My room was clean, the shower was hot. I had a good experience.

The room was clean… but very musky smelling. Not like the pictures. Okay for the price.

We only stayed one night, the rooms need to be updated.

If you want a place to spend the night or 2, this would be a great stop. It gets a little noisy when the pools open, but kids will be kids so it didn't bother me... Just a little heads up for if anyone does 😉 staff was excellent, soft beds, pillows super comfortable and a pleasant experience all in all.

We needed a place to stay last minute due to a tornado warning while we were camping. We got 3 rooms for 3 adults and 8 kids (ages 9-15) It was responsibly priced and the rooms were nice. I really can’t complain about anything but I was disappointed in the “Continental” breakfast. Their breakfast only consisted of cereal, 1 type of danish, and make your own waffles. They offered coffee, water and of course milk to drink. No fresh fruit, pastries or bagels. And no juice. I guess I’m used to other hotels offering a little more for their “Continental” breakfast items. I wish I would’ve called but it was so last minute and I was assuming from past experience that this hotel would offer the same. I just wanted people to be aware because I read reviews and didn’t see any about the breakfast. It only mattered because we had 8 kids with us and of course they’re going to eat. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

The Hotel is nothing like they pictured it to be. The rooms were not deep cleaned and had a weird smell to them. I also did not feel safe staying here. Alot of people randomly hanging out in the parking lot and you could smell on odor of weed in the pathways.

Everything about the place was great

When we checked in the front Lobby had an intense smell of marijuana and stale smoke. The staff was nice and quick to give us our room and get us settled in. We headed to our room and upon opening the door we noticed we had a single bed however we had booked a double room so we went back to the desk to make a change and we had no issues doing so. The deluxe rooms are very nice and the staff were very welcoming as always. I come here very often, I have no complaints at all.

Room good as appeared recently renovated but few areas damaged by prior occupants such as tile at edge of bathroom door. Outside, neither vending machine worked and all washers / dryers out of order.

Sam working at front desk helped tremendously. I was working and traveling really late / early in the morning. Sam was able to accommodate me and got me checked in with ease. Great service! Thank you Sam.

Breakfast was disappointing. Room was spacious and clean. Towels were pathetic.

The negatives; the only negative I will remark on is that the door to the room didnt have a proper seal. The weather stripping/seal, was completely gone. Nothing but daylight around the door. This means noise from the hwy, air flow from current weather temps outside, and bugs freely capable of entering. Thats a simple cheap fix I hope they knock out quick. Itll save them money in the ling run anyhow. I do recommend this place and will stay there again when in the region!

Didn't even bother with the breakfast.

The place was clean and the beds were very comfortable.But there were no glasses in the room.Just two cups for coffee and there was no tea.Available either in the room or at the breakfast service

Toilet was to close to floor, shower rod had duct tape on it as a repair ac unit had to be turned real low to make room comfortable bed had squeak every time you move. there was some type of order in room. Packaged sweet cakes were just before being stale low water pressure at sink, floor in bath room needed cleaning around baseboard.

Rooms were clean, and beds were comfortable and big! The heat and air worked great. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Vanity faucet came off first thing when touched, Did not report because of time and schedule and worked thru a broken faucet handle. The breakfast was typical except for coffee from a dispenser that I thought would challenge my nerves if more than one person was ahead of me in line. Location was excellent for my purpose. The property is old, it's like a 2 story motel from the 50's., In dire need of a renovation from top to bottom.

I always do my research when booking rooms. The pictures were decent, the reviews were more than decent so imagine my surprise when I pulled up to check in. This place is older, breaking down, in a questionable area with people appearing to be engaged in suspicious activity outside in the parking lot. All other places were fully booked so I decided to check in - this process was fine, the staff was fine, just doing their job. But I get to my room and the musty smells gets me instantly, triggering my asthma. The toilet didn’t flush well, nothing is updated. Just not a good pick. Won’t stay here again. I am just relieved my car wasn’t broken into or stolen.

Used cigarets were left in ashtray outside the lobby and the lobby area (first impression) did not give confidence I was staying at a clean and safe property.

The staff at this motel (not hotel) was very nice and helpful. The property was disgusting. Cracks in the floor, visible patches in the wall. Everything old and patched together and our room reeked of smoke! Will never stay here again.

Photos were pretty close to the actual room. Room was quite dirty. Lots of dirt, hair and questionable red stains on the back of the bathroom door. Sheets were clean however. For the price you pay, it’s fine but keep expections as such. Staff was super nice. Pretty close driving distance to everything in Anderson. Came on a busy day in Clemson so other hotel choices were limited so would stay here again if in a lodging predicament but would likely choose a better hotel chain if available.

My room was clean and comfortable. There was a refrigerator and coffee maker, along with great breakfast to make my stay comfortable.

The food was not fresh, non smoking room smelled like smoke. The room felt damp bc of poor ventilation & front desk staff never in office always in someone hotel room on all 3 shifts!

The whole place reaked of marijuna the whole staff must of been smoking it we put our stuff in the room and left to meet some of the family we were down for my husbands brothers funeral like I said we left to meet some of the family and got back to the room around 9 or 9:30 and walked in to the room and smelled like someone had been in our room smoking marijuana it was so strong it would knock you down so they tried to move us to another room and my husband went to check the bed and he pulled the blanket from under the corner of Mattress and found a bed bug on his thumb so would I recommend this place No I Wouldn’t

Very, very clean and friendly staff.

This property met most of our needs. The air conditioner runs well, the rooms look very updated and clean, and the bed was comfortable. You can tell it’s an older place that’s been re-vamped. The breakfast, however, fell very short. We chose to stay here due to the included breakfast. That was a mistake. The offerings were pathetic and the area wasn’t clean. We didn’t even end up having breakfast due to the state of things. I would not stay here again.

