Reviews
The hotel has spacious rooms and a convenient location, with easy access to public transportation and local attractions. However, the property is dated and in need of upgrades, with several guests reporting issues with cleanliness and maintenance. Additionally, some guests have experienced poor customer service from staff members.

However, being woken up by the fire alarm at 6:30 AM wasn't great, and the TV was surprisingly small—so small that it was hard to watch from the bed. Despite those minor issues, it was a nice hotel and we would consider staying again.
- 4.5/5
Room was very comfortable and well-equipped. Hotel was only a few minutes walk away from a metro station which gave easy access to all parts of Washington.
- 4.5/5
Convenient to Metro. Clean rooms. Excellent breakfast Decor is a little out dated.

Staff was great, very quick when we needed extra towels etc. The upgrade option was a great surprise! Very low cost for an awesome room!
- 5/5
clean room, staff great
- 5/5
Clean comfortable room great breakfast. And laundry facilities.
- 4/5
Decent stay. Good breakfast. The age of the property is showing up and needs a upgrade. Cobwebs in the room, ac wents full of dust, outdated kitchen.
- 3.5/5
Location Lack of kitchen implements for cooking.
- 4/5
The hotel is dated for sure, and the breakfast was typical hotel breakfast (but free!)Location was fantastic. Metro not far, CVS, restaurants, coffee shops etc walking distance. Would return to this hotel.

Well kept, clean, pleasant staff, location. There was nothing I didn’t like.

Great location, clean, safe, wonderful staff nothing
- 4/5
We appreciate the breakfast. The rooms are nice and big, but could use a facelift.
- 5/5
There are two areas that could be improved. First, it would have been helpful to receive advance information that the parking garage requires an access code. When I was trying to park my car, I was unable to enter the garage and had to return to the front desk to obtain the code, then wait in line again. This caused some unnecessary delay that could have been easily avoided with better communication. Second, the water pressure in the shower was inconsistent. It would alternate between strong and weak pressure during use, which was a little inconvenient. Other than these issues, everything else was great, and we enjoyed our stay.
- 4/5
When we arrived trash was overflowing from both outside garbage containers. The facility itself was very clean along with the rooms.

Huge room that felt like a studio with a kitchen and dinning table. Comfortable beds. Close to train station that directly connected to Washington downtown. Good breakfast Everything was good

I loved the space and the cleanliness! A bath and a half was amazing and really appreciated. They should advertise it. Breakfast was good as well. I also appreciated extending my check out time. Thanks ZERO

Conveniently located, ample parking, and the staff was helpful.

The service was nice and the breakfast was really good . Breakfast was good. What do you like? Everything

