    Our flight got in early, so we knew we might be too early for check in. The first employee we came in contact with told us there were no rooms available. We were able to leave our luggage and go get lunch. There were two other families in the same boat. When we got back, a new employee told us rooms had been available for hours. The lobby looked nice and clean and our room was good with the exception of the bath tub. It was so worn and dirty looking. The soaps had been ripped off of the wall. I explained this to the front desk and asked if there were any better bath tubs. They said that they were all the same because the renovations weren’t complete. They offered to clean the tub, but they didn’t come for a couple of hours. My husband walked to the store and bought cleaner so we could clean it. The breakfast was good and was well stocked.

    when we checked in, the general manager had to call to see if our room was ready and it wasn’t, so they gave us another room. it was really close to the front doors, but it looked like it hadn’t been even used or touched in ages. the bathroom was disgusting, with scum on the toilet as well as water stains AND a dead bug in the bathtub, there was red lines from paint or a marker on the side of the bed and about a foot and a half along the floor, the microwave was dirty, and also, the safe was broken. when we complained, the lady at the front desk sounded like she didn’t even care or like she somehow knew we would complain about it and reacted like it was nothing. we chose this hotel because it was decent priced and the photos made it look nice, and it was everything but. my first real bad hotel experience.

    The hotel is located in an ideal location since I have family located in both Mount Prospect and Arlington Heights. I should have never checked in to this hotel. When I arrived in the Chicago area, outside was extremely hot, humid, and muggy. When I entered the hotel lobby, the hotel did not have the air conditioning on at all. It felt sticky and icky checking in. As for my room, unless you have the air conditioning blasting on full volume, the room smelled like sweaty feet. It was disgusting. Even more disgusting was finding ring around the bathtub when I went to get a shower and noticed hair particles around the tub. Finally, breakfast was scheduled on the weekend from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. I made the mistake coming downstairs for breakfast at 8:30 a.m. and NOTHING was replenished. Since I was not there at 6:30 a.m. sharp, there was hardly anything at all except crumbs from what was once there. Thanks for nothing Comfort Inn!

    Location, breakfast was fair enough for the price Night porter was ver rude. Would not speak to me at all as I was not Pete Tasker - even though Pete had introduced himself and me (wife) and said he was going to move the car. Room was dirty - bedding was clean Breakfast tables were grubby and dislike the use of so many plastic plated etc but this seems to be the norm in budget hotels

    Called down to the front desk twice over a 4 night stay about the television not working, never did get resolved. First room was absolutely filthy, called down, switched us rooms, was better. Apparently some rooms, the bathroom had been remodeled. The first room the tub was basically black on the bottom it was so filthy. Friendly staff but not a very good property in all

    The hotel was nice and I liked there was a laundry room There was no tv service in our room I had asked the manager twice and I think he just gave up on it . The room tv kept saying contact your provider in room 205 and the room we got was a handicap room , we aren’t handicapped the shower was awful to use and it flooded the bath room I noticed there was a lot of things broken the lotion dispenser the door knobs and the blinds didn’t work

    Friendly staff. Affordable price. Location close to many things. A few hiccups at check in . Air Conditioner issue . We were given another room. Also, both rooms had a musty odor. Bathroom tubs are peeled and need updating. When we wete reporting our problem a couple was also there saying they were given the wrong key card and they walked in on the other guests. That was alarming. The manager walked us up to our new room and made sure everything was satisfactory. Other than the smell which he offered air freshener for it was a decent place to stay. Pass on most of the free breakfast. Probably would not return.

    Once you finally get checked in and go to your room, there is a lot of things that need attention to. Its possible that not all rooms are the same. The room we were given had random white marks on the carpet. The knob that controls the HVAC system was falling apart and rusted. The heating and cooling unit needed a good cleaning. In the restroom the shampoo and conditioner bottles that they glued to the wall had fallen off and torn off the paint. It seemed like they hadn't done a proper cleaning/check. My room did not have an iron so i went downs stairs to ask for one around 7:00am but as you can imagine there was no one there. I had to go and look for someone available and ask if they could provide me one. They offered to bring it up to my room. Two hours later no iron still i had to go back down and ask once again. Finally the brought it up. I also requested room service and they neglected to do so. Will definitely not be returning.

