    Breakfast was a freaking circus. Huge group of people and sat wherever and wouldn’t move even after they finished breakfast. So there was absolutely no seats for normal guests. Wait for food was LONG.. recommend looking into if there is big groups staying there before you book.

    Hint- if you like SaltGrass steak house and you are there between 3-6 on a weekday. Go sit in the bar and get their happy hour specials. Don’t over order bcz they are good and filling.

    The grandkids LOVED the pool. We entertained them for hours there. The breakfast was excellent. Please put ice in the lemon water. The staff was so very friendly and helpful. The rooms are so dark.

    Pros: My room looked and smelled clean and there weren't any bugs at least. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked phenomenally so I got a good nights rest. Breakfast was basic but you can't go wrong with the Texas shaped waffles. Decent for the price point.

    The property was OK. Very affordable so it was good for the price. I prefer to have a couch and chairs to sit on in the room and we only had 2 chairs. So, when hanging out in the room someone had to sit on the bed. I should have noticed that in the pictures because I got exactly what the room was pictured as. Water pressure in the shower was lacking. The pool was nice. Breakfast was decent. Over all, it was OK.

    The only complaint I had was they put a bunch of kids from a soccer team right next to my room. I could hear them through the adjoining door. I called 2 times that night to get them to settle those kids down. Those kids were really rude when I opened the door found them playing ball in the hall. I asked them to quiet down so my kids could sleep. They went in the room and got even louder.

    Parking and location was convient. Lobby was nicer. The rooms looked as though the cheapest possible contractor tried to fix the room. There was plywood as the window treatments. Curtains were ripped. Some doors had missing door sweeps, leaving a small gap in the door that felt unsafe. Definitely felt unsafe for my young family.. exposed electrical outlets(falling off the wall) and power strips exposed.. countertop corners exposed in the bathroom. no crib available for a baby.. breakfast was again, basic and geared toward adults. Not kids. Or families.

    I found two live roaches in the room. A giant one in the hallway. Was it worth the $100 I guess for a last min stop. Indian run so it goes without saying they skimp a little on certain luxuries. Would not stay again but if you want a cheap no frills experience this is your place

    Not accommodating at all! Our AC unit was making a constant squeaking noise. Asked management to fix it and said they did. Got back to room later and it was not fixed. Called again someone came up and said they dont know what is wrong and they cant move us to another room because all rooms are booked. Lost alot of sleep due to this. Pillows were hard as rocks. Didn't even have a hair dryer in the room. Called front desk and they said they didnt have one either. Will never stay here again. Only one washer and dryer for 5 floors. Sausage looked raw at breakfast. Dont stay here people!

    I stayed at this hotel for five days.. and two of those days my room wasn’t cleaned. The staff were good, but unhelpful. I left several messages for the manager to no avail. And you might think I am a complainer, but I assure you I am not. The hotel for the most part was clean, newly refurbished. The staff checking in were helpful. The breakfast was fair. Area was clean, eggs watery, sausage like cardboard and the coffee weak. I usually stay at LaQuinta’s .. I feel safe.. traveling as a single woman. And amenities are consistent, was very disappointed in this location. I probably will pass on staying again. No response from the manager was poor customer service.

    Centrally located. Room was decently clean; others hair found in sheets; hair all over the floor; however the bathroom was clean. Walls are extremely thin, you can hear people sneeze from outside of their rooms. Staff was nice. Breakfast was okay.

    Staff support working that day were not very helpful when new bedding was needed due to my daughter throwing up on it. We cleaned it and just requested new bedding but never received it. Thankfully the night shift was so much more helpful and very fast at providing what we needed.

    I was double charged for my room which left me with no money to eat with while I was there and no gas money to get home on. I also couldn’t afford the event that I needed the room for in the first place. I told the front desk about the problem and they confirmed it. They reversed the charge but said it could take a few business days to get fixed which did not help me over the weekend. I had made several purchases that same day (the day I paid for the hotel) not knowing about the extra charge and got several overdraft fees because of it. When I called the helpline to tell them what happened they asked me for proof of charge which I sent them. The second charge showed as pending and they acted like it was ok because it had not gone through yet. I told them that did not help me buy food or gas or pay for my event, as my bank did not care that it was pending, only that I was overdrawn. When Monday came and the charge was still pending the other charges came out and I was charged overdraft fees. I was told they would keep in touch through email and I have not heard anything since.

