Reviews
The hotel is generally clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The location is convenient, particularly for visiting the Biltmore Estate. However, parking is a significant issue, with a small lot and difficult access through a busy restaurant parking lot. Road noise is also a common complaint, particularly for rooms facing the front.
- Clean rooms
- Friendly and accommodating staff
- Limited and difficult parking
- Significant road noise

We stayed for one night. It was an older but remodeled property. Rooms and bathroom were small but for just two people it was fine. Great location and the breakfast was yummy. The pool was not in use when we went at the end of May. I would definitely stay there again

After booking and traveling with my handicapped 75 year old mom for her b day trip we found out we were on the third floor, three flights of stairs up, walk up a steep hill. The shower had a deep edge which she couldn’t get into and the pool was closed in June. Front desk said they could move us to first floor if we stayed the first night on the third floor. We checked out after an hour, no receipt, NO REFUND FOR ANY OF THE NIGHTS! We went to another nearby accommodating hotel. The manager did not help, or refund any of our stay. We could not have my mom physically stay there, I was very disappointed and we spent our first night in Asheville trying to find a new location. Not a great start to our celebration.

Pool is in repair, front desk person wasn't real helpful or friendly ; room was good. Bed comfortable; breakfast was good but no breads or sweets.
- 5/5
Loved the location, cleanliness of the room, size of the room and the staff. I had no negative issues
- 3/5
If you get put in the front rooms you better not be a light sleeper !! All you hear is traffic going by from road and near by highway !!
- 4/5
It’s not clear from the description that it’s motel. It’s nice but it’s a motel. Also no elevator so if you are on the third floor there are steps.
- 5/5
All ok
- 5/5
Perfect for overnight stay and close to Biltmore.
- 4/5
Stayed 1 night went to the Biltmore estate beautiful place, I was thankful that there was a test available and still opened, I was traveling with 3 other adults and an infant. The only down side to this property was that they don't have an elevator stairs only.
- 2/5
Sketchy as hell!!! I thought being near the Biltmore would be nice.
- 4/5
Love the location close to a lot of good restaurants. I had a wheelchair non mobile person and they switched my room to a regular made it hard to get around in the room other than that I liked it
- 4/5
Everything was good. My only complaint was the exta 50 dollar deposit they charge. I was not prepared for that but it is refundable
- 4/5
Very good
- 4/5
Reception staff very cordial and helpful. Room was pretty clean; though, carpet could use cleaning. Breakfast was pretty good. Outdoor pool in horrible state of disrepair. It was an eyesore. Gave complimentary discount ticket for restaurant next door.
- 5/5
The pool was closed but that was ok with us. Room was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.
- 5/5
Room conveniently located, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Bring your own toilet paper😂

- 5/5
The breakfast here is quite good. The staff is friendly. I stayed for three days and received maid service each day, which seems like a disappearing commodity. The hotel is very close to the Biltmore.

They were waiting outside my door when it was time to check out. Although it was 30min before check out. Made me feel rushed & uneasy

Close to Biltmore and other Asheville locations. Handi capped accessible room.
- 3.5/5
The staff were nice and helpful. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, bed was comfortable. Location near Biltmore, five min from downtown. Full hot Breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles. The driveway to the motel was kind of sketchy. You have to pull off a busy road and immediately make an acute turn up a steep hill. Easy to miss the turn, signage isn’t great. Breakfast was good, but no ketchup for eggs?
- 4.5/5
Close to Biltmore and other Asheville locations. Handi capped accessible room.
- 4/5
Not a bad place, breakfast area is very, VERY small and cramped, having to go through a restaurant parking lot to get into the hotel is not ideal either, as well no elevator (3rd floor room kinda sucked lol) but overall not a bad place, location nor price
- 4/5
Place was so clean and the guy at the front desk was so friendly!!! Didnt like that the cleaning staff was banging on the door an hour before checkout to clean though lol But overall i def would stay again!
- 4/5
Room was clean and nice, the bed was comfy. Road noise was a little load being on the front of the building. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was typical but presented very well. The chives in the eggs where a little much but was still plenty to eat. Would stay again maybe on the back side. Came for a show in the area. Was extremely convenient, was able to walk to and from the show.
- 2/5
The sheets were sl
- 4/5
The property is nice but the pool was closed due to renovation. The fitness area is well equipped. Probably the biggest draw back for was location. While walkable to Biltmore Village driving in and out is a nightmare. The hotel is located uphill (same/only entry point) from the Texas Roadhouse restaurant. Navigating the parking lot on Friday and Saturday nights was actually scary.
- 5/5
Everything was great except the pool was not open
- 5/5
Everything went really well. The staff are very nice. The pool is no longer there so that was a bummer. Having Texas Steak House next door was fabulous. EXCELLENT FOOD!
- 5/5
Front desk was very helpful
- 5/5
Went OK

Yes
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful. She was very friendly and helpful. The check-in process was quick and easy. The room was clean, the water pressure was good, and the bed was comfortable. The location was good, right next to a Texas Roadhouse. I would stay here again.
- 5/5
Love staying there will be back
- 5/5
The driveway is steep and awkward, but everything else was terrific.