Their clean up snd room service did not exist
- 5/5
OK Room
- 3/5
Very good price. Really well located. Very old property that has seen better days, and has not been modernized and is only barely maintained. Climate control in the room didn't work. Several lights were either not functional or blinking on and off. The room was very large but with a strange layout. Not well-lit. But it is one block away from the Arlington Justice center and a lot of good restaurants. Staff were very friendly. And the hotel is very inexpensive.
- 5/5
Room is clean, don’t expect much of the breakfast as it is more of a continental type. But it is normal and functional breakfast. Overall nice budget friendly hotel stay.
- 4/5
Nice facility with a convenient location. Room was a bit dated. Staff could be more friendly.
- 5/5
I stayed 4 night. It looks they do the room leaning every 3 days.
- 4/5
Good
- 4/5
Solid value, great breakfast.
- 5/5
Great location, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, will definitely be back
- 5/5
Good breakfast, kitchen was added bonus.
- 4/5
Room was clean and spacious, staff was very helpful.
- 4/5
The hotel was clean but the rooms need updating and the air conditioning was very loud. The free breakfast was good and quite a variety.
- 4/5
I like the kitchen with utilities with it. Really good. Feels like home.
- 1/5
Sheets were dirty, they did not change the sheets from previous patron. Bathroom was not clean either.
- 5/5
This is the second time that we have stayed at this location. It is very clean and the hotel is very conveniently located.
- 3/5
Good
- 4/5
good location to DC, clean, good breakfast buffet, friendly staff
- 2/5
The property was extremely dated. The door did not close properly and had to be pushed shut with force. I did not see this at first but the bathroom had severe water damage above the mirror which caused my mold sensitivity to be worsened. The Location was great. I just wish there were a few updates.
- 5/5
Its was clean, convenient, and staffed with the most kind and helpful people.
- 5/5
Good breakfast and choice of hot buffet changed slightly each day. View of downtown DC from breakfast room. Small gym, no pool. Parking $20 daily. Easy access on foot (uphill) to the Metro (Courthouse Plaza).Worth the extra for a suite as large sized room with separate bedroom. Soap rather than shower gel provided. Recommended hotel for Washington DC visit.
- 4/5
A nice stay, despite an inconvenient location on a steep hillside.
- 5/5
Great value.
- 2/5
The rooms were outdated and old, front desk had a rough time. Checking us in because the computer was so old. We waited 45 minutes just to be checked in.
- 4/5
I had to check out early before breakfast so I don’t know what the breakfast was like. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. My only negative comment is coffee wasn’t available to guests in the lobby only at breakfast on the top floor. There was a coffee maker in the room, but the coffee and the powdered creamer were terrible
- 5/5
Very large room, breakfast was wonderful. Close to the metro. Police station right down the road, always felt safe
- 5/5
Breakfast was better than most- with hot cakes, bacon, and eggs. Great location- we felt safe and we were close enough to DC to use ride share. We appreciated having the kitchen area in our efficiency room.
- 3/5
The room was not clean while we were thier trash not remove towels not chang. Staff never ask us needed anything. Breakfast was very good close to get around VA attraction
- 3/5
- 5/5
Room was large. Showed a bit of wear, but very pretty property.
- 5/5
Excellent variety to choose from at breakfast, didn’t need the laundry services
- 5/5
Great breakfast
- 5/5
The elevators were usually pretty quick, our floor had an ice machine. We doordashed and met the dasher in the lobby, no issues. Paid for parking and it was pretty straight forward. The room was spacious, the tv was atrocious though....the channels didnt match the guide channel and they would cut out after about 20 seconds. We ended up streaming on our devices instead.
- 5/5
Great room and great breakfast. Really cute city
- 5/5
Wonderful staff, very friendly and professional, Good breakfast
- 5/5
The room was really big, nice and clean with comfy beds. Breakfast was ok, staff was really nice and it is located in a good location. Walking distance to metro and food
- 4/5
I paid extra $20 for parking which was not mentioned when I reserved the room through Expedia.
- 5/5
Room was well maintained, staff was professional and helfpful with direct questions however, when we checked in (after midnight) the person had dozed off. They informed of us of the parking fee however, did not tell us about the additional parking if the (small lot) was full. We spent 30 minutes one evening driving around the block trying to find parking. When we asked at the front desk later about additional parking we were informed of the parking garage and back parking that we had no clue about. Overall a great stay, just some lack of communication.
