    The breakfast was good. Our tv screen was messed up, told front desk, asked them to replace & they did not. Our room wasn’t cleaned on the first day of our visit. There was an odd, musty smell in the room.

    I stayed for 3 nights and house keeping never came. When I asked at the front desk the lady told me they only come every few days when you stay for an extended time. At the very least house keeping can come take out the trash and restock the in room coffee. The room trash cans are so small you put one leftover container in the trash and it’s full. Breakfast had such a small selection and it was the same items every time. The staff was friendly though.

    Check-in was great and very courteous. Room was meh. Sink and toilet were both cracked…? Wall thermostat did not work and air conditioning fan was loud enough to wake both of us up every time it turned on. It also never got cool enough in the room to sleep comfortably. This was an out-of-town trip for us to visit family and we won’t ever choose this hotel again.

    The carpet in our room had some stains on it that were really the only concern.... Our fridge didn't work...and they were right on it trying to fix it. I don't believe it ever came back on and began cooling but the young dude that attempted to fix it was nice and polite. This is still and has always been our first choice to stay in Anderson when we're in town for the Clemson Brick Forum.

    The area where rooms are was quiet. The breakfast items needed cut up fresh fruit or a variety of fruit. There were some people loitering in the parking lot one night when we came back to the hotel after being out for a few hours.

    Sink would not stop up, toilet ran all the time, beds were very uncomfortable. Many times you would have to stand at the sliding doors to exit or enter. Was told remodeling is happening soon so there was no need to fix anything now.

    We had gnats in the room pretty bad. We notified the desk and they said there was nothing they could do because they had no bug spray. We went out and purchased some spray. At check out, I showed the desk clerk a sample of the gnats and she was unimpressed. Not a good impression!

    The bed was comfortable, but the carpet had some large stains, the bathroom floor had a chip in it, and overall the room didn't look that great. It was probably clean enough. The breakfast was akin to Holiday Inn Express. Pretty warm and decent selection, but also somewhat stale. It was an okay stay for the money but definitely not the nicest in this category of hotel.

    What a terrible stay. When I arrived my room was disgusting. Sticky stuff on the floors. Microwave was gross and trashes were full. My room wasn’t cleaned at all during my 4 day stay. When I asked the staff they said rooms were only cleaned every other day. Mine was never cleaned. On my last day the power was out for hours. I definitely would not ever stay here again

    The hotel grounds were nice. We were in roim 309 which seemed a little dated. The toilet lid was cracked and glued and looked terrible. Thet carpet needs replaced and we didnt even want ti walk on it in our bare feet.

    Unfortunately, the elevator was out, and I had to carry a cooler multiple times to the third floor, but other than that the staff was fantastic and breakfast was one of the best that we’ve had in our six weeks since Helene displaced us. Surprisingly, even better than when we stayed at the Hilton downtown Anderson. Staff very helpful seeing if food was safe for the kids allergies.

    Service was way above excellence. Elle (your staff person at the front desk) made a room available for us even though we were a day late and missed our reservation. The only room available was a room that had leaked water from the window and the carpet was saturated. Though the room was very rank with the smell of dirty socks, we had no where else to go. Elle made it possible for us to have a room to stay in.

    It took one hour to check in the front desk manager was exceptional. When I walked into the lobby there were at least 40 people lined up waiting to be checked in. I waited in line standing with a cane about 45 minutes to get my room. I kept looking at the Hilton sign and thinking this could not be a Hilton Hotel. I selected this hotel because it was a Hilton Hotel and I have always had outstanding service. This employee should have had more help at the front desk. I believe my family and I should be compensated for this very uncomfortable situation.

    The elevator remained down for the two days that I was there—I think better communication was needed.it wasn’t u too day 3 that someone at the front desk actually informed guests and apologized to say the elevator was still down. Otherwise we just walked in and had to check for ourselves. One additional issue was a spotlight outside (perhaps solar driven?) was very bright but unsteady and kept flashing. I noticed that this would be seen at night in some of the residents rooms and was thankful it wasn’t mine! When I went to report to the front desk she seemed unperturbed (as if maybe she already knew?) and I encouraged her to come outside and look at the strobe effect, but she simply said “ok” and stayed at the desk.

    It was a nice place consistent with what we have come to expect from this chain. We were in town to tour Clemson University, and this hotel was just down the road from campus. Also, lots of restaurant within walking distance to this property.