- 5/5
Breakfast is fresh
- 4/5
The hotel was clean and the staff were good. Breakfast was okay, I would have preferred toast to a waffle, the room faced the road so it was a little noisy. The door between rooms could be insulated ... we were kept awake by our talkative neighbors and awaked at 3 am by their TV. Other than that, a good hotel.
- 3/5
The property was just ok.
- 5/5
Clean room. Comfortable beds.
- 3/5
Clean room
- 5/5
The breakfast was below basic in my opinion. No choice of meat Only Pork Sausage. Please update menu to 2026 diet options. No biscuits & gravy. , unacceptable . My room , breakfast areas and property parking lot were clean. This location is near everything. Restaurants, Biltmore Village, Shops, etc.
- 3/5
Since this hotel had exterior doors, we could see into many rooms on the way to ours. There were a surprising number of rooms overfull with a number of men who were openly doing cooking of ethnic foods in the rooms. Highly questionable! There was also the smell of pot outside. Another factor that was a surprise to me was that there were no elevators for a three story hotel. It made getting around awkward, and driving around the building was one-way traffic only down narrow alleys in the side of a hill. Our key only worked for one night instead of two, so we had to make numerous trips down to fix that. There was A LOT of road noise heard in the room since we were so close to the street. Getting ice required a long walk and multiple stairs. Breakfast was adequate. Coffee was good. Not a bad stay. But not my favorite either. At least the staff was nice, and as helpful as they could be. Very close to Biltmore House.
- 4/5
It was a good value , but the traffic noise was loud at night .
- 4/5
Street traffic was loud, beds comfortable, very clean room.
- 1/5
Very rude lady at the desk check in time is at 3 I got there at 230 I said I’m here to check in and with an attitude and never looked up at me from the phone we don’t check in until 3 so I left still paid for room because it was to late to cancel but I wasn’t staying there never again
- 5/5
Very nice clean room. Was a bit noisy from traffic (I was on street side of hotel—request a room on the back side). Took a couple of attempts to find the parking lot entrance—just look for the Texas Roadhouse and enter their parking lot.
- 5/5
Great location and great price. I would stay again!
- 5/5
We did not eat the breakfast bu the room was cool and very comfortable.
- 5/5
Very clean. Great location. Would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
The room was very clean and the staff at the desk and maid service was excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast and there was a good choice of foods available. The site was conveniently located near the biltmore and the downtown Asheville area. The in and out of the place was a little tricky. Just a heads up use the gas station to come in and out o the hotel. There is a Texas Road House right next door to the hotel and easily walkable from your room. The only issue that was a little problematic was there was a large pile of dirt or mulch in parking area out back and made it a little difficult to come in and out. Other than that for a moderately priced hotel we were pleased. there is coffee pot, microwave and refridgerator in room which was very useful and beds were very comfortable.
- 5/5
On the down side, the hotel is on a busy road. Rooms on the back side were somewhat protected from the traffic noise
- 5/5
Nice and convenient
- 5/5
Entrance is one way due to location and side is steep for walking but stairs are in middle .Breakfast from 6:30
- 4/5
Staff very helpful
- 4/5
Just a nice place to sleep. Was in and out as we passed through the area
- 5/5
There really wasn’t variety for the free breakfast. It was in a very small space. This hotel really needs a larger breakfast area where the food is served. We were unlucky & got stuck with a large family that came in after us. They were rude, pushing their was in front of us while we were in the middle of serving ourselves. One adult from that large family took half the pan of eggs for himself & the children were allowed to put their hands into everything. The children also cleaned the place out of Nutella. Overall, it was good for a one night stay.
- 5/5
The breakfast was typical for a continental buffet.
- 4/5
Love the helpful staff. 😁
- 5/5
Breakfast was good
- 1/5
Check-in wasn’t until 3:00 PM, which I understand. When we returned, staff were training at the front desk. That’s fine, but we were assigned the wrong room. I specifically asked for a room on the back side away from road noise and was told that’s what I had. Instead, we were given a key to the wrong room and just decided to stay in the room we were assigned. After a long day, we settled in to rest, only to be repeatedly disturbed by people trying to enter the room. This happened multiple times. The knocking became aggressive enough that I felt forced to open the door, despite having just been woken up and not being fully dressed. That’s not a situation any guest should be put in. Shortly after, the manager and trainee knocked and said no one should be in the room—despite the fact they had just checked me in. It turned out I was placed in the wrong room. The biggest issue was the lack of follow-up by the manager who exclaimed how they would “make things right,” but no one ever came back, and nothing was done. The room we ended up in was noisy with traffic and semi trucks throughout the night. Breakfast was also disappointing-waffle mix was empty and strangely colored. For nearly $100, this was one of the more frustrating stays I’ve had. I would reconsider this review if management makes an effort to resolve this.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good (except I didn’t care for the scrambled eggs). The negatives wouldn’t prevent me from staying here again.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Desk manager was excellent. Breakfast area was crowded and limited selection.
- 4/5
Needs an upgrade to exercise room
- 5/5
Very nice staff very close to the Biltmore and downtown. Also close to some hiking trails. Right next to steakhouse. Enjoyable for the price it was great
- 3/5
The room was spotless, the staff were nice and the air conditioning worked great. The only issue that we had is, there was a deposit that we were unaware of, and they couldn’t take our card which was not disclosed in the agreement when booking so we had to find a card and add money to it that they could accept. They cannot take chime, cashapp, Venmo or any prepaid cards but chime is an actual bank account they refused to take.

