It's proximity to Washington DC and our relatives home. I had forgotten my purse in the room the day we went into DC and it was there untouched in the room when we returned that night. Very limited breakfast offerings. Very small breakfast area. Both nights we were there people gathered outside our hotel room and socialized till late. The area was questionable. I being female would not have walked outside by myself.

TV, Fridge and Microwave were dead the whole stay. Shower drain was clogged and it looked like someone punched a hole in the bathroom door. Beds were cheap and loudly springy. Breakfast consisted of a loaf of cheap bread and two kinds of cereal with a juice machine.

The bathtub is clogged and you have to stand in a couple of inches of water while showering, it's gross! They lie when they say breakfast is included. The breakfast was one bag of wheat bread one bag of white bread and a toaster. Hot chocolate, and oatmeal envelopes with nowhere to get hot water for it, and the parang juice was 90% water. I tried to cancel as soon as I walked in and booking.com gives you the facilities phone number and the same ladie that answered was the one that says that I have to call booking.com NEVER AGAIN.

This hotel is the type of place you only spend one night. The bathroom was dirty and smelled of marijuana. But the staff was nice and even came running to return a valuable that we forgot. The refrigerator had a sticky goo all over the door so you had to wash your hands every time you opened it. And the cereal at breakfast was stale and the bread was expired. And that was about all they had. No hot food and only packaged fruit. The beds were decently comfortable.

Convenient location in Arlington close to bus stop where you could connect to metro that took you in to Washington DC. Good breakfast choices. I moved rooms in my 1st night in middle of night (2.30 am)as people in room next door were making so much noise inc loud shouting and running of bath. Night staff chap managed to sort this and once in other room no further issues.

Very close to the A40 bus stop and lots of fast food places.

The service was very good. The breakfast was fine—though having the exact same thing every day eventually became tiresome—but a hot cup of tea in the morning is always a blessing. The room cleaning was excellent, and the "Latino" staff members provided outstanding service. The downside was that, at night, we spotted some unwelcome critters in the parking lot—though we know those can be found everywhere... even at the White House.

I believe I was scammed and deserve a full refund or credit on Hotels.com Stop listing this hotel it is wrong!

Room was clean but one of the two mattresses was not in good condition. I was unable to reach staff to checkout- left keys in door crack. Not the best area of town but many food places in walking distance.

Be aware the door for each rooms that I purchases as well my guest the door were not tight enough and a lot of noisy envirmonet. The rooms are not tidy, we can see the wires and my room has a tub with messy rusty drainage.

While the room was neat and clean and no issues with parking for safety, the room overall was poor. This hotel is a very old building and I was surprised by the condition being a Wyndham. The elevator was broken and so was the ice machine. The breakfast was very basic, cereal, toast, oatmeal, juice and coffee (no flavored creamer). We booked the hotel basically for sleeping as we were out and about during the day, if we were spending more time in the hotel, I wouldn't suggest this one. Perk was the price and free parking. The hotel seems like it's not in a very good part of town, but we never felt unsafe and everyone we talked to was very nice and helpful.

My room was infested with bugs. I saw the bigger bugs on the pillow and killed them (6 bugs) but the bedding was full of bed bugs and in the morning I had big bug bites all over the left side of my neck and face, ankles and hands. Any exposed skin has bites all over it. Now I’m afraid they’re in my clothes snd probably my suitcase.

The full breakfast was merely cereal n toast. The orange juice seemed more like water with a little orange juice added. They only had 2% milk. No fresh fruit or pastries

Out room was very clean and I could tell the floors and beds were new. Very comfortable beds with extra pillows. The TV was old and remote control fell apart while we were there. Parking was very convenient. The breakfast could be better; it was just a continental breakfast:!cold cereal, fruit and terrible coffee.

Perfect location for our visit to Arlington Cemetery. Very dated hotel that could with some love,care and attention to bring up to a decent standard. But everything served its purpose. Staff were pleasant enough but the check-in process seemed archaic and long-winded; took way longer than it needed to. Would I stay again? Possibly, if it was a lot cheaper….