- 3/5
Outdated rooms and facilities
- 5/5
The breakfast was very good. Room was very nice and spacious. Bed very comfortable. 7 minutes from metro station.
- 5/5
the breakfast is great.
- 3/5
Ses installations ne sont acceptables que pour une seule nuit.
- 4/5
Breakfast wasn’t great, other than that, it is a nice hotel.
- 3/5
Breakfast had some choices. Fruit choices were sad & unappealing
- 4/5
It’s an older property but clean. Service desk was great!!!
- 1/5
Old and dirty
- 2/5
Breakfast yes stay no staff no no parking extra no house keeping
- 4/5
Recommend Clarion replace coffee makers with more current model like Keurig.
- 5/5
Clean room and professional staff
- 5/5
Excellent location very close to Courthouse metro. The area felt very safe, even at night walking with young kids to the metro. Close to a movie theater was a nice bonus too. Room was very nice, loved having a large living room and table that was separate from sleeping bedroom and kitchen was helpful as well. The kids could go to sleep and adults still watch tv or talk. Breakfast was a good variety with something for everyone. The metro was perfect, silver or orange line quickly brought us where we needed to go without needing to switch trains, great for families sightseeing. Kids loved riding metro. Hotel was significantly less than others we looked at and very glad we chose this one, parking for $20 was better than $70 at other locations. Will definitely stay here for a future trip.
- 5/5
This was a very nice hotel, The breakfast in the morning was very nice and good choices.I was very pleasantly surprised with the small kitchenette. Realize that you do have to pay twenty dollar a night fee to park your car. We are not from a city like this and I have never had to pay for parking when I already paid for the room.
- 5/5
Everything was up to par, the kitchen had all the utensils you could think of. Limited pans but for a few uses it was ok. The place was very clean. It was worth the money. The only down side was the unexpected parking fees.
- 5/5
The room was perfect for my husband, and I the only thing I didn’t like was paying for parking
- 5/5
Excellent full breakfast every day. Checked in early. Room was clean, if dated. Full kitchen in room. Breakfast crew was on it! Kept hot food hot, all beverages filled. Great view of DC (Washington monument and capital building from breakfast room). Room had small patio.
- 4/5
This hotel was very convenient to Washington DC. Only 5 min walk to metro station and about 15mins to downtown DC. Breakfast was okay, eggs, bacon, pancakes, yoghurt, cereal, bagels etc. but finishes at 9am. rooms were very spacious and clean - bathrooms very clean. The hotel is extremely dated , dark and is in serious need of a facelift to make it brighter and more inviting.
- 5/5
.
- 4/5
A bit tired and outdated but clean, friendly staff, good deal. Will stay here again.
- 3/5
I would have given this place 5 stars but someone used my card and booked an in refundable oom for a party of 2 (I'm a party of 4). The hotel claims they do not see the reservation but I literally can see the reservation on my Expedia account. I'm not even in the area about 5 states away from the days that were booked.
- 5/5
staff courteous
- 5/5
Room is very spacious, stuff is polite and courteous
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff, large room, great amenities, great breakfast
- 5/5
It is not a 5 stat hotel but definitely you get what you pay for in my opinion I was there for 3 nights.
- 4/5
Breakfast was Amazing
- 2/5
Staff was nice and location is great. That’s about it for the good though. Breakfast was terrible, room had broken plugs that we couldn’t use due to a flipped breaker, the drain didn’t work and the beds were very uncomfortable. They also didn’t leave us any dish soap to wash dishes with but expected us to do that before we left or we’d be fined
- 4/5
The room is spacious, clean, and well-maintained. I’ll definitely return to stay there again.
- 5/5
The team was wonderful and the room was very spacious.
- 5/5
Great value.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 2/5
Main reason for poor review is that the staff was not helpful at all. During the snow storm I had to leave the. hotel to go to work,
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable, great location, and really nice breakfast
- 5/5
Great place to stay in DC area. Very clean. Great breakfast. Convenient location
- 4/5
Great
- 5/5
very clean nice rooms, breakfast was awesome! Staffing was wonderful.
- 5/5
Our room was really clean, and everything from the front desk service to breakfast was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay. Some people were unkind in their reviews and it almost kept us from staying here, but I am glad we stayed. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the staff—you rock!
- 5/5
Clean, nice hotel. The staff were very professional. It was a nice stay and I would stay there again.