Yes
- 4/5
Staff was great. Clean, convenient, tight parking and a lot of outside noise
- 3/5
very loud. parking was difficult.
- 4/5
Convenient location, clean room, comfy bed and good breakfast. Pleasant staff. Parking lot is a bit congested but they can’t help that.
- 5/5
Nice clean room. Well maintained premises. Great breakfast. Walk to Texas Roadhouse.
- 5/5
Everything was good! Room was clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
Staff was excellent and helpful. I did not indulge in the complimentary breakfast, but it smelled delicious. Air conditioning was WONDERFUL. My anti anxiety med makes me prone to heat strokes and hot flashes, I was comfortable my entire stay. My only complaint are the beds, they were very tough and quite uncomfortable.
- 2/5
Breakfast was good. Clean room. Very noisy
- 3/5

- 5/5
Room very clean and fresh, nice ac,and breakfast was amazing great coffee
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
Very nice facility.
- 5/5
Everything went good
- 5/5
Clean and quiet. Enjoyed our stay!
- 5/5
I did not see a gym. I liked the cleanliness and the staff. Very limited choices for dining if you are just walking. You would need a car to go to the restaurants in downtown Asheville and surroundings.
- 5/5
Great location in Biltmore Village area. Clean rooms
- 5/5
Everything was great. Got checked in easy, nice morning breakfast to get us going. Clean rooms and no issues
- 1/5
11am rolls around and nothing was done the new front desk staff tells me I cannot stay another night and I quote "this isnt our problem, leave the hotel now or i will call the police" I didn't argue I just left, but I will make absolute positive I never spend another penny with not only clarion pointe but anyone owned by their parent company choice hotels.
- 5/5
Only draw back is the entrance is a hard right off a busy road. Signal early, and slow to a crawl, for your own safety.
- 4/5
Small room but fine for a one night visit
- 5/5
Had great time in Asheville
- 5/5
Always a good, solid hotel for the price.
- 4/5
AC worked very well. Room was clean, waffles taste good.
- 5/5
Looked to be recently updated, very clean. Traveled alone felt safe!
- 5/5
Very nice full hot breakfast. Spacious room with free standing tub, fireplace, king bed, balcony overlooking river, 2 sinks, refrigerator/microwave. Had to spend more time in room than originally planned due to getting sick, so comfortable for recovery.
- 5/5
Convenient location
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 4/5
Room was clean and pleasant. Staff was very helpful. I was pleased with our stay.
- 5/5
Parking is Tight but it's in a mountain town.
- 3/5
This was an older facility. All doors open to the outside. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was not great unless you like waffles. Not bad for the price. Overnight was fine. I would not stay for a week. Texas Road House was next door. Good steak. Minimal road noise.
- 3/5
The hotel was convenient. Room smelled a little musty and cleaning could have been better. Found hair in shower and around the sink area. Overall, the staff were kind.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were kind and accommodating. It was a nice stay!
- 4/5
Ultra clean
- 5/5
Great room clean
- 4/5
The staff was helpful. Our room faced the busy street and was very loud. We asked for a room change and our second night was much better.
- 5/5
Room was clean and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful with giving guidance on restaurants in the area.
- 5/5
A great motel for the cost. Always clean and comfortable. Close to Biltmore and Biltmore Village. We stay here everytime
- 5/5
Very steep drive in and out, if its icy not sure how you'd do it.
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful and friendly
- 5/5
The staff is friendly and very helpful to my 81-year-old mother who stays there when she as doctor’s appointments in town.
- 5/5
Location
- 5/5
Great front desk workers
- 4/5
Room was great and staff were great as well! Great water pressure and temperature.
- 4/5
Exceptionally clean. Everyone was very courteous. The outside staff could’ve done a better job with clearing the snow from the parking lot and treating the sidewalks with snow melt - they were very icy - bordering on dangerous.
- 5/5
Everything was grea
- 5/5
Clean, friendly
- 5/5
Clean rooms and staff was very helpful in making my stay comfortable
- 5/5
It was very nice. The staff are great.
- 3/5
And, although not specific to Clarion, isn’t it time wonky USB ports were upgraded and/or USB-C ports be provided, too?
- 5/5
Great stay. Chelsea, the assistant manager, was incredibly helpful when our car broke down. Truly, she went above and beyond to help us manage the exigencies of having to buy a car that morning so we could leave ahead of the winter storm coming later in the day. We could not have navigated all the details without her kind assistance!
- 3/5
The room was in decent condition, but they were quite a bit of stink bugs inside of the room
- 4/5
Nice staff and location next to Texas Roadhouse.Restaurant very busy but right next door, good staff and food.
- 4/5
Clean room, excellent customer service from Chris at the front desk. Our only complaints are that having to go through the Texas Roadhouse parking lot to get to the hotel parking lot was problematic on Saturday evening, and the breakfast statioj could be bigger and have two waffle makers instead of one.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, gives you the essentials. Great for budget stay with no frills. They gave us 10% the Texas Roadhouse which is next door and excellent!
