Comfort Inn Asheville East-Blue Ridge Pkwy Access

This property is a long way from a true Hilton.. The walls are paper thin, you hear every thing and I do mean everything! No microwaves, or coffee pot in the room. The smells from paint to pot are all abound. Lets talk about the dogs, I love animals, but sometimes they need to stay home. They ranged from poodles to labs and yes they barked. I was at this hotel because Expedia goofed and I had to pay the price. It won't happen again. Do better Hilton. I didn't bother with there so called breakfast as it was very lacking.

Nothing ! No coffee machine in room , no microwave , refrigerator didn't work, had just a tv and a chair and a bed. Never seen any Staff members at all. Will not stay there again! Everything!

Front desk staff was very friendly, but the front automatic door wasn't working when I arrived, there were a lot of things under going renovations, dollys and tables in the hallway as well as a strong chemical smell! The pool was closed and not 1 ice bucket in the whole hotel. No soap in the room either. Disappointing!

Everything was clean and taken care of. I needed a room for a few days, and that’s what I got. I don’t have high expectations other than making sure I have basic amenities. I have a comfy bed, a TV, and bathroom. What more could you need? The few people I interacted with were friendly and helpful. I don’t need much so it was minimal communication. I really only picked this place because of the Waffle House across the street. Parking is free too. Definitely recommend this place for a quiet and clean getaway!

The pool was undergoing maintenance it seemed and the breakfast was a underwhelming to say the least and obviously the easiest possible thing they can serve to allow them to state they offer free breakfast there. The room itself was the only plus. Clean and good bed. There were painters on the first floor, the whole first floor the rooms were all open and being repainted. Check in was on the hallway at a table set up. The staff were nice but it felt so odd. Painting is normal but why charge a full hotel rate when the amenities are not even available? No gym access, no pool access (totally drained), breakfast was in a crowded room on the 2nd floor. AC was terribly loud too. It just did not feel worth the price I paid. Obviously was not expecting this experience when I booked the hotel.

The updated lobby was really cute and modern. They had complimentary water in room. The breakfast was ok. No hot food but they did have biscuits you could heat in microwave. No soap of any kind in room to wash your hands.

This hotel is in a safe area but is currently undergoing renovations. It did not impact the rooms during our stay but the pool is currently closed. The amenities are very basic but it was clean. We did not eat there for breakfast so cannot comment on that. Our biggest surprise was that there was no coffee provided in the rooms and not even a plastic cup for water. Our rating would have been higher if those items would have been available without having to go down to the breakfast area.

Property is currently under renovation and the updated room we stayed in was great! Staff was friendly and accommodating! Would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend this hotel to others. It’s right off I40 for easy access and for a food recommendation try Papa’s & Beer about 10 minutes drive down Tunnel Rd towards Asheville! Great Mexican restaurant!

we were there for 5 days; nothing to service our room until we had to ask for service on the 4th day. No clean washcloths, overflowing wastebasket, out of shampoo, etc. They were doing remodeling and started the work - loudly - before 8:00 each day.

The property is in midst of renovations that were nearly completed during our stay. They did an excellent job and the hotel is a great place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking available all over the property.

The hotel was under renovation. The 3rd floor where I stayed was completely done. Comfy beds, clean room and staff was wonderful. My ONLY complaint is the breakfast and lack of coffee available. I do know the dining room is being renovated but in the same the breakfast was not what I usually eat & no fruit available. I would definitely recommend staying here.

One poorly working crafe of coffee that frequently ran out, very weak selection of breakfast food, walked across the street to waffle house. Its being converted from a comfort inn to a hilton.

Enjoyed our stay very much and would stay again. We travelled with our dog and the staff was very accomodating. NOTE: The exterior and first floor of the building are being renovated. This did not at all affect the quality of our stay, but it is a bit messy at the moment.

Stayed on third floor which was new and nice. Felt unsafe as one door on the floor being renovated was propped open. We were not informed of any of this at the time of reservation and no discount was offered.

Very comfy but spacious room, great location near Blue Ridge. Room was clean and in good order. They were remodeling while we were there, but they tried to keep the dust and debris to a minimum.

