Sketchy place old , people living in rooms not a hotel.

This property is fine. The common areas are clean and the staff were all kind, helpful, and professional. The room was dated and smelled musty / of smoke (when you enter this property, any seasoned traveler will recognize this is just a given for a hotel of this type and caliber); we self resolved this issue with a quick trip to Walmart for some Febreze and a plug-in air freshener. While the room was otherwise "clean", it was tired. There were visible stains on the curtains and headboards. The towel rack on in the bathroom was partially broken and the bathroom sink didn't drain well. On the positive, the bed linens were fresh and clean, as were the towels. Overall, we'd probably stay here again. This hotel is an excellent value for a multi-day stay, if you can get past what we've shared above. None of the conditions above were deal breakers for us, but they may be for you.

Stuf is very nice. Room... its giod. You get what you pay for. But its clean and has everything you need. You have small kitchen but no utensils, so bring with if you plan on using them. Overall.. its a good property.

Too many broken down cars in the parking lot

Honestly not what we expected we had to switch rooms. The first one was absolutely unacceptable stains in shower & room curtains. Unpleasant smell lingering in the hallways families stay here so different people cooking & orders roaming. Please only book for last resort or cheaper route not suitable for vacation or luxury get away

The staff where very nice and great but the property it self looks like a apartment complex kids running around that actually live they’re I just thought it was more like a hotel but was not the rooms where clean and comfortable but there wasn’t full toilet paper rolls they call an hour before you have to check out to remind you and then seem like staff go find you 1/2 hr till u have to take out I didn’t like that if your looking for something quick is okay and then you have to put a $50 deposit down as well that it did not tell me about when I booked

We only stayed one night so , so things were clean enough, but the lobby only had 2 chairs in it and wasn't very welcoming. Furniture, fixtures, carpet, etc., were showing their wear. Curtains had to be binder clipped together because they wouldn't stay closed. Hot water was not very hot for showers.

Room was ok. We ended up with the handicap room. Beds were kinda too low to the ground for me. Bathtub drained extremely slow. Hallway smelled like Marijuana. Staff was very nice and friendly. Room key didn't work.

I decided to leave the room because it was dirty and very uncomfortable. the pictures doesn't match vs reality. several patches of unfinished repairs and the curtains broken. the last one the smell was horrible and we just can stand for it. all of my gamitly started with itching around our body. The receptionist was never there either, so I was not able to inform it before I leaved the jotel. My worst experience ever

I've stayed here several times, probably 6 or 7 at this point. The rooms are spacious, which is always a plus, they give you a decent sized fridge and even electric burners for cooking. I can't really say I have any complaint besides the fitness room always being locked and my key would never let me get into it. I'll stay here again.

The room provided was not as per selection and then the makeshift room given was not clean at all. Thhe front desk person didnt look to resolve any issue and just keep sayiing we are understaff for weekend and we are full so cant so anything

We were on the first floor, the blackout drapes were broken and we had to brace heavy things against the drapes to keep them closed enough for a minimum of privacy. Many lights were out and bulbs had not been replaced. The property needs to make clear in their description that, even though there is a kitchen, nothing at all is provided - no paper goods, no dishes. You must bring your own toiletries. That also needs to be made clear in the description.

I must admit, the condition of the establishment left much to be desired. The cleanliness was a concern, with noticeable issues such as a sticky floor and a generally unkempt appearance, including broken fixtures and furniture. While the staff who initially assisted us were incredibly helpful and kind, the overnight staff seemed less attentive, and the key cards frequently malfunctioned. I am afraid to say that I do not plan on returning. It was not a pleasant experience.

However, there was a noticeable mold odor in the bathroom, and the drain blockage took two days to clear despite reporting it twice. While the unit included a stove, microwave, and fridge, there were no utensils or pots provided. Fortunately, a nearby dollar store made it easy to pick up the essentials

The manager at time of arrival was unfriendly and did not welcome us at all, was rude. There were a lot of homeless people and scary people in and around the lobby and outside. When trying to talk to the night person at the desk he held a personal conversation with an outsider instead of taking the time to answer a question I had this place is a scary and very poor managed place to stay. I felt I was going to get mugged, oh there was an ambulance and fire truck onsite when we got back from eating at a restaurant because a guy got beaten up in the parking lot. Not a good place to stay

They falsely advertise free breakfast that is included. There’s no breakfast.

The service was absolutely horrendous. I was given a room that the key wouldn't even open the door. The guy had to help me get in once. There was a big hole in the carpet right inside the room. When I asked for some help with the key, or to get a different room I was blown off. I decided I wasn't going to stay somewhere where I cannot even get into my room.

