Courtyard by Marriott Asheville Airport

I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years and this one was one of my top 3 best hotels for a great affordable price! We had a really long overnight flight and it was so nice to check in early to get some sleep before the festivities! Nicole at the front desk was super awesome and we truly enjoyed our stay! Such a nice touch to get a little goodie bag when we checked in that had waters and snacks in it. I was also very impressed with the shower pressure! It's the best that I have ever had in a hotel. The only downsides were the pool wasn't warm so we didn't go swimming and the cleaning staff came into our room because they weren't informed ahead of time that we checked in early to the room.

I’ve stayed at this location in the past, must but I had no idea it was possible to drive a hotel property into the dirt. In Asheville NC? This property advertised free breakfast, although I was only expecting a Continental breakfast however, there was nothing free about it. Free coffee? Nope, $5 coffee and free lemon water in a tiny cup which was heavy on the lemon and was impossible to drink. How can anyone screw up lemon water? Just wait! Upon checking in I was told about their indoor pool however, I was warned that it might be too cold to enter. Oh boy, a challenge! Apparently the pool maintenance company forgot to tell them that the entire appeal of an indoor pool was that it was supposed to be HEATED! Since I’ve already used half of my available characters I better stick to brevity. They do offer food for sale in the evening from 5:30-9:30pm and that’s where I found beautiful looking Buffalo Hot Wings. The rubber meat under the skin was appalling(they also use butter, not margarine)so I told my waitress/bartender. “I’m sorry you don’t like,”was the response and then, she just left.Not another word said until I asked her to tell her manager “I’m not going to pay for this and I’d like something else please.”The manager’s eyes never left his quest to find a TV show and with just a nod a turkey, bacon,avocado club w/side salad appeared! Oh Boy, how can anyone screw up, yeah they did. 2-slices bread, thin sweep of green spread(?)store sliced turkey and bacon.That’s all folk

This is our go to hotel when we travel out of the Asheville airport. Always a great stay.

The room was clean and spacious. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Plenty of shops and eating places close by.

Heater was out on the indoor pool. The pool was the main reason I booked this hotel, so I was bummed. There was dripping water from the ceiling in the lobby. Otherwise the hotel was very nice. My room was spotless as well as comfortable. There was no free breakfast

I have stayed here many times over the last six years. They have been remodeling and every time I come it is better and better. Our room had all new furniture and carpeting; the bed was fantastic. It is convenient to lots of shopping.

We had stayed there many times but this time the room had just been remodeled and the shower had no water at all. Staff said I am sorry we are remodeling. No attempt to get us a shower. No longer the hotel us was I am sad to say. Will gave to look for another.

The hotel is under serious construction the lobby and the parking lot are basically a staging area for construction. No one was ever at the front desk. Pool ,deck closed No one attending the front desk,no airport shuttle,ended up taking Uber rude manager.

The coffee shop/ bar was extremely expensive. 30.00 for 2 glasses of wine. No complimentary nuts or anything.

Clean nice room. Lobby was exceptional No one working front desk upon check in. Employee complained about employee who should have been at front desk desk. Employee who checked me in did not know what he was doing. 2. Why do couples need to eat breakfast at the same time? My husband ate early while I dressed and I had to pay for my meal even though I already paid for room breakfast included.

This location was perfect for a night's stay before having to catch a very early flight. It's a quick 4 minutes from the airport. We left too early to take advantage of the breakfast but the staff were friendly and the room was clean and very comfortable. Having the Cracker Barrel right next door to walk to for a quick dinner without having to get back in the car and drive somewhere made our stay even better.

We are used to staying at Hilton‘s and Hampton Inn. Our stay at Courtyard Marriott was disappointing. To begin with, we were given the keys to a room that had not yet been cleaned. The property was right next to the airport. The staff was very helpful and kind and switched our room to one where our son could watch airplanes take off and land from our window. The room was very spacious and had a great mountain view as well. The bathroom didn’t have an exhaust fan and a shower wand would have been extremely helpful for childcare. The breakfast area was very nice but the menu layout and ordering process was confusing first thing in the morning.

