    It was the room itself that was the issue for me. It was apparent that the cleaning staff decided that only partial services were warranted for my stay. 1. The hardwood laminate was nasty. It felt slick and appeared to not have been swept before my arrival. 2. The walls had 'stuff' stuck to them. It was like food stuffs were splattered on the wall and no one did a complete clean up of whatever it was that spilt or was slung on the walls. 3. The floor of the tub had not been cleaned at all! Fortunately, I keep cleaning products, including a scrub brush, with me when I travel to deal with this type of deplorable conditions. 4. And from the sounds of things, there were either dog and/or child foot races happening in the hallways on and above my floor.

    The kitchenette was way above average, very nice bathroom. Wifi was marginal. It was obvious they have a problem with tiny roaches. I saw dead ones and on my last day a live one. Also, no window shade--way too much light with the street lights outside.

    They were replacing countertops, very disruptive till 8pm everyday. Trash is left by tenants in the hallways and elevators. Exterior door frame was about to come out of the opening. Found dead bugs in the bathroom. Floor was filthy. Cleaned it with a washcloth on day 1.

    The hotel is close to downtown Apex and the Apex business park. All rooms are efficiency studio suites with a kitchen and full-size refrigerator. The only downside is that you have to pay extra for the coffee pot/cookware/dinnerware to use in the room. There are laundry facilities onsite and parking is free.

    My day was absolutely horrible. I checked in the room and they checked me into a room that wasn’t even clean. Garbage was everywhere. I booked a non-smoking room the whole entire hotel smells like smoke. I went down to the front desk and got no assistance. They didn’t even try to accommodate their mistake and put me in a different room. Neither did they refund me my money. This hotel is a joke and I’m actually shocked that Apex is still allowing them to operate in the heart of their town

    Parking with easy and convenient. The room, kitchenette and bathroom were clean. The mattress was excellent for my bad back, nicely firm. When I first walked into the room, I thought it looked kind of cheap but I found that it was very comfortable. I was happy to take clean and comfortable at an affordable price over more expensive hotel rooms.

    But any event? The hotel was not clean on the inside of Room 113. I ended up having to book at another hotel because I was not willing to to my head with my son's head on those sheets ! While the staff was very helpful, it still does not take away from the fact that the hotel was not sanitary.I will post pictures of what the inside room 113! Also I noticed a sign on the check-in. Door that stated between the hours of 10 PM and 8 AM. There will be no staff so a phone number was left for you to call to check-in. I ended up using some of my rewards cash in my cash to pay for this room. And I was highly disappointed. I'm currently waiting on a reef. Find now it works quickly. It's kind of disheartening, because I feel as though. If you are a business, you should take pride in your business. And if there are things that need to be fixed or tweaked, in order for the business to run smooth, you should do that. I'm not understanding that lately whenever I've ran into an extended stay or A a woodsprings i have been highly disappointed. I took the time to read the. Reviews from other guests from that particular location. Because not all wood Springs are created. Equal. And majority, if not all of the guests who stayed at that particular location, have all complained about the same thing.     When I went to the front desk and said I want a refund The woman said she would text her boss. I wanted proof that she canceled my stay and she said she couldn't give me anything. I left . I will call my credit card company and dispute charges. Disgustingly dirty. Also there was a party in the parking lot. people drinking alcohol and smoking .Will never stay there!

    Place was filthy! Pulled back comforter to find rumpled slept in sheets, dirt, hair, and stains. Smelled like smoke. Transferred to another room. Smoke smell was even more pronounced to the point of making my eyes water. Several people were transferring rooms to see if there was anything clean. It was like this place was a drug and sex hotel. So gross. Asked at desk if any room in the place didn’t smell like smoke(especially since you have to sign a waiver about being charged $250 if you smoke in room!) and she said “no they all do. I can just have my manager refund you if you want to leave”. I took her up on that option and found another local hotel which was so much better!