- 3/5
The hotel was nice enough. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom walls were dirty. But most of all my husband was taking the bags to the car and when we came back to use the restroom before checking out the cleaning staff was already in our room cleaning which makes zero sense because it was several hours before check out.
- 3/5
Great location and spacious rooms. However, the rooms need modernizing. Small TV located very far from the bed in an old style TV cabinet. No outlets on the night stands and some of the lights seemed have a short in the wiring.
- 5/5
Great location and huge rooms
- 3/5
During our entire stay, the room, especially the kitchen, smelled like food. It seems like the kitchen was not properly cleaned before we stayed. The countertops were clean, but a strong smell lingered. We asked for someone to spray the room, but this only helped temporarily.
- 4/5
Older property. Great value. Attentive staff.
- 1/5
There was an issue where I pay for the room through Expedia and then when I got to the site, they said they did not have my reservation or payment then I had to pay 170 for the room when I already did all my reservation through Expedia. Also, I don’t understand why Expedia did not send my payment or reservation to the hotel for me to have this inconvenient.
- 3/5
The room was very clean and in good shape and the front desk people were nice. The breakfast was very good. The issue was the noise. Party people outside our window in the parking lot until after 3AM Friday and Saturday nights. and a family on the other side of the wall with small kids who make an incredible amount of noise. My wife and kids got sick and couldn't sleep due to the disturbances so we left a day early. Paid for 3 nights and couldn't stay that third night.
- 4/5
Desk staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Room was very spacious with equipped kitchenette. Very convenient to by destination, Arlington National Cemetery.
- 5/5
Nice and clean hotel
- 4/5
Room was very clean and breakfast hours were good. Overall not a bad value, but I would have preferred a more updated room with a smart TV that was also a bit larger as well as a more modern kitchen area- the electric burners were old-school, one of them wasn’t even working, and there was no oven. I chose the location for the kitchenette because I was having work done on my apartment and wanted the ability to cook. Netflix would have been nice…
- 2/5
Not to the standards
- 5/5
Desk workers were super nice and efficient. Room was perfect. No issues at all..
- 5/5
Hotel was clean, room, entryway, dining area. Staff was always cordial. Only problem was the room assigned had a back up in kitchen sink, when front desk was alerted they assigned us a new room(even allowed us to pick the next room). Parking was additional twenty dollars a day. Great location near highways.
- 4/5
Staff
- 5/5
Ok
- 5/5
Good for what it is! Parking was included
- 1/5
Nothing looks like pictures on their website.
- 4/5
Wi fi much improved relative to my prior review
- 4/5
Rooms are older but they are HUGE, clean and in great shape! The full kitchen and bathroom are a treat!
- 5/5
Very good staff, Sofia at the front desk was very helpful. Every morning the kitchen staff welcomed me with a smile and a great breakfast. Everyone helped to make a great stay. Looking forward to returning again soon
- 5/5
Helpful staff. Excellent breakfasts. Very pleased, we will return. Thanks !
- 3/5
The hotel has somewhat outdated facilities and could definitely benefit from a renovation. However, more importantly, I had to request a room change because I found cockroaches in the room, which significantly affected my experience.
- 5/5
Amazing place and staff members!
- 3/5
The breakfast was excellent!! And included!! The parking is $20 a night, so we found free street street parking which wasn’t bad. The views were nice at breakfast. It is an old hotel, renovations would be nice since our door had a very visible crack in it you could see people walking by. They put us next to the loudest people but since it was only for one night it was ok, however the thick wall of smoke was impenetrable. Please at least get a bigger tv.
- 4/5
Went outside for dinner & a large rat ran out from behind the trash can! Yikes!!!
- 5/5
Staff is very professional and courteous
- 5/5
The front desk dont respond that good but I will still give 5 stars because the room is clean and quiet.
- 5/5
The reason we booked with this hotel was the outside parking - we have a truck with roof racks and inside garage parking is very limited. Thank you
- 5/5
Excellent breakfast, clean rooms, pleasant associates
- 5/5
A very spacious and clean room. Great parking. Front desk folks were very helpful.
- 5/5
We got a suite so it was very big and clean. Staff was ok. Hotel is older.
- 3/5
Hotel is in need of deep cleaning and major upgrades. Front
- 4/5
Clean rooms.
- 3/5
One of the stuff is rude and it request a 150$ deposit that I didn't know about
