This hotel was nasty. Killed 2 bugs as soon as we arrived. The furniture was broken and written on/vandalized. The tub had cigarette burns and was nasty yellow. It was 2am so we did stay. Sprayed the bed down with Lysol. It was comfortable. Charged $209 for the night and couldn’t even shower it was so nasty.

I completely enjoyed my stay

Siempre me hospedó en este hotel por una o dos noches. Es económico y tranquilo
- 5/5
Staff was on top of making sure I had fresh towels and taking my trash out. I was there 6 days. It was quiet and I felt safe. I traveled solo

Room was very clean. Everything was awesome, nice staff as well!
- 3/5
The price was good for the night, complaining wise well had a little girl getting yelled n smacked around cause she was crying and I mean from time I got there to next morning. No lie FRFR. Plus same lady in and out so the door and people knocking on her door. I'm not trying to say anything mean. Not very clean. Roaches and there poop and sheets with privates hair from prior. Workers were splendid and awesome especially the morning guy from Saturday 22. He was on point with customer service and friendly. Kudos. Hotel was ok but needs to up on the clean rooms. Bugs that's normal just clean the mess so we won't know. Lol. So I give fair on hotel and top rate on the front desk worker.
- 3/5
Room smelt like weed
- 2/5
Room smelled like cigarette smoke, very outdated, no elevators, and
- 5/5
Service was great and our rooms were clean
- 5/5
Very clean! Friendly atmosphere and GREAT customer service!!!
- 3/5
Room wasn't clean, the only plus to this hotel is the staff.
- 4/5
No elevator for higher floors. Smoking hotel so they smell of cigarettes was very noticeable in the halls and the lobby.
- 3/5
Limited I only seen cereal available
- 3/5
The hallway smelted like smoke
- 2/5
Had roaches in the room and other bugs. Staff were barely friendly and the price was way to high for what was offered. My stent there was the last. Wouldn't recommend it at all
- 4/5
The bedding was clean and cozy. I enjoyed the bathroom mirror and countertop for getting ready. The towels looked and felt clean but smelled a little musty. The hotel had older carpet throughout so I left my shoes on in the room. The area felt safe. Small breakfast area of only two tables and limited choices but it worked.
- 2/5
Seen no waterfall
- 4/5
I was nervous after reading recent reviews about cleanliness but our room was clean and well kept. The bed was comfortable and the whole stay was adequate for two days. The continental breakfast area was well stocked with continental breakfast items and very neat and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint that we had was the AC in our room was very loud. It definitely cooled the room well but it was just noisy…..much louder than what it should be. Overall, I would recommend staying here if you need something convenient to the Clemson area.
- 1/5
Breakfast a joke location terrible homeless sleeping in the woods behind hotel
- 5/5
Could do better on the breakfast options. Pre packaged muffins and juice aren’t worth the price
- 1/5
“Dirty” Everything had a stain on it towels, bed, pillowcase you name it! Now for the price okay but cleanness should never be sacrificed
- 1/5
I requested a non smoking room. The entire hotel, except the front desk area smelled like cigarette smoke. It was hard to breathe in The "non smoking room" we was given. We were on a budget and I wasn't able change to a different hotel at the last minute. We only saw one roach when we first opened the room door. We didn't see any more during the stay. We had to ask the front desk for a iron and ironing board because there wasn't one in the room. Going forward I need to budget for a better hotel, and one that is 100 % smoke free.
- 4/5
Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Close to everything.
- 1/5
I had reserved two rooms so one for myself and one for my brother-in-law and nephew, and when we got to the rooms, my brother-in-law‘s room the sheets were dirty. The pillows were dirty, and the refrigerator was rusted inside. My room, the air conditioner was not really controllable and was continually on cold, my refrigerator is also rusty. The whole entire property needs a complete renovation as it looks like it hasn’t been renovated or the sheets and bed covers. Haven’t been changed in 20 to 30 years. Management was generous enough to give us half a refund on one of the rooms, but we just ate the cost on the other room because we did not wanna stay in there during that night.
- 4/5
Easy, Cheap nice place to stay
- 2/5
We needed a cheap place to stay and lay our heads for 2 nights, for that it worked. I’ve stayed in some dingy spots before but this is down near the lowest. Despite being a non-smoking room, the entire place smelled of old cigarettes and poor choice of air freshener. The top sheets had stains, the tub had stains, the towels had stains and one of the refresh towels came with bonus pubic hair. The water pressure was non-existent. The hotel was convenient to a lot of food, entertainment, and the college. I do not recommend unless you’re used to being on the road and staying at clearly cheap motels just for a night.