- 5/5
A quick one night stay. Understood the property was mid level budget friendly but it far exceeded my expectations. Room was fresh, clean, and well decorated. Beds excellent, breakfast was a nice bonus. Parking and entry access is a challenge, highway noise was minimal
- 5/5
Room was very clean and spotless
- 5/5
Staff was very kind and helpful with pointing us to places to eat. Room was very clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
Decent value for the price. Carpets needed cleaned about 10 years ago. Beds were comfortable enough.
- 4/5
The room was very clean and smelled wonderful. The property was well kept and staff was very nice.
- 5/5
I always stay here when visiting Asheville - i have no reason to go anywhere else… always happy here!
- 4/5
You do get what you pay for… that said it is nothing to write home about but it was a clean cheap motel with a small hot breakfast in a convenient area of Asheville.
- 2/5
No, the breakfast was very little and it was awful. Nothing really to choose from.
- 5/5
Nice hotel! Room was clean along with the parking lot. Front desk helped with airport info. Close to the Biltmore without braking the wallet.
- 5/5
Great
- 1/5
I went to check in and they wouldn’t give me a room because they don't rent to locals. It was New Years Eve, and I booked a hotel to be responsible. Due to their ‘policy’ to avoid locals causing trouble, my plans were ruined and I stayed home. A terrible experience and I’ll never stay at any Clarion in the country as a result of this blatant discrimination.
- 5/5
Everything was great. Clean rooms and good staff. Breakfast was more than contental which was a plus. Scrambled eggs, sausage and waffles all fabulous.
- 1/5
Bed bugs
- 5/5
Very clean and nice room
- 4/5
Helped me out when I booked on hotel.com had double booked he was able to cancel the wrong one and just a really nice stay clean modern we enjoy it plus one of the best breakfast I have had in a hotel free
- 5/5
We just needed a quick stay for one-note while we continued on our trip. This was super convenient, right off the highway. Lots of restaurants near by. Rooms were very clean. Not a big fan of Inn's myself, but we had no issues with this hotel and check in and out was a breeze. Friendly staff. Great price.
- 2/5
Staffs are helping so much but noisy in and out of the room. Thanks!!
- 3/5
Room was updated and clean. It was very close and convenient to visit the Biltmore. It was, however, very difficult to get to. You had to go thru a restaurant parking lot to get there. Also breakfast area was small and difficult to find sitting.
- 5/5
Great place to stay!
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Nice breakfast
- 5/5
Can’t say enough about the staff’s knowledge of the area and making us feel at home, will be back.
- 5/5
Clean comfortable room, friendly front desk staff
- 3/5
I did not stay at this hotel because the hot water pipes were broken when I arrived. Clarion sent me to Country Inn & Suites on Tunnel Rd., which was fine.
- 4/5
Clean room, great staff, nice continental breakfast with waffles, and biscuits and gravy.
- 5/5
Excellent hot breakfast, microwave, fridge and hair dryer in the room. Everything the more expensive hotels have.
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
Breakfast was good! Def surpassed my expectations. Rooms were as described. Driveway up is pretty steep- I wouldn't want to do it in icy conditions, but other than that would stay again!
- 5/5
Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Soap packages are impossible to open without scissors!
- 5/5
Cleanest rooms in a hotel since before covid! Good breakfast, friendly staff close to all we wanted to do!
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and the location was great. Our room as very clean and fresh looking. We were very pleased for what we paid.
- 5/5
Clean room, great breakfast, excellent location for our Biltmore Estate visit.
- 1/5
It was 12 degrees outside , no heat , lights in my home. I booked a place through hotels.com at a local Clarion Hotel. When I showed up the front desk refuse to honor my reservation because I lived a few miles away
- 5/5
We didn't plan to stay in the room long each day and didn't want to spend much on a room, so we chose the Clarion for the location and price point. The staff was courteous, efficient, and helpful. The room was pristine, tastefully done, and looked newly appointed. I was worried at first about the steep hill to get in and out, but the hotel monitored weather and salted appropriately. Entrance and exit was not an issue. Because it is an exterior door type of hotel, I had initial reservations about noise and safety, but we never had any problems with either. The close proximity to everything was especially helpful. For the price, cleanliness, staff, and location, we would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Registrar very informative and prompt. The room was very clean and the mattress and pillows were comfortable.
- 4/5
The room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable but all the reviews saying it is a quiet location must not have stayed on a Saturday night.
- 4/5
Would stay again but would request room in back.
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly enough staff, breakfast was great. You can hear the road noise very well at night but not a deal breaker.
- 5/5
The room was clean. I was impressed it was cleaned every day. Staff was great. Breakfast was very good.
- 5/5
As I told the desk manager as we were leaving, this was probably the CLEANEST hotel room we've ever stayed in.. It was quiet and private, too.
- 5/5
I stayed the night after having surgery so that I would be close to the hospital. The staff were so great. The lady at check in came to the car to help with check in. So kind as I was in a great deal of pain.
- 5/5
Clean room and nice staff
- 2/5
The breakfast was just kinda ok. I took one look at the old hardened scrambled eggs and promptly drove to the nearest Waffle House.
- 5/5
ppy how easy it was to work the tv
- 5/5
Staff was really friendly and professional
- 5/5
Friendly staff and good location
- 5/5
Good place for a quiet night and solid breakfast
- 2/5
Meh
- 4/5
Courteous staff. Clean room.