The stay was okay but this is an extended stay so they expect you to take out your own trash and sign a lengthy document about their rules. The trash dumpster outside was overflowing and trash bags were actually on the ground all the way around it. If you don’t “follow their rules” you are fined.

My husband never stayed there they canceled his Reservation on him because he did not get there at 3pm to check in he got there at 8pm and she wouldn't help to get a different room because they were sold out and i booked this back in may and they canceled it on him

It was the worst place I stayed in my life.The room was filled with bad smell and I have to go out and bought air freshner to spray.It looked like a slum in a third world country.I will never recommend any one to stay this place.

Room itself seem to be a little dirty. Chair in the corner was frayed. Drain in the sink was extremely slow and in the tub. Not quite so slow. Overall nice stay but also did not look crisp and neat. Dark rugs look dirty, and felt grungy, bathroom floor felt sticky

This place is in desperate need of an upgrade or demolition. It's showing its age and is not properly maintained. There were several people hanging around the outside. I don't know if they were guest or homeless, but their presence could make some feel unsafe. The room was mediocre, but for the price, it was fair. House keeping never came to my room, but I reused my towels, so not a big deal. The front desk staff was ok, but it's like signing a lease agreement on an apartment rather than checking into a hotel. Lots of paperwork to get through before you get your room key. This place served its purpose for this trip, but I'll spend a little more elsewhere next time.

They cancelled our reservation in their system before the actual advertised time. The police, EMTs, and fire department we repeatedly called to the location for multiple issues over the course of three days. The sinks and the bathtubs were clogged. The Spicket on the sink wasn’t even secured to the counter. A spare $30 microwave was on the counter of the kitchen area because the large microwave had stopped working. TV service did not work consistently. The room stank every day unless we turned on the air. Zero preventative maintenance has been done on this place. Do not put yourself through the misery of staying at this hotel.

Convenient location, on the bus route. Just 10 minutes drive to the mall and shops. Full kitchenette but no utensils, not sure how that works.

They cancelled the room at 740a. Leaving my family and I searching for last minute accomodations.

My neighbors were constantly arguing and it got violent multiple times. Other than these small inconveniences, the stay was fine.

Staff was excellent, room had a strong musty smell. Worked for the night wouldn’t stay longer than a quick sleep.

My family spend our weekend in Chicago for my niece’s birthday, I’m so happy we book here. Steve and his staff are so sweet and friendly, They take care of their customers. I want to book again in July but it’s book out. **thank you Steve for taking care of us when ever we come to you for the littlest things.

This is more of a long term living then a normal hotel.

My stay at Suburban Studios was great. I was able to get some well needed rest. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Monesha at the front desk. I will be staying at the Suburban Studios Arlington Heights again, and would recommend you try them out too.

The property was shady, we were missing on the comforters i had to inform thrice then too it was delivered any time , it was walking into horror , very shady and weird people around ! Also there use to be no one on the reception. Very much disappointing

Horrible staff especially the front desk lady... dont depend on the manager Apllo he will not losten to your side and god forbide you have a issue when he is off !!! You have to clean your own room and throw out your own transh !!! They charge you 3 bucks for new towels and liens .... and the lady in front will start throwing you out at 10 :15 am and check out is at 11am ... you have to clean your own room and the towels are horrible mangement sucks ... and front desk daid if you dont like it you can end your stay after it was paid for !! Think 2 x before rent here motel 6 is better honestly!!!!

We have booked a room earlier and finished payment and everything, later when we went to the hotel after traveling 2 hours, lady at the front desk said she overbooked and they don’t have any rooms available. Atrocious!

Smells like RAID

Upon check in the room wasn't available that was booked. Put in another room that was missing a mattress in the pull out couch. Then assigned another room but no price break made. Charge for new towels. Double charged the credit card. Deposit as well never paid deposit for a hotel before.

Elevator was broken for weeks carts barely work the GM paul was very rude fire alarms going off in the middle of the night because electric issues with the building waking me and my children up at 2 and 3 am on multiple occasions

Loved the rooms and politeness of the staff.

Hallway smell terrible (cigarette, weed, mold…) They did a bad job repainting the ceiling (blue). There was a dog barking in the middle of the night. On top of that, the fire alarm went off at 3am. We all had to go downstairs and wait until firefighters came and check the building. It was one of the worst hotel experiences we have had. We DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!

Staff was pretty rude. The room did not have towels or sheets for the pull out bed along with no pillow for it. They gave us a room where the halls were being painted so the room smelled like paint thinner.

