Staff was great! Bar was nice the only issue was the patio furniture was. Little moldy from all the water and nothing to shield it from the rain. Since it is thick and nicely cushioned it takes a while to dry so it gets moldy

Cons: Rooftop bar was never open, bathroom door in room didn't close all the way even after a repair; lights in room were wonky and hard to control.

The hotel was in a great location. I loved the look of the room and lobby. We loved the amenities.

Great location! They sent directions for parking beforehand, so it was a convenient process to check in and get parked. The room was excellent. We were upgraded to a cabana and even though there were people yelling on the pool deck until late, we did not hear anything in our room. We would stay here again!

Was a very nice hotel, in a good area of downtown. The rooms weren't the cleanest I have seen, some stains on bed sheets and pillows were visible. The checkin/check out process was swift and friendly.

Area is overhyped and overpriced. Charging NYC prices for a town where there isn't much to do. There are far better places to visit and spend your money

First time in Asheville and this hotel was the perfect location to explore downtown. Alot of walkable stuff to check out and close to River Arts District. We stayed in one of the rooms by the pool and we loved it! Would definitely recommend!

Location, location, location! This hotel is close to everything. Walkable to restaurants, music venues, breweries, shopping and even a baseball game! No need for a car or to park in the garage if you are in town for fewer than 3 or 4 days.

The room is just too loud you can hear next door guests talking. The rooms are connected by a door. The room is very smelly it has to be refreshed. There was pubic hair and housekeeping should be better.

Our room smelled like a wet dog. Where i love animals, I don't appreciate smelling them while we sleep. We won't be staying at a hotel that allows pets if there aren't dedicated no pets rooms. Another room in our party had mold in the shower ceiling and the fan wasn't working so they moved rooms.

This was a perfect choice for our girls trip. Asheville is a very guest friendly city. We had a great time at the pool with friends, local restaurants, and shopping!

We were okay using our phones but you guys did say in your welcome email that the staff would be helpful in that regard, Hotel was stark with it's cement floors and XYZ lounge was empty every night. The outside area was cruddy outside the lobby.

Excellent service and friendly staff!! Also, we enjoyed meeting Wednesday, the hotel's foster dog. She is a sweetheart and we pray she finds her forever home soon! The only thing that bothered us about our entire stay was the fact that the alarm clock had been set to 6am by a previous guest and had not been turned off prior to our stay. However, it alarm itself was a lovely strumming guitar so it wasn't so bad.

Room was nice and beds were amazingly comfortable. Hotel was 500 feet away from The Orange Peel where we were heading. The only grumble I have is about the parking garage and the elevators. Very confusing.

Compared with other hotels in its category, the Aloft Asheville was excellent. Great location, especially for shopping, restaurants, Asheville Yards, The Orange Peel, and breweries. Well-curated funky retro-contemporary vibe. Comfortable bed, mostly quiet room. Everything was very clean and well maintained. A terrific property, I would not hesitate to stay here again and again.

Staff was incredibly helpful as our reservations were messed up and Manager Jeff was able to correct the errors without any additional cost. We were disappointed that the pool was not open, but everything else was outstanding!

Everything was clean and the hotel had a great vibe. Being a dog friendly establishment was a huge plus!

We liked everything

The hotel was generally well-maintained, bright, and clean on the outside, which gave a good first impression. Our room was comfortable overall, though we did notice a few hair strands on the shower room wall after checking in. The biggest downside was the gym — there was no AC, only a fan that didn’t help much. It also needs shades, as the space gets extremely hot and sunny during the day, making workouts uncomfortable. The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff, who were very kind, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our visit.

The room was dark and bear basics only. Just OK not bad but nothing to write home about.

My room was never really serviced - counters/sink never washed, toilet paper removed from bathroom, desk top not ever cleaned! Sheets in a 5 night stay - never changed! Toilet/shower area smelled like urine! I spoke with Dexter Hazel regarding my room never being serviced at all on 4/5/26 requiring me at 9:30pm to request towels, washcloths, cups/creamers! Your hotel may be a boutique hotel but it’s still not Howard Johnson’s nor are your prices! I would never recommend your hotel to anyone!

When I returned through garage, no note was on door saying it was locked and needed key. I pried it open, dogs walked through and it closed on my dog leash. Very very dangerous, no signage(despite what desk said) An arrest in the lobby, 5 men, just...unpleasant. I won't return.

The bathrooms are out dated. They have water rust. They need to be painted .no usb ports. The cover for the key lock was missing on my room and the ac didn’t work.