    Before arriving they called me to let me know that their telephones, cable TV and internet had an outage and if I wanted to change to another hotel they would issue a refund. We chose to continue our travels. They were accomodating in very way including calling some local restaurants and bars to see who had working TVs for the Rose bowl game. The staff was friendly and the property was pristine.

    Room was disappointing. Neither of the wall thermostats in the two room suite worked. One thermostat on one of the units did function. Bed and shower were fine. Furniture was stained. Breakfast was mediocre. I have been in much nicer Hamptons. Even room layout was off with sofa it sitting room not facing tv. Hotels in college towns just seem to get abused a bit.

    Not a Hampton like I’ve ever stayed in before. I arrived before check in and it seemed dingy so I asked to see the rooms. Mgr showed me a room on 1st floor which later I learned is a diamond club room, I’m not in that club. I was going to use my protection insurance I purchased through Expedia, but the lady made me believe the rooms were great so once I checked in at 3pm my insurance was then void. I called Expedia, sent them images, they said I wouldn’t have to deal with that. They called Hampton, who then called my room. Kid you not, these were the evening shift mgrs exact words. “What seems to be the problem” I told her it was disgusting and stunk horrible in the room. “You are not getting your money back. This room was professionally cleaned in the last 2 months and if it is not up to your standard, then I can’t help that.” You can look at the pictures and gather your own conclusion on that. Expedia just said they were sorry, that they wouldn’t refund me. I became very sick while there, raw throat, trouble breathing I have severe allergies to indoor pollutants and they were aware of that but did not care. The town was fully booked due to a ball game and I had just traveled 6 hours with my grandchildren, after being refused to get my money back I didn’t know what else to do but stay. The 4 yr old grandchild couldn’t even be in the room due to the odor making him sick.

    There was a woman outside with 2 unleased dogs (they kept approaching my leashed dog and she was too high to control them) and all of her belongings. My daughter found a crack pipe laying in the parking lot. The room was over 80 degrees when we arrived and pillows smelled like cigarettes.

    We originally had reservations across the street at another hotel and when we drove in, it did not look as nice as it had online! Plus there were lots of big boxes and furniture in the exterior walkways, almost obscuring the entrance to the hotel. People were just hanging around the outside and on the walkways so we just drove right through and looked for another hotel nearby! We found the Hampton Inn and it was so much nicer. Breakfast was good but they were running low on fruit by 8:30 am and did not replenish while we were there on both days. The bed was comfortable but the room was so damp. It even smelled wet in the room. Staff was nice and they gave bottled water and cookies to the guests at the front desk on check in. Parking was easy. Lots of restaurants nearby.

    I am a native of the area - in fact that's why I stayed in Anderson with my youngest grandchild who had never met my family or seen my home. We had a great time and loved staying at Hampton Inn. It was clean (and yes, I am one of those who checks), comfortable and a great breakfast. The staff was very friendly and you could tell they loved their job. Definitely my place to stay when I come home!

    great location, near highway, clean, friendly front desk. spacious room, excellent Wi-Fi. overall very good. However, it did have some drawbacks. My room was a little bit noisy as it is close to the highway, the hotel sign is not easily visible from distance. Breakfast fruit was not fresh, I had stomachache after.

    I liked the staff. They were courteous and accommodating. The room had a foul order. Pillow case had mascara on it, one bed had crumbs in it, there was food on the floor near nightstand and the bathroom floor was sticky. Very bad experience. We would have asked for another room but my daughter who has MS and was very tired said that even if we changed rooms it would probably be the same because the same person had probably cleaned that room also.

    Great place to stay! Hotel is very clean. They have plenty of parking and location is safe and convenient. We have stayed here twice in the last 2 months and the front desk clerks are always friendly and welcoming. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and bathrooms are modern and clean as well. Very nice free breakfast with plenty of options. If you're looking for other food, walking distance to Cracker Barrel and other restaurants. There's even a movie theater you can walk to if you have extra time to kill. Looking forward to our next visit!

    Good clean property including the swimming pool. Front desk was always friendly and very helpful

    The women at the front desk upon check-in and check-out were both great. However, there was dirt and a dead bug under the vanity in the bathroom, there were a few strands of hair in the shower stall, the sheets in the pullout sofa were dirty and there were crumbs down in the side of the sofa.