Felt seriously unsafe at this property. Scary people all over the property. Blood on the duvet. Shower didn’t drain. Clicking noises all night. Someone pulled the fire alarm. Loud blaring buzzer at the front desk that goes off every 30 minutes. Shocked I did not get bed bugs.

Carpet very dirty and the bathroom tub was very gross had to clean it myself.

Every-time id go to the parking lot there would be random people out there. My room had a small kitchen space which was nice but they didn’t provide literally anything but two plastic cups. Bathtub was dirty. There’s literally nothing you get from this hotel but a bed to sleep on. Which at that point it’s still not worth it for the price

Both room were in poor condition. First room had what seriously looked like blood smeared in the lampshade. There was more of the dried substance on the cord of the hair dryer in the bathroom. There was a chip in the bath tub that was rusting and rust around the drainage hole. The second room had a piece of the carpet cut out and nothing covering it. The bathtub did not drain so the water filled the tub after showering. There was no bath towels in the bathroom. Went to the front desk to tell them and they handed us only hand towels and said cleaning people have left for the day. Website said there was breakfast but when asked in the morning, front desk clerk said they only had coffee. Horrible experience. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

A bit run down

Our stay was great. One thing I dislike is that our check out time is at 11 but we got house keeping knocking at our door, like 20 mins before time. If we were running late that is understandable, but we were not.

Everything is covered with construction dust, they clean with a vacuum cleaner that makes a cloud of dust, the receptionist apologized to me, did not offer another room, told me that I will get a refund in a few days, the manager two days after that made a decision that I will not refund because they offered me another room, which is a not true.

They had changed my room because of a fire, no discount. When checking in the entry doors literally had a sticker stating the building was unfit for occupancy. I’m pretty sure they rented me a room that was unfit for occupancy. Staff was not professional. Little to no toiletries. Sheets had burns in them. Lobby space was dirty. I guess you get what you pay for.

I was checked in to a room that smelled awful, windows didn't lock, curtains did not cover window, tv did not work. I was moved to a second room where the tv did not work. Moved to a third room where there was no safety lock on the door. The property housed several questionable employees and people staying. The property was unsafe, dirty and overall awful. I would never recommend this hotel. I could not stay there, I had to leave, I asked for a refund and had to book another hotel right then and there as it was late evening.The experience was ridiculous!

The king bed we booked turned out was a much smaller bed; the bed is clean though. The room was much larger than we thought with big fridge, new microwave, pot heating panel and kitchen area although there wasn't any kitchen utensils.

Even though the facility has supposedly been recently renovated it still seemed a bit dogeared. Also, some minimal stuff was missing. I rented a suite with a kitchen and there was not a single cup or piece of silverware--not to mention any plates or pots and pans. Not even a plastic cup for water! At a minimum a cup should be available and ideally a plate and a fork or two.

Checked in my room pulled covers back and notice speckled blood spots on the sheets! Had to change rooms …. My first and last visit

Moved to another room same nasty mold in bathroom paint peeling and walls dirty bathroom vanity very nasty falling apart . Tub moldy and dirty . Hair clumps in shower and floor . Everything was peeling .. I wiped down all surfaces and the room though it smelled nice when we walked in and he other room was cleaner but the rag was was gross there too. No win very uncomfortable. I have been to this hotel like 5 years ago. It was clean back 5 years ago. Bathtub was stained this time, grass had dog feces all over, the halfway reeked of cigarettes, and cable was not working. Staff was friendly though.

Room was big enough, but bathroom was small and old. Toilet moved when you sat on it. ran out of toilet paper. only 2 towels in room for 2 people. had to ask for more. Breakfast was not what we thought it was going to be. actually went out to eat.

It was dingy and needed to be updated. We had to go to the lobby to get clean towels. No housekeeping done. They only had one luggage cart and it was not available The price was inflated due to the Chicago Marathon but was decent.The clerk who was new to the job was very pleasant and helpful.

Extremely outdated property, which is surprising for Comfort Inn. The room was muggy, missing soap, shampoo, conditioner, no hangers, no ice bucket, the coffee machine had two moldy coffee packets in it, and the hallways smelled like garbage. I wish I booked elsewhere!

Hallways smelled like horseradish (at least for the three days I was there), curtains didn't close, closet door, one desk phone, and mini-fridge were all broken. The room was clean and the bed was nice, though. Staff was awesome.

The bathroom needs a real deep clean. There isn’t much to do around there so make sure you have a car. I was only there for two days but I would recommend you stay elsewhere. The bath towels are hard. The day staff was kind because I had to go back three times to get my card activated so that I could get into my room and they kindly apologized every time. (That was sarcasm) Just avoid this place. Spend the extra $20 for a much better place.