We paid extra for a pool room. Pool was filled and it was 80⁰ outside but pool isnt opened until may (we were there in late march). Fire alarm went off evacuating the entire horel 3x between 1:30 am and 4am waking us up all night. Also be aware that this is a dog friendly hotel.

Rooms are very clean well appointed and nicely decorated. The pool deck is awesome and a great place to hang out after a long afternoon walking around town. Bar area was our favorite, great for afternoon drinks, with an excellent beer selection. The staff is very professional and friendly, they took time to recommend good spots for dinner, which really helped on our first time visiting.

Everything was great except for the first night when the fire alarm had gone off 3 times due to a malfunction

Comfortable room and great location Seemed understaffed , one person to handle checkin, snack purchases, answer questions… Fire alarm was set off twice (not their fault) due to smoke in garage. 2am and 5 am. We had to wait outside freezing in PJs till Firefighters gave an all clear. Then it happened again at 5 am. Even though it was possibly no one’s fault, none of the staff reached out to acknowledge the guests’ difficulties.

Parking garage was very dirty and very expensive to park in. They need to pressure wash the entire garage. The hotel itself was alright. Room was small, and I think the inside could have been more clean upon arrival. We got chips from the hotel snack bar and when we got to the room we ate them and they were stale, and then we noticed they were expired. The bar was nice but the kitchen was closed the first night we were there. Overall 3/5 experience. I might try another hotel next visit to compare.

My only issue was the same sheets being put back on my bed because I didn’t tell the front desk I needed new sheets. I guess it’s an eco- friendly policy but it was a surprise and made me a little bothered to have to ask for new sheets. Otherwise, great hotel! Great time! Beautiful property !

The hotel is in a great location for visiting Biltmore or for walking to downtown eateries. Check-in was easy as I already had reservations and parking was convenient in the attached garage I could have done away with the $17 per night charge but to have the ease of parking it was fine. I was expecting a somewhat smaller room for a hotel in downtown but it was a great size plenty of room for us 3 friends traveling and our luggage. The room was so clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the Asheville area.

This hotel is pet friendly so if you aren’t a dog person who is okay with dogs barking in the morning this may not be the place for you. We loved seeing all the dogs coming and going. Also beware of the sliding door in the bathroom it is hard to get out of because the door gets caught on the sink . Overall a good place to stay due to location and dining options.

My gosh, did this place exceed my expectations in every way possible. From the privacy of the rooms, rhe mountain vies, and the security I felt staying here in this hotel. The team made me feel like I wasnt there for jist my first Buffy, bur had been staying there for months on end. The bathrooms were shinier than nr cleans bald head aftwer a wet mop polishing. The views wwre so good, I almost bought a pistcard to send to my futur e self for staying at this quiant lift. 11/10 stars. Until next time, stay lifty ny friends

Pool area looked lovely but we couldn’t use it. It was too cold outside in October. The staff were wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice hotel in a great location. We love the fact that the Aloft is very dog friendly, and we chose to stay there specifically for the convenience of the outdoor doggy area that used to be near the pool, but they got rid of it, so that was a big disappointment. Rooms are well designed but getting a bit tired. Really poor quality bedding, non-fitted sheets that don't stay on, lumpy and uncomfortable pillows.... It was okay when a room at the Aloft was around $200 but now that it costs $350+ a night, it is not really acceptable. There are more luxurious hotels in this area in the same price range. All in all, the Aloft is a good hotel but the value for money is just not there anymore.

Hotel staff was nonchalant about informing guests about the room and hallways being carpet cleaned. No information was available outside of a letter stating that the cleaning was to occur on a 1 day notice. Further inquiries were deflected with an answer of "I don't know". Personal effort was required by this guest to exempt our room from the carpet cleaning by seeking an audience with the General Manager. No assistance or follow up by the hotel front desk

The location downtown is perfect! They have a cute wine bar located in the rear of the building. Easy to walk to most places. A few times took the car to farther areas like Biltmore Village, West Asheville and wineries outside of town.The parking garage is very convenient to get in and out of.

Staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. I'd like to give a special shout out to Bethany at the front desk who helped me with an issue that arose due to my using an outside booking company. She was great!

The hotel is beautiful and in a good location with easy parking. When we got to our room there were a lot of crumbs on the window sill and the shampoo in the shower was empty. Our first day there was a fire alarm. When we tried to exit the building there was a homeless man asleep infront of the door which delayed our exit. The second day the landline phone started beeping at 4:30am. The cordless receiver was not charging. I checked all connections and plugs and could not get the beeping to stop. There were a few things that could be approved upon and I really wish I could have given 5 stars.

