    While staying we had an issue with cockroaches around the premises and our card key would stop working at times so we would be locked out of the room until the front desk would reset it. Our room even had some sort of white powder split all over a corner of the wall by the bathroom. Everything looked as if it was just briefly cleaned. Or barely wiped down.

    I was placed in the third floor and it smelled SO BAD. Like genuinely. It was so bad that I asked to be switched out of the room, but the smell made me so nauseous that I threw up the whole night. Day 2 of my trip was spent in a hotel bed because of this place. I tried to wait for the manager to arrive the next morning but he/she never came in. I left as soon as possible because I couldn’t stay in that place anymore. Do yourself a favor, spend that $30 extra and don’t come here :) Still waiting to be contacted by the manager. I left all my information and that was a week ago.

    The price, bed, kitchen in the room We found a cockaroach in the bathroom and had to kill it. No utilities like soap for handwashing or for showering. Fake advertisement of breakfast. Finally, the keycards didnt work.

    There are no doors on any of the cabinets. Which of course this being a pet friendly hotel, made it really difficult to keep the cat food away from the cats. Also, when I called about the pet fee I was given a lower rate than what I was given at the front desk. The door was incredibly difficult to open to the room, and some guy came in with a power tool to just like shave it I guess? That didn't get fixed. The ceiling in the bathroom has peeling paint and it's just slowly flaking over everything in the bathroom. The staff were kind. They provided what they could, and admitted when they couldn't. The biggest problem here is miscommunication. Multiple people had different information about amount of guests. Who was staying in my room. It was a circus.

    Bed and chairs were comfortable. Amenities in the room were all right. Exterior of the premises could be cleaner. There was trash strewn about, and the walkways certainly needed cleansing. Floor in the corridors also needed cleaning with trash strewn there, too. Refrigerator had water leaking from somewhere inside. Clock was not available in the room either.

    I’m a firm believer you get what you pay for! This room was very inexpensive. The bed was comfortable and clean, but the hallway had a wretched smell and I’m pretty sure the trash room was full and the door wouldn’t shut so the smell poured out it was disgusting. I should’ve changed rooms but I didn’t. We were on the 3rd for refernce.

    Not worth the almost $100 at all. Picture shows the “included breakfast” .. this is pathetic. What a waste of money and definitely not probably mentioned. Also booked a 1 bed for a reason and first room given was two bed and had to request for the room booked originally.

    The staff were understanding and very helpful when we checked out shortly after checking in due to how dirty our room was. There was a cockroach issue, the floor was sticky in places, and there were food particles on the floor in our room. The hotel is older which isn't an issue, but the cleanliness was problematic, and I did not feel like I could stay there for the night.

    The pictures in the app were nothing like what they looked like in real life. The rules were old. They were dirty. The stove was dirty. There was dust all over the toilet was old and dirty. It was not a good stay at all. I will never stay in this hotel again. I took a friend with me and I was very embarrassed because I was paying for the rooms to give us a nice weekend away.

    Should 1st off the lobby was dirty and smelled unclean, the floors look like they haven’t been cleaned in YEARS, as soon as we walked into the room we were met with an overwhelming chemical smell later to be identified as a roach bomb. There was 2 dead roaches on the bed, baby roaches crawling on the bathroom counter. After complaining all I was told was sorry but there is nothing a can do. I couldn’t be switched to another room or get a refund after only being there for 5 minutes. I left and did not stay at this property. Hotels.com should be ashamed to be affiliated with this place

    The heat did not work at all. The remote for the TV didn’t work properly so I had to get another one, and that one didn’t work, so I had to go back to the front desk and get another one. They had given me a room right by the freeway so I heard traffic majority of the night and it took awhile to get to sleep. And then in the morning after a shower there wasn’t a blow dryer to dry my hair with. So all in all it wasn’t a good stay.

    Also my room is next to the highway so it’s really very noisy. I took a photo of a roach in my room ceiling. I also saw them in the hallway with another guest as a witness. I should have taken more photos of baby roaches at night. I should get a refund at least of some of my payment. I’m still thankful I have a place to stay.

    The place was dirty. There were cockroaches. You have to "ask" for shampoo but no one tells you. The shower drain was slow and tub filled. The shower head was in ill repair. It was disgusting and I will never stay in one of those places again.

    The heater didn't work. So staff gave us extra blankets. There wasn't enough hot water. The staff said they couldn't get a technician in for the water heater since it was the holidays. Worst stay ever. The only reason we begrudgingly stayed was because we were just too exhausted to pack up again.

