From arrival to departure, our stay was really comfortable. All the staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I want to extend our appreciation especially to the staff who managed the breakfast area as they worked tirelessly in providing a range of hot breakfasts and ensured everything was topped up regularly, and the housekeeping staff who were also tireless continuing to make our room a welcoming place throughout our stay

The room and bathroom were clean. The front desk people were lovely and helpful. We didn't get a chance to use the pool. It is centrally located to restaurants. Our only issues were with sound and the thermostat. We could literally hear our neighbor unzip their suitcase. I was taking a shower and heard what I thought was my wife getting back into the room... it was a different door. It was trash day th next morning and we were woken up by the banging of dumpsters at 8 a.m.. It sounded like we had a window open. There was a pretty seemingly permanent sign on the thermostat stating it was broken. The breakfast room was understaffed. They were out of so much food. They were trying their hardest to restock as fast as possible. We're still up on the air if we will stay there the next time we're in town.

Bed comfortable and the room clean. However, we have stayed in this particular property many times over the last twenty years, and rooms were always nicely appointed after redecorating. Unfortunately, this time the rooms were redone and the new furnishings are cheap looking and there is absolutely no decoration whatsoever. It felt like we were staying in an ascetic’s cell. Very disappointing. I would expect a lot more for the price point.

Like the free breakfast the most, which consists of various selection that are delicious. I am an early bird so the free breakfast really helps. Also like the free coffee and hot water that are available 24/7. I drink hot water so really appreciate the availability...Hotel staff are very friendly and the room is really clean. This hotel is always my first choice going to mainland. Thank you all and I really enjoyed my stay there.

The hotel is very nice, rooms are large, with microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. TV channels were OK. The breakfast was good-the basically the same every day. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. There was coffee available in the lobby all the time. It would have been nice if there had been more scrambled eggs and bacon. We were there for 6 nights, and only had scrambled eggs and bacon one morning. Also, it seemed like the breakfast attendants had a long way to walk to bring the food. It would have been much better for them to have the kitchen right next to the breakfast area.

I was running behind and Pauline helped me out to make sure I could check in late, she left note hwr co qorker and when I got tgwre everything went vwry smooth to check in

The fire alarm went off at 2:30 am. Fire dept came within 10 minutes. Later that day we asked the hotel staff the reason for the fire alarm and no one knew anything about it! Other than that, the stay was ok and the breakfast was good.

The hotel is in a nice area with lots of shops and restaurants. We found it to be clean and well -kept, with very welcoming staff. The bathroom has plenty of storage, which is a plus for 3 girls!

This was a great stay. My room was clean, everything was in good condition, the mini fridge kept all my food cold and the microwave was clean and worked. The bathroom was really nice, too. Breakfast was included every morning with pretty decent selections and good coffee. There are a lot of decent places to eat nearby too. Zero complaints & would stay here again if back in the area.

I stayed in this Hampton Inn three times. I always like the hotel that is not facing the main road; plenty of restaurants nearby. Breakfast is good, 24 hours tea/coffee in the lobby area, parking is good, always feel safe. The air condition could be loud, it depends on which room you stay, we turned it off when we sleep. I wish they use liquid hand and shower soap instead of the bar soap.

For a Hampton Inn, it was just OK. Rooms were big enough, beds were comfy, but it was a plain-jane hotel. No pictures on the walls, decorating was so-so, but it was a decent night's sleep and the room was quiet. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast, free, but normal waffles and fruit, oatmeal, etc. Parking was easy and free. I would stay again only if the price was very competitive.

Breakfast was unbelievably good, ... and wholesome. Staff was great both in response and cheerfulness.

Breakfast was superb, and the location is great. It’s about 18 miles from Universal Studios, but with weekday traffic it took us around 30–40 minutes to get there. The hotel is in good condition overall. My only complaint is that the bathroom door was really hard to open and close.

This property is fine for a short stay. My biggest complaint is the HVAC in rooms, loud, constantly going on and off (window units). Better than average breakfast.

Great place to stay, location unbeatable, walkable, kind people everywhere. Nice area. I felt safe and clean and well taken care of.

What started as a 3-night turned into a 13-night stay due to extended repairs needed on our home. Staff was very helpful with arranging the extension of our stay, especially when we had to move to a different room bc they ran out of 2 queen bed rooms due to a large previous booking. Communication between day and night front desk staff was top notch, so folks were able to anticipate what assistance we needed. Will definitely “live” here again when we do more major house repairs. :)

Nice hotel. Probably the best in the cluster of hotels especially for the money. It was quiet the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. I really think the location in Arcadia is very handy.

They said the pool was heated but it was very cold. The lounge chairs were hard and uncomfortable to sit it.

Old facility, AC is very loud. Tiny bugs showed up on the table, didn't really bother me but if you're scared of insects it could be a problem. Front desk lady is OK, but surprised me that they only give out complimentary water to their members.