When I checked in, the clerk asked me if I was ok with stairs. I said yes, thinking I would only have one flight to walk up. Nope, I was on the third floor. I am elderly and I had a backpack and suitcase. The stairs were narrow and I had to go one step at a time. It took time and energy to get to the third floor. I found out the next morning that the elevators have been broken for quite some time and they don't know when they'll be fixed. I arrived there approximately 8 pm. The room was clean and roomy. It is not fancy at all and looks aged but everything worked. I did not find an ice machine and the vending machine would not take my money so I had to drink water from the faucet. There was hammering and banging going on when I arrived. At 9:30 pm I called the front desk and asked how long the construction would be going on. He initially said about another 30 minutes and then said he would talk to them. The banging stopped. The bed was soft but I didn't mind that. I was there for one night.

The overall experience wasn't the worst ever, but the pictures online were in no way close to what the property looked like. The bathroom had very visible mold in various areas and was dusty, and fortunately I brought my own soap and shampoo because the bathroom had neither. I showered while standing on a towel because I did not want my bare feet touching the tub. The toilet paper roll fell off of the wall the first time I reached for some toilet paper, and there were multiple obvious holes in the wall where it had attempted to be screwed in at other spots. The room had no electrical outlets. The desk lamp had to be unplugged in order to plug the TV in. There was a floor lamp in the corner of the room, but there was no outlet to plug it into- so it was purely a decorative lamp. The comforter had a dark stain on it. I also had to put a towel down behind the main door of the room because it did not reach all the way to the floor- so I needed to block out not only the light from outside but also a possible entry point for bugs and nosey neighbors. Speaking of neighbors, the other guests drank outside with their room doors open and played music loudly until late into the night. I was in town for a multi-day conference, and in retrospect I should have paid more to stay at the conference location.

A Bunch of Gas Stations/ Restaurants/ Take outs in walkable reach. Room was Clean. It has Blow Dryer, Small Coffe Maker, Microwave and Fridge in Room. Soap and Shampoo. Air and Heater Combo. Nice TV. Staff was Professional. Coffee and Tee in Reception area. The surounding Areas are Blue Color to Poor Workforce showing bad Affordability situation. Still Safe. Over all for the Money it was more then expected.

The flimsy and unsupportive mattresses, minimal choices for breakfast, just bread and coffee,juice, milk, instant oatmeal, and fruit cup. Area did not feel safe. Homeless people on nearby benches, peeing and undressing in public.

The elevator was out of order. The TV in my room had so much static I couldn’t watch it. I told the manager about the TV but he wasn’t able to do anything about it. I will not stay here again.

Kind of a dump but really convenient access to DC. You enter your room from the outside, not via lobby/hallway, which I don’t love. I wouldn’t spend a ton of time here or book it for college graduation weekend. But for a single night stay, it works ok.

I’m 81 and require a cane to traipse here and there. I cannot say anything positive about the room. It was not clean. The snow was not removed from the parking lot. I had to wade through it to get to my rides every day. It is not handicap-friendly. There’s a four- or five-inch rise from the walkway in front of the door to get into the room. If one isn’t alert, s/he will trip on it and land face-down in the room. The room’s lighting is atrocious. The appliances are of dubious value and use. There is no valid, detectable relationship/connection between the online pictures of the rooms the motel claims to offer and the room I got. I’ve lived in and traveled throughout Europe and the Far East during my life from the early 70s until the late 90s as a Department of the Army bureaucrat. With that experience, I think my use of the term “bait-and-switch swindle” would be deemed justified by all intelligent, educated, experienced, rational disinterested people. The toilet ran. I had to renew my electronic key twice to maintain access to my room. Some electric outlets worked and some didn't or worked only occasionally. Drunks and panhandlers routinely met in the space outside my room and a bit farther on (farther from the motel’s office) in the wee small hours. Before I left, I made an extensive list of the room’s drawbacks and shortcomings, but, because I’ve been hospitalized recently and am still in recovery, I haven’t access to those notes, much less knowledge of thei

Room was clean however if I needed more towels I would have to go to the front desk to get them . I booked a room with four people and only got 2 towels each time, other than that , the location was convenient close to the monuments , airport and lots of food options close by.

There are some good restaurants around, so that's a plus. The rooms are not terrible, there aren't any bed bugs, I think I saw one roach, and it only appeared once during the time I was at the hotel. For the price, this place is actually pretty good.

Room was fine, even though I couldn’t pay for a single bed. AC worked well, but the roll to hold the toilet paper was falling apart and the hook for the towels behind the door fell off completely. It was relatively cheap and close to the sights I wanted to see but the building can definitely use some much needed maintenance and repairs.

