We had an excellent stay. The check in staff was super - she gave us free parking as we had some long walks to our destination. She also upgraded our room. Not sure it's true but our room was great. Breakfast buffet was a little uninspired but seating, etc was very nice. Overall we had a great experience

We asked for sheets and pillows for the pull out Couch at 8:15 at 10:30 when mu kids finally fell asleep the weren’t there despite 2 phone calls and you also had to sign up for their hotel reward program to use the wifi

Large breakfast options. Waffles, oatmeal, eggs, yogurt just to name a few. Full kitchen in our suite. Large bathroom and comfortable sitting area besides a king sized bedroom.

I checked into a room that had no shower curtain and no bath towels. The front desk personnel did not seem to concerned about it. The room we never served during a 4 night stay even after I requested that it be done on the 3rd day. I might have well stayed at a motel 6

Stayed with my husband and our 3 young boys, ages 8, 4.5, and almost 2. Room was very spacious. Large fridge was very helpful for our 4 night stay. Grubhub delivered quickly everytime. Breakfast was free and pretty good, kids liked the waffles. Pool was a tad chilly but if you went all the way in and under it wasn't so bad. The park across the street was FABULOUS! We went there everyday to get the kids energy out. Well worth the price here.

The only reason I booked this hotel was for the indoor pool, but the pool was closed! There was no notification that the pool was being renovated during booking, no reduction in price either. The hotel room was damaged and seemed outdated. The refrigerator had a large dent. The shower was old, wouldn't completely switch to shower mode and squealed loudly. It was not relaxing. The toilets were very low to the ground, which was strange. We did enjoy the separate bedrooms, living and dining area.

the elevators were very slow and were held together with plywood. I booked this place because it was marked WONDERFUL well it was not .When checking out the clerk had to move so a drywall patcher could patch the wall..that is not wonderful. If a property is under construction and amenities are not available don't charge the regular price because you don't get what you paid for

The hotel is undergoing lots of construction. Loud banging in the lobby, paint fumes and lots of terrible smells. The hotels.com policy requires they disclose construction but there were no indications on the website that the hotel was being renovated. The are violating their own policy. I notified hotels.com customer service and was told its not their problem. Very bad,

The hotel is within walking distance to where I needed to go for work. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. Even though the hotel is located next to a busy street, I didn't hear any noise from outside. There was no light in the shower area of the bathroom, it made it very dark in there.

Stayed on 11th floor. HVAC on roof was incredibly loud. Not sure if it was because it was cold and snowing but it kept us up all night.

The hotel was under renovation. We were given a room on a newly renovated floor. There was a strong smell of paint and new carpet, causing allergies. The soap dispenser didn't work. Not much hot vegetarian choices for breakfast. Elevators took long time as one of the two elevators was being used by the workers doing the renovation....

Excellent location and wonderful front desk staff, especially the evening gentleman who was super friendly and helpful. Our room was great, the one bedroom suite was big and having the kitchen was very nice and spacious.

The room was clean, staff was extremely friendly. They had two different times to come to our rooms to drop off items that we needed. The front desk was super helpful. Only issue we didn't have housekeeping, clean the room, our choice, we did run out of toilet paper and it took a while to get a new role because housekeeping is not on site overnight. They just need to keep some in the office. Other than that all good.

It was ok. The rooms were a bit dated and could use a refresh. Our chairs and tears. Bed was slanted. The pull out couch was pretty rough. You could feel the springs through the mattress on the couch. All in all, I've stayed in worse but it wasn't great, which is surprising for a Marriott.

The hotel did NOT clean the room after the first day we stayed, therefore the second night we had to clean the room ourselves. Breakfast is great, workers at the dining room are very helpful

My children had an amazing time. So clean , close to stores and entertainment. Playground for kids across the way absolutely loved it I have nothing bad to say

Very close to everything Staff is rude, specially during breakfast. You’re expecting a quiet environment and they stay standing by the tables speaking Spanish extremely loud. Also, why isn’t there pancakes every day anymore, that was a bummer, my kids love the pancakes and they only have during the weekend now.

$35.00 a night parking, a little high

Room is very clean and comfortable. It has a lot of amenities and it is perfect for a longer stay or for a short stay with higher expectations. Nothing you can fix, the views were meh.

Breakfast was good, we really enjoy having it every morning. Location was very good, close to playground and other attractions. Very easy to check in and check out. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room size was good, but the fridge was making some noise. Kitchen equipment wasn't clean. I would use them at all. No housekeeping, we have to do our bed and minor cleaning and request extra towels. Location was very good, close to the playground and other attractions.

All the doors were locked at 3am. Totally understandable but it was hard to figure out how to get in until an employee saw us and opened a door.