- 3/5
Please be aware that there are no hallways. You have to enter from outside and there’s lots of parking noise. Nothing like the pictures. This place is fine for an economy. Stay but was also a bit pricey.
- 4/5
Clean room.
- 2/5
The hotel was nice and had no problem checking in. We enjoyed going to the Biltmore house the next day but didn’t get to rest because at least 6 ambulances were heard all night. We decide to leave a day sooner and they wanted to charge us $25 to leave early after I paid Expedia for the room. I left the key cards in the room and we left without paying the $25.
- 5/5
Nice , modern and clean . Cleaning and fresh towels for our 2nd night . Decent breakfast and decent price!
- 4/5
Front desk nice. Convenient location.
- 5/5
Biltmore estate is just infront of the hotel - very closeby and perfect location to hangaround.
- 5/5
Great to stay.
- 5/5
Great service, definitely would stay again.
- 5/5
Very nice for a quick stop. Stayed one night. Good enough for that
- 5/5
Clean and excellent breakfast
- 5/5
I would stay here again.
- 5/5
Room was perfect and the lady at the front desk was efficient and friendly.
- 5/5
Easy check in
- 5/5
Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Perfect stay for traveling through.
- 5/5
Very clean!
- 5/5
Desk Check in staff James was excellent. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the area providing some destination tips.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
Very convenient even though it is undergoing a renovation
- 5/5
The room was clean. Despite the value price, it didn't feel creepy. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. There were several outlets, regular and ones for USB-A. It is conveniently located off I-40 and close to Biltmore estate. My room faced the road so it was a noisy once rush hour traffic started. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Clean
- 2/5
I didn't expect the room doors to be on the outside but that's my fault for not checking it out better. We did not feel safe. Very noisy with road traffic and people closing doors and talking. Someone outside yelling profanity late in the evening. I had booked a 2 night stay but decided not to stay the second night. They would not refund my money for the second night. Also, they advertise being in Biltmore Village, but they are not in the Biltmore Village town limits.Awful place to stay and it wasn't cheap.
- 5/5

- 4/5
Courteous staff . Clean room
- 5/5
Room clean ,staff great
- 4/5
Clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Very clean room and the staff was exceptional!
- 3/5
No ice machine. Traffic most is challenging. Bathroom door is too close to toilet.
- 4/5
Following the traffic pattern around building, would add a mirror on the pole so we can see traffic coming from check-in
- 5/5
Very pleasant stay. Staff friendly, rooms clean and breakfast included.
- 3/5
Loud!!
- 5/5
Room was comfortable.Getting into motel was difficult due to Texas Roadhouse using same driveway, turning off main road was backed up.
- 5/5
The room was great, we didn't have breakfast either morning so can't comment on it, service was great too.
- 5/5
Very clean room, nice area, but the best part was the staff. Thy were very welcoming and happy to tell me about the area.
- 5/5
Extremely clean and courteous staff. I will return.
- 4/5
The was clean the location is good but you do get a lot on noise from the highway that’s right next to it
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay
- 5/5
Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered a reasonable variety and was well maintained.
- 4/5
Nice. 😊
- 5/5
Yes was very good
- 3/5
Housekeeping was quite noisy first thing in the morning. We did not realize when we checked in that we were right around the corner from the laundry and noise started pretty early w housekeepers getting materials and talking.
- 3/5
Lastly, the road noise is heavy and constant. Qhile it did not awaken us, like the first examples did, it is present.
- 4/5
Clean room, price was reasonable.
- 5/5
Very clean
- 5/5
Staff very courteous, room was clean and recently renovated! Great location and price!
- 4/5
The a/c keep the room comfortable.
- 5/5
Everything was new and beds were comfy.
- 5/5
Staff was nice rooms were clean very close to biltmore estate
- 4/5
This was a great stay for the price. I just wish for more places to use reusable cups, and flatware, etc. in order to reduce waste.
- 4/5
Breakfast was a disappointment. Over booked staff was of no help. Traffic noise was terrible.
- 5/5
Room was clean and had a pleasant smell! Carpets were even shampooed before our arrival. Front desk and cleaning team was great!
- 4/5
Good room very clean. Ok average breakfast but only high sugar cereal nothing healthy. Ok front desk. The maid did an excellent job all 3 days.
- 4/5
Room was very clean and staff was pleasant.
- 5/5
Room was clean. Staff was nice. Did not enjoy someone checking in at 2:30 am in the adjoining room next to us they were loud. Overall good location good stay
- 4/5
Clean and very nice staff.
- 5/5
Good location
- 3/5
The room and everything were fine, but I requested a 4:00 am wake-up call on the morning I left because I had to catch a very early flight. I never received the call.
- 3/5
Great room. Great front desk. Lots of noise from the road though. Also, a very noisy heater/ac made it hard to sleep
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Maps of the area and a list of weekend events were provided at check in. Rooms were extremely clean. I loved the quality of the sheets. They were luxurious!
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean
- 4/5
Very clean and well maintained property. Staff friendly and helpful. The only knock is the breakfast. Same exact breakfast every morning.
- 4/5
Road noi
- 5/5
Friendly staff, great breakfast, great location, fair price!