    The one thing that concerned us was the electrical outlets in the bathroom did not work. Oddly enough we had stayed in that same room before and reported the same issue to staff. They really should fix the issue as this could be a fire hazard.

    Breakfast was cold. Eggs and sausage was not heated correctly. We noticed no water for the chaffing dish. It was just turned on. Breakfast is always my favorites at hotels so I was a little disappointed. Shower head did not work. Had to use the hand held one. Or maybe we did not know hot to change the it. Other than that, it was a good stay for us for a funeral.

    Room was clean and the hotel itself was clean. Property is a little dated so things are worn. Breakfast isn’t much if you do that sort of thing. Rooms were big. It’s in south arlington plenty of places to eat and lots of shopping. Staff was pleasant but they are FIRM about a 3:00 check in!!! You’re not getting in your room 5 minutes early or two hours early

    I chose this hotel for several reasons. One is because it was 10 minutes away from Summit Racing Equipment which was the reason we were traveling here from Houston. The second reason is because we were traveling with our two young adult children, and both of them have a Frenchie and the hotel advertises that it is pet friendly. I personally have never traveled with pets before so I wasn’t aware of the additional charge per pet. It wasn’t mentioned during booking. The day prior to us traveling, I received a text message from La Quinta by Wyndham to do a pre-check-in to save time at the desk. I thought that was great so I took a break from work to get this done. It was here that I was told it was $75 additional charge for each pet. Because our room was a nonrefundable rate, I was forced to pay it. I think it should have been mentioned during booking that there was an additional charge for pets. I’m sure this is probably common for all pet friendly hotels, but like I said, I have never traveled with pets before so I think I should’ve been made aware of this at booking. I uploaded a picture of my drivers license and gave all of my truck information so that I wouldn’t have to do any of this during check-in. We happened to arrive about an hour and a half early and after being on the road with two small dogs, we were ready for some space.     Staff support was lacking. There was no access to any general bathrooms outside of your own individual room because the bathroom was blocked off. The workout room was unavailable and so was the pool. I had to change rooms because there was a big roach in my room that was still alive. They had no rooms available for me and had to wait four hours for a new room.

    Get both elevators working especially for guest on 5th floor. I should have called Fire Marshal due to the fact you had the back entrance/exit closed. If true emergency how would guest get out of back part of building? Also cigarette burns in top comforter on bed. Towel in bathroom fringed and should have not been used again.     Very disappointed by the stay at La Quinta by Wyndham Dallas Arlington South. No, where at the time of making this reservation online was it indicated that this location was being renovated. The only side door pathway is blocked by a pillar, which made it difficult to roll in luggage. The elevator at that entrance was out of service, there was poor lighting throughout the hallway and in this room we stayed. We were in town for a family funeral. I had my elderly parents with me, which made it very difficult for them to walk all the way to the very end to the only working elevator down the hall. Then to walk all the way back down to the hall to the room that was reserved for us. Reservations indicated for three adults, and we only had two towels in our room. I called the operator and was told I had to come back downstairs to get extra towels. Inconvenienced again. I also called the 800 number to speak to someone regarding this stay and was kept given the runaround and transferred. Poor customer service do not waste your money.

    When booking our hotel, there was no indication that they were under construction. It was very inconvenient to get our luggage into the building. The pool and exercise area were closed. The breakfast area was temporary with no air conditioning and the food was so disappointing. The flooring in our room was a cheap laminate not clean so disappointing. There was very little water pressure in the shower, but we were thankful there was hot water.

    The sheet was very clean. The curtain was falling down from the window. One of the door knobs to the bathroom was off and there was absolutely no hot water for over 24 hours. One of the staff was rude when I told him about the hot water. I have a video showing that the hot water wasn’t coming coming out of faucet at all.