Loved this Aloft!! Stylish, cool decor and layout, lovely rooftop outdoor pool was a major bonus! Good snack shop/cafe counter, great location and loved the upstairs patio overlooking Biltmore Ave-felt like we were in the best part of town, and we really loved our hotel stay!!

Only negative was the the amenities in the room were not convenient or well thought out. Example: wall plugs not near the bed, older chargers were in the clock so could not use with updated phones. No towel racks in the bathroom or sink areas, lights were very dim in rooms. Bathroom door although was creative and cool was a pain to open and close.

The hotel is clean, modern, smells great, and the staff is amazing. Just - amazing. I'm allergic to down pillows - some of the pillows in our room were down-alternative, but some...weren't. I only checked one (my bad). After a really rough night, when we asked for down-alternative pillows, they brought us a mountain of them. Love this hotel and look forward to staying here again. Just delightful.

Aloft is the best and such an easy walk if you are just visiting Asheville or seeing a show at The Orange Peel.

Nice enough property close to everything downtown. Staff was virtually non existent, the one day we needed room service cleaning they didn't show (we didn't have the "quiet please" sign up). The bar tender didn't seem to know how to make some pretty basic drinks - the bar was empty the whole time while the adjacent hotel bar Moxy? was packed - we likely would try that hotel instead next time. Parking was easy enough, people (the few we talked to at reception) were nice enough - nothing wowing about the place. Nice that dogs are allowed.

I took my mother on a trip to Asheville to see a comic and chose Aloft initially for the price and the view. After staying I realized this hotel may be one of the nicest, friendliest, most accomodating hotels I have ever stayed in. We LOVED it! So clean and comfortable. We will stay here again!!

Amazing Stay ;) I had an issue the day I Checked in with a guy who asked me for Money as I was walking inside to Check in ( I had bags in my hands & My dog on a Leash ) . I told him I had NO cash but he told me well there is an ATM Inside ??Ugh …I ignored him & Went inside . Later on I was at the bar Ordered a drink & Food when I heard someone Saying Hello to me I turned around & Saw it was that same guy ? He sat at the bar next to me & Asked the Bartender for a Glass of Water but I couldn’t tell the bartender what was going on in front of him . I was Very uncomfortable to Say the least l He then Asked the bartender for the bathroom . When he walked Away I told him what happened & That I didn’t feel safe ! Bartender asked him to leave . When I went outside about an hour later to walk my dog he was waiting for me Outside ??I ran back inside the Hotel . As a Solo traveler & A Female I didn’t feel safe . Besides this incident My room was Very clean & I enjoyed my Stay ;)

We looooved this hotel!

The physical hotel is actually quite nice and modern. I will warn you that just about everyone staying there has a dog. And the dogs talk to each other through the walls. The walls are very thin, and so are the windows so you can hear everything going on in the very busy street outside. This includes young men throttling their vehicles at all hours, in some sort of strange show of masculinity. Which makes the dogs bark again. Also, society has evolved to wear people think it’s acceptable to walk through the halls on speakerphone at midnight. And you guessed it, that’ll make the dogs bark. I love dogs, but this was a lot of dogs for a hotel with thin walls. If they figure out how to soundproof it, everything would be much better. The dry bar shampoo and conditioner is amazing. I appreciate the good selection of tea. You can definitely walk everywhere and I got more steps than I normally do. If you’re just going to walk everywhere, pay the city parking rate and you’ll save money. I also want to commend the pool area for being awesome. They probably need more lounge chairs, but it’s a small space. The view is completely worth it regardless.

Bed horrible noise especially from dogs barking for 2 hours straight. Incidental Fees please be aware i have stayed here b4 twice and only had $50 hold not this time lmit was 201.16 say the computer generate it I WILL NOT BE STAYING HERE EVER AGAIN TRIP WAS RUIN FROM THERE ON

I loved staying here. The parking was kind of a nightmare and the cost of the hotel was way pricer than hotels you can get in downtown Los Angeles. The bed was comfy, and the service was absolutely amazing. The rooms are actually spacious (more so than they looked in the pictures) and I couldn’t really hear my neighbors or anything. Easy, convenient, great location.

Location was excellent. Most staff were sweet and delightful. Shower soap and conditioner were empty on arrival. Informed night staff. Informed staff that we sleep late please leave towels and soap by the door if do not disturb sign on door. Despite this housekeeping knocking aggressively at 8:30 am. Not pleasant. Also no microwave in the room. Is this an Asheville thing. I was shocked. I can’t remember staying in a hotel room with out a microwave. Either way. The room was nice. That’s all.