The room was spacious & clean, and it was clear that the rooms have recently undergone a light renovation, as our room looked more modern than the pictures shown online. We did not see ANY pests, as other prior guests reported they saw, thank goodness! The staff was friendly, and the free continental breakfast was sufficient (oatmeal, toast, coffee, tea). Our only issue was the very strong water pressure from the sink, took some getting used to (the water shoots out!). The hotel is across the street from a McDonalds and Subway for easy fast food eats, and a short walk to Walgreens, should you need anything during your stay. This hotel, especially for the cost of staying here, really is not bad at all.

The room was really nice. We were treated very well from the staff. I am still a little bothered that they charged my credit card, when they were supposed to charge our company credit card. I still have to work that out now with my company admin.

Room was overall clean, the lighting/ amount of lighting could have been better. One light for the entire room was not enough. The beds weren't the best but I guess thats what you get for a cheep hotel. Check out is posted as 12pm but, the cleaning staff tried to come into the room around 11:15 and was upset that I was still in the room. I told them I was planning to leave at 12 and they sent someone else over to talk to me.

They may change the sheets and towels, and they may not. If you miss the 10am room cleaning you miss out. THe elevator didn't work. The room was spartan. The walls need soundproofing. I could go on

Very nice hotels. Rooms clean, staff very friendly. Breakfast adequate. Bit noisy but near main road. Only criticism is metal prongs left sticking out of bed could be hazardous. We used our towels to wrap them up and make safe.

Unfortunately, we didn't have a good impression of this hotel. When we arrived, we weren't told the breakfast time or the hotel's Wi-Fi password (we thought it would be in the room, but it wasn't). One of the rooms we booked (we booked two identical rooms) was for three people, but there were only two towels. We had to go back to reception to request all the above. The hotel website said the room had two queen-size beds, but in reality, there were two full-size beds (in both rooms). In one of the rooms, the bedding smelled very bad, as if it hadn't been washed. That night, we noticed cockroaches in the bathroom (in both rooms). We knew the breakfast was a continental breakfast, but it only included coffee, milk, bread, butter, jam, and cereal (no eggs, yogurt, fruit, etc., like other hotels with continental breakfast). We don't recommend it, as it wasn't a very cheap hotel.

My gf and I checked in close to midnight. We were put in a room that was very clearly not ready for guests. We called the front office and they said they just clocked in and apologize for the hassle. We got a new room and no further issues. The place did not seem very secure, but the car that we parked was fine in the morning.

The rooms had bugs in them. The beds are sinking in. The first room I was in the smoke detector was ripped out of the wall and the wores were hanging out the main light didn’t have a switch. The outlets were cracked with pieces missing. A roach in the tub. Second room had bugs in it too the bathroom was so small you had to be against the wall to close the door. Overall didn’t look like the picture and didn’t get what I was told I was going to. Would never try again in my life. The parking lot had dips big holes and chunks missing. One of the worst stays I had anywhere.

There was construction going on and no mention on the website. The floor of the room was filthy. There were 2 dumpsters in the parking lot and in 3 nights we saw 3 rats running across the parking lot. This was not a good experience at all. Construction started early with incredible loud booms as the workers were throwing material from the third floor into the dumpsters. Communication was limited to one lady that could speak english.

Got another room and the second day we started seeing roaches. The sink wast dripping and could not shut off. The only reason I know they never swept & mopped is because the roach I killed the day before was still there. Do not recommend!

I don't want to be unfair as the property was undergoing renovations. But the lift was not working all 4 days we stayed which was a major problem as we were put on the 3rd floor. The floors were not clean and the plumbing in the vanity leaked, Just generally run down. Staff were friendly enough but disappointing as this is the longest stay in our 3 weeks in the USA.

We took a different room and it was OK but no the coffee maker the water pressure in the bathtub was horrible. No plug for the bathtub to fall back to small beds. Also, there are garbage cans with lids outside the doors of the rooms with the rats that’s running around if those garbage cans are full they’re gonna look for garbage that was very unsanitary And the plugs in the room don’t work. It just wasn’t a great experience. I have a picture of a rat. I had more than one encounter with one outside our room.

The furniture was in very very poor condition. I would never put anything clothing in it. The curtains, dry rot chairs filthy I would not recommend this place to anyone. The pictures that they have online does not look anything like their own. It needs to be totally rehab

The area of the hotel was very nice and walkable with so many places and restaurant. But unfortunately, we found so many cockroach underneath the lamp and in the bathroom. We didn't get a chance to even took a picture because they were too fast. We told the front desk about that. They were aware but didn't do any thing. At least my husband and I only stay for just 1 night. So we just think we a bad dream. Because they won't give us back any refund.