- 1/5
The time we started there are room was not clear and all they had for breakfast was cereal. I would not stay there again
- 2/5
There wasn’t much available when we booked our stay and was looking for something affordable. Hotel and room smell like smoke, killed a couple roaches, and bathtub was dirty. Two TVs were in our room but neither worked. Don’t think the mini fridge worked either. Worked in a pinch and beds were surprisingly comfortable.
- 2/5
Room was musty and moist. Like it had been shut up with no AC for a couple years. AC fan didn't work, only blew full blast, but at least it was cold. Hallway was humid and fans going. Some parts seemed very old, dingy, and unkempt. Definitely price gouging for the room during the big concert. On a positive note, the all the light fixtures were updated and had usb plugs.
- 1/5
Checked in and given room key but when I opened door, woman was in room eating! Plus, it was a smoking room and stunk!! Went back to front desk and asked what was going on. That was the cleaning lady. Ridiculous!!! Given a non-smoking room but room was dark and dirty. Should have NO STARS!!!
- 4/5
Good place to stay. Convenient
- 5/5
.
- 3/5
Refrigerator was not working and exterminator services were needed
- 5/5
I'm giving a 5 ⭐ because these people went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We got put on the third floor which I believe the AC unit in the hallways are down and said therefore the hallways were very hot making the rooms harder to cool but the hotel staff literally done everything they could to make us comfortable They came and reset the AC unit which fixed the problem and they even brought us a little mini extra air conditioner So we finally got to have a good night's rest
- 5/5
It was good enough for me to lay my head for the night. Nothing special. Could be cleaner but Ive seen much worse
- 3/5
They didn’t have the room I reserved
- 1/5
Not good
- 3/5
Nice facility except it smelled like smoke.
- 2/5
The desk staff was very friendly. There was a mix up and he thought they gave my room away. They did not and he was very apologetic for the delay. The hotel smelled like smoke. The room left a lot to be desired. Nearly impossible to get the temp to be desirable, you were either sweating or freezing. They had issues w/their water temp so it took about 10 minutes to get the shower to heat up. While the shower looked newer the sprayer was leaking which caused mold at the top. Toilet was split and glued together.
- 2/5
Hot water circulator not working - enough hot water for 1 person, no more. Room would not cool, didn’t get lower than 74. Public areas of hotel smelled of cigarette smoke.
- 2/5
My experience was not good. The Elevator was broken so my family and I had to walk to the third floor. There was no lighting in the hallway so lamps were placed in the hallway were you could barely see. No breakfast was provided and the night attendant had no extra linens or towels.
- 5/5
Very friendly and clean
- 1/5
They charged me an extra $45 dollar fee for paying for my hotel online
- 4/5
Did not make our bed or empty trash
- 1/5
This place was disgusting. Smelled like smoke and pot inside. Dirty room. Sheets had spots on them. Homeless living in cars in parking lot. Just a gross place.
- 5/5
Just like everyone else in Anderson we lost power, to be expected all hotels were booked and we were lucky enough to get the last available room they had. And it had a king size bed. Yes we had to walk to the 3rd floor, but it was really no inconvenience. The staff worked with us when we first got there, the room was ready upon arrival, the room was very clean and did not smell at all. The shower was perfect, the air conditioner was very cold(that’s a good thing). And although we were on Clemson blvd, it was very quiet there. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. Only small issue but not really one because it was understandable, there was no internet or tv. But hey we just had a major storm. At least we had a comfortable bed, air and a hot shower. So thank you to the staff at Super 8 for giving us a place to stay for a few days.
- 1/5
Smoking both not legal and legal not enough towels and sanitary supplies
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable room. The hallway needs new flooring.
- 5/5
We stayed here for a weekend parent trip to see our daughter at Clemson University. It was about 30 minutes from campus, however, it was most reasonably priced hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We did request a quiet room on top floor fuurthest away from the road and they accommodated us for that. It was close to breakfast places and restaurants- and close to Walmart where we could get groceries to stock our students pantry. Thank you
- 2/5
I was very disappointed in the quality of this hotel for the price paid. First of all, the rates doubled from its regular rates simply because there was a college football game nearby. Secondly, there was no elevator and we were put on the highest floor. There were fans in the hallways because the air conditioning didn't work. The only ice maker was on the bottom floor and the bathroom toilet was loose and "clunked" every time you used it. The hotel staff was nice and helpful, but the property itself was definitely not worth the price paid.
- 3/5
The building was hot and the staff seemed more concerned with saving money than making the guests comfortable. When I arrived on my floor they didn’t even have any lights on in the hallway it was pitch black.
- 4/5
We were told they were not going to make any more coffee at 8:45 in the morning because they made three pots already. That seems a little on professional.
- 3/5
Asked for non-smoking room. Could smell smoke as soon as got in room. No elevator. Staff at check-in was nice.