- 5/5
Very nice rooms and clean. Friendly staff
- 4/5
The room smelled great when we walked in and looked very clean. For breakfast I’d say move the coffee out of the breakfast area and set it up on the bar. It made the room way too crowded. Poor people had to sit right in front of the juice machine. I’d say either move that table and chairs or figure out another configuration. The food was average. Stay was good
- 4/5
All the staff we interacted with were helpful and friendly. The room was clean. Only complaints are the hot options for breakfast were the same everyday. The eggs were paper thin and I'm not really sure if they were eggs. Also, please get different toilet paper. 😬
- 5/5
The bed and pillow were very comfortable. The room was quiet. The staff was helpful. The microwave, refrigerator, and hair dryer were useful. The internet/computer needs some improvement. It was difficult to log on to the internet and impossible to print a document.
- 5/5
Older property but completely updated rooms. Clean. All staff were great.
- 5/5
Staff helpful, informative. Parking a little tight but accommodating. Room clean. Coffee goid Breakfast typical.
- 5/5
Texas Roadhouse next to hotel. Be sure to get a discount card at checkin.
- 4/5
Parking is not the greatest thing about this hotel, but it’s still a nice place to stay. Minus the road facing room and hearing traffic all night long.
- 4/5
Older hotel, but the room and bath were very clean, quiet. Very tight parking. Did not try the breakfast.
- 5/5
Clean, friendly, comfortable
- 4/5
Everything great. Access to parking isn't great. So mostly great. Great
- 5/5
Bad a great time in north Carolina this weekend. People at the clarion were super nice. Hotel was clean and smelled fresh.
- 4/5
Ok
- 1/5
Awful. Rooms smell bad. You have to drive through the parking lot of Texas Road House to get here. All rooms have outside doors. Rooms are really cheap. We paid $180 for a sleezy motel 6 Nothing like what it was purported by Expedia. Don’t make the same mistake we did. Thank god it was only one night.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
Room was clean, beds were really comfy. Breakfast ended at 9:30 and as much as we tried we just weren't able to make it there. Possibly because the beds were so comfy that we didn't want to get up and out. The only slightly negative that I have is that the parking lot is pretty tight to get thru. Would definitely stay there again.
- 3/5
Very clean rooms and overall bathroom. When I booked, I did not realize this is a stairs and outside door room, which is not terrible in my opinion. Convenient to close by shopping/dining areas. Parking is a little tight. For the price, not too bad. The only thing is, the hotel is next to a very busy road so expect to hear all the cars passing by. Did not get a chance to eat breakfast.
- 3/5
There's a large gap underneath the entry door so I had to stuff a bath towel in the gap to prevent the cool air from the AC escaping
- 5/5
Front desk was extremely nice and accommodated my request. The room as always was very clean, has a pleasant, updated appearance. For the price, it’s a solid place to stay and save money for shopping downtown or enjoying Biltmore house which is just down the street.
- 4/5
The room was very pretty and clean. The only downside was that the fragrance used was super overpowering. We had to prop open the door the first hour we were there and I got up twice in the night to open the door for fresh air. The front desk associate Chris was super friendly and helpful with finding restaurants since we are vegans. He recommended Rosetta’s downtown and it was one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at, even if we weren’t vegan. Large portions also. We could have ordered half and still had leftovers. We will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Very nice.Beds were comfortable. Great location. Was there for one night only. Would go back and stay again.
- 5/5
Very clean & well maintained.
- 5/5
Clean room and great staff.
- 5/5
We stayed for 3 nights while in town visiting the Biltmore for the first time. Nice, quiet, and very clean room. Breakfast included many different options available from cereal and oatmeal, to sausage, eggs and gravy biscuits, to waffles and pastries. We never left hungry for our start of the day exploring. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here and would do so again if in the area. BTW, did I mention there is a Texas Roadhouse right next door you an easily walk to for a yummy meal!
- 5/5
The ac was good and breakfast was fresh!
- 3/5
The hotel was conveniently located and has a restaurant right next to it. The room was clean, but the cleaning product they use smell too strong. Unfortunately there was no other room available and since I made the reservation via Expedia the hotel could not offer a refund. However, the hotel receptionist was extra nice dealing with the issue.
- 4/5
Everyone at the front desk was super friendly and accommodating. It was a busy weekend and although we couldn’t check in early we were able to get our parking permit early and leave our car at the hotel while we went to an event. Our room was clean and the only downside was that the walls are a little thin and our neighbors were a little loud. It’s a great location and close to the highway. Would definitely stay again.
- 4/5
room was clean, tried to sit by the pool but it was very noisy
- 4/5
No burea in the room to put our clothes in. Very noisy with people walking past room.
- 5/5
Honestly the nicest hotel I've stayed at in this price range in YEARS!! Clean, nice, and helpful and friendly staff! Don't hesitate, book now!
- 3/5
Very difficult to find the hotel. Room was EXTREMELY cramped. My husband and I could not walk to the other side of the room at the same time. Parking was bad.
- 4/5
I didn’t realize it was a motel but it was clean
- 5/5
Good over all stay. Room clean, bed soft. Can’t complain.
- 1/5
We didn’t stay - we were turned away because we live locally.
- 2/5
There were multiple stink bugs in the room the more I looked the more I saw like they left the door open all night. The guy at the front desk was nice but said they had no other rooms and kinda acted like it’s just that time of the year but we killed over 20. So I had to cancel and find a different place to stay.I’m from Florida we have plenty of bugs that just didn’t seem normal. Other than that I would have no complaints.
