The staff was extremely helpful. I loved the gym area, bright and airy. The window blinds in my room did not work properly, and I could not get a blanket because they were out. Shuttle service to Dulles was a huge plus! THANK YOU!!

The front desk staff was so unwelcoming throughout the stay. When we walked up to the reception desk they didn’t even acknowledge us at first as they were busy trying to figure out which room to put us in. They lied about shuttle departure times and were audibly talking negatively about the guest in the lobby after they complained about the missed shuttle.

Pool could use better cleaning.

I took my grandkids for a weekend getaway and they loved the indoor heated pool, in the middle of winter..

My family and I stayed here for one night. I thought the breakfast complimentary when I booked but it is not. It does cost but they free fruit, tea, and coffee. We had a few items from the bar menu that were ok. The pool was very clean for the kids to enjoy. The room was nice and clean. Enjoyed our short stay!

The pillow covers and bed liners were clean. 1.The bathroom door could not be closed. 2.There were no macrowave in the room so I should go down to reach the lobby and use the macrowave of the kitchen for warming up my baby's milk at 5am everyday! 3.The heater made huge sound during the night so I couldn't sleep well

The rooms were clean. I must have overlooked the fact that there wasn’t a microwave provided in the rooms. Additionally the bed seemed lopsided like it wasn’t on the frame appropriately. Otherwise, it was quiet, well maintained with nice amenities to include a Keurig in the room.

The room was clean. I was disappointing in housekeeping that they’re knocking on your door at 9:45 in the morning and your checkouts at 12 waking me up. I didn’t appreciate that.

We have always loved staying with Aloft. Beautiful, Clean and the staff is away great The only thing I could say is I wish it had a better breakfast.

Clean, bright, modern rooms; great amenities; responsive management The only reason I chose this hotel was because it offered airport shuttle service beginning at 6am. On the morning I checked out, shuttle service was unavailable because the shuttle driver had not shown up as scheduled. Fortunately, hotel management was willing to compensate for the cost of an uber.

My only complaint was that there was a group out at the pool until 2 am who were quite loud. Fortuneately I am able to sleep through it.

Shuttle from airport much appreciated!!!!!! Breakfast offering and free coffee were also appreciated. Room was freezing at 65 degrees when I arrived. Way cold Phone in room did not work....?????? Could not connect to Internet.

Friendly staff, nice room. Room was too close to the elevator, so everyone on the floor walked by the room. And some people don't remember there are others in the hotel with them so are not so quiet in the hallways.

Easy to find and close to the airport. Easy to check in and out. Elevator and hallways smelled like smoke. Only light option lit almost the whole room when using the bathroom at night.

Very nice clean hotel. The beds were comfortable, and the layout of the room was nice.

Loved the bar and pool table located in the lobby! Room was great and provided what we needed for the trip. Staff was great as well. Would be a good idea to add an extra pool table to the lobby area. The shower had an echo, so having a conversation was very difficult. Stepping out of the bathroom isn't fun because of the sliding door. Warm air instantly becomes icy cold when you step out.

Desk clerk charged card twice for deposit and laughed after it was pointed out.Other guest were complaining about being over charged and it appeared he took everything lightly. We also were only given one towel and there were two of us when we asked so we could bathe and was told that they( the housekeeper) didn't speak English when we asked for assistance.

The tub faucet had a leak upon entry, annoying!! We would’ve loved a handle on the inside of the bathroom door to close it rather than trying to push it shut. The place felt very clean and the staff was very helpful.

Stayed here for a wedding and thankfully they had a steamer in the room! Loved the mirrored door to the bathroom and the beds were clean and comfortable. Only downside is the A/C vent is right in front of the bed in the double room so set your temperature accordingly lol Great, hospitable staff!

I chose this hotel due to its rating on KAYAK but unfortunately i believe those scores are either outdated or not 100%. The building itself was nice, the room was neat and clean. When it comes to the bed it was awful! It felt like there was a huge dip in the middle as well it was extremely thin with no support. The walls seem thin as well, unfortunately there was crying child in the room next to us that we heard al night. I booked a 2 night stay due to weather conditions in the area. The hallways were very noisy. The $9 breakfast ended at 930am. The ceiling in my room appeared to be being patched as it had round gray circles randomly all around it. The shower had zero pressure and was luke warm at best.

I was in town for business and working late hours. My room was on the first floor close to the lobby. Every morning I was awakened by the lobby music playing. Really could have used that sleep since I was working 18 hour days. Room and hotel was nice. Next time I’ll ask for a room away from the lobby!

The staff at Aloft are amazing! Thanks to the receptionist and to Carlos the bartender for being so friendly. We were stuck near Dulles for the night after our car broke down and they made an emergency stop feel like a vacation. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The hotel is legitimately dog-friendly and kid-friendly.

Their shuttle service is bad. They only come every hour unlike other hotels who were between every 15-30 minutes. My family had to wait an hour since we missed the last shuttle due to bad instructions from the hotel. We missed our planned activities that day. We were not happy.

I was given a remote for the TV. All in all this is a nice hotel but I believe they could correct a few things.

We had a great room and the staff were very accommodating. The only reason we didn't rate it with 5 stars is because the HVAC system was very noisy as well as the refrigerator. We fixed the fridge noise by unplugging it.

My 7 yr old daughter loved the room. The art work on the wall in the bathroom was a unique and creative touch. The staff was very pleasant and may I add very beautiful. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

I had a reservation scheduled 5 days earlier for a king bed and was told sorry none available. This is at 415 pm when check in is either 3 or 4 pm.. when asked what he was going to do about it….He said there’s nothing I can do….sorry…

Paying to park seems excessive given cost to stay. Shuttle is generally great. On this trip we were told upon arrival at the airport and pick up to return to our car, we had to wait for the shuttle. It wouldn’t be leaving until later. Perhaps short staffed or only one shuttle. In retrospect we should have just bummed a ride from the neighboring Hilton shuttle instead of doing what we thought was the right thing to do by asking if we could ride the Hilton Shuttle even though we had stayed at Aloft. The Hilton driver said NOPE they are separate. We ended up using a transportation network instead. You build into the price of a stay these amenities but if quests don’t use them it impacts value of experience.

I absolutely loved this hotel and want to come back. It’s clean, check in was a breeze and the staff was so pleasant and helpful. Beds were 10/10 comfortable and clean and the room was very spacious and beautiful. Just what I needed.

I was disappointed with the weak WiFi and their offer to have good ( normal) WiFi for an extra $5.00). Simple breakfast items in the lobby were overpriced. It left the feeling they were taking advantage of you. Room itself was nice, beds very comfortable.

The room was very modern and comfortable. Definitely staying here again.

They do not clean the rooms daily and you have to ask for towels. No hand soap was provided and when we asked for hand soap they did not have any. There are no signs that state you have to ask for your room to be cleaned and have to request towels. We paid a lot of money and had to do all of the work. I will not return to this hotel.

Very comfortable stay. Nice to have hot tea and snack options in the lobby. I like the different floor plan separating the beds from the restroom.

There were many flying bugs in our room coming from the ceiling. We also saw many dead bugs. It was disgusting and uncomfortable, so we left as soon as possible.