- 4/5
Friendly staff
- 4/5
Loved the view and balcony.
- 5/5
Nice and comfy room.
- 3/5
They only provided 1 towel, coffee maker was not working
- 4/5
Excellent breakfast in the 8th floor with a great view. Close to all the key siteseeing places.
- 5/5
Nice, clean hotel with a lovely desk staff
- 5/5
Good overnight stay.
- 5/5
Breakfast has a variety of offerings, and rooms are comfortable
- 5/5
The breakfast while warm, had no variety. It was the same thing everyday and every time.
- 5/5
Boring Breakfast menu. But the room is very spacious and contains a kitchen. Very nice for the price and location.
- 3/5
The reason I don't give 5 star this time is due to that the frig in my room was so noisy. I was awakened every night when it starts to run. Other than that, everything is fine.
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
great full kitchen
- 5/5
This s is the ideal hotel for visits to the Washington DC area. So many pros: the metro is two blocks away is so convenient, movie theatre close by, quiet neighborhood, close to the freeway if driving or taking Ubers. Breakfast is hardy with a variety everyday. It is a hot breakfast. Rooms are spacious with a refrigerator, dishes and small stove. We were a family of four and appreciated the very large room. Great hotel!
- 3/5
Stayed here for a week on a famoly trip to the DC area. Hotels in a great location, but it’s old and probably needs more maintenance on the rooms. Multiple light fixtures in the bedroom and bathroom constantly flickering, so we ended up just unscrewing the light bulbs. The towel rack fell off one morning while I was getting my towel off of it. And the front desk worker completely ignored my requests- I told the person at the front desk on Friday 10th about the towel rack breaking, but I told them don’t worry about fixing it since we were leaving the next day. I also told them we didn’t want housekeeping thee are t day (they only do housekeeping on Friday). When we returned from our excursions for the day the towel rack had been fixed, and housekeeping had gone in as normal. They moved and touched personal belongings. Unacceptable. As others have said you will be charged for parking, and they will charge for things other hotels typically don’t charge for. Roll away bed, bottle of water. Overall- if you need somewhere to sleep it’s ok, but next time I’ll choose somewhere different.
- 5/5
Rooms were a bit dated but clean and spacious. Staff was super friendly. Close to public transport and plenty of dining options in walking distance.
- 3/5
Yes
- 5/5
Easy walk to subway station to go to DC tourist spots. Hotel provides good choice for breakfast. Likes the decor and room size is very good.
- 5/5
Kitchen was equipped, although the dishwasher was a bit noisy. Breakfast was excellent and there were vegan options as well.
- 4/5
We like our room, nice and big. Kitchen is good except the utensils, need upgrade on utensils. Other than that we were pleased with our stay. Breakfasts great. Will recommend this hotel to our friends.
- 5/5
Impeccably clean room, very nice and helpful staff, great breakfast, great location. The decor is dated and it’s an older property. Personally, that doesn’t bother me one bit when the stay is significantly more affordable. My stay here was outstanding!
- 5/5
Staff was friendly, I felt safe, and my room was clean. I'd stay again.
- 5/5
We were there for 13 days and nights. We enjoyed a great buffet breakfast every morning. We were in walking distance to area shops and restaurants. We always felt safe, the staff was always nice and helpful and it was very clean. Enjoyed our stay very much!
- 5/5
We stayed for two nights while visiting my daughter. All was very good. I would stay again.
- 5/5
The room was spacious and clean. The location was excellent for visiting the sites in DC. It was great to have a kitchen so we could save money on food. We also used the laundry facilities, which worked great
- 5/5
The room was great, plenty of room. It needed some touch up paint on the inside and out. Breakfast was good, but not too many options.
- 5/5
Very comfortable and safe location
- 1/5
Paid in full on experian then arrive at 430 checkin was 400 and room wasnt ready. Then get told there is a 150.00 clean fee and a 20.00 parking fee on top of what i paid on expedia which said all fees included. Pretty bad when u show up and have to gibe out another 170.00 on top of what u think is paid for.
- 5/5
Kathy took quick care of me after a non pleasant and non safe experience at another facility. The rooms are huge and spacious as well as accommodating. A wonderful experience and I’ve already made plans to come back!
- 5/5
Wonderful comfortable room
- 2/5
Wifi is not working from apple devices and made me called their provider.
- 5/5
We absolutely LOVED this hotel! Our suite was so comfortable and spacious! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly! Will definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