    I have never been so blindsided by a hotel reservation before than this place. The hallways were smelly. My room barely looked like it was cleaned. When I checked in, the staff member was too busy talking to another man behind the counter. I felt like I was bothering her. I was also surprised I didn’t wake up with bed bug bites. I stayed here only 1 night out of my 3 night reservation. The pictures provided online are not a current reflection of how the place really is. The place didn’t refund me, but I didn’t care . I wanted out! Please please stay away, this place is trash!

    Check in was awful. I waited at the desk for at least 15 mins for someone to show up. I was given a room key, went to the room and the bed was unmade. I went back to the front desk and she was very rude and told me to wait 30 mins while someone cleaned that room. There was roaches, the bathroom smelled like urine. Lots of sketchy people. It was my worst experience at a hotel, ever!!!

    The room was really gross and smelled bad. I didn’t want to touch anything that I didn’t have to. The tub had dark stains and some that looked like pee, along with hair when I had gotten there. The toilet had pee on it. The floor has spots and degree all over. I would’ve left if I didn’t have last minute plans.

    this was just an overnighter. However, upon entering the room, there was a dead roach on the floor to greet me. The bathroom looked clean, but when I raised the toilet seat lid up, there was tissue in there, and I wasn’t sure if it had been cleaned at all around the toilet that is. The walls as well as in the shower had like a black substance on it. Not sure if that was mold. They need to use curtains instead of the blinds because even with all the lights out, it’s hard to sleep because the outside lights basically light up the entire room you could read by it very easily however, the receptionist who took us in was very professional and friendly.

    This place was horrible as soon as we walked in! Everything looked dirty and outdated. We immediately went back to the front to cancel the stay and the receptionist told me that they “don’t do refunds” and that “no further action is required on my end and I should receive my money back in a couple of days”. That never happened so I disputed the charge. Two months later, they reversed my dispute a day before my college graduation! I tried calling several times and no one is picking up! They WILL be dealt with!

    I had a terrible experience at WoodSpring Suites Raleigh Apex. The room was dirty — there was hair on the sheets, a broken chair, a moldy shower head, and both the shower and towels were filthy. The entire room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, so much so that I couldn’t sleep all night. I tried calling the front desk multiple times, but no one answered. This place is a complete disaster. I would not recommend it to anyone.

    This is the dirtiest, nastiest, and smelliest hotel I've ever stayed in. This pet-friendly hotel smelled like a dog kennel, the blinds over the window were so greasy and dirty, and the dried feces on the chair (animal or human don't know) in the room made me puke. I arrived late to the hotel so changing hotels wasn't an option that night but checked out the next morning and got a room across the street and it was great.

    Additionally, upon leaving the building, I encountered several roaches in the elevator, one of which I nearly stepped on. This was both disgusting and alarming. I immediately became concerned about the possibility of transferring pests to my belongings. I attempted to inform the front desk, but the area was closed at 8:30 AM. I was left with no choice but to leave my luggage outside to prevent contamination. When I arrived home and unpacked on April 9th, I discovered a roach had emerged from my luggage. This experience has left me deeply disturbed.

    Clean rooms and we have high standards mostly time and place and all excluded of course, we all settle, but over all id say sleeping under their covers says a lot and walking bare foot from the shower to bed area to dress finishes off my point on cleaning crew employees.. staff was friendly enough, but availability was somewhat lacking only in that it's long term stays here and less of a twenty four hours hotel where night clerk mans their station all night and day. Couldn't eat breakfast but was afforded many places of all price ranges close by even some for not so long walks if your up for it. Plenty of shopping opportunities in the vicinity and the parking isn't impossible and almost always at your convenience of luggage carrying by hand distances and elevator tho only one on site did the job fair enough for the three nights spent here. Can't complain none for price and stay . Would stay again and again

    Checkin desk was closed when I arrived, the front desk person barely spoke to me while carrying on a phone call and there was no staff overnight to help when I realized that I did not get my ID back during checkin. Many other people tried to checkin after 10pm and there was no staff available to help, many people were frustrated and the police were called to assist numerous stranded guests.

