I was only there to work and sleep, so I didn't have the opportunity to make use of the pool nor gym. Breakfast was decent compared to what I paid for the room. On-duty staff at 4 p.m. on Friday (May 15) was very courteous and helpful.

All was good

All of the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The rooms were vey clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good and had something for the whole family.

The pool was not open/ready.

I was happy with the facility overall but very disappointed in Expedia for what was charge for this daily $107 room rate. I was charged $400 per day.....I won't ever book my room in Highpoint thru expedia again. I felt ROBBED!

Outside the hotel may make you feel like you’re going to have a bad experience but when you enter it’s just like the pictures if not better! Staff was very helpful and friendly, and housekeeping was great as well. My room was very clean on arrival, only thing I would update is towels and rags, also the shower head but other than that it was worth the stay

We just had a quick stopover and while the hotel was in the middle of some updates there were signs of wear and tear. There was nothing terrible, staff very nice, breakfast quite decent, safe and clean. It fit our needs!😁

We drove out of the way to stay at this location with an indoor pool. However, we arrived to an empty pool. The indoor pool is only open seasonally. I had 3 disappointed girls with me.

From not being greeted when i walked in and no one at the front desk to an indoor pool being closed for the season but says nothing about it on the site to the room was just old and dirty looking. Not the best hotel. And for the price im glad we only stayed 1 night.

Staff was excellent. Very informative and friendly! The breakfast was also good. Would recommend room renovations as there were a few wall cracks and the mattresses or mattress pads can use replacements. Great value for the stay overall.

Great clean room. Almost perfect room darkening shades (light leakage at upper corners is a design flaw, but really liked the extra edge guides that assisted in darkening the room). Great interaction with the front desk staff. Well stocked breakfast!

The lady that host breakfast every morning is amazing. My husband and I were the only ones that had to leave every morning by 5:15 and she made sure we had a full course meal every morning. She was the reason we stayed at the specific place for 3 weeks regardless of the price

Dirty rooms and dirty bedding and furniture , no maid service, had to ask for clean towels more than once and took out own trash. Will never stay here again!

I stayed here once before and had a decent stay. This time around, the room wasn’t all that clean. Dirty walls, floors. Staff wasn’t friendly this time either.

A few local and fast food restaurants close by. The bed was fine, but I don't understand why they switched to mini pillows instead of a few standard size pillows. Not very comfortable.

We stay here 1 time a year on our way to the beach. I made the reservation in January & i asked for a first floor room if possible. We didnt get it & when i asked about it ,the receptionist said ...we have workers that get tbe 1st floor. She wasn't the friendliest. I requested it last year also & we got it. Other than that our stay qas fine.

We typically stay here when we come to the High Point area. We have never experienced a bad stay. Rooms are always clean, comfortable, affordable, and convenient.

We arrived close to midnight to check in. We went to our room and the bathroom toilet was obviously never cleaned and pubic hairs could be seen on the seat and back of the toilet. It was so late we just wanted to go to sleep so I had to clean the toilet myself. Also the bed wasn’t fully made. Was in town for High Point Market. First of all this place jacks up the price to 3x it's regular rate for this show. Our first room smelled aggressively musty and moldy. Rm 124. (complete with fist punch marks on the wall - classy) Our second room, (Rm 220) had slippery/slimy floors that I manually wiped up myself bc it was a hazard and making me sick to walk on even in shoes. The first day I awoke to a fire alarm that went off for about 10 minutes. There was an indoor pool, but no water in it - so not usable. The room was not cleaned the second night so I had to call down for towels. After walking 21K steps a day at the Market I come back to see the elevator was broken. The next morning, it's still broken and need to haul my luggage down a flight of stairs. My card was charged without my consent and the manger, John Patel is no where in sight and has not returned my phone call yet. AVOID this place at all costs.

Elevator inoperable. We get to 1st floor room, found door propped open by folded washcloth jammed in top. Visible paper bits on the floor by where the trashcan should've been but it was sitting up on the desk? Bed 1- SO bumpy, lumpy & squeaky, I wondered if it was even intact! Pillows are all cut in half, filled with chunks with such lack of proper support made breathing difficult, **so no rest to actually be had here** Around 4am I requested another room hoping for rest, never asked for refund, only to pay more- was denied because of time of night? Left early, lost $ = FAIL

When we checked in, we found out that the Wi-Fi was not working the last two days and the pool was not available. We checked into our room but found a lot of garbage and the floor was not vacuumed someone was also complaining that the washer and dryer were not available either so you should’ve been stated upon booking.