    This hotel was nasty. It was old and run down. The bathroom was not clean. My room was just a few yards from the interstate and was very loud, so much so that I could not sleep. The heat didn’t work in my room and it was very chilly. I left the hotel after one night, despite having an 3 night reservation, and went elsewhere.

    The staff was friendly and it was easy to check in and get my room. The location was close to everything. The room was spacious. We had 2 queen beds and a small kitchen. Beds were comfortable. So if you’re looking for someplace just to rest for the night and you’re in a budget, it did its job. The con’s… the bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. It could have used more attention to detail such as the constant drip from the tub faucet, corners of the tub were dirty, paint was peeling a bit. We found 2 roaches in the kitchen so we made sure to not buy any food and we down not put our bags on the counters. I’ve stayed at a few extended stays that were top quality and this place was decent but I was grossed out about the roaches we saw. :(

    My partner and I stayed here New Years Eve/ Day. At around 8am a lady worker unlocked our door & tried coming inside our room (thinking nobody was in the room). I stepped outside to see if it was room service & saw nothing. I’m only left to believe that they were trying to come inside the room to steal. I will not be staying here anymore.

    The toilet in my room ran all day and night and would not flushhe properly. Since the maintenance crew was on vacation I had to move rooms. The new room smelled like molasses and the windows wouldn't open so cooking wasn't an option. The place is full of cockroaches.

    The best part of this hotel is the location—it’s within walking distance to many attractions, restaurants, and shops. Unfortunately, the rest leaves much to be desired. The staff are spread thin and inconsistent—some are very kind, others can be quite rude. The room I stayed in was not clean upon arrival, and despite assurances, it was never cleaned during my stay. The halls are often dirty, and trash is frequently left around the property. The mattress was lumpy and strange, covered in an unusual plastic that made sleeping uncomfortable. Laundry is a hassle—the machines actually started smoking when I tried to use them, and long-term guests are treated like an afterthought (“bring your towel, we’ll give you another”). Most long-term guests seemed unwell and had support animals, which may be a concern for some. There are a lot of non-guests walking around outside and created an unsafe feeling. Overall, the vibe feels like the staff are doing you a favor by letting you stay rather than providing service for paying guests. I would recommend staying elsewhere.

    Found a roach in the room crawling near the sink (where bath towels are placed). Recorded a video, checked out the hotel because of this. The front desk was unbothered about the roach and would not provide me with anything showcasing I checked out of the hotel. Insisting it would not show I checked out until the 11am check out the following morning which was untrue. Guest relations was closed. So a 800 number for a hotel chain was useless as was any person I came in contact with. Will never book a hotel here nor will I ever use this platform.

    The building is visibly old with heavily stained bath tubs and sinks. I don’t mind those. What I mind was the cleanliness - hairs on the bath tub, cockroach in the bathroom and toilet that had questionable marks in it. I gave it a 3 bec of the price and the staff. Forget about the breakfast altogether.

    Staff. Very unprofessional. I spoke with the manager, Jose, after requesting a room clean. He told me it would be an additional charge and that they could clean that day. I said okay. The room was never cleaned, and the people at the front desk have such attitudes, along with lying about reaching out to the manager. She said Well, nobody is here to clean the room. What happened to hotels serving the customers, and let's start with having enough rooms cleaned that there is never a question of whether they have a room or not. I am booking rooms every week for our guys because we have a job in San Marino.

    Web said house keeping can be done on request. Turned out guests have to stay for two weeks to have rooms cleaned. Guests have to bring down used towels to change new ones. On second day of our stay we did that n the staff said they ran out of fresh towels! Returned at nite, we wanted to do laundry. Turned out machines not working. The room was locked! Breakfast is poorer than basic.Have food on the table. Serve yourself is fine. But nowhere to eat. Had to bring food to the room to eat. We decided to check out one day early. Don’t book this hotel!

    For those of us who lost our House in the fire, this has been a great temporary home. I’ve been in 5 Hotels since the fires, Extended stay Arcadia is Affordable, Convenient, Clean, very comfortable rooms, easy parking, great coffee in the morning, and lots of Restaurants close by.     The room was clean, especially the deluxe room. There are only two of them on the property. The staff was wonderful, especially Jackie. She is one of the managers and she does everything from cleaning rooms to fixing elevators to being personable and professional.

    I have enjoyed my stay and the staff at the Arcadia Extended Stay. All of the folks who work here are courteous and helpful. I would recommend people I know to stay at the Arcadia location. The general manager is professional and takes care of business. The folks who work behind the counter in whatever position they hold are also courteous and professional.