I always have a good stay but my last trip was marred because their WiFi connection sucked. It was so bad they had to move me from one room to another
- 5/5
Chose it to avoid high prices in the DC itself. Breakfast was excellent, they even had real cutlery. The dining room is on the 8th floor so you can enjoy the view that includes the Washington monument. Room was clean and comfortable, zero complaints.
- 2/5
In need of a serious upgrade. Only good thing was the breakfast. The rooms are very outdated and carpets look old
- 3/5
Everything was good: services are nice, hotel is reasonably priced, room is clean and fairly large, conveniently location. Only thing NEGATIVE is PARKING: very expensive at $20/night with a half-empty parking lot
- 5/5
Clean and convenient
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Great property, liked it all the way. Very convenient, close to major attractions
- 4/5
Nice room . Great location and convenience for funeral services at Arlington.
- 3/5
From what I saw they had a good breakfast assortment and well replenished. The kitchen staff was very busy making sure everything was replenished. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were great.
- 5/5
Great place and awesome room size with kitchen facilities
- 5/5
This was the second time I stayed at this hotel. Really great experience. Also the breakfast was amazing.
- 4/5
Only the breakfast area was always line up and no one was cleaning the table..
- 1/5
The AC systems dont cool below 74-75. Made complaint once then they moved me to another room that did the same thing. Asked if they could just cancel my stay on these grounds and was denied. TWICE. Left 1 day early, couldnt handle the room temp any longer. They never gave me a receipt but later charged me $100 on my deposit but never explained.
- 4/5
Still very nice and we would stay again.
- 5/5
Nice walk to the metro station. Close to Arlington cemetery.
- 5/5
The room was big and spacious and walking distance to many things. We requested late check out and it was approved , but then we were told that late check out was not a thing and we had to leave at 11
- 3/5
The building is very old and smelly. Staff were good and very helpful
- 4/5
It wasn’t bad considering the price and location, and with breakfast! The view of monument was great. Need more maintenance, but some might like this classic taste for nostalgia.
- 3/5
I was looking for a newer hotal.
- 4/5
The facilities are old. The refrigerator didn't cool properly, so milk and other items spoiled. However, since the room rate was affordable, I can't complain too much. It was a sufficient hotel for budget-friendly sightseeing in Washington, D.C.
- 4/5
It's an old-school property; serviceable but nothing special. Breakfast is complimentary but it's only for one hour! No free water unless you are a special member of some kind.
- 3/5
The hotel was offered
- 5/5
Very nice comfortable accommodations
- 5/5
The suite was big enough for our family of 4. It is very roomy. It is also located across a laundry area which made it very convenient for us to wash our clothes during the stay. Breaksfast is also included. However, they can still imprpve on their breakfast selections.
- 5/5
Really large one bedroom suite with a full kitchen. Clean and comfortable beds. Great location to metro.
- 4/5
Location and hotel itself was just fine!
- 3/5
Stayed here to attend warped tour in DC. Overall a good stay but the bed was so uncomfortable. I barely slept the first night. The mattress felt hard as a rock. The next two nights I slept on the pullout couch and it was much better for comfortability. It’s a bit pricey and you have to pay for parking each night. Breakfast is only 6-9 which is a little ridiculous if you want to sleep in. The TV in the living room was not working. It would stay stuck on one channel and it was hard to change it after scrolling a few channels. The toilet in the second bathroom would run out of water and wouldn’t flush unless you turned the knob at the bottom. Overall, the room served its purpose though as my friend and I weren’t there much and it was easy to access the RFK Stadium by uber. It’s a decent hotel but probably would not stay again.
- 5/5
Comfortable, well appointed rooms/suites, excellent breakfast in the morning and pleasant staff.
- 5/5
It has a feel of yesteryear - stately. Rooms are very nicely sized.
- 4/5
The breakfast was great! Fruit, eggs, bacon, pancakes, bread cereal, and juice.
- 5/5
The room was great- large, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly.
- 5/5
This hotel was in the perfect spot for a DC vacation. Close to the Metro if you want to go to the city. Easy enough to walk around the area. The room was huge and allowed us to make our own meals. Friendly staff and great service to our room. I would come here again and I will tell anyone wanting to see our nations capital this is the place.
- 4/5
Room is big and bed is comfy. View was great. I didn't get any service for the entire three nights I was there though.

