    Stayed for a weekend with friends traveling from Florida. Property was very clean, rooms were spacious, and we really liked the lounge with the view up top. It was a great experience. We will probably be back!

    Unbelievably terrible very old smelly and oily. Nobody can stay in there. I could not believe that Doubletree hotel keeps such garbage room and for what type of customers. I went down to front desk right way and asked for a different room if not I will take a legal action.they gave me a different one it was slightly better my wife and my kids told me to let spend couple nights and get out there. definitively I will not recommend Doubletree to anyone.

    The staff were very friendly and willing to assist. The bell hops very courteous and helpful. Our stay was over a holiday period and due to the crowds wait times were long at times for the elevators. The food we ate was good and for its location reasonable priced.

    Perfectly adequate room for a traveler who was stranded at the airport and suddenly needed a place to stay for one night. Close to the airport, the airport shuttle was very convenient. Room was clean but I spotted some staining on the wallpaper in the bathroom. Towels are clean and shower was hot, pretty much all I needed. Wifi wasn't free, but I didn't really need that because I barely had enough time to sleep. The room was dark with curtains drawn and quiet so it was really good for sleep.

    I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The food wasn’t that great, although the bartender was nice and the drinks were good. There was no microwave in the room. If you wanted to warm up your food, you had to go all the way down to the lobby. I was charged $2 for a cup of hot water, and they didn’t even have the TLC TV channel. They also do not have a pool. For the amount of money I paid per night, I expected a much better experience.

    The staff was kind, friendly, professional, and helpful. The room was clean and stocked well. The bathroom does not have a ventilation system beyond opening the bathroom door. Housekeeping was wonderful! The views are beautiful as well. The pillows do get pretty flat very quickly, so you may want to request more pillows if you need to sleep elevated. I would definitely book here again.

    Room was nice, escalators broken or completely missing. I can get passed all that. What I can't get passed, is the idea that you make people wait in line to sit near the window in your restaurant. You're in the hospitality business. If it's my anniversary I would have received a much nicer experience at an Olive Garden. That's sad. Hilton you have work to do at this location.

    Hotel was conveniently located and in a great neighborhood. Lots of easy walking to restaurants. Rooms were a good size and clean. The hotel staff was welcoming and friendly. We had a little trouble with key card for parking deck - but the young man (John, i believe) was very helpful it settled right for us. Will definately stay there again.

    I would like to shout out the young man name John on the shift when we arrived on the afternoon of April 17th. He worked wonders to make sure our small group was accommodated really great. He had the best personality and smiled the whole time he was helping us! If more staff members had his personality everyone would be happy to stay at hotels! Just love this young man!

    Overall will recommend to others, just a few points to mention. No stationary or pens in the room, no complimentary water daily, no Bible in the room, ice machine was broken on our floor, towels were hard and nubbly, cafe and gift shop over priced and pillows too soft. Bar food delicious, staff helpful, airport shuttle helpful, clean and good location to public transportation. AC was good.

    We had a lovely time at the Double Tree. The room was comfortable. We enjoyed the Skydome and the Breakfast in the dining room. The only thing that would have made our stay better would’ve been better directions - possibly a short direction sheet on hotel amenities, particularly parking validation.

    In addition to various issues, I tripped and injured my knee on poorly maintained and loose carpet near the 11th floor elevator lobby. I reported it to the manager and was asked to fill out a form. There was zero care or concern. They didn’t so much as offer an ice pack. They’ll be receiving medical bills and can fight my insurance company over it.

    The staff was very nice at check-in. The location is nice and there are restaurants/Whole Foods near by. There was a little shop downstairs where you could buy fruit and necessities. Overall the hotel was nice. The bathroom was cleaned okay but you could tell it needed a deep clean. There was so much dust and grime in the vents and no fan in the shower. The bathroom got very humid and there looked to be mold on the ceiling. The most irritating part though was the pillows. They were the most uncomfortable pillows I’ve ever slept on in my life. They were completely flat and gave me neck pain. There’s also no cleaning service on Sunday.

    The room was very hot and we called down to get someone to take a look as the thermostat would not work.They sent someone up about 2 hours after the call but we had to leave for the venue. There is water damage all over the ceiling and walls. The elevators work intermittently and the parking is atrocious. Check in was a cluster and we ended up leaving after the concert we attended around midnight to stay at a nicer hotel.

