Great location for TST - Quite, Affordable, Clean, and Staff was friendly and helpful. Walmart is around corner. Plenty of food options near by.

I honestly panicked and start walking away from the door. A gentleman came half asleep and startled. I apologized and showed him my room key. Fortunately he understood and went back to sleep. That could’ve ended VERY bad for me. Imagine someone trying to open your room door at 2:30 in the morning!! I understand it was a mistake from the front desk personnel. But, I travel a lot for work and in over 15 years of staying out of town in hotels, this is the very first time this happens to me.

The room was nice and clean. The air conditioning kept the room nice and chilly. The front desk staff were amazing.

Too noisy. I could hear everything happening at the hall. Someone knocked next room and woke me up before 7am on a Sunday. Could hear people talking next door. The bed was too soft.

This hotel is consistently clean, in great repair, and has friendliest, most professional staff I have experienced. I base this review on several stays at the Holiday Inn Express Apex, not just this last stay. Will always stay here when in the Raleigh area!

Ben at the check-in desk was a very nice person with a very pleasant welcoming personality.

An exceptionally pleasant stay all around at a very affordable price. I was especially pleased with the woods and creek view from our room and how quiet it was. Great breakfast! Super comfortable bed with a variety of pillows. I was tempted to snitch the soft pillow. I wish I could buy one just like it. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit family!

Always a wonderful stay. Other than this time being told at the front desk that breakfast lasts until 10. Showing up at 9:20 to get breakfast and rudely being told it’s closed. I was not the only one there were a handful of people who had been told the same thing. Even if it were closing at 9:30 it was still only 9:20, but we were told 10 am at the front desk. The person in chat of breakfast shut off the Orange juice machine e as my 11 year old son was goi g to get some. This was 9:25. We were told rudely once again that breakfast was closed. This was all the day after Christmas by the way. Definitely the worst I have ever been treated by any of your hotels.

Check in lady had as much personality as a roof shingle. No hello. No smile. Just give me your ID. We always stay here when visiting relatives in Apex but this will be our last stay here. No ADA rooms.

It started with the check in. Cherry upgraded us "just because she could", and I felt like a family member. We weren't actually there very long, but every person we encountered had that southern hospitality. We were also very impressed with the breakfast - a step up from most other places. We definitely will return.

The signage directing traffic toward the entrance was lacking.

I made the reservations in my name, but my husband was able to check in. I thought this was a little odd since the reservations were in my name. Could have been a disaster if there were any problems within the family.

The room was excellent. We had the Roll in shower and it was large and well done. Dane, took the time to call us to confirm the room with the roll in and was wonderful when we got there. He enrolled us in IHG. Great visit.

The only thing I could say I didn't like was that there was a Muslim family there and they wanted to eat the sausages but it was pork sausages and pork bacon so of course her and her kids couldn't eat any of those things and that would be a nice suggestion to implement like beef sausage or beef bacon not only that so utensils that's being used for the pork bacon and the pork sausage sometimes people switch them around and then they turn around to be used to pick up the eggs also and that's not good especially if someone is not eating pork.

This was a little outside of central Apex but convenient to highways for us, which was more important.

Breakfast was alright, rooms were clean and tidied regularly, bed was comfy!

Overall experience for this location from check in to check out, they made sure I was taken care of for sure! Very friendly and helpful. Greeted me and just very polite and respectful.

Great choice for the price. The complimentary breakfast was great with several options that were healthy and protein.

The staff was wonderful, friendly, and very efficient. Beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. However, the room smelled musty and there was visible mold on the wall by the light switch plate in the bathroom, water dripping from the light switch plate on the other side of that wall, and moisture in the air. Overall, I would not stay here again.

My children and I stayed for one night. The room was clean. Had breakfast the next morning that was good and hot. Based on a one night stay, it was a pleasant experience.

Mattress needs to be replaced

The cooling system did not seem efficient on auto& it was loud enough I had to to turn in tv volume to hear over it. Breakfast was excellent, service at front desk was excellent.

Needed a place to stay that was close to where some relatives lived. Chose this property because I believed I was a member of the hotel group.

Room was super clean and comfortable. It was quiet. The hotel served breakfast but I didn’t partake because of previous plans, but it was available. Small items available for sale such as snacks and beverages.

Room was a good size and clean. Assume the floors were heated as they were warm to bare feet. Nice comfy bed and pillows. Instructions on coffee maker inadequate. Note clear on when pwr button is pushed and or brew. Liked the easy ability to change the temp in the room. The grab bar at the shower was not positioned so it was handy while the shower curtain is closed. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

The heating system was horrible. The first night we tried to adjust the heat to no avail. Very loud unit with inconsistent heat. The second night, we turned off the unit even though it was very cold. Also people across the hallway were very loud throughout the night.

Front desk staff was amazing. There was a good Mexican restaurant that could be walked to from the hotel. Only downside was the breakfast could have been better. Other than that, a great stay!

Our stay was wonderful. We had the room with a king sized bed and accessible with a roll in shower that also had a pull down seat with a shower head that is easily reached from the seat. The internet worked well and we had a nice big flat screen TV on the wall opposite the bed. The AC was good and cold. The hot breakfast was really good. When we're in Apex again, this is where we will want to stay!

Close to the main routes but tucked away off of the Main Street. Continental breakfast daily was good. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would stay here again.

What was advertised on Expedia what not at all what we received. The stay was nice, and clean. But not what we paid for.

Stayed for 2 nights while visiting my best friend. Room was very clean and maintained. I am very picky about the cleanliness of hotel bathrooms and the bathroom surpassed my expectations. My only complaint was that the mini fridge was not cold at all and smelled a little fishy so i didnt use it. Will definitely be staying here again next visit.

Our room was clean and nice except that it was a handicapped accessible room but didn't have a comfortable chair to sit in. The only chair besides the office chair was an apholstered chair with no arms or footstool and most mobility challenged people need both to make a chair workable. So i had to dit in my wheelchaur at all times l. Recliners work well for handicapped people.