It was clean. The indoor pool and hot tub closed "yesterday " for maintenance. I picked this hotel cause of the pool and hot tub. I get into my room and the tv doesn't work. I contacted the front desk and I am still waiting for someone from maintenance to come look at this broken tv.

Staff excellent. Wonderful location. Clean and comfortable. Room was in a great location in the motel.. Room quiet. Breakfast while tasty was the same every day and boring. Had to reboot wi-fi way too often. No guide as to what was on tv and what station.

I liked that there was a room available and that it was close to the freeway The property was not in good repair. Both the interior and exterior of the building needed paint, cleaning, etc. I felt like it was in a dirty and neglected establishment, and the room smelled. (Bad)

I had a suite, so I liked the size of the room. I also liked the location as it was only a 5-minute drive to my destination each day. This hotel is just old. The rooms have old, outdated furniture that is not very comfortable. I didn't notice at first, but the first morning I was there and saw the rays of sun hitting the bathroom floor, I saw quite a bit of dust underneath the bathroom sink/vanity. It was pretty thick and made me wonder if the rest of the room was unclean. Additionally, I wore socks around the room at night, and noticed that the bottom of the socks were dark from dirt in the carpet. The rooms are dark, painted beige and just dreary. I won't be back to this hotel unless updates are indicated. It's just not worth the cost.

Clean room, decent breakfast, relatively quiet, easy parking, freeway convenient, and the inside access to the rooms feels more secure than outdoor access. Only drawback is this place is pretty tired, in need of a major renovation BUT I’ll live with that so long as the rates remain so relatively low.

It’s a little run down. The toilet did not work. I had to change rooms. Breakfast was average but definitely welcomed. For the price I would stay again. You get what you pay for.

The staff was very friendly and helpful!! And they just loved my Beagle! The room was clean and had everything I needed! Bed was comfy too!! The only thing that needed fixing was the toilet seat , it slid when you sat down in it , but other than that it was a great experience (room 120)

The first thing walking in you notice is the smell of disinfectant. The breakfast area was disgusting and the food was subpar. There was no service. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. There was no desk chair or anywhere to sit beside the bed.

Unless there is no other choice, this is a hard pass! Breakfast until 10, unless the guy says it’s “close to 10, I’m not making more eggs”. It was 9:35am. Unless, you specifically ask them to refresh the room, which you must the day before you want it done, and they say you never asked…but you did….

Great value - everything I like and nothing I don't like. Quiet property, big room, real bathroom door (no barn door), great a/c with constant fan feature, pro front desk staff, good lighting in room, good breakfast, easy parking, quick drive to basic amenities like grocery, Waffle House, even urgent care. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good. The only problem I had was that the A/C unit blew the room darkening curtains open all night. The parking lot had huge bright lights which is a good thing, but not when it keeps you up all night. Needs to have a different room darkening shade system.

Staff was nice, room was clean. King bed was very comfortable. The pull out sofa bed has definitely seen better days. It was basically just squished springs. Had to call to get a sheet for it. Other than that, a good experience.

Nice, clean hotel. A warning though... our room description said it was adequate for 2 adult and 2 chilfren.. it's not. The beds were tiny and not Queen size... very cramped full size beds which made for tough sleeping and no room for a rollaway bed.

Sadly this property has seen its better days! The staff was lovely but NOT the property. Carpets were stained…room on the 1st floor, when I walked in the smell of mildew was so strong. I had to leave the door open and turned the air conditioner on high to circulate the air out! I had to keep the air on low and fan on high just to keep it at bay! I didn’t dare go, barefoot in that room… and carpets in the hallway were stained as well! My girlfriends and other rooms had issues with their AC. We were there for a conference at Billy Graham‘s Cove… I’m so disappointed for this was the closest property to them, but I will not be going back!

This was the first time having a motel room all to myself in my 67 years..I was a little apprehensive, however it was very quiet even with a rather full parking lot. And I felt safe.The bed was comfy( I'm a sheet snob so prefer all cotton, the bedding was a bit hot for summer with what they have) .The checkin person was fabulous and the room was cleàn and adequate, thank you!!!!

There was urine and a feces streak on our toilet seat. I had to clean it with hand sanitizer and toilet paper. Hotel smelled in the hallways but not in the room. There were two guys smoking in a van facing our room for a few hours, which was weird. Staff was very friendly. Quiet. Bed was comfy. Shower had hot water and high water pressure.