    Lobby is kept clean however the rooms need a lot of help. Seemed like staff did not change pillow cases in our bedroom. I requested a change on the pillow case and instead of a change the pillow was removed out of our bedroom and not replaced. The bathroom seemed not properly clean. The bathtub had a rim of dirt and streak marks from previous shampoo use. The room had carpet which also seemed not vacuumed. Overall, not a good experience in this hotel

    Shower stalls need replacement. I’ve stayed in 2 rooms, both had deteriorating stalls, and soap holders not on the walls, bottles lying on the tub. Not clean in corners, visible other’s hair/dirt in bathroom. Bed was most comfortable of beds I have slept in the area hotels, hence why I booked a second time. But I was alone and slept in the middle of the mattress. Good selection of pillows. Coffee maker did not work in room.

    First off, I just want to say that the woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. We arrived a few minutes after check-in, so she called housekeeping to make sure they had a clean room available, which we were grateful for. After receiving our keys, we went up to our room. I’m unsure if there was a miscommunication between the front desk and housekeeping staff, but our door was propped open as if it was still being cleaned. We quickly dropped off our things and assumed that they may be back to finish cleaning. When we returned to the room later in the evening, everything was like we left it. We noticed the bathroom was particularly run down and dirty. The paint of the shower walls and soap holder was peeling off in big patches. There was hair on the wall and soap bottles as well as mildew in the corners of the bathtub. There were also dried stains on the bathroom door. We noticed crumbs on the chair in the bedroom as well as ants crawling around the air unit and a few on the bed itself. Since we were only staying one night, we didn’t have the energy to make a fuss about it, but it’s worth mentioning for the sake of future guests. We’re hoping it was a one-off issue, but hopefully the company will look into much needed maintenance so we feel comfortable returning.

    They apparently started remodeling this hotel but only did it halfway. The sink and floor of the bathroom were nice, but the shower was one of the worst I have seen - worn and nasty looking, and there was a place on the shower wall where the shampoo and conditioner had been ripped off and it had not been repaired. I would have avoided stepping foot in the shower if I could have. The carpet in the room had what I assume were permanent stains. Breakfast was pretty basic, not much to it. When I spoke to the manager about the condition of the shower he basically said it was out of his control and that is why the price is cheap.

    The room itself was nice. Comfortable bed, nice tv. However...the bathroom was absolutely horrendous. The tub/shower specifically. The tub walls have been painted and the paint was chipped everywhere. The plug to the drain was missing so no taking a bath (not that i would in the condition it was in) the bar soap holder was chipping paint so nowhere to put that. The door to the bathroom was chipping paint. Behind the door near the corner of the tub there was black im assuming mold growing. The lighting in the bathroom was so dark I couldn't do my make-up.

    Our room had a weird smell of cheese and the bathroom smelled like cigarettes. There was also no shampoo in the bathroom. And the shower definitely was dirty with soap stains on the wall. It also appeared that the tub has not been kept clean in a while. Overall the dirtiest thing was the bathroom but at least the bed sheets felt clean.

    Decent room and amenities, not really as fancy as the photos make it though. Unfortunately, the other reviews about the ghetto neighborhood is correct. First night, big group of minors in the lobby loitering around and being loud. They didn’t seem to be patrons as no one held large bags or any type of luggage to stay the night. The guard present and walking by didn’t do anything, so it was like not having security at all. No parental guardian around was a lil sus too. Normally, I wouldn’t have mind, but they were constantly blocking the front entrance. Making it hard to unload our luggage. 2nd night, same thing but diff group of ppl. Made me realize this was the norm :/ they blocked an elderly couple as well. I’ve stayed here multiple times before & thru a span of 3 yrs, unfortunately this time definitely made me not want to return. Breakfast too downgraded, says 6:30am but more like 7am, continental breakfast. Not really “hot” options, waffle machine in pictures but not there in person, mediocre. Every time we went to the parking lot, there would be more loitering & dogs barking from hotel windows (so glad they weren’t our neighbors). You get what you pay for I suppose. Do yourself a favor and take another option if you can for an extra $10-$15. It’ll be worth it.

