleased when I called the country inn & spoke with Claudia. She was extremely friendly & helpful with my reservation. The room was spacious & clean at an affordable price.

Great place for quick getaway.

So we stayed the night only to be told the next morning that we had to request housekeeping at least 24 hours in advance. We shared what was told to us by the previous clerk but this new person was unmoved. We asked for the manager and she proceeded to tell us she was the only manager and there was no one else. She was rude & very matter of fact about the situation, We tried to make the most of our stay but were really disappointed when we tried to get ice only to find our ice bucket wasn’t changed from the previous guests! Not to mention the shower soap dispenser was empty and the bed frame was really squeaky. Needless to say, we’d never book this hotel again.

Everything about this hotel was excellent!

However, parking is very tight so don't bring a large pickup or any trailer onto the site because no place to turn around. The staff needs direction about how to handle noisy guests...we had kids next door and above that liked to bounce basketballs...staff knew, but no action taken. Housekeeping is done IF you ask for it. Otherwise you're on your own.