- 4/5
Close to where we needed to be. Good food in the area as well
- 3/5
Property is OK but there is a lot of road noise due to the hotel’s location
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Very clean property and friendly staff
- 4/5
Comfortable room and beds, good breakfast.
- 4/5
Friendly staff, very clean hotel and walking distance to a Texas Roadhouse.
- 5/5
Many shops nearby, restaurant and bar within walking distance.
- 4/5
Nice hotel. I enjoyed my stay
- 3/5
Our room was in the front of hotel and because it was close to the road it was quite noisy. Besides that it was fine. Close to biltmore estate.
- 3/5
Smelled and lacked maintenance.
- 3/5
To many stink bugs in room
- 5/5
Safe area, essy parking, clean rooms. I had no complaints for my shoet stay.
- 5/5
Great staff. Decent breakfast. Very close to the Biltmore. Make sure you get a room on the backside of hotel as road noise on the front is pretty bad.
- 5/5
The only thing i didnt like is i could hear the traffic im use to the country
- 3/5
The traffic noise was extremely loud other people staying there were extremely loud, and the parking lot was horrible because you had to drive through the Texas roadhouse parking lot, which was overcrowded to get to the hotel and to get out of the hotel
- 5/5
It was a bit difficult to enter the parking lot of the Clarion. The driveway is a bit hidden. But once you get to the motel, it was a nice set-away place in a busy area.
- 4/5
Hotel was conveniently located for our stay. Restaurant was a short walking distance from hotel which allowed us to order and pick up. We stayed on back side of hotel so quiet. Not sure if front would have bedn noisy. Little bit tricky entering hitel parking lot due to steep incline amd then going through a Steak house parking lot. Glad to support Asheville after hurricane hit them hard last September
- 4/5
We liked how easy it was to check in and how quiet it really is. Very clean and everything worked finr in our room
- 4/5
It was very clean, but getting in and out of hotel was a bit difficult. Nice place overall but needed a microwave in room.
- 4/5
Very mediocre breakfast
- 2/5
Small hotel jammed up on a hill with no inside hallways. The cars zooming on the highway were so loud and the room smelled crazy
- 5/5
Check in staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and maintained.
- 5/5
Finding property not easy, needs better signage, busy road. Have to pull into Texas roadhouse to enter. Bed was pretty comfortable for the price. Very clean. Staff was great!
- 5/5
Very clean and friendly staff. Quick check in
- 5/5
Comfortable and convenient
- 4/5
Clean room.
- 4/5
Close to main highway
- 5/5
We enjoyed our time at the hotel. Staff was friendly and breakfast was very tasty . The menu included waffles.
- 3/5
Nada especial. Me pareció caro para lo que es
- 4/5
…
- 5/5
Staff was excellent and gave some good recommendations for the local area
- 3/5
So, even though I didn't use the pool, I picked this because the pool is outside and not in a steamy room. The photo does not show you that the pool is at the front of the property and it's right on a super busy and noisy road. It looks like you could sit there and look out into the woods! If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room at the back, which is more convenient for parking, it really is a lot of road noise. Breakfast was good and complete with choices, though the same both mornings, often hotels will mix it up, scrambled one day, something else the next, bacon one day, sausage the next. But I was able to have good protein and not just waffles or pastries/carbs. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Great location, clean rooms and good breakfast
- 4/5
Difficult to find entrance. Otherwise, clean, quiet and reasonable.
- 4/5
Staff was pleasant. Check-in was a breeze. Even though it appear to be a little bit older facility (entry door had a fairly large gap between the frame and the door), it was was tastefully decorated. It had well above amenities which was great for a low cost motel. I would recommend this to others and I would stay again
- 1/5
Rebook this hotel because the reviews was good, I went to sleep middle of the night I wake up with itching like crazy, we found little animals which they were bed bugs. I even pictured those animals and went to front desk I showed them my buddy with swallowing little spots and the picture of that friendly animal they are not really willing to help me they offered me another room but in that moment I thought this hotel is not safe to sleep in those beds. Whoever going to stay in this hotel check the rooms beds pillows before you go to sleep...
- 1/5
It was a Terrible experience the staff were unprofessional and racially profiled me based on appearance and since I didn’t have a credit card made me leave a $500 dollar dept. they gave us the worst room uncomfortable beds and bad service
- 5/5
The room was spacious and clean. My room came with a functional microwave and fridge. The only complaint I have would be the breakfast selection.
- 4/5
It was fine.
- 4/5
There was an issue with the coffee and staff apologized and took care of it promptly and were very courteous.
- 3/5
It’s alright
- 5/5
I was really good services
- 5/5
Will stay again
- 5/5
We wii stay here again when in the area
- 4/5
Be sure to request a room facing the back of the building. The rooms facing the street are subject to too much road noise.
- 3/5
The room was clean, breakfast was good, the staff nice and friendly. The only complaint I have is some of the guests in other rooms shouting/fighting and I felt a little unsafe especially as I was with family with my little nieces too
- 5/5
You have a Texas Road house next to the inn also you’re only an 8 min drive to downtown Asheville.