    The room felt like it was set aside for emergencies only, did not feel Iike a 4 star hotel at all. The wall paper in the bathroom was peeling off, the hot water kept going on us while showering, and the heater was making the loudest rattling noise while we were trying to sleep. This was supposed to be our “rest stop” after driving for 6 hours with two toddlers. Definitely not the rest we were expecting. Very disappointed.

    Has a very bad experience with the hotel shuttle service. Driver did not register the vehicle in time so it couldn't be tracked. Waited outside in the cold and headed back for my partner for a couple mins and the shuttle came and instantly left. Staff was unresponsive and unhelpful throughout.

    Super safe and walkable area. Tons of nice restaurants and 2 whole foods markets around the area all within one block. Nice bars to watch a game and get a drink.     Check-in was smooth, and the first evening was pleasant. The following morning, however, the hallway was filled with leftover party decorations that were not removed by housekeeping until the next day, despite staff walking past multiple times. This gave the impression that cleanliness and attention to detail were not a priority. Later in my stay, I requested additional towels that were never delivered—even after personally speaking with the front desk. Upon checkout, the front desk associate did not inquire about my stay or offer any closing acknowledgment, which left me feeling unappreciated as a guest. While there were some positive aspects of my visit, these service lapses and missed opportunities for hospitality diminished the overall experience. I hope this feedback can be used constructively to ensure future guests receive the attentive and welcoming service the DoubleTree brand is known for.

    For how much you spend here (as well as being considered a 4 star hotel), the rooms were not well kept. As I walked into my room and went into the bathroom, I saw a dried up bloody towel on my counter. It made me feel like the room hasn't been cleaned nor touched in a bit. When I asked for someone to come pick up the towel, I was given a lot of excuses as to what is on the towel. The house cleaning supervisor was trying to tell me it's ketchup and I was trying to tell her it shouldn't have been here in the first place. I also had trouble with one of the tvs in the room. Another person came up to help, but this time with an attitude. he kept asking me "where is this bloody towel" as if I was making up the story. I told him someone already picked it up before. The curtains were also ripped off from their bar. For a one bedroom suite, you would expect something better than this. The front desk employees were cordial, but the rest of the people that worked there seemed extremely stand-offish and at other times, downright rude. It's a shame because this hotel has some great history for our area especially with the hotel having the skydome. My advice is eat at the skydome, but maybe stay somewhere else. I live in the area and when people come into town, I'm not sure I'd tell them to stay there.

    The next morning I noted outside that, in addition to all that I noted to be a huge safety risk INSIDE the revolving club (which also includes confusing locked out elevator changes that are unsafe and clearly designed to disorient the patron to and from “the club”) the actual club itself is clearly tilting as though it is about to topple when you view it from ground level. I doubt management cares as all staff seemed trained to ignore both the property as a whole as well as most patrons. My visit was around Labor Day 2025…it was sad to see such a once regal building and club fall into utter disrepair.

    I booked this room as the hotel partnered with the Marine Corps Marathon. It was sold as the closest and most convenient hotel to the race start line. It was a 2 mile walk to the start line and over a 4 mile walk from the finish line. The room I originally booked through the MCM link charged me over $1600 for 3 nights, luckily I happened to be checking prices and noticed I could cancel that reservation and make another one through Expedia and it saved me $600. The cost of the room and parking for the 3 nights still totaled around $1,200. For that price I expected a 5 star hotel with all the amenities. That is absolutely not the case. The hotel is average at best, there was no complimentary breakfast, which even cheaper hotels offer, no complimentary parking, no shuttling of the runners to and from the race even though the hotel has plenty of shuttles available. The room itself was nothing other than a basic room with limited comforts. There was not even a microwave in the rooms. As someone that came into specifically run the race, I brought my own food with me, but had to go down to the lobby to use the community microwave. The room had a king bed that was comfortable, a pullout sofa bed that was like laying on a pile of springs, stains in the carpet, stains on the ceiling, torn curtains, and overall was subpar. For the price, a guest should not have to want for anything.

Finally got served only to be told that our room wasn't ready. I corrected them and told them after having to queue for so long they might want to reconsider that statement. Shocked, they found us another room!

    The airport shuttle service was excellent! It was punctual, comfortable, and made our arrival and departure completely stress-free. The driver was professional and friendly, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommended!

    The employee on duty when I checked in was amazing. My flights have been changed several times resulting in me having to leave 15 hours later than planned. She immediately offered me a late check out so that I wouldn’t have to wander around DC. My room was clean, incredibly comfortable, and despite a rather large conference being held at the hotel, I heard absolutely no noise. Wonderful stay. Oh, and I had no idea I was essentially next-door to the Pentagon.