    This had to be the worst experience in our travels. We arrived at 11:00am to see if we could drop our stuff off at the room and were told we could but it would cost us $30.  so we left and went exploring. upon returning, we went to shower and there was no hair dryer. I went to the front desk and she's telling me there is one. So I went back to the room looked again, no dryer so off I went back to the front desk. She sort of didn't believe me but gave me one anyway. We rested by the pool for a little bit and there was a young man that came out and was walking all around the pool stating he was looking for an outlet to charge he phone. we didn't think much of it until he couldn't get back out (and into the front desk area) that he apparently was not a guest at the hotel. 2 days later we awakened by someone knocking on the window from the parking lot and then there was knocking on doors up and down the hallway. we called the front desk to complain there was a strange woman banging on all the doors looking for someone. After that I didn't want to sound like a complainer so I didn't complain about the toilet seat that needed to be tightened, kind of dangerous. We decided to wash upstairs on the 3rd floor we started the washer and then went to the front desk for $2 worth of quarters, they didn't have any quarters GREAT. Friday we spent the day in Fort Worth and decided to go back and just swim in the pool and relax. We were told the pool was closed. no explanation.

    Had to request that our bed be made, but the room was clean! It was a nice room. Travel-sized shampoo and conditioner were not great, nor even the same brand. The curtain literally had holes from top to bottom in it? We couldn't have a dark room to sleep because of the street light shining straight in. So much construction is going on currently, so the outside and lobby seating were limited. Breakfast was fine unless you wanted hot food - those options were not great, if the options were even there. 2/3 mornings, there were no eggs or meat to eat. There were ants in the container for coffee creamer :/

    The place is a filth box. Service was terrible. We asked for extra pillows and they asked us to go down to get them. Only 2 pillows were allowed, even though the room didn’t have enough pillows. No soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Toilet paper was almost out and we were asked to go get it from the lobby. We left after one night.

    The first room Tory gave us didn’t have air and the maintenance men came in and took the whole air conditioner out and took it to the room next door within seconds it was weird… The tub in the new room had hair in it the elevators were dumps and no air in them they are very outdated. The breakfast was horrible they ran out of food and put out half done stuff when asked it was an hour beifre breakfast supposed to ended. They Only had eggs and sausage muffins and oatmeal had to be made by you lmao.. they ran out of waffle iro spray so waffles were sticking just horrible I don’t recommend this place ever again will I stay there paint was chipping everywhere and the ceiling leaked water on us when we used the toilet. Very dissatisfied

    The hotel was surrounded by restaurants which were great. It is also near a shopping mall. It is close to a highway, so you will hear traffic noise from it. The building is fairly new but you may notice a little normal wear and tear. A little attention to breakfast items running out and overfilled trash receptacle by the staff was needed in the morning. Over all, I was happy with my stay.

    We chose this hotel as it had breakfast included and said it has a gym or exercise room. Due to maintenance the gym was closed. I tried to go to the pool and when I arrived there were no towels and most of the lounge chairs by the pool were badly broken. The ice machine on our floor, the fourth floor, did not work. The water fountain on the ground floor was stained and dirty.

    They gave you the bare minimum towels. We had 3 people and they gave us two towels and then didn’t want to give us more towels. They gave just enough coffee to make 2 cups and that was it. The comforter had black stains on it. I had just got out of surgery and an employee there caused us to miss the one elevator that they had working. All because he was more concerned about the vacuum than holding the door. We left a day early.

    When we got to the room there was a black stain on the sheets and a flickering bulb. When I asked for 4 clean towels for my group I was told I could only have one. They give you the bare minimum of coffee and sugar for the room. The ice machine on the 4th floor was broken. They had a whole entrance and elevator blocked which made the walk back to my room after surgery miserable. The elevator takes forever and after my surgery we had an employee cause us to miss the elevator because he didn’t hold it after his vacuum got caught in it. So we had to wait even longer for the elevator to come back down again.

    They are renovating so during the day you could hear them working on the rooms. They didnt have towels at the pool and some of the pool furniture was broken. The staff was very nice and very helpful. The room was spacious and very clean, on our second day cleaning team asked if we had any trash, which they took out and swapped out our towels for our used ones. Id recommend this property.

    Horrible stay with this hotel. First night we asked to change rooms due to the electricity issue we were having. The light switch on the wall turned off everything in the room. We were told maintenance will fix it Saturday. maintenance never stopped by and maintenance. Never fixed it. We had to constantly ask for clean bedding, which we never got. We spent a total of 4 nights with no cleaning bedding after the first night. We asked for the room to be cleaned several times which never happened. We had to beg for clean towels several times. The elevator did not work. We were on the third floor.