The room was spotless and thankfully, did not smell like anything at all! Props to the EVS team!! The staff were all super nice and very helpful. The only things that were less than perfect were the bed, which was pretty hard, and the noise in the hallway, which is kind of my bad. I requested a room on the 1st floor and didn't realize that the hallway flooring is tile. I'll know for next time.

I have chosen to stay in this hotel for years whenever I came to visit LA. The property was recently renovated.

Convenient location, friendly staff and breakfast/coffee fit the bill. Like many hotels, due for some refurbishment but definitely a good value.

The room was good for the most part. I would suggest deep cleaning the carpets and the cloth chairs as it can seen it has not been deeply cleaned in some time.

Originally we had a room with a off putting aroma. We requested a new room and they quickly accomodated the request. Everything after that was perfect. Breakfast was tasty, with full variety and attentive staff keeping the area clean and the tables cleared. Check in and out were a breeze especially the lady at the desk as we left (she had the most cheerful attitude). Highly recommend.

Everything was good. I had an Amazon Package delivered, and they took it to my room while I was at a doctor's appointment. Someone grabbed it and threw it in the trash. It was unopened and obviously had something in it. I got an apology but no compensation for the loss. They had mentioned get ahold of Amazon to see if they will replace it. I do not think it is Amazon's fault.

The only down side to staying there is the there was no body wash IN THE SHOWER!!! We just got a tiny bar of soap that 3 people had to share! Most hotels provide body wash in the shower along with the shampoo.

We stayed here for a wedding. The area is very nice and quiet. The hotel was well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was very nice. The staff was super helpful. For the most part the room was clean. There were so toothpaste splotches all over the wood trim along the sink, probably from a previous guest with an electric toothbrush, but still kind of yucky. The air conditioner was pretty loud. The bed was very comfortable. I’d stay again.

There was so much to see. So many shop, food, and entertainment. The view of the mountain was beautiful. The hotel was clean and staff was very nice.

The room was clean and recently upgraded. The staff was nice and helped me out when I realized I forgot toothpaste. The breakfast area was kept clean. Overall a nice and safe place to stay for a solo traveler.

Staff were polite and agreeable. Disliked Havinga two queen bed room and one night stand between. Not convenient at all. Also there was one chair in the room designed for 4 people. Again inconvenient as there was no where else to sit except on a bed.

My prepaid stay at the Hampton Inn was terrible. I arrived a little before 3pm check in and was told their computers were down. Stood around for a half hour & was told their computers were still down would not be up until after 6pm. Clerk said there was nothing he could do & refused to allow me into the room. I cancelled & went to another hotel for that night.

Our 3rd floor carpet appeared to be pretty new but was not vaccumed and needed a shampoo.

Everything was good, but 2 observations: 1 would be nice to have a nice smell in the entrance 2. I was a bit nervous that people could come in and get into the elevator without a key.

Love that the gym is 24hrs, clean pool, walking distance to nearby restaurants and strip malls. Easy off and onto the highway. Will definitely try to stay here again.

Alma at the front desk isn't the most pleasant nor communicative person; she has a bit of an attitude. When we checked in, the room was clearly cleaned in a mediocre way. Hair on the bathroom floor was not what we had planned.

For the price including the breakfast and shopping near by and convenient, it is very good.

The lobby and breakfast area were lovely and the entire property was nice and clean. The staff were friendly, it was a convenient location for our needs, and there was plenty of free parking Sadly, the mattress was uncomfortable. The only suggestion I would make is to upgrade the mattress and bedding.

Very good hotel. Regular sized rooms. Good service, did not need anything special. Ice and water station. Breakfast was good and the sitting area was nice. Good coffee. We were just passing through so I dont know about the surroundings.

Smooth check-in. Our room was a 2 queen bed room. Large bathroom with bath and shower. Plenty of towels and flannels for us all to use. Room was spacious enough for us and included a fridge and microwave. Although we didn’t use it, the gym was small but looked good. My son used the pool and loved it. There was a complimentary breakfast available in the lobby which was quite extensive. There were cereals, cooked options and a waffle maker.

Hot breakfast was small but decent. My room had stains and hair on the sheets and blanket. When you walk in the lobby reeks of smoke.

My stay there was okay. its not upto hilton standard.

Staff and cleanliness good. Breakfast area can get crowded, but was good. Building does show age. Rooms and building area have some old stuffiness to it. Overall good for the price.

The food selection was good but not much available for someone with a dairy allergy and corn allergy…no dairy free milk to even have cereal. The only thing I could eat was the oatmeal and it was runny…which is not very appetizing to me.