Our room was DIRECTLY next to the pool. The DJ music was so loud, our room was vibrating.

Check in process was quick and easy. Attached public parking garage so left my vehicle there for 23 hrs and it only cost $15 so thankful for that. Room was clean and spacious. Pool was small but large pool deck with cabanas. Stunning mountain views from the pool. Cute little inside bar with live music and good food. Great experience. Would def stay here again.

Nice staff but noisy out side

Perfect for our one night stay traveling through and hitting some breweries. A modern, fun place.

We ended up in a beautiful mountain view room! We'd expected a city view. Check in was seamless, parking in the attached garage was more convenient than anywhere we've ever stayed. There was a neat little snack bar with coffee and simple sandwiches. My coffee wasn't great but my husband liked his. We didn't use the pool but there is access from the third floor. The pool area looked very nice. The room was comfortable and clean. The carpet is a little worn throughout the hotel. It's showing its age a little. But overall a really nice and convenient place to stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We will stay at Aloft Asheville again. This is the perfect hotel if you are seeing a show at the Orange Peel. It's literally steps away.

This is one of the best places to stay in Asheville and I highly recommend Aloft properties in general and Wilmington and Asheville (each end of the state) in particular!

We loved our room and the private cabana we got. It was such a nice surprise. The staff was very friendly, and we definitely will stay here again!

Other than the loud neighbors and hearing vomiting at 2am, and loud city traffic noise in the early morning hours the accommodations were fine.

Front desk staff upon checking in were not helpful or friendly. Terrible experience with bartender. Room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the pool and view from the pool. The guy working at checkout time was super friendly and that was nice after our poor experience with the other staff.

Great hotel! Nice touch to not charge a separate pet fee for bringing along our 4 legged friend.

What we didn’t like is the pool. Not nearly enough lounge chairs. You should get rid of the cabanas on the one side inside the fence and put out more loungers for the regular guests. Also, the pool is a bit small for the number of rooms you have. But, too late to fix that.

Nice location but paying to park in addition to hotel rate is not acceptable.

Very nice hotel clean and modern with great proximity to shops, restaurants and breweries. All staff I spoke with were very friendly and accommodating.

Service is always friendly and the amenities are good. My only suggestion would be that the hotel bar open earlier especially on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. My only complaint would be the noise heard coming from the room next to ours. ( children)

Picked it because the hotel didn’t charge a pet fee and it was centrally located in Asheville. Room was fine but I didn’t care for the small room size nor did I care for the layout.

We loved the location of being right downtown- also a pool- cabanas- and fire pit. Starbucks in the building and a nice bar. Private parking-(at a cost). Beds were nice. Water pressure in the shower could have been a little better- but I have a lot of hair

Very walkable location

My husband and I traveled to Asheville with our dogs to go hiking in the area and enjoy the city. I love the Aloft hotel because it is extremely dog friendly (no pet fee and no designated pet room). The pups always enjoyed the treats at the check-in area. The staff were also very friendly and promptly answered any questions we had. Thank you :)

It’s a great location but it’s loud and the beds are uncomfortable

Wonderful Amenities! My only complaint is not really related to the hotel. But rather the muscle cars, and loud motorcycles that are apparently allowed to come through during evening hours into the night and rev up their engines racing up and down the main road by the hotel. It’s a shame that Asheville PD (who are literally 2blocks away) would put up with it, as it could potentially ruin their city’s tourism industry and reputation. The historical ambience gets ruined by it. But ALOFT - I give 5 stars! Loved it!

We LOVE Aloft Hotels! They are always clean, modern and welcome our dog with open arms. The parking garage fee is a bit on the high side, but it is convenient to the hotel entry. The common areas are a big plus! There are only 2 things that I would like in the room that were not provided: a microwave & a toiletry shelf in the shower. There was no where to put my own products/razor in the shower.

Enjoyed the stay. Clean, quiet, friendly, good location.

My only advice is don't buy the breakfast in advance. They have a counter to order breakfast so you can just order what you want. If you buy in advance you get a one time use $15 credit. If you don't spend it all, the remainder gets wasted. Overspend and you have to pay out of your pocket.

The hotel was nice and quiet. The staff was helpful. We loved that we could have our fur baby with us without any issues. We loved our stay and we will definitely be back!!

Wonderful rooms, chic hotel, and plenty of friendly dogs staying in hotel. Makes one feel almost at home.

I would say this location is one of the best we've experienced. Note however there was no couch or anything but a wooden bench and a desk chair in our room and the water pressure was atrocious. We didn't even complain, we were so happy with everything else it didn't matter to us much. Thanks 🙏