    Front desk staff was good. Our room temperature was at 78 and we could not change it. Had to get someone from engineering to fix it. We had no hot water the next morning. We ate dinner at the Skydome. The view was great but not the service. Our server acted as though he did not want to wait on us. The hostess took our drink order and brought them to us. We had to wait 20 minutes to give our food order, then another 40 to get the food. Our steak and burger were both room temperature at best. We were never asked if we wanted another drink.

    I was very unhappy with my stay. I got there at 2 am and there was blood on the wall, bugs in the room, dirty floor and walls, ripped curtains. As soon as morning came we checked out and went to a different hotel. They told me I needed to contact Expedia for a refund and it doesn’t look like I can get my money back for the 1 night I didn’t stay.

    Overall a nice stay. Front desk and restaurant customer service was great. Friendly and accommodating. Food was good. The furnishings and bathroom needs updating but that’s ok. But the carpet was in bad condition. It needs cleaning terribly.

    Communicarion is very poor, i was not told at check in that the street will be closed off from 5 to 8 on 9/8. We could not get into the hotel woth uber. There were no cookies at check in or when i asked again at check out. There was almost no toilet paper on the roll and no extra in bathroom, i noticed too late at night to call for more.

    Parking garage is very grungy looking tight spaces and charges $51 per day. Dont count on the Bar, breakfast dining or any room service. They were all closed the whole time on my visit. Only in house dining option is the skydome for dinner and u need a reservation. The little market for snacks doesnt stay stocked so theres limited thing to choose there. Also the elevators get stuck and when you press the emergency call button it does nothing so take the stairs. Definitely spend a little more money and stay elsewhere. Youll thank me later

    Never received a cookie. Sounds crazy, I know but everyone kept saying try a cookie, but they didn’t have any. Staff was good, but not overly friendly. Rooms were clean, but had an odd smell. The scent in the lobby was fabulous.

    This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Let me be clear: this review is only for the North Tower, but it was bad enough that I will never stay here again. When I checked into my first room on the 10th floor Friday night, I was disgusted. The bathroom was filthy — stains in the sink and tub that looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned in ages. I immediately took photos and went back to the front desk. Thankfully, John (front desk) was professional and apologetic, and quickly worked to move me to another room. He offered complimentary garage parking (useless since my car was fine on the street), but did give me breakfast vouchers as an apology. The new room on the 12th floor looked better at first glance, but the shower drain was so slow that I ended up standing in inches of dirty water every time I showered. Absolutely disgusting — I had to rewash my feet after every shower. As if that wasn’t enough, the elevators were painfully slow. Since I had business on the 14th floor, I tried taking the stairs. That was somehow worse — the stairwells were crawling with huge roaches. I reported it to the front desk immediately, but by the time I left Sunday, they were still there. Between the dirty bathrooms, broken plumbing, useless elevators, and cockroach-infested stairwells, this place is completely unacceptable.     First they had record of my reservation!!!! Had to wait for an hour for them to find it. Then wanted me to pay an extra 200$ for insurance which I had no idea about. Once they found it, they gave me my key. The next day my room was locked and we couldn’t get in. Went to the front desk and they said they locked it because they had no card on file because for insurance. Felt embarrassed because security had to walk me up to unlock my door even after we paid the extra money. I won’t use Expedia again or doubletree again. Was there for military purposes and didn’t not enjoy my stay at all. Thank yoy

    Only stayed about 6-7 hours due to canceled flight. I was surprised by how rough the sheets were. My daughter commented she felt like there were bugs on her. It’s been well over 24 hours so don’t worry no bed bugs but it was odd how many times I thought these sheets are really rough while trying to fall asleep - maybe it was new set.

    This hotel was extremely disappointing, especially for the price. Not up to Hilton standards at all. The bathroom needed repairs, the carpet old and faded. The lighting dim, nothing updated about it. Tiny tiny bathroom in need of remodeling. Would never stay behind n a Doubletree again.