    As soon as you walk in there was a strong smell of weed. I ignored that since I planned to stay only for 1 night. Once I got to my room and turned on the light I saw little roches all over. They were in the bathroom, in the toilet, on the walls, around the bed, all over. I picked my bags up and left the room. Went to the front desk and the night clerk said he was sorry and would refund me. I'll wait to see if it shows up in the 7-10 days.

    The front desk was unmanned after 10 but when I used the lobby phone I was able to reach someone on the lobby phone and my toilet was cleared. Also who still has a 32” TV? I could hardly see it from the bed. The heater and the bathroom fan was very loud. I travel extensively and this hands down was my worst hotel experience!!!! There were a couple of other issues with the room but I just listed the major issues. I would like a full refund for the horrible experience!!!!!

    Manager is awful. Never again will I stay there and I have told everyone and even contacted corporate about the absolute jerk that is the gm at this hotel. Maintenance banging on my door at 3 am about random things that could wait until the morning. Waking my children up. Front desk staff walking into my room with my children in there before check out to have my child call me (never mind she could have called me) I was on my way to extend the room like I did every week and she knew this. Check out was not for another 40 minutes. She had my son FaceTime me and sat on his bed after unlocking the door and coming in without me there. That’s an absolute no no. She could have called me having 40 minutes and me being 15 minutes away. Do not enter my room with my children. (Yes they are old enough to be home) still not ok. Manager does not accept any sort of discount, will not take the online reservation of the longer stay discount even after corporate called them. They said they would give the discount and never did. Then they raised the rate and told me the night before check out. So I had to pack a room that I’ve been in for almost 3 months along with 2 kids last minute and having to work at 6 the next morning. A little more of a heads up would have been appreciated. Especially after being there for just under 3 months. I’m assuming these hotels don’t want people there over 3 months because then they are exempt from taxes? I’m not sure but they are rude. Just rude

    People were nice, except for the maintenance man who decided to take it upon himself to try and get my son to come out of the room when I wasn’t there (don’t do that). Front desk was nice. Hotel itself was dirty. Trash everywhere, overflowing outside, dog tore up someone’s trash in the hallway inside. There always seems to be a fire alarm going off. Literally everyday so be prepared to get woken up to that at 4am. Or 8.. whatever time someone feels like pulling it that day. I ended up having to leave because between the fire alarms and the loud neighbors which I complained about twice, I couldn’t sleep for anything. And to be fair, I do not complain about a whole lot. I understand hotels can be loud. But the level of loud was insane. Front desk was knocking and calling and they couldn’t hear them over the music. So it wasn’t too much the hotel itself, more the people and maintenance that made the stay unbearable.

    Good afternoon; thanks for your interest in our experience. First, check in was ok, what happened from that point is the worst. There started our nightmare. The room we were given was awful, starting with the horrible smell all over the place. The “so called” kitchen is a disaster. Towel’s seemed that were never been washed, cockroaches everywhere, bathtub dirty and stained. Didn’t even take a bath. Long story short, decided to stay that night because it was really late. First thing in the morning, gathered our stuff and went to the “so called” front desk, where this unpleasant and unprofessional lady treated us like “garbage” to checkout. Said that we were going to be charged only for that night and it came out that we were charged for the whole stay. She said that in case of a claim, we should address you and not them. We’ll appreciate your help regarding this matter. Thank you so much.

    Our room had feces stains on the walls, along with crayon, burn marks and other various stains. Even our linen was stained and there were no replacements available. The entire property smells like people are actively smoking marijuana at all hours of the day and night. The dresser handles were broken. The sink counter was broken. It was an absolutely terrible experience.