The room itself is very outdated and has a strong musty smell. Thankfully, we’re only here for one night—we arrived around 10 p.m. and are leaving early in the morning to drop our boys off at camp. But honestly, I’m surprised by the positive reviews this place has received. This has not been a great experience for us.

Overall was great. I would ask for non-highway/airport side room next time. Didnt hear any planes but trucks and motorcycles passing were occasionally loud.

Pleasant stay but there’s no continental breakfast, only half of the tv remote buttons worked and according to the wife the toilet paper was very cheap and rough. The staff was friendly and the facility is very clean but I wouldn’t want to stay more than the one night we did.

The power went out while we were at a wedding in Asheville. When we returned to the hotel we had to check out and go somewhere else. We still have not received our refund for the night we did not stay. My card was charged.

we stayed at 3 properties this trip, Holiday Inn Knoxville, Hampton Inn and Suites Nashville and Courtyard by Marriot and Hands down this was the best hotel. extremely close to Cracker Barrel which was a plus and the shower was so good, my wife took a picture of the showerhead and now I have to buy one.

The staff was very nice and worked hard. They were on the spot for any needs and the room was clean. We had an issue with the toilet running but someone was there within five minutes to fix it. If you want a full service restaurant this is not the place to go. The bartender had kitchen equipment and a cold holding food unit at the bar to make the bar food. If anything was fried she had to go behind the wall to do it and the customers were left with no service. She did a great job and didn't let the stress get to her. There were only two bar chairs so everyone else had to stand to order and go sit somewhere else. We thought she was trying to train another employee on the register but he was just asking questions about how she was ringing things up. He was her manager and didn't offer to help her or even say hello to anyone. We will go back but know what to expect next time.

We had a handicap accessible room. And it was convenient and well set up for use. Area was easy to use wheelchair in all areas.

Slightly disappointed the water feature wasn't working at the pool, it is why we chose this hotel... however, overall stay was great! Very friendly staff, very clean, beautiful mountain view. Would definitely come back!

No airport to hotel shuttle service after 4 pm on day of arrival, Sunday, May 5. We were told by desk clerk that they were short of personnel and to take a taxi/uber from the airport to the hotel...not easy to do at the Asheville Airport. We had to ask around to get the number for the Asheville Taxi Service and it required a lot of walking to get to the pickup post plus we had to stand - no benches - waiting for our ride. We are in our mid-80s so this was very uncomfortable. We were also told that the hotel would reimburse us the $25.15 it cost for the ride but so far no credit has been issued. We picked this hotel since it advertised free shuttle service on their website. The desk clerks were not helpful. On a positive note the Monday morning shuttle was in operation and got us to the airport as planned.

My husband & I drove over to NC for a family gathering. This hotel was spot on. It was quiet & clean! . They have a cafe with Starbucks drink, & a nice breakfast. We will be going back over & this is where wecwill stay going forward.

This is definitely one of the nicest all around hotels I've stayed at. You don't typically find a hotel of this quality for this price. Everything was snice, clean and comfortable. Every single person that we dealt with during our stay was friendly and helpful. We would definitely consider staying here again if we're in the area.

There wre plenty of towels and other bath products. The close proximity to the airport was a plus. We will definitely stay ther on our next trip to Asheville

A wonderful night. We had a room facing the airport/26. And it was quiet except for maybe a couple larger planes and the one F-16. Nice view of the mountains. Close to restaurants and services. Super clean and comfortable room and property. No complimentary breakfast but it’s right next to a Cracker Barrel. And a nice fire pit to hang out at the end of the night. Sierra Nevada Brewing is a quick drive away. I would definitely stay again.

Our flight out of town got canceled, and the staff was very accommodating to all of our last-minute needs. I would love to stay there again.

Excellent place to stay! We were here for two nights during the NC Mountain State Fair. Conveniently located less than 5 minutes from the fair grounds, we had such a pleasant experience staying here. The staff were friendly, the hotel is gorgeous, room was very clean, and pool/gym/courtyard were great perks that we also enjoyed. 5 stars all around!