    The staff (front desk) was attentive and polite. Check-in was quick. To be fair I feel like I got my money's worth. However, the room looked like it had been recently redone but the bath room was old, dated, and was probably clean although it didn't look that way. The shower enclosure wall was peeling and the toilet seat was broken. The lobby looked fine and breakfast was typical.

    The shower looked like it had barely been wiped down, which was honestly disgusting. In the first room I was given, the toilet didn’t even flush. On top of that, the shower had extremely low water pressure — don’t plan on washing your hair unless you have a lot of time and patience. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I would not stay here again.

    The room had a broken hairdryer, no solution offered. It also had a broken thermostat and phone, so we couldn’t even call to request housekeeping. When asked if we could switch rooms, the front desk did not offer a solution and said we had to come back on the day we were leaving to get a new one since it was full.

    I walked into my room and the heat was turned all the way up with the air conditioner broken. I then was told the hotel was sold out but they eventually found me a room with two beds. Additionally, the shower was also dirty and appeared to not have been cleaned. This was a ridiculous and unprofessional ordeal that makes me less likely to come back.

    There was a dirty towel still on the tub ledge. Bathtub itself looked horrendus. Duct tape was holding part of the nightstand together. Bathroom smelled like incense. Rattle from the radiator the entire night. Somehow the shower leaked up through the floor crack outaode the bathroom door and i almost slipped.

    Room was comfortable and bed was very comfy. Only thing I can say it bathroom was not up to date peeling walls, door was damaged in bathroom and paint in the tub was peeling as wells. All staff I encountered were friendly and very helpful with my needs. I’d stay at this hotel again!!!

    Main counter staff is nice We stayed 2 nights and booked 2 different rooms. One room was good but others have several small issues which were addressed but not solved. We mentioned and requested thrice for housekeeping from the housekeeping staff but room was still not done when we came back which was a turn off for us. Rooms are decent size, Heating and AC is good but bath tubs in washroom are bit old. Overall it was a good stay not an excellent stay. All points for breakfast and free parking.

    In all honesty I was there to sleep only, got in at 1:15am out by 6am. I had called ahead of time to let them know. I was getting in late and they had the key ready when I walked in the door. And we were out before breakfast. The only complaint I have is the bathroom needed to be updated. Paint was peeling and the coating on the tub was peeling as well. I didn’t even take time to shower, but had I had time I still probably would not have showered.

    The property is clean and well-staffed. Staff is friendly. The room was well appointed. (some properties are eliminating micro, fridge and chairs as crazy as that seems). Love that there is a nice breakfast! Only criticism was that the coffee was a bit weak at breakfast, but the one in my room was perfect, so I was very happy. It was quiet, even near the lobby where I was.

    The room and bathroom were very dirty. The bathtub was so dirty that it was frightening to even think about using it, and the enamel coating was completely peeling off. The windows couldn't be opened, it was stuffy, and there was a smell of marijuana in the corridor.

The tub has lots of stains and the toilet has one of those buttons that use different amounts of water between the two buttons. The larger one didn’t work so that was annoying. Close to a lot of things if you have a car or take the bus. Can walk to a big gas station across the street

    The best part about my stay was I had a bed and a roof with guaranteed breakfast, that's where it ends. I arrived in a room with garbage present from previous guest with the back of an earring near my bed and a water bottle that is not mine sitting out. The bathroom had something splattered on the back of the door and the toilet seat was ready to fall off so I fixed it by tightening it down. The thermostat was entirely broken so you were unable to tell what temp the room was set at. I could adjust the dial but had no way to know what I was setting it at. The wifi was non existent for my entire floor and staff was unable to do anything to remedy it, so I burned through the rest of the data for my phone plan during my trip. The cost of my stay for 2 nights was 150$ and considering I get parking, somewhere to stay, and food in the morning it was not bad...but then the room was not clean and nothing really worked.