After booking our suite in Oct '24 and confirming it (and the availability of a kitchen to cook for our food-allergy kid) in Dec. '25, we received an EMAIL on the MORNING OF our check-in (May 23) that they had double-booked (blamed Expedia) and could not give us that suite. Thankfully, I saw the email and called them. They offered us an acceptable alternative (two rooms, but nearby and with a full kitchen), which we took, only to receive a call a few hours later (30 minutes before we were leaving on the 7.5 hour drive to D.C.) This time they told us that their "sales department" wouldn't give us those accommodations either, and offered us two separate rooms without the kitchen space/amenities needed, and assured me that they were doing us a "favor" by moving things around so that we could stay there in spite of the error. By the grace of God we found another hotel with the proper amenities and enough beds, but that was difficult on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. Their blunder could've really ruined a long-planned trip. I then couldn't get them to confirm the refund (they kept stating that it was a busy Friday and they didn't have time to deal with that right then, but it would get taken care of), so I had to call Expedia and they made that happen for us. I wouldn't trust this hotel to be organized enough to guarantee you a room (even when it's been paid for months ahead AND confirmed on the phone with Marriott). It was an absolute mess.

Good breakfast, convenient parking, comfortable and clean rooms. The sleeper sofa was quite comfortable with a memory foam mattress which was a plus for us.

The hotel was clean. The continental breakfast was not satisfactory. It was open until 9:30. We arrived at 8:45 and many things were out and not restocked. My husband asked for cereal. While making waffles they were taking away the batter. When asked to keep it available, they poured it hastily for him and then removed. They then proceeded to lie to the next young man who inquired at 9:15 for the batter and said it was out. The breakfast was cleaned up by 9:15. For the price you pay, this experience should not be happening.

Great breakfast. Clean. City view has a great view of the Washington Monument and Capitol building (from afar), which was an excellent surprise. Friendly staff. Only wish they had a hot tub and longer pool hours. We never made it back in time from sightseeing to use the pool (closed at 9 pm).

Overall my two day stay was excellent. The morning breakfast was very nice with a good variety of foods. My only complaint is parking is over $30/day and I found my parking pass card did not work in the electronic gate reader the morning of my second day which required having to back my car out of the entry to the underground parking and park my car outside the hotel and return to the front desk to get a new one. An inconvenience but not a big issue. The staff throughout the hotel is very pleasant.

This was an amazing stay! Immediately the staff were so welcoming and kind. Breakfast was amazing! The parking option was great, we came and went as we pleased! It was walking distance from a few really great gems! Thank you, we will definitely be staying again!

This visit was markedly less pleasant than previous ones. Service desk was not adequately staffed, long waits for service while a large group was checked in one day and a long telephone conversation with a customer on the other day. Once service manager turned to me he was professional and helpful. I had to call attention to a mishap with a dog defecating in the doorway which the service manager did not notice because he was so busy. When we got to our room the light in the bathroom was out. Service manager got someone to fix it fast. In the morning there was no consistent hot water in shower...ended up taking cold shower. Not what you expect in a Residence Inn., We appreciated being moved to another room but it was markedly smaller than the one we had been in.

Great location and good sized rooms. Our particular unit seemed more outdated than others and bathtub/shower wasn’t as clean as it could be. Beds and kitchen were great though. One of us also stepped on a shard of broken glass on the carpet. Breakfast was fine with some variation every day. Parking directly under hotel was a little pricy but worth it for convenience. All the staff we interacted either were friendly and helpful. The biggest downside was the sofa which was not comfortable at all and super noisy anytime someone sat down. Not good enough to use as a bed imo

We stayed at Residence Inn Arlington Ballston for 3 nights. We like its very much, almost everything, including its breakfast.

Wonderful location and great staff. Would have loved more attentive turn down/cleaning services. Had to also get the dolly independently anytime. Otherwise, complimentary breakfast was great and pool was nice (when not crowded).

Breakfast options should improve, lacks variety, good taste and presentation.

Breakfast was only fair. No fresh fruit. Cold food in steam trays.

Just very quiet and clean.

I also enjoy a stay where breakfast is included.

Great way to celebrate my Valentines Day. Suite had full kitchen, plus very Modern and classy. I will definitely stay there whenever I visit Arlington.

Rooms are convenient and the area felt safe. The breakfast was awful: they ran out of the food, dishes, and the food was not tasty.

The TV didnt not work in the first room we went to. After 30 minutes of the Engineer trying to connect it we asked for another room. We were given another room, 3 floors higher so I was happy with that. But I could never get the Wifi to connect to my phone and the cell reception inside the hotel is terrible. All in all not a bad place, but for a Marriott hotel I expect more.

Comfortable beds, easy parking under the hotel.