- 5/5
Very clean, convenient to Biltmore area
- 5/5
The drive into the property is a little rough on front end of car, but once there the staff are great. Rooms are clean. Parking is limited n tight. Noises are loud from ambulance n fire dept. Ac is great. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is ok but space is limited. Watch your bill for sure. My bill should have been 296.00 and was on printoutbut was 349.00 charged to bank so watch the bills. Should have gotten a confirmation email on bill but did not. Thankfully i have printed bill.
- 3/5
Room was mid. Only complaint was the parking. Really inconvenient especially if you have a large vehicle. Only plus is that it is not far from the Biltmore estate and downtown.
- 4/5
This was a very clean basic motel. It’s older but has been refurbished. If you’re looking for something clean and affordable this works.
- 1/5
The room was bad, not a $200 room at all. A gap in the door had road noise . Outlets by the sink didn’t work. Musty smell. The restaurant next door made it hard to get in. The parking is so tight my car barely fit
- 5/5
Didn't stay long but seemed quiet and convenient to the highway.
- 5/5
We checked in and James was fantastic. Love our room, able to park right in front of the doir. Excellent price, would totally stay here again!
- 5/5
Breakfast was good. The room was clean. We have no complaints.
- 4/5
We didn't realize that the hotel shares a driveway with a Texas Roadhouse. It was somewhat challenging to get thru the parking lot and hard to see to get out of it .
- 5/5
Great location close to everything Asheville has to offer
- 4/5
The rooms were nice. The parking was very limited, some had to park at the restaurant next door. Tight parking lot in getting around the property.
- 5/5
Much better than expected.
- 5/5
I always stay here when visiting Asheville- it’s just the right price and value i need… Asheville has so much to offer you just need a affordable clean place to rest at night and this Clarion does that everytime for me.
- 5/5
Very quiet and friendly staff
- 5/5
Rooms were very clean, bathroom was immaculate and our bed was very comfortable.
- 4/5
The hotel is close to the road, so it's a bit loud. Honestly for a Saturday night, it wasn't too bad. The room was one of the cleanest I've been in in a long time. No mold or chiped tile in the bathroom, a fan and shower that worked, and bright white tile and caulk. For a budget hotel, I would stay again!
- 3/5
They need to either update their online photos or actually update the hotel. The parking was ridiculous and be aware, there is no elevator.
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
The crew was amazing
- 5/5
We always stay here when in Asheville. Comfortable, clean and affordable. Short walk from your room to Texas Roadhouse. 5 minutes from the hospital, biltmore and downtown.
- 5/5
Great location for the Biltmore area
- 5/5
Very clean - staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. Places close by to eat.
- 5/5
Super clean and smelled good. Parking is tight. Very affordable price.
- 4/5
The room was great
- 1/5
I paid for two weeks and then paid for one more day and they took my things out of the apartment and what I had in the fridge was not returned. Terrible service.
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Monica at the front desk. 3 minutes from Biltmore. Breakfast was a step above continental with eggs and sausage.
- 5/5
Comfortable and convenient
- 5/5
Fantastic folks working there that go above and beyond to make your stay great. The rooms look recently renovated, and are very clean and comfortable. And the housekeeping staff is just wonderful. Always helpful and so friendly, and they work hard to make sure you have everything you could need or want. Also, the free breakfast every morning is quite good! I couldn’t be happier with my stay, and I will be returning any time I’m in Asheville. Thanks everyone!!
- 5/5
The breakfast served is good and fresh. Our room we have is on the road side which You can hear the cars and motorcycles passing by. It’s best to get a room on the other side which is probably quiet. Texas road house is next door that Serves good food. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
It was a quick stay. We went to Bristol for the ball game and stayed here to shorten our drive home. Bed was comfy, shower was warm! Would def stay here again!
- 5/5
Nice, clean, easily accessible location. And the breakfast was great!
- 4/5
It was fine. Only issue is the walls are paper thin and an alarm went off in the Nextdoor room for 30 minutes before stopping.
- 5/5
The staff is excellent, the rooms have been renovated and are nice and clean, and the location is perfect! It’s a little hidden gem, especially for the price. Couldn’t be happier with my stay!!
- 3/5
Room itself was great, clean and comfortable. R
- 4/5
GREAT FRONT DESK-BREAKFAST AND ROOM STAFF!!!!
- 4/5
The room was clean and updated with comfortable beds and pillows. The breakfast was very good. However, access to the property is difficult. The turn off the main road is a sharp turn with a steep hill and then you have to drive through the narrow, crowded Texas Roadhouse parking lot.
- 1/5
Didn't let me check in
- 5/5
Staff was absolutely amazing.
- 5/5
Front desk staff was amazing. The rooms were very clean. It's an outside entrance hotel, a bit noisy patrons at night, however for the price, I couldn't have asked for anything more. Want to reinforce that the staff was very polite and helpful. Great people.
- 3/5
Basic motel.. Small rooms, no elevator, outside access motel.. no hair dryer
- 3/5
Really loud due to road traffic and the facilities are run down and could use an update. The beds are really hard as well.
- 5/5
Great hotel will definitely return .
- 3/5
Breakfast options were limited. Bed was more firm than I like. Staff was friendly. Space was clean.
- 5/5
Room/property were very clean. The free breakfast was great and it was very convenient to Asheville NC