Huge party in the room adjacent to ours on the second night there kept us awake most of the night. Contacted front desk who got them to quiet down but a few kept going all night! The room was very spacious and clean but only serviced every three (3) days unless you make other arrangements. The breakfast is EXCELLENT! Hot buffet options, juices, cereal, fruit, etc.

Excellent stay. I was apprehensive because the price was less than other area hotels especially because the rooms were suites with a kitchen. Exceeded expectations and very comfortable rooms. Parking was $20 per night which again, was less than comparable properties. Will definitely stay again when in the DC area.

Everything was great about my the stay. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The proximity to food and the metro was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Older, well kept property. Metro station within 5 minute walk. Onsite parking.

I would be fine with this if they at least emptied the trash

The lack of transportation was disappointing, especially as there was a hotel shuttle parked in front. We were told that was only for government personnel. While reviews talked about the nearness of restaurants and shopping, as seniors these were not walkable because of the extremely steep streets that led to them. Finally, the tub quickly filled with water and drained very slowly when we attempted to use the shower.

Was okay for our 1 night stay

Power was out half the night. No back up generators. Old parents. Three flights of stairs.

Convenient location to what we needed but the property was very tired.

I have no problem with this hotel, however, I didn't have good experience because of the tourists in this hotel. There was a organization with a group of young kids in the hotel at the same time. The organizer/teacher called my room and knocked at the door in middle of night saying there was a fire alarm signal from my room. Later, I realized the he was trying confirm which room has his students. Obviously hotel didn't provide the room list to this guy or he didn't even ask for it. In addition, it may cause turmoil to lie about a fire alarm. I hope the hotel can work with this kind of group tourist better in the future to avoid midnight harrassment.

It is one of the best hotels we have stayed at recently.
- 4/5
Large rooms, nice furnishings and beds. Breakfast is excellent.
- 5/5
The parking was a bit tricky to get a spot outside, though there is a garage we didn’t use. Also there was not an abundance of sugar free options in the breakfast room.

One the best stays ever! Too 3 if anything. Room was spacious. Breakfast was on 8th floor which was cool because you views of D.C. specifically the Washington Monument in the distance. Staff were friendly. It was close to shops and a movie theatre all within walking distance. And drive to visit sites were between 12-15 minutes away. Great place!!

Great for stay more then one night Close to nthe national mall

It was close enough to the Metro. The shuttle wasn't available to everyone.

I think it's a good hotel to stay for business at a fair price! Maybe not for solo travelers but for family or groups, I think it's quite fair.

Staff were sttentive

Great place. We really enjoyed the King Suite. My only complaint was that the TVs are old flat screens with cable- no streaming/smart TVs.

Place is old. But spacious. Cost for parking is a negative.location is convenient.

I stay only one night. check in at 7pm. The 3rd floor hallway smells fried fish. My next door was having a loud party unitl 1 am. I could not sleep that night, so I check out at 5:30 am as I had a tight schedule !

We enjoyed the stay…felt like breakfast was lacking. Few options… empty early.
- 4/5
Loved the suite, seperate room for sleeping and kitchenette. Having a full size table was a plus for eating together.
- 5/5
It was simple and smooth. I love the breakfast. I understand the policy not to clean the room every day. But it would be nice if you can take away the trash put outside the door. Would definitely visit again.
- 5/5
The breakfast was really great! Coffe was good and the selection of hot food was even better. I would definitely stay here again! No complaints at all!! It even stormed our last night and we could barely hear it so the rooms are really quiet!
- 4/5
The area seemed safe and quiet. Breakfast buffet hall is small and it did get crowded for the weekend. One time we had to wait for 10 mins to get a table.
- 5/5
Nice hotel. Breakfast was good, time available could have been longer. Room service options and food was awesome. Room was nice and big.
- 5/5
The rooms are spacious, with kitchen and full size refrigerator. The breakfast was good. The hotel is very close to downtown DC, and Georgetown. A lot of food options in a 5 minute drive. Very please over all.

The front desk staff was awesome. I did not like that my room was not cleaned everyday.
- 3/5
Check in was difficult and breakfast was not good. Coffee should be better quality. Television was new but not plugged in. Staff had communication difficulties