I attended a seminar at The Cove, so it was very convenient. My room had a stuffy smell to it, but otherwise it was very clean and comfortable. There is no fitness center, but the parking lot is walkable.

You get what you pay for. It felt “icky” but I guess it was clean. The included breakfast was good for what it was (waffles, cereal, muffins, eggs, sausage, potatoes, etc). Good for passing through on a tight budget, but not for extended stay.

This facility performed above my expectations. The staff was very friendly and responsive. I found nothing to complain about with respect to the property or amenities.

My experience with the TV stunk. The TV guide was not related to the actual channels on the TV. This results in the TV being unusable.

Our stay was great and we would stay again. The breakfast food tasted a little off but that is really the only complaint.

Easy on/off of highway. Quiet area. Bed was Super comfy! Slight smell in our room but sprayed some odor ban/room spray and it was fine.

Older hotel, needs a deep cleaning. Bed is rather hard, not comfortable for me. It was good for the price and location is also good. It was quiet, couldn’t hear others or outside traffic.

Beds were comfortable, but bathroom area was small.

Morning staff was good. They have a full spread breakfast. Eggs, sausage potatoes, waffles bagels, toast, 4 different juices. Good parking. The facility is old and in need of updates. All the hallways smell like marajuana 24 hours a day. The rooms are very small, but were clean. Not spotless but clean.

Overall a decent stay. Not the most updated, or close to the city. Fairly comfortable, clean room with good breakfast included.

The property is older & the room was a little musty. Kind of like it used to be a smoking room but isn't anymore. But after I was there for a little while, I didn't notice it anymore.

A good value for the cost. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The location is convenient to Asheville and Black Mountain, both good places to visit, but without the cost normally found in both.

This property is tired and needs updating. Our no smoking room smelled like smoke. We had to fill out a form and hang it on the door each morning to have our towels replaced, etc..

Came to attend a concert at The Cove and a Bible study Mon-Fri. The room was comfortable and on the ground floor which made things easy. Comfort Inn was close to I-40 so getting to and from the downtown Asheville was quick and easy. Price was very affordable and close to The Cove (5 min). Breakfast had minimal choices and no eggs or other hot foods.

This was our second stay at this Comfort Inn. Both times we've been greeted by super friendly staff and clean rooms. Breakfast was surprisingly delicious with a good number of food choices. Our only complaint is the mattress on the king bed... both times we've slept in a "dip" on each side which resulted in back aches in the morning and not a very restful nite. At lease turn them over if you can't replace???

Was a nice place to stay for a concert we went to locally.

During the night we would awake to water noise constantly draining from the fridge. Then in the AM we awoke to seeing a total of 3 cockroaches and actually captured pictures of these pests! The water under the fridge had pooled up overnight and resulted in a moldy smell in the room which made our allergies go crazy. So after all this, we went to the front desk and was told we had to contact hotels.com. I believe it was Heather that said Comfort Inn couldn't issue a refund, but she'll look into it and call me. But I never heard back from anyone. So now after contacting Hotels.com, they are now waiting on a refund request from Comfort Inn's management. What a horrible experience and response from Comfort Inn! No one has even called to apologize or anything. I do not recommend staying here.

Room was very large. Probably the biggest hotel room I’ve stayed in. The lobby was decorated so cute with flowers and bees. Not to far from downtown Asheville, which is a beautiful place to visit with amazing artwork and scenery. Staff was nice and breakfast was decent.

The hotel was surprisingly close to the road and every noisy car driving by you could hear.

Walked barefoot in the room for a few minutes and my feet were so dirty. Considering removing the old carpet

This hotel is very convenient to lots of places, was clean, and the hot breakfast was surprisingly delicious! The downfall was the king bed that felt as though you'd dropped into a hole when you got in it! VERY uncomfortable for anyone with back issues.

The staff at the desk and the dining help were so nice and friendly....helpful. Give them a raise/ What we didn't like was that the room was so small. We couldn't even turn the luggage cart around. This room is fine for one person, but not for two. The hall carpet needs to be replaced.

The room smelled like wet Fritos corn chips. We had to run the AC to try to dissipate the smell. Sheets were not tucked in around the mattress. Very low water pressure in the shower.