Best part of the trip was the friendly employee that checked us in. Besides that, the bed was so uncomfortable, felt like we slept on the floor, could feel the springs, gave us 2 towels only, the shower had very little pressure and with a female with long thick hair, that’s a problem. The pool definitely needs cleaning. The hotels offers breakfast on weekends and before 815 the food was gone, no fruit, no waffle mix, no nothing. Definitely will not be staying at this location again.

Had a pretty good stay here with my family. The parking lot is nicely lit and there's plenty of space to park. I was happy to hear that Hampton Inn does free breakfast for all hotel members. I stayed at a Marriott previously and just because I added my kid as a 3rd person, no free breakfast. That was a definite bonus. My room was far from the elevator so it was nice and quiet. The only 2 things that bothered me was that the shower was also a bathtub, which in itself is fine, but there was no faucet for a bath? The showerhead DOES switch to a stream setting for that purpose, but it took FOREVER to fill the bath for my wife. The other thing that bothered me was that the concierge made it a point to tell me there was coffee and tea available whenever, but the coffee and tea dispensers only dispensed cold liquid. I heated it up myself, but other than that, it was a pretty good stay.

Great location to stay, this is our 2nd time staying here they updated the flooring which I am grateful for since we bring our little maltese. They have the BEST coffee!

And to make matters worse there was someone smoking on the second floor and smelled of cigarettes. Not cool in a non-smoking hotel.

The property was so clean and the bed was comfortable, the only things that I disliked was the breakfast because they didn't serve Halal food.

The room and hotel was clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. The hotel is in a nice area.

Hotel is being renovated but the newly decorated rooms are still not quite right. Renovations are incomplete. New carpet but old fixtures. Hopefully they complete a total renovation as the location is very nice.

We called the front desk three times during our stay about the empty shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion dispensers. The first time, it took them over two hours to bring refills. Housekeeping gets 3 stars from us for that. We didn't use the pool, but breakfast was good.

Clean and quiet and convenient free sel parking. Stayed many times and will again. New renovations look very nice but are not convenient to use. Example, bathroom door slide to become a closet door. One or the other but not both can be closed at the same time. Also it is potentially dangerous as I exited the bathroom my wife opened the closet door had hit me with the door. Also the shower has beautiful new glass panels. One panel is fixed and one slides to allow access to the shower. The shower head is on the fixed side and there is no diverter so to turn on the water you have to be in the shower and submitt to a cold blast of water every time you turn it on. They also shut off my TV for a day wile I was watching it and replaced it with a better system but gave no notice or applology for the temporary lack of service.

Always stay at this location. Is very close to Children Hospital Arcadia. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is very good, a variety of options.

Bed was rock hard and pillows were lumpy. Staff are great and very friendly.

Loved this hotel. We were there three nights. Everything is clean and updated. Newer carpet, bedding, furniture, bathroom. Pool was very nice to take the kids into. This part of Arcadia was very nice as well. Nice area of LA, felt safe, lots of restaurants, shops, stores and easy access to the freeways. We stayed at another hotel in Arcadia for a couple days and for just a little more per night this hotel was far better to stay in. Would definitely recommend.

Parking lot with shipping containers reduces parking spaces on the weekend. The old furniture looks gross in the parking lot. Hallway carpeting looks like it needs replacement.

My teenage son and I stayed at this property for 4 nights while we were attending a couple of FIFA Club World Cup soccer matches at the Rose Bowl. This hotel was a perfect place for us. Staff was very nice, location next to the freeway was excellent, dining options across the street (BJ's, Olive Garden, Outback Steakhouse), the complimentary breakfast was plentiful and delicious, the room was very clean, all amenities worked without any issues, the place was quiet and the neighborhood was very safe. Excellent all around

Only thing, coming back late in the evenings, I noticed some guests need a parking lesson or two parking on angles or taking up 2 spots.

Room had just been redone and was well designed and clean. Breakfast was good. A generally good experience.

I have stayed here in the past and it was much better then. The property is clearly in a long, slow decline as is much of the area around it.

Checkin was smooth, room was clean and comfortable.

Room was nice and clean with a decent shower. My only downside was being on the ground floor I couldn’t really open the window or the curtains/drapes

The only thing we didn't care for was the low height of the toilet (we're in our 70s) and the shower faucet didn't adjust up or down nor right, left - just one position. It also didn't have a good spray option that worked properly.

Called Front Desk for extra soap, but did not deliver. Ice bucket had pieces of chips. Breakfast wasn’t as good as the Reviews posted. However, we’d stay there again not for the service or breakfast, but for the location, family friendliness and a comforting good night’s rest.

Easy, quick check in and check out. Very clean. 24 hours supply of tea, coffee, hot water. Hotel service personnel are very hard working. Bedroom is clean and carpet is clean and fresh. I stayed in room 433. Is a little noisy from the train. Overall, it is awesome. The strawberry waffle is light and special. Will definitely stay there in all my future visits. Keep it up.