    The staff were friendly and helpful. The "breakfast" was granola bars, instant oatmeal packs, and frozen muffins. Soda vending was $3+ and washer and dryer were $4.50 per each load each machine (so $9 for full wash/dry) -- all vending takes only credit cards. The rooms were clean and a bit outdated, but included conveniences like a reclining chair, dining table, desk, etc. lots of lighting and electric plugs were available. Even though my room faced the busy freeway, it was nearly silent when the windows were closed. Even when the parking lot was nearly full, I barely saw or heard any other guests all week. The water was hot and high pressure and the bed was comfortably firm. The A/c was splendid. The location was 0.7 to 1.0 miles to Metro and stores.

    The people at the front desk were very nice and friendly. The facilities however, were terrible. The room smelled of cooked food and it never dispersed during the time that we were there and the room itself was in the worst condition I have ever seen a hotel. I’ve never stayed in a room that was so badly damaged the table had a broken leg. The wall had a patched up hole and wasn’t painted. The countertops in the kitchen were just battered and burned, and the bathroom itself was terribly dirty. One part of the wall looked like it had mold and the shower had dirt stains. The faucet in the shower was covered with water deposits and a black substance, possibly mold. Behind the door in the living space there were crumbs and other debris on the floor. The bedding also had a footprint on it like someone had stood on the bed. If my friend I had had the ability to stay elsewhere, we would have but due to most of the hotels in the area being sold out due to the Oasis concert, there was nothing we could do. The property itself outside the hotel is not very appealing either. It appears that people sleep in their cars at the hotel. I didn’t feel safe staying here either. In the stairwell, it smelled of marijuana. If I had known it would be this way, we would have booked elsewhere. This is hands down the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

    I will recommend the Arcadia location. The general manager and front desk people were pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. I felt like a welcomed guest. With all the duties to attend to, people were ready to assist. The place is clean and the breakfast in the morning is a plus. A good experience all the way around.

    The check-in process was pretty smooth, but the only thing that was a bit of a hassle was having to check in again on my last day all because I extended my stay and had to book on another third party app. I was hoping I could have just extended my stay on the same hotels app, but I wasn’t able too. That was a bit of a deterrent. Other than that the stay was very good.

    My family and I checked in Sunday evening the outside of the hotel looked okay the inside was dirty not up to date. The pictures posted on line were not accurate. The room it’s self… refrigerator was spotless clean even the microwave. The bathroom was a different story, walls were dirty almost looked yellowish a lot of paint chipping everywhere the bathroom was gross someone’s hair was in it. I didn’t feel safe putting my one year old in it. I tried to make the best of the days to come but come the next morning I seen a big bed bug. Right on the pillow my one year old was using I woke up everyone had then change clothes and went down stairs for a refund. I was granted my whole 4 day stay back to me. We packed up our whole room and left and 6 in morning. It was terrible experience we had to look for another hotel

    The people at corporate for Extended Stay in Monrovia/Arcadia need to tend to their locations. I came here with my husband and dog to relax, little rest was found due to the roaches crawling out of the light socket. The woman at the front was very sweet and helped us move rooms and make things right the best she could. We could tell she was overwhelmed and short staffed. It was further disturbing to find out that people are living in those conditions.

    To be honest I was not going to leave a negative review only because the staff and the customer service was actually pretty good. They stay, however, or lack thereof was not. Ok so for starters, you can definitely tell that this is an older property, so it does in fact look a little run down on the outside. but whatever no big deal. Some of the other guest that were hanging around out front also looked a little sketchy, but again whatever. So finally, when we get into our room there is an unpleasant odor, and everything looks sort of dingy (if I had to think of one word to describe the room) or uncleaned. Again, I just told myself whatever because I was still riding on how nice the front desk clerks were. My gf and I decided to go to the local dollar tree right down the street and decided to give the room a good cleaning ourselves. We bought some cleaning supplies, sprays and candles to fix the situation. After cleaning we felt a little better but still a little uneasy. About two hours into our stay, while eating lunch, my son noticed there was a roach crawling from underneath the table. That was the last straw. we immediately packed up and checked out. That was Friday. It Is now Monday, and I have still not received my refund do to the fact that No one is answering the phones at the property. I am extremely disappointed. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, but this was too much. Not to mention this was my first time ever booking at Extended Stay. Total let down.

    The place is incredibly noisy, is like sleeping on a mattress on the side of the freeway, I asked to be moved to another room and offer to pay a second time but my request was denied, there was also a hole on the wall between the toilet and the shower, very suspicious area to have an exposed hole.

    It was very comfortable and I had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and I slept quite well. The washer and dryers were readily available and the location was convenient to shopping and groceries. Property needs some updating -my first room was not so great but they changed me to a different room which was satisfactory. The kitchenette was wonderful with full refrigerator and two stove burners that heated quite well.