    Staff was fine, but there was no garbage can in the room or bathroom at all, fixtures (such as the wall thermostat) were visibly damaged and the corners of the room where the wall met the floor were peeling and ragged looking. The room was fine for a one night stay ahead of a flight but I would not recommend for longer. Vending machines had very little stocked and there are no other snacks in the lobby so eat before you arrive. Lastly only half and half was offered in the lobby for coffee. a non-dairy option would have been appreciated

    I got a room that was accessible. I asked for a different one, but I wouldn't have minded if it was cleaned a bit better. When I first walked in, the room smelled damp and odd. When I went into the bathroom, there were puddles of water on the floor. I'm low vision and didn't know where it came from at first. It was from every time the sink was used. The water pressure was low in the shower and the shower itself. The main problem wasn't the crumbs.The bed and mattress were super firm, but the shower and tub weren't cleaned before I checked in. There was hair in the tub and the soap holders were dirty - the top one was dirty and the paint was peeling, and the second one was just paint peeling. The hotel entrance smelled good and the hallways were nice because of the plug-ins. The person who checked me in was really nice and quick. The tall guy was cool and talked to everyone. I liked that. I appreciated the inclusion of a microwave in the room. However, I would have preferred if the room could provide a fresh air ventilation. This was due to the inability of the window to be opened. The air quality remained stagnant. The air conditioning unit operates at its own pace, with its traditional turn dial style. It doesn't deduct points for that. I also commend the bathroom for being fully stocked with towels. However, I found it inconvenient that two rolls of tissues were already halfway used. This was my first time visiting this place and staying at this hotel.

    The bathroom was a different story, the toilet seat was dirty ( I used a couple of disposable wipes to clean it, as I didn't feel like dealing with finding someone to clean it). The tub/shower unit was old and in poor condition, it was stained, it looked like the finish was worn off from age. It may have been clean but I just decided to avoid using it. I can't comment of the breakfast as I was out and on the road before it opened. I doubt I would stay here again.

    I booked a King size and did not get a king size. We got into the room and it was a double queen.     To start off when we first checked in one of the elevators were broken, that was fine because at least wouldn’t worked. By day 2 of the stay both of them were broken usually I wouldn’t mind. But I’m 8 months pregnant on the 4th floor. Was told it would be fixed by a certain day and it indeed wasn’t. Also the pillows had nasty stains, curtains nasty, and so was the headboard I stood here once before and loved it, not so much this time. Won’t be returning!!!! Oh and didn’t get cleaning service not once I stood here from Wednesday to Tuesday morning.

    Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Room was dirty, half working toilet, TV cuts off every 15 or 20 mins and you have to go back to power the switch on, water coming out if the washroom tap is set to a very low level that it takes forever to clean wash your face etc. Fan in my washroom kept making a ticking sound all day.     The room was terrible! The bathroom door was covered in a spilled drink, either soda or coffee, there was hair everywhere in the bathroom; the floor, sink, the tissue box. The shower was filthy and there was no stopper in the tub, just a spike pointing straight up where the stopper used to be. The paint was chipping in multiple areas in the shower. The key cards for the room only worked a couple times had to go to the front desk numerous times to get them re-keyed. Will never stay at a Comfort Inn again!

    The majority of the room was clean. The beds definitely felt very clean. The bathroom was a different story. The tub was really old and stained and also just dirty. The toilet was also not as spic and span as you'd expect at a hotel. You could tell someone had used it since it was cleaned. The service at the front desk was good. polite and prompt. parking was easy. the breakfast area looked nice, but I didn't get to eat. Overall, for the price, it was average and got the job done.

    We are extremely disappointed with Expedia for this stay. I reserved a room at Comfort Inn, near O’Hare Airport, several weeks ago because we would be returning at 11 pm (EST) from an overseas trip, too late to drive 2 1/2 hours to our home in another state. When we arrived at Comfort Inn, no reservation showed in their system. And they were fully booked for the night. And so now we are driving home at 12:40 am with an expected arrival time of 2:40 am. We are crossing our fingers that we have not been charged for this booking.

