The grounds were beautifully well kept, the house was clean, and the room was spacious. Nothing comes to mind.

The property was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were unique and welcoming. The staff was very accommodating for a late check in and there was tea and coffee available 24 hours a day. There was a community fridge for out use as well. The breakfast was lacking considering the price for the stay.

An impressive historic house located on the outskirts of Asheville. Although we had booked one of their smaller rooms, they upgraded us to a larger room at no extra charge, simply because it was available. People with mobility issues may have problems accessing the rooms here, since there are no elevators. The breakfast was quite basic and more-or-less do-it-yourself. At this price, one expects something freshly made, whether eggs, omelettes, pancakes, etc.

It was absolutely stunning. Inside and outside felt like I was in an old time movie. It was also very peaceful. We even saw a momma black bear and her cub while sitting on the porch. I wish the breakfast options had avocado and scrambled eggs.

It was super clean and comfortable! Great location near Grove Park Inn. Easy drive to downtown. Friendly staff. Breakfast was a bit of a bummer. Coffee was fresh, but continental breakfast selections were all but depleted half way through the breakfast hour.

Can’t say enough great things about the Albemarle. I look forward to my next trip.

The room was nice but the room location was close to the stairs and the front door and we could hear everyone that went up and down and came in the door. The floor were very creaky so it woke us at night in early in the morning. The breakfast was more of a cold breakfast, granola, yogurt, fruit, boiled eggs, etc. Which was disclosed so that is fine. If you like that sort of thing and are more of a light breakfast person you will enjoy it. We enjoyed our stay but honestly probably won't stay there again.

The staff was wonderful. The room quiet and restful. We were married there 7 years before and it's beauty is still there.

The property was stunning, exactly as pictured! For a few reasons this beautiful property was extremely uncomfortable for us, to start we arrived to an insanely HOT room. We were informed that there was no way to cool the room other than open windows and “a fan in the closet” because the entire home is set to heat so that it isn’t too cool in the evenings. Okay no problem, within 90 minutes of checking in, opening the windows & beginning to unpack we have a knock on our door, it’s the inn keeper telling us we are laughing too loud. It was 5:30 pm for perspective, this was very unwelcoming, we did explain that she could probably hear us because we had all of the windows open as she had instructed us. We started to notice we were the only young people in this bed and breakfast, maybe for a reason. After this we did not expect to be kept up all night by a whining & barking dog across the hall, but we were. I had no idea the property allowed pets but that’s my error, however to make us so uncomfortable over laughing but say nothing all night? It felt very selective. If you are a couple coming perhaps with a dog, this would be a nice place for you, assuming you want to be very quiet for a few days. If you are coming to have fun, this is not the place. No one came to take the trash or offer fresh towels either morning, but there was a small envelope in the room awaiting a tip for the innkeeper, when we checked out a small child was stripping the beds. The property is beautiful, if you are a boisterous laugher book at your own risk.

The only downside was a lackluster breakfast, but for around $150/night for a lovely room in a great location in Asheville, I felt we got a deal. There are plenty of breakfast options nearby.

Beautiful historic property and grounds. Walkable to Asheville downtown. The house is old so the floors creak - you can hear people walking in nearby rooms. It is quiet overall. There are limited onsite food options. I would stay again.

We stayed here for three nights for our anniversary and it was amazing!! The service was exceptional and the food was excellent. They are very attentive to dietary needs. We stayed in the Royal Hideaway room with the jetted tub and it was well worth the extra splurge. The location is very convenient to downtown and to the Biltmore, but still tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The porch sitting area looks out on a beautiful garden area and is so pleasant to spend time sitting to enjoy a glass of wine or just some quiet moments after the chaos of downtown. We would love to come back and stay and can't recommend highly enough.

This was the perfect choice for our 4 day getaway. Everyone was warm and welcoming. The staff were helpful with our dining choices and never failed picking out the best restaurants for pur palettes. I would highly recommend Albemarle.

This is a lovely B&B. Located in an upscale neighborhood with beautiful grounds. It is a few minute drive to downtown. The staff is very welcoming and eager to help. We were able to carry our bags to the third floor however if you have any mobility challenges I would speak with the staff prior to reserving. I’m sure they would be able to help in any way they could.

We absolutely loved it. The house is spectacular. We stayed in the garden room and it was very comfortable. Slept very well. The breakfast was wonderful and we had charcuterie and wine between four and five in the afternoon. so much to do in Asheville!

The inn is a beautiful setting. Our room was quite comfortable. The staff was amazing and very helpful when we had a problem with our car. The breakfasts were very appealing to the eye as well as delicious. My husband is diabetic and was very well accommodated.

My fiancé and I stayed at the Albemarle Inn and loved our time there. The woman at the front desk was kind and helpful with getting us settled. Our room was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was nicely updated and the private balcony was gorgeous and a great place to have a morning coffee. We can't wait to stay here again!

The stay felt more like a home stay as opposed to a typical hotel room. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The B&B property was built in the early 1900’s and is beautiful. My only caveat to the stay would be to ask for a room on the ground floor if you are not physically able to climb stairs. My wife and I had no problem with the stairs to the 3rd level.

The stay felt more like a home stay as opposed to a typical hotel room. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The B&B property was built in the early 1900’s and is beautiful. My only caveat to the stay would be to ask for a room on the ground floor if you are not physically able to climb stairs. My wife and I had no problem with the stairs to the 3rd level.

What a wonderful time we had at the Albemarle Inn. The staff was great and we enjoyed social time with the many guests we met. A big thumbs up to the delicious breakfasts that were so beautifully presented. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful 100 year old B&B with gardens. Loved the veranda and being served breakfast in the cheerful Breakfast room. We stayed in the Garden room which had lots of space. Only suggestion would be to replace the tub with a shower for easier access.

Breakfast was very nice and wine in the evenings was a welcome surprise!! The Inn is a grand old house that has been tastefully modernized. We had a room with a balcony that was very nice!!

It IS in a100 year old house, though. I would have loved to have a shelf or somewhere to set bathroom necessities in the bathroom near the sink and mirror. Food was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

The porch overlooking the garden is so charming and lovely. Definitely worth spending some quality time hanging there throughout the day: in the morning with coffee and a book, in the afternoon/evening with the complimentary wine the B&B offered, and at night when it was dark and listening to the birds and crickets.

Stay was great. Exactly what I was expecting and wanted. Beautiful building and grounds. Only downside couldn’t get the tv to work. Had special requests for breakfast which they listened to as well. Big plus there. Would stay here again.

What a gem! Located near everything yet set in the middle of a quiet residential neighborhood. Beautiful gardens, fantastic breakfast and wine on the back porch! We highly recommend

Cool place if you like these places over hotels. Just not for me. Breakfast was delicious, property was beautiful, just really really old and a little less comfortable than a hotel IMO.

Beautiful old house and very well maintained. We parked our car and rode our bike into downtown Asheville and to the Biltmore.