    This stay was terrible for us. We specially picked this hotel because we were under the assumption there was a pool as well as laundry services. However we were disappointed for sure. To start they charged 100$ extra a night for security deposit which wouldn't be refunded until after we checked out for 3-4 business days. On top of that the parking garage for the hotel was an extra 51$ a night. So don't be mistaken by the online pricing. Our room was damp/ humid, the light from the bathroom shower was hanging out of the ceiling by a foot, the pool was completely EMPTY and closed! This was terribly disappointing as I was staying with my kids there for multiple nights. We really needed to do laundry which was another reason we chose this property. However the laundry was across the street from the front entrance- and the quarter machine did not work. We asked for quarters in the hotel and they had none and told us to walk to Whole Foods to get some. So we did, and then one of the dryers was broken so we had to wait for other people to finish to dry our clothes. All in all this was a stressful and not pleasant experience for us. We will not be staying at a doubletree again.

    Elevators need service, no coffee in the lobby, we did not receive a goody bag with waters and snacks. No pool, the skyline I’m sure is amazing to see , BUT the menu is NOT family friendly and outrageously expensive. Escalators were out of order. Access to the outside is limited to parking garage area. Construction around hotel, had issues with air conditioner not working on check out and had to move rooms. Elevators and hallways uncomfortably hot. Maid service however is excellent for rooms.all in all I do not recommend, and would not stay there again.

    The hotel is close to DCA Airport and has a shuttle. The rooms are old. Upon arrival at the lobby, there aren't enough carts to carry luggage. There weren't enough carts in the parking lot to carry luggage. The bartenders at the restaurant were very friendly. The salmon was delicious. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

    Booking was simple and easy on-line. Even during a very busy 4th of July weekend all questions were answered with patience and friendly service. The room was comfortable. Parking was available in the garage once the fireworks ended later that evening which worked out great. Looking forward to experiencing the rooftop restaurant with the views we my husband and I return.

    Once heading in to check in, the whole hotel smelled like weed. The up escalator did not work. There was no governance on the parking garage and there was trash everywhere. Our room was falling apart, with broken and splintered cabinets, and all holders were wobbly or falling out of the wall.

    Booked a presidential suite for my daughter and son in-law for the honeymoon. Dirty hand towel in between the curtains going to the terrace as well as a dirty glass under the couch. No robes. Definitely was NOT presidential!

    Terrible experience! When we arrived to the hotel for our check in they told us the room we had reset was taken and they gave us a double bed room for the same price ! Not just that but the receptionist has the nerve to ask us if we want a high level or lower level room and the highest they had was 4th floor ! Like i think that when we pay for the reservation it should now show up as available on their system ! NEVER AGAIN STAYING AT THIS PLACE !

    The check in Night Customer Service was poor.The Agent(black agent), spelled my name incorrectly and told me I did not have a reservation. I had given him the information from Orbit(third party) that clearly showed I had a reservation, but he look at me as if he wanted me to go away. He treated the white customers well, but as soon as he saw me(I am black), he became very rigid and stern. Finally, Parking Level II wreaked with urine; and dirty laundry was in the hanging out of the containers.

    My room was not as clean as anticipated. The widows were dirty and the carpet was raising from the floor. We had to ask for additional seating for the indoor and outdoor area. We received a table for the oudoor chairs but no additional seating for the living area. We paid for overnight parking and had to circle the parking garage for over 45min. To find a parking space. I was definitely disappointed in the experience at this hotel. Room updates are definitely need and more quality control inspections on the whole facility. The only plus was the view.

    Great location! I arrived around 2pm. I read a review where someone said the parking garage filled up quickly so I got there early to avoid that. Upon checking in, I was given a cute little Hilton paper bag with two bottled waters and a DoubleTree warm chocolate chip cooke. Delicious! The water was much appreciated as there was a heat advisory this weekend. The hotel room itself was nice and clean although there was some dust floating around. The bathroom is a bit small. But the staff was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great! There's a WholeFoods right around the corner, and Pentagon City Mall and the metro station are about 4 blocks away. Overall a great hotel. I'll stay there again.

    This experience was so bad I did not even get through check in. The hotel entrance is dangerously situated and confusing. There is no place to unload. There is no parking. The check in is on the second floor and the hotel staff are nowhere to be found. In one word, horrible.

    We enjoyed the amenities on the lobby level such as restaurant, convenience store and cafe. However, the restaurant was incredibly overpriced and the coffee shop didn’t open until 9 am. The Disney store at the hotel had the same merchandise as was in the parks which was convenient. Our room was definitely tired from overuse - scuffs on walls and furniture- but the beds made up for it in comfort (firm but luxurious) with feather pillows. We were on the family happy magic floor which may be the reason the rooms felt tired.