    The stay was just okay. The staff were very friendly and I appreciated the breakfast. There were some cleanliness issues: at least one of the towels, some bedding, the carpet, and the armchair had noticeable staining.     Staff was super friendly, beds reasonably comfortable with clean sheets, bathrooms were gross (at least in our room). The bathtub was brown from dirtiness, the walls of the tub were peeling, handle for the shower was broken, some kind of something gross on the door of the bathroom. Room smelled like smoke and they tried to hide it with plug ins in the wall. Wasn’t super expensive so we got what we paid for I guess.

    Hotel lobby is very nice and updated. Once you go to the rooms, they are outdated. Holes in the walls. Chipped tubs that were painted over. The room was humid majority of the time we were there. Beds were very comfy, although pillows had nothing to them. Breakfast was 3/5. Same thing everyday. There were 2 elevators and 1 was out of service the entire week we were there. Staff was nice. But until rooms get updated, I wouldn’t stay again.

    Staff were great, room size was good but the bathroom wasn’t clean at all. I’m just glad we were sleeping there for one night for our flight. The tub wasn’t clean you can see hair and dirt, paint was chipping off the soup holder in the tub and our curtains wouldn’t go up (it was stuck)

    The bathtub was falling apart, paint was flicking away. Big pile of long hair was outside the toilet on the bottom. When I checked in the ice machine didn't work and there was no bottle of water in the vending machine. The receptionist was very rude when I asked if she could recommend a place for dinner.

    It smelt terrible/ trash in the hallways during cleaning service when we first checked in.. elevator was broken.. the desk person had the front doors locked at 4am (could be for safety purposes no biggie but multiple people had to bang in the door to be let in) I said good morning while he unlocked the door and he just looked at me.

    Room was clean, most of the staff was nice (especially the woman who checked us in, she was great). Room didn't have any bath towels, just hand towels and wash cloths. When we went to the front desk to get some, the woman just handed them to us and walked off as I was saying thank you so that was pretty rude but it wasn't really a big deal. Nice breakfast, well stocked and clean. Always saw someone wiping down the counters so there were no crumbs or anything sitting for long. Also the whole hotel smelled AMAZING. Overall a great stay.

    Most courteous front desk I've ever encountered--actually peppered 'please' and 'thank yous' throughout our interaction. Plenty of amenities and the accomodations are in line with the price point. The one caveat is you have to formally request daily housekeeping--staff won't enter occupied rooms otherwise.

    Front desk was welcoming, room was clean minus a few shaving hairs in the bathroom sink. Bed was clean and comfortable, but unfortunately, there was a dog on my floor that wouldn’t quit barking when I went down to let management know. She said dogs were not allowed but service dogs are and that they will let the manager know. Dog continued to bark until about 9:45 not sure if it continued because I had to sleep with my TV on to drown out the bark to wake up at five for work.

    I booked this hotel because all the reviews seemed pretty positive. We were pretty disappointed when we got to the room though. The floor was dirty and smelt like weed, the chain on one of the curtains was broken off, the bathtub was kinda of gross and there was hair on the ceiling above it.If you are booking for more than 4 people and hoping to use the pull out couch I would go somewhere else, it was not sleep-able and had no cushioning at all. I sat on it and felt only wires, folded it right back up and just laid on the sofa. The only good thing was the service, the cleaning ladies and the front desk were always nice during interactions. Sorry for blurry pictures, first thing we did was take a video and these are screenshots from it.

    Breakfast was very basic and I had waffles almost every day. The coffee was decent, but I wish they had more creamer options. On the last day, they ran out of the vanilla creamer and did not replace it. The room itself was spacious, but it looks like there was some furniture missing and only had a king size bed with a chair nearby. A dining table would’ve been convenient. Additionally, there were no dressers in the room so if you’d like to put away your clothes, you can’t do it here. The worst part about the room was the sounds from the hallway. The door was not sealed and I heard every noise that came down the hallway. One night somebody was filling their cooler with ice at 11 PM. It was very difficult to fall back asleep. During the day, I would hear housekeeping vacuuming the hallway. There was no housekeeping provided while I was in the room for four days. I will find a different hotel next time I’m in the area.