We intentionally picked this hotel so our kids could swim while one of us did laundry. When we arrived to check in, the pool was empty, with a sign saying it was closed for the season. There was nothing on the website saying the pool was seasonal. So we went to do laundry, and were notified by staff that the dryer didn't work. The cherry on top was the Internet was shut off, so no wifi either. We could have picked a cheaper hotel with no pool if we knew. Very frustrating experience.

This is a down market Comfort Inn. They do not even have “real” pillows, rather small throw (or decorative) sized pillows to sleep on. Also the room was just not that clean. The staff however was kind. No issue with staff. The condition of the hotel is totally not the fault of the staff. There is a Fairfield Inn next door - I would try there.

The first room they gave us was not cleaned no sheets on the bed. Dirty linens all around and the door to the room was open- not locked. The second room in which we stayed was very hot air conditioning was not on and smelled funny. The shower had mold coming through the paint on the inside of the shower. The dry wall around the shower was peeling and moldy. The shower curtain was 2 feet too short, the water soaked the floor. To top it off there was no water available all night, couldn’t flush the toilet, shower or wash your hands until 6:30 the next morning. We couldn’t even get a discount on the room rate due to the water because we booked through Expedia! Won’t stay at this place ever again.

The room was not so great. The floor in the bathroom and entry way had some disgusting sticky stuff on it - we used a wet towel and mopped it with our feet. The carpet looked like it was updated, so that was nice. The shower curtain was so gross with lots of stains and marks. The drain in the shower had some nasty stuff around it. When we turned on the air conditioning stuff came flying out and went all over the quilt covering the duvet. When we went downstairs to ask them to change it, the woman there said she can give me a comforter to change myself, then gave me the duvet. I told her that it wasn’t the duvet, it was the cover on the duvet and she didn’t understand at all. So, we just folded it over and pretended it wasn’t there. If you are expecting any type of assistance or cleaning, don’t stay here.

The staff was not extremely friendly, they have bath tubs but if you want to take a bath that is out of the question because they don’t offer bath stoppers. The breakfast was delicious. The walls are extremely thin. We could hear the people in the room next to us throughout the night. Beds are comfortable though

Would not recommend. Room was 85 when we checked in. Shower curtain and other racks were bent. Staff was not welcoming.

Opened room and it was steamy from shower and wet towels in bathroom and room floor. No one to clean room left after 4pm we were there at 430pm. Needed a room w 2 beds. Got one with 1. Not cool by any means.

Place wasn’t bad, it was clean. The only issue I had was with the mattress. After I slept on it my back was sore for a few days.

Property appears to be in final stage of restoration.. was.probably a low 2 star before renovations. Will be a good 3 star when fully renovated. Wifi had some ssues but thats a Spectrum Cable problem. Rooms have been redone but the work is a little sloppy. Breakfast was good with make your own waffles, cereal, hot eggs, sausage, potatoes or biscuits with assorted breads yogurts and fruit. Can't complain. Has a small indoor pool that should probably be deep sixed for a bar/restaurant instead.

We needed toilet paper and the front desk staff said they did not have any toilet paper in the entire building. The rooms were old and dingy. Needs major updating.

It's a busy area so a bit noisy but lots of options for dinj g and shopping. A bit lively for my taste.

Lots of food, shopping and convenience stores nearby. We have stayed here twice and will continue to stay here on our travels to this area.

This hotel was run down. Towel hooks were literally hanging off the wall, everything was worn and there were ants literally crawling on the bed. Evening staff was unpleasant. Wish we would have stayed next door instead.

Found cockroaches in our rooms. Linens seemed dirty.

The room above us had a kid that was not raised like our kids was. It was not the kids fault, the parents had know respect for other people, they didn’t care if we had to getup at 5:00 and hit the road. That kid sounded like he was throwing bowling balls on the floor above us. I was expecting to see his leg come through our ceiling. I called down to the front desk shortly before midnight and informed them if this did not stop, I was calling the cops. They did go and talk with the people and the noise finally stopped about 30 minutes later. My wife and I if lucky got about 4 hours sleep.

Property is small and a little worn but it was clean and staff was friendly. We only stayed 1 night for an event nearby so it met our needs. I like that there were microwaves in the rooms. Often that’s not the case even though the hotels are newer and larger. Southern Family style restaurant is right down the street and was excellent. Parking is limited as it’s a small hotel but again it was clean and served our purposes for a short stay.