- 4.5/5
I think because I bought through an agency I got a room that was across from the icemaker, which disturbed me all the time. Also, I couldn?t get a receipt for my payment because the hotel said I wasn?t the one that actually booked it.
- 4/5
Check in was nice the desk men were so nice. The room looked great. The stairwell was too dark and dangerous for the vision impaired. The hallways were super hot. There were some shady characters hanging around the hallways and outside. The fridge in our room didn’t work and the temperature knob was broken off. The morning we went to check out no one was available and the continental breakfast wasn’t really available and it was supposed to be ready at 6 am.
- 3.5/5
It was convenient and quick. They let us in early.
- 2/5
Towels were clean! While my room smelled of smoke, and I couldn’t sleep between those sheets….the overwhelming smell of pot kept waking me up from whatever sleep I was trying to get. Hallway carpets are very old.
- 3/5
okay
- 5/5
This place was very clean
- 2/5
Not handicap accessible, no elevator, just stairs.
- 0.5/5
This hotel room lacked cleanliness, seemed to have dirty sheets on one bed. Seen a dead fly on the other comforter. Some sort of black soot on the other bed. There were shady young people hanging out by the back entrances late at night.
- 2.5/5
noise level during night very high. breakfast area very small almost impossible to access to tables position. remote control did not work.
- 1/5
Nothing was liked they are rude cheating people that stole frome and my family. Snakes in the grass

- 5/5
Everything was good
- 0.5/5
The staff entered my room and stole 2 $200.00 visa gift cards.
- 3/5
the staff was nice and the room was ok. The hotel reeked of smoke, no elevator and our bathroom smelled like pee.
- 3/5
Staff were really nice and friendly.
- 3/5
Heavy smoke smell throughout hotel
- 1/5
When we arrived at our room, the door was ajar - and the room was not fully ready. Had to return to the front desk to request a different room…
- 1/5
Many other guests checked out early because of drugs at the property. Rooms sold by the hour. Roaches in bathroom. Never again.
- 2/5
You can see the owner has tried to dress up an old Motel but unfortunately they have no security controlling the individuals camping out on their doorsteps at all hours.
- 1/5
Got to the room and found it to be in terrible condition. The sheets and blankets were dirty and had burn holes in them, the bathroom was not clean and there was a hole in the bathroom door. I will not be staying here again!!
- 5/5
Found dirty wash cloth hanging on shower
- 2/5
Hotel was nasty, paid for a king bed but got a queen, they did not clean the room daily nor did they change your towels and wash cloths. I had to ask for bathroom tissue, the bedding was full of cigarette burns. Just a terrible Hotel.
- 0.5/5
People smoking drugs in the smell going in my room
- 5/5
Smells of smoking on the corridor not in my room
- 2.5/5
cheap hotel for 2.5 stars, very disappointed.
- 4/5
Refrigerator was broken so I didn’t have anything cold to drink 😩 they came and tried to fix it but it never worked. I can’t drink water warm.
- 1/5
Charged me for a deposit for cleanliness deposit. After a walk-through on the day of checkout, refunded $3.00 less than what I out as deposit. The room was immaculate but they called it a service charge.
- 2/5
This Super 8 would not allow you to extend your stay. Even if you extended your stay online, they make you check out at 11 and back in at 3:00 PM. For this reason, would not book with them again.

- 2.5/5
There was no breakfast we didn’t get anything The price not going up just because there is a football game in next town not every one likes football why should we pay more
- 2/5
I was traveling with a small dog and will never stay at this location again. The room smelled bad every time I walked in it. There was hair found all over, not sure the bed sheets were even changed. The bedspread was disgustingly dirty and it looked like blood on the curtains where you close them. They charged me an extra "cleaning fee" because I have a small dog - if you are going to charge me, clean the room you put me in. The price of the room was inflated because there was a home football game, not worth half of what I paid.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 5/5
Thank you for allowing me to pay from another state for my daughter to have a place to stay until she got keys for her place. Excellent customer service and I felt she was safe.
- 4/5
Very good
- 2/5
Our room was supposed to be non smoking. It had the smell of smoke and the sickening sweet deodorant used to cover up the smoke. Throughout the night we could smell smoke coming from other rooms.
- 4/5
Convenient to everything
- 4/5
AC did not get cool enough. Other than that, everything was above expectations.
- 1/5
To receive my deposit back I had to fill out a card and put credit card info, expiration date, cvc code. I did not like having that info written down for anyone to see.
- 3/5
Not an overly nice place to stay, staff was nice, but the facility could use some renovation...very limited on programming access (TV)
- 2/5
No elevators, each floor was very hot!! The entire building smelled like a grow. Definitely not a place for children. It was very quiet and walking distance to Cookout.