    The hotel room had no overhead lights so it was very dim and of course we did not want to open the blinds because of the construction men outside. One of our lamps even had a short in the wire so that was annoying. Our room only had one remote for the two televisions we had which was also an inconvenience. The bedroom dresser was literally missing a drawer, which I told the staff about and they did not care to replace it so we didn't even unpack. The bathroom shower was a glass door that the rubber seal fell off every time we used the shower, so my husband had to constantly stop what he was doing to fix it or the glass could have broke. The hotel seems to just lack attention to detail. I would never return and definitely never recommend.

    When I turn on the bathroom sink water came out from under the sink. There was a waste under the sink holding the water as all the facet parts were on the ground. We had to dump the water into the bathtub to be able to brush our teeth. The shower lever was stuck. It could only go half way to the shower mode. This room shouldn’t have been rented out. We should be comp some of our money back as in May the weather outside you need to take a shower after being outside. Overall, the location is a major plus for shopping and restaurant. All walking distances.

    The hotel is one of my favorites because of the beds. That was excellent as usual, however, I got little rest because they were renovating directly above my head. It was very scary at times to hear a drill and pounding coming through the roof suddenly, early and late. A "Do Not Disturb" sign means staff should not enter unless invited in. They entered my room and removed my jewelry so their integrity is in question. I usually recommend Wyndham to everyone, but I will have to refrain after this trip. I am truly Disappointed.

    The lobby was the only thing that was nice. The rooms are outdated. The restroom in my room had mold on the walls. Nasty green water residue on the shower drain. Hard water stains on the sink. The floor was dirty like it had not been cleaned. The parking space needs have more lighting for safety reasons. It's completely dark int he back. The elevator smelled like urine and had all types of bad words carved on it. There were signs on the elevator that they are remodeling but the property around is a mess. There were many mattresses thrown in the back and a big forklift parked so you cannot exit thru the back door. The washing machine was broken so I was not able to use it. Just a horrible experience. I expected better from a large chain like La Quinta Inn.

    It was a nice little property but when I made the reservation it didn’t tell me they were doing construction renovations during my stay. I would have chosen a different property but it was clean and the staff was amazing. The workers doing the work were drinking alcohol in the hallways during the evening. But workers need to vent. I get it. Just would have liked a heads up. But again. Staff were wonderful and accommodating as possible. TVs need to be upgraded to smart displays with apps. The cable was slow and clunky to navigate. Especially from being out of town.

    There was no kettle in the room or bottled water, cups, forks, spoons. There was painting happening so the hallway carpet had paint on it. Also construction was happening.     The bathroom soap bar holder fell off the wall, the room was musty, small TV, decor was outdated, hallways are super dirty, and the elevator was tagged. I did not feel any comfort whatsoever for my 2 days of stay.

    I normally don’t give negative reviews but this hotel really felt very short. It was noisy with someone drilling walls for hours, the room was not cleaned during the day (I stayed 2 nights) and the gym had almost all machines out of order. Even though is located in a good place, the hotel itself is not good.

    The room I had needed work done, the AC was barely working and the cabinet that had the fridge in was empty and my child could go in there and get hurt it was extremely dirty

    There's apparently no public transportation around so get ready to pay extra for Ubers. Saw a roach during my stay but at least someone had killed it already. Having to wait for the one person working the front desk to be available to purchase any kind of vending is a nuisance. What happened to vending machines?

    Staff is friendly, but language barrier that makes communication a bit difficult. The hotel is clean. Room is clean. However, tub/shower ran constantly. Could not get it to completely shut off. Toilet had to be flushed twice. A sign stating room cleaning is reduced to 3 days was not clearly visible and was told about the 3 day cleaning process ….as we had taken towels down to get clean ones. We requested room cleaning on Saturday…day 3 of stay…..then again twice on Saturday morning. We got back to hotel around 5:30 and room stilll wasn’t clean. Was told they were still cleaning rooms. Soooo STILL cleaning rooms at 5:30pm? Check in is st 3pm?! So complained, got back to room and within 5 minutes there’s a knock. The cleaning stsff was there waiting. So put shoes back on and went downstairs and waited in the lobby. No apologies. Get back upstairs she’s just leaving. Would no go back