The area around is nice and quiet with a few restaurants around and a 7 Eleven across the street. Transportation into the city was also good with a bus stop close buy and busses frequently running. Overall really great for the price, would book again.

We rented a room for 5 nights. The 1st night our room was next to major construction in the building. We were given a new room that was quiet but very unclean. I found several balls of hair on floor in bathroom and one on a new wash cloth. A moldy soap was left in the bath tub. A pack of cigarettes was left in one of the drawers. The grab bar at the tub was hanging by one screw. The TV never worked. They sent someone to fix it but it was never fixed. The last day the maid came in and “ supposedly” cleaned but left us no towels. The window had multiple cracks that were taped together with duct tape. I’m not sure who the people were that gave a good review but it did not describe the place I stayed at. Never again!

This property is very old and looks it. Elevator doesn’t work. Several construction bins and trash bins around the parking lot. Old mattresses laid along the lot. Several rodents in and around the lots. Noisy neighbors, dirty stove and old furniture. TV analog. People sitting in their car watching you.

This is a clean, reliable hotel with great customer service. Some things in the room can be updated, but overall it was a good experience.

The TV was a bit outdated, but we didn’t really watch it, so it wasn’t an issue. Housekeeping was available frequently when needed, though we often left the room a bit late in the day. The hotel itself isn’t new, but it’s very well-kept and has a warm, inviting atmosphere. I’m really glad I chose this place - no regrets at all!

Stuff was helpful. Bus was around the corner. Took Uber to White House for around $11 each way.

The beds were not comfortable. They were roaches running around in the room. There wasnt a comfortable chair or sofa to sit. Not kid friendly. The breakfast was very limited. No hot water to make tea. The blinds didnt close properly. When it was time to check out we wanted to leave at 5am but we couldnt find anyone in the office until 5:35am.

Kind of run down. The room was ok, but bathroom needs updating and there were roaches coming from under the toilet. The breakfast was basically bread and cereal. However, the laundry machines were easy to use. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again.

Additionally, there were no facilities available to help carry luggage to the third floor, which added to the inconvenience. After traveling for 5–6 hours, it was exhausting to manually haul heavy luggage upstairs. So it was not value for money rather irritations.

One of near the toaster and bread.

My room was on the second floor, and the elevator was out of service. The hotel was not in the best area, and the room, although clean had definitely seen better days. Convenient to public transit there was a bus stop right outside.

The check in process was super easy. The directions to find the room was clear and concise. The room was very clean and well laid out. The only issues I had with it was it felt like the floors needed a mop. My floor sounded sticky as I was walking around it. Also, the shower didnt have any tread in the tub and made me feel like i could slip very easily. The location was pretty ideal with food offerings, gas, and easy access to call uber to go into DC all as options.

This property is awful. It hasn't been cleaned or maintained in years. Worst of all, I was lying in bed, and a cockroach that was literally as long as my thumb crawled out from behind the couch. I tried to take a picture, but it moved too fast and I was frazzled. I immediately packed my bags and left. Never, Never Stay at this Hotel!

Although price was competitive and it checks checkboxes like parking, refrigerator, microwave and location, the hotel is dated and rooms are dated and so are fixtures in the room and bathroom. I think for the same price or slightly higher, one can get better options

The gentlemen that was checking me was asking questions regarding who I was staying with and just made me feel super uncomfortable. Once we got to our room there was a roach in the bathroom, the grate to the radiator was plastic wrapped which made me uncomfortable as well.

Outside stairs and entrances, with an inconveniently located elevator that had an "out of order" sign. Beds were clean and comfortable, but furniture was mismatched and not in the best shape. In the bathroom, the toilet ran, the paint on the walls was chipped, and there were critters (roaches?). Breakfast consisted of oatmeal packets, 2 kinds of cereal, bread for toasting, and mixed fruit cups.

The condition of the property is not the best, but it is located alin a great neighborhood with shopping and many tasty dining options and near a bus stop. The beds were clean and comfy, the air conditioner worked well and a lot of hot water for showering. Rather limited continental breakfast - toast, instant oatmeal and fruit cups. We saved a lot of money and our necessities were all met..