- 4/5
Really, really need a pool
- 3/5
The whole hotel smells smokey. Did not include breakfast as advertised. Blamed it on COVID but similar hotels in the state are allowing breakfasts
- 4/5
Nice hotel, clean, friendly good location. Would stay again
- 1/5
Clean Outside The Property And Clean Hallways
- 1/5
NO BREAKFAST. NOT EVEN A CUP OF COFFEE. Don't Stay At This Motel.
- 2/5
Could not sleep all night long the air conditioning unit was louder that a 747 flying low over my head. Could hardly sleep all night
- 2/5
No breakfast even though it was advertised
- 2/5
Sheets not clean and required housekeeping to change the sheets. Their advert about services mentions morning breakfast bar. Not true... no coffee and only the first night was there coffee in the room. Will never stay there again!
- 2/5
The whole property smells like smoke.
- 3/5
There was no elevator and we were on third floor. Said breakfast included but they did not even have coffee in lobby! Smell of smoke in hallway was very strong. Room was clean but will not stay there again. For the price it was below expectation. They did have a tiny coffee pot is room but would not use as not sure it was sanitary
- 5/5
.
- 4/5
Property was in good condition
- 1/5
Dangerous, unsafe, covid risk are high at this establishment. Avoid !
- 1/5
FILTHY. Absolutely DISGUSTING. The grossest, dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The air conditioner was coated in a THICK layer of dust/dirt. Also the lobby was hot. Way overpriced. Wouldn’t spend a cent to stay there again, definitely not $90. If this was the only hotel I could stay in, I’ll sleep in my truck.
- 3/5
Lobby is small and no breakfast not even grab and go… Dreary when leaving no one at desk sign said be back at 930… weird
- 1/5
Hard to cancel booking or reservation.
- 2/5
No one was at the front desk when I arrived. The room floor was still wet. Bathroom door was jimmied around locks. Worst room I have stayed in.
- 1/5
We got there to check in around 430 and had to wait on a room. The type room we booked was not available so we had to pay more for a double bed room on the 3rd floor of all places. So we had to climb 4 sets of stairs with heavy rolling luggage bags. The beds were extremely smaller than queen size and uncomfortable. My husband had to go down to the car around 11 pm , and he was stopped by some colored guys and they had been outside cussing and yelling for a good hour by this time but they were askiing for money wanting change to finish their laundry at the laundromat they claimed. needless to say we got no sleep because they were right down below our window and loud all night. The hotel doesnt serve breakfast right now cause of corona i assume which is stupid because you sharing a whole floor with others not wearing masks. The maintenance person was outside our room at midnight in a closet being loud. The people beside us were fighting all night and name calling each other. Doors were slamming non stop all night. So the next morning we booked the room for two nights and i called and called the front desk from my cell because there was no phone in the room. No one answered me for about an hour so i messaged hotels.com and chatted with an agent to let them know we wanted a refund for the sec night cause whn we left for breakfast there were used needles laying outside where those guys had been all night and we were not gonna stay there another night for sure. We got our money
- 3/5
The beds were really comfortable but there was no toilet paper in the room and when we walked in the door to go to our room it’s smelled like marijuana. We also had to pay $149 at check in and it wasn’t made clear as to why a late check out fee would cost that much. We won’t be returning to this hotel. It looks nothing like the pictures.
- 1/5
The tub was stopped up so we had to send in water to shower gross
- 1/5
No mask worn by the staff No room was ready even after 6:00 pm
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay
- 2/5
Was staying while having house repair done and the room was musky and dirty. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. I ended up leaving and getting another room after about an hour.
- 4/5
Finding the place was easy and simple located near slot of food. Checking in was a breeze after finding out I could have saved money just walking in. The only thing I did not agree with was the chain on my door was broken I like to have that extra sense of security. After requesting a late check out at noon. The housekeeper came to my door more than once around 11.30 basically rushing me out "claiming" my late check out hadn't been mentioned to her. (Which when I requested, I was told that my name couldn't be found and they were under the impression someone other than myself was in my room) I found that to be strange she asked for my first and last name. Very ODD. But the bed is comfortable & it's a good spot not far from the in lnterstate
- 4/5
Its one of the cheaper motels but it's a stay for any age
- 4/5
Room was clean. Desk cleek was friendly. No coffee in room. Coffee maker didn't work. Went to lobby and lady in office said the coffee she had was cold. So i went to QT.
- 2/5
2. There was no indication of a pet fee on yours or their website. $35.00 we weren't expecting 3. Noisy-heard our neighbors Heard music and loud talking outside our window, right outside our window at 1 AM 4. Hallway smelled like skunk This was a last minute trip so I didn't investigate like I normally do. I will not make that mistake again.
- 1/5
Employee reported that the hotel has no power and smells terribly like water damage and mold.
- 5/5
Would recommend