We had a fire alarm go off at 11 p.m. and had to walk down 4 flights of steps to get out of the building. It was over in an hour but that disturbed our sleep (and most guests just stayed in their rooms). Plus there were no grab bars in the shower and the tub was too high for me to enter (I'm very short and disabled). IF they had a grab bar I could have gotten in to the shower. Instead I had to take a sponge bath (after traveling all day). And the room was DIRTY. Blood stains on the carpet. Paint all over everything. My feet were filthy just walking to the bed. Sorry, but it wasn't a good experience at all. Did I mention that the first room they gave us was occupied and we walked in on someone in that room? The desk clerk was clueless.

    Disgusting, dirty, smelled horrid, no staff at night. We arrived after midnight and no one was there. It took us 45 minutes to get in touch with someone to let us in. The room we were given was filled with dog urine and feces. It smelled so bad and there were puddles of pee under the bed. When we tried to get a different room we waited an hour for an employee and no one came. We slept in the car. I had to buy cleaning supplies in the morning to go into the room, clean it and then shower. The front desk staff said no refunds and they can’t do anything. I will be reporting this to the health department. It is worse than a motel 6 or truck stop motel. Unsanitary, unsafe conditions that no human being should have to stay in.

    We arrived and were placed on a lower floor due to elevators being out of service. Once we checked into the room, my 2 year old saw baby cockroaches crawling all over the pillows and was screaming in terror. I pulled the side table out and found the rest of the roach family eating someone's leftovers. We went to the front desk for assistance but no one was there. I tried calling, but no answer. The next day I called and requested refund, which was approved. They apologized and let us know they knew about the roach issue in advance and had pest control service scheduled. They confirmed they would provide a refund. The refund never came and Expedia also declined to provide a refund. I still try to call the hotel to find out why they declined the refund when Expedia called to inquire about it, but they never answer their phone.

    Had some weird smells, staff were really nkce but were initially unorganised when i was checking in. Room had Roaches and the bathtub was not cleaned while a peice of woord was knocked off and sitting beside where it fell off

    The floor in our room were dirty. There was no shower curtain, no soap, no towels. The No coffee in the room and no breakfast. The front desk was not always manned. The elevator was out of order. The floors in the halls were dirty and probably not washed in a long time. The would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    Waited 15 minutes for someone to open up the front desk for a 1am check in arrival. Then was informed that they had no reservation for the night in my name. Then was also informed they had no available rooms for the night. Very very disappointing after driving two hours from Charlotte. Very very inconvenient for much needed rest for the next days travels. Very very unprofessional and unexpected for a guaranteed online booking from such a national online booking chain. I expect a full, unquestioned refund for such a sad and poor experience encountered as a first for this very experienced traveler. Very disappointing!!!

    I did not like anything about my stay. The place was infested with roch nothing work. I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. I booked 3 nights but only stay for one because it was too scary and dark outside to go look for somewhere else for I arrived a little late. Worst experience ever. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I did not get any sleep. I was promised a refund for the other 2 nights but since I booked through Expedia they told me i was not going to get one. Expedia is horrible as well, I feel they get people the worst deals and when things fall apart they do not refund. I will not book anything though then anymore and will make sure I tell my friends not too either

    There’s no cleaning of your rooms, only upon checkout. There are people smoking weed in front of the entrance. The halls and into the room smells like cigarettes and animal urine. It’s in a great location but needs better control of what goes on throughout the property and a better cleaning program.

    I do not consider this a hotel as people actually live there. Section 8 homes. The place and the room didn’t look anything like the advertisement. People were walking up and down hallways until almost 2:00 am if not later. We wouldn’t have stayed, but I would have lost my $$ for the room. Never again, at any one of their hotels.

    This hotel was awful. There was trash around the front and back entrance. Both trash cans were overflowed. When you enter the front foyer, it had an awful smell. The front desk attendant was not customer service friendly at all. Because of the lack of cleanness, poor customer service. I did not stay at this hotel and lost my entire money because of it. I am completely speechless. If you are looking for a clean, decent hotel, RUN.. this one is NOT it.