    This hotel was so beautiful I forgot it was a Comfort Inn. However, it looks as if they've replaced everything BUT the tubs. It looks like they ran out of money and decided to paint (not kidding) the tub/shower. It looks awful and my husband wouldn't even use it.

    There were two areas that could use improvement. First, I wasn’t able to connect to the WiFi from my room, which was inconvenient since I had planned to work comfortably from my bed rather than in the lobby. Second, the continental breakfast setup wasn’t very user-friendly. There was only one waffle maker, and about 13 people waiting in line. Staff were present, but no one seemed to be monitoring the coffee station or restocking items as they ran low. I ended up grabbing a yogurt and banana just to get going, but the space didn’t feel designed to accommodate the flow of guests during busy hours. That said, the overall experience was positive, and I would consider staying again. A few small adjustments could make a big difference. Thank you to the team for the warm hospitality.

    Couldn’t even stay here had to get a full refund after driving 5 hours from Iowa. Had to get another hotel last minute at 2 am. They overbooked the property. Tried to enter our room but someone was inside and screamed when we used the keycards to enter. Front desk claimed they had another room for us but we opted not to after thinking well the same thing will happen to us where someone has the room booked to and tries to get in as well. I will never book at any comfort inn ever again. Highly recommend going to the Marriott Aloft up the street basically. Very professional clean and no overbooking.

    The bathroom appeared to not have been cleaned prior to our arrival. Bathtub/shower had a lot of physical damage, cracked with rust, and was dirty. There was an unpleasant odor in our room. There were plug in type air fresheners in the halls I guess trying to cover up the odor. One of the elevators was broken and standing open and ajar on the 1st floor. Several areas of the building showed signs of water damage with paint peeling off walls. Light fixture above coffee pot not working. Mold in bathroom around the tub/shower. Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate.

    My room looked totally remodeled except for the bathtub. Bathtub had rust and crude under the assistance bars, was very discolored and I chose not to use it.     Initially there was a strange man walking around…. I hesitated to get out my car until he disappeared. Check in was nice, the lady was very welcoming. Cute lemon water option in the lobby. The property presented to be well kept. The room, stuffy, a smell, sheets were not clean and had to be changed which they took care of immediately. The bathroom tub and walls of the shower look like they just don’t clean in between guests. I did spent a great deal of time cleaning. Minor noise in the halls at time. 2 night stay was fine overall.

    when u first walk in very nice but rooms are not.Had to switch rooms after it taking me over 30 minutes to get checked in.The receptionist kept telling me i was wrong location and that there were no reservations made. i had made my reservation Aug.28th.She was really rude.I had no hot water in the first room .The headboard fell off wall as soon as i sat on bed.Bought fell on me.All the manager would say was oh my.Will never stay there again

    This hotel was great! Beautiful, clean, spacious bathroom. The room itself was also quite roomy. Air conditioning got quite cool. Mattress was too soft for our liking. TV a bit muffled for movies. I would definitely stay there again at a good price point.

    The hotel is located near the freeway and close to other stores. The rooms were a little outdated but nicely designed. Tub could use an upgrade and the toilet seat was broken, but we made it work. Breakfast was good, but the best part was the staff. From checkin to checkout, all of our interactions with the front desk staff and cleaning crew was excellent. We would definitely stay again!

    They clearly didn’t clean the shower. There was hair all over the floor and walls. So many ants in the room and a cockroach under the sink in the bathroom. I didn’t feel clean there. Also the walls are so thin you could hear the morning alarm of the person in the room next to you and people in the hallway speaking sound like they are in the room with you. Could also hear people using the toilet and flushing.

    Bed had small blood stain on sheet; otherwise appeared clean. Bathroom vanity and sink were new and clean. Tub was dirty and appeared to have been painted over - paint was peeling and bottom was very slick and dangerous. Trash was falling out of outside receptacles and were not emptied during our two day stay. Breakfast area and lobby were very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

    While effort has been put into updating the property, There was mold in the bathtub, stuff from previous occupants under the bathroom sink and someone was smoking in an adjacent room which we could smell in our room. When brought to the staff, they were nice to our face, but failed to follow through on promises to clean up the mess in the bathroom.
