Location and cleanliness. Front desk staff were not friendly at all. There was no one to greet upon arrival, the staff walked out of the back office with a frown like they were bothered to come up. Upon checkout, the staff (a different lady) seemed bothered by me asking for a receipt.

Room was clean at check in. However, the body wash was empty, and Housekeeping was skipped twice during our week long day. So we are trying to keep going down the front desk, asking for towels.

As a Marriott property, I expected the room, especially a suite to have a safe in it. Also, the room was missing a nightstand and rather than replace it with a matching one they just sent one in there which didn’t match the decor

My stay was very good...the hotel was quiet easy to access...check in was seamless the staff was nice...didn't take part in breakfast not a huge breakfast person but the orange juice was on point...I would stay here again!!

The Fairfield Inn & Suites Dallas Arlington South is a solid mid-range option that delivers where it counts. Situated near the Arlington Highlands shopping district and about 15 minutes from AT&T Stadium, it trades the noise of the entertainment district for a quieter setting without sacrificing highway access. Rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the complimentary hot breakfast is a perk. The one caveat: peak-hour congestion at the nearby I-20 interchange can slow you down. But for business travelers, families, or anyone spending time training in the DFW area, it's a dependable, comfortable base.

It was a very fresh looking hotel in every way. The staff were great. Breakfast choices were good. It was very convenient to excellent eateries, and to the local people we were visiting.

It was a comfortable stay, the staff was very courteous and accommodating.

We had a very quick stay so we didn't get to experience breakfast, etc. but check in was swift and easy, room was clean and had full amenities. Would choose to stay again when in the area.

Despite a large number of youths (with parents) travelling for sports, the hotel stayed extremely clean without a single discarded item lying about anywhere, including the large parking areas outside. The room was immaculate, the fixtures sparkling as-if new. There were plenty of towels. You need not bring an HDMI cord as the TV is ready for services and includes built-in Pluto TV (free). The hotel said "yes" and played no games when requesting more coffee packets for the room. USB charging ports were on the nightstand. My only quibble is there was no (alarm) clock as I can become incoherent when sleeping when travelling and prefer to be able to check the time when I roll over. Breakfast is the usual schlock and I never have any expectations over this. The OJ was authentic.

The room was okay. Had to request a couple services items, drainage stopped and no conditioner. It didn’t feel like their room service team are on top of everything. Also it will be nice to have a water bottle station for refills.

Room was massive! I got a two queen size room for a good price and it was very spacious compared to other hotels ive been to with the same beds and double the price. So clean too!

The room was clean and kept well. The staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived very late and they granted a later check out which was much appreciated. The breakfast was very good. There were only 3 towels in our room for four guests. We could have gotten more from the front but I wish the room had started with four.

Room/shower was not clean. We asked for daily housekeeping, and when we returned to our room, the tip was gone and nothing had been done in the room, no clean towels, trash was still full etc; very disappointed.

Two areas that need some improvement: poorly placed wall outlets and usb ports (none near the head of the beds) so that was inconvenient. The only two usb ports were in the fridge/microwave area next to the bathroom. For such an updated property, this seemed a little off. Second, the rooms are updated and clean but the wall next to the toilet has dark navy textured wallpaper and it looked like it had been sprayed with bodily fluids SEVERAL times and stained. I bought Lysol and tried to clean it myself and it didn’t come off, so a different, more easily cleanable wallpaper in the bathrooms would make the room(s) feel much cleaner. The staff does clean well, I just think this is a needed change. I would stay here and recommend it to friends overall!

The hotel was perfect for a business trip. The room was spacious and updated with 2 TV's! Very affordable including a pool and gym. I would highly recommend the business suite for business travel.

Our two-night stay was exceptionally enjoyable. The property maintained a high level of cleanliness and organization. The staff exhibited exceptional warmth and willingness to meet the needs of their guests. Loved staying at this hotel. Front staff was welcoming upon entering the hotel. Room was very clean. Set up all of my gadgets and put my snacks in the mini fridge. Loved that there was also ethernet connections as well as Wi-Fi. Hotel was close to everywhere I wanted to go. Would definitely stay here again.

However, there wasn’t enough room as the hotel rooms fill up quickly and I couldn’t get an upgraded room but got a double queen-size bedroom instead of a king-size bedroom.

Our room had AC issues and very poor airflow. The room was sticky and uncomfortable due to this. The night shift employee that assisted us was fantastic, though. She was incredibly attentive, and though they were fully booked that night, she went out of her way to find us fans to assist with airflow to help the room be at least a bit more comfortable. Outside of that, room was average. Hotel was clean.

We were exhausted from an overseas trip and we checked in easily to a very nice room with an amazing shower. Very comfortable and we slept until 10:30 the next morning. Would highly recommend!

The service was awesome. The room was clean and quiet. The mattress was a bit too hard for my liking. The breakfast was okay, we didn’t even get to eat there as they had ran out of food., bummer. Overall, great stay and will stay there again.

It was very clean and smelled clean and fresh. It’s hard to find a hotel in that area at that doesn’t have at least a slight marijuana smell. The staff were pleasant. The breakfast as great too. Will definitely stay again when we’re in that area.

Very nice hotel. We stayed 2 nights. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was that our room wasn't restocked with coffee or fresh towels on our 2nd day.. Also, our bed wasn't made. I have never had that happen before.

Horrible check in experience. I made a reservation 3/21 at 8 pm. I was coming from an over 8 hour drive. I arrived at the property past 4 am which I understand is a late check in but being that I paid for the entire night, I thought I would be able to get my room. The “gentleman” at the front very rudely laughed at me when told I wanted to check in and very rudely told me I couldn’t check in and I could check in at 3:50 max. I’m not sure if this is a company policy, hotel policy, or his own policy that he made up. Hotels are meant for travelers and people travel at all hours. After traveling for over 8 hours, the last thing I wanted to do was to be rejected and in a rude manner. There’s ways of properly saying things. To top it off, there was maintenance in my room so I was unable to rest prior to my event that brought me to Arlington. I come to the area often and rest assured this will be the last time I stay here. Avoid such an ugly experience and DO NOT stay here.