Nice clean and quiet room, the staff was incredibly accommodating. Smooth late night check in process and easy check out the next morning as well. Definitely recommend as an easy place to stay for a solo traveler on a road trip.

Door would not open. They had to make a special key to open the door AFTER they accused us of doing something to the door. Would not let us use the key for our stay No maintenance man on site. On site people incapable of helping. Do yourself a big favor and don’t stay here

Stopped here on our way from Atlanta because it started raining. The night front desk guy was awesome and took care of us quickly. We was able to get into a nice King room and it was clean, It was right off the interstate we didn't have to go far.

We live in Atlanta but come down to hang with family at lake hartwell great place to stay always clean and quiet highly recommend.

Excellent. The staff are very accommodating and they're clean and courteous. The room are spotless upon arrival. Everyone is polite and the location is perfect for a weekend or extended vacation. I had a great stay at the Days Inn, I was touring the area on motorcycle with friends and reserved rooms……we were well received, the rooms were clean and ver comfortable. Sam does a great job as host to ensure your stay is nice! Will use this hotel again on future visits👍

Great location and great value near the lake! Friendly, attentive staff made sure I was comfortable for my stay. Bed was very comfortable and I especially enjoyed my full pot of coffee in the room! The room had everything I needed for my stay.

Room was very clean, the TV worked where other hotels we have staid in it did not. Quite no one bothered us. You could hear cars go by but that’s not a big deal once I sleep I generally sleep. The staff were amazing. The gentleman in the office worked with us as we got there very late. He treated us like family and not guests. Very enjoyable stay

I was very pleased with my visit at the Days Inn in Anderson, South Carolina. Jennifer, who was the front desk agent that afternoon was very helpful and even let me check in early. The room was extremely clean and quiet and comfortable. I totally give it five stars for being affordable and friendly and comfortable, and even having a breakfast in the morning. This hotel is a great value with excellent service.

We came to Lake hartwell for a fishing tournament and stayed here for the whole week. The rooms open to the outside but this is the only thing you can say that might be a compliment about this hotel. The rooms are completely upgraded and honestly it's one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in. There is a small continental breakfast with waffles, cereal, Muffins, fruits and coffee. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again.

This hotel in Anderson is a fantastic stay. It’s conveniently located near the interstate, close to restaurants and grocery stores, and the rooms are updated and clean. Plus, the price is really reasonable. Overall, a great experience!

I was at this location from Sunday to Friday this week, and I’m so grateful for how helpful and kind everyone on the staff was. My room was clean, of course, but the front desk team really went above and beyond to help me get through the work week. Breakfast was great too, the waffles and coffee were a perfect start to the day. I’ll be back this way later this year and will proudly book this location again!

Quiet the room is clean the bathroom we need a little work but I did that myself as you're comfortable. I will definitely recommend this place for friends.

My husband was booked here for an out-of-town work trip, so me and my 1 year old joined him for a couple nights. It was our first time spending the night away from home with the little one so I was a bit nervous. It went so well. The front desk put us in a quieter spot without me even asking, sam at the front desk was SO kind and courteous to us, going out of their way to greet us and giving my son a balloon. The room was really nice, updated and clean and so were the public areas and pool. Continental breakfast was great with lots of options. I was impressed with our stay and appreciate how easy they made our experience traveling with a little one. Thank you!

Ok for a weekend stay

Check in was easy and the location is convenient to Highway 85 and other major routes. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast was a nice start to the day. Spacious rooms and a good value overall.

The room was passably clean. There were stains on the sheets but they smelled clean (I travel with my own for such circumstances) I knew it wasnt the best because I had to be cheap this trip but the bathroom was not well cleaned (I carry cleaning supplies as well) The breakfast was sad and only served from 6a-9a but they ran out of waffle mix before 830a. If you're looking for a quick stay with zero expectations, this is your spot.

Last time I stayed in new building which was great. Last night stayed in main building and although claimed to be non smoking room, still smelled like it. Lots of noise from parking lot and road out front. If you choose this hotel ask to stay in new building on the hill. Had a great experience there. Not as great this time.

So much mold!!!!! The iron wire is supposed to be white l, literally black!!!! So much rust on the hangers , hanger rack almost falling off the wall!!!! Absolutely disgusting!!!!!! Walked in and walked out!!!!! Wasn’t taking ANY bugs home with me!!!! That place should be shut down!!!! And he wouldn’t give me all my money back!!!!

There is a big grassy area behind the building that was perfect for us to walk our dogs. The front desk staff were all very helpful with dinner suggestions and with helping me coordinate a late checkout when a work meeting was rescheduled.

So hear me out , snow storm, power goes out, main eater break. I went to check out, sweet sweet babygirl at the front desk put me in a suite for my second week of dtay. Wonderful Wonderful group

Room was clean and what you would expect, but the first night the power went out for hours then the next morning woke up with no water. Once the water line was fixed we still didn’t have water in our room. When asked for some sort of refund we’re given nothing. After complaining enough the next morning (went over 24 hours without shower or being able to flush the toilet or brush teeth) was finally told could use another room to shower but then had no hot water. Wouldn’t have been so bad if we had been give some sort of reimbursement or something.

Easy check in. The breakfast was absolutely awesome. My king size bed was like a giant hug. My room was exceptionally clean, and well stocked with all the necessities. Water pressure was amazing in the shower, and the water was HOT!! If I ever make it down that way again, I'll definitely stay there again.

We’ve stayed here several times, and it continues to be an excellent value. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with very cozy beds. Even though we arrived about an hour before the scheduled check-in time, we were accommodated quickly without any issues. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We’re always happy to stay here and would definitely return again.

This is a solid hotel and exactly what we needed after a long, exhausting day. The service was friendly, the room was spotless and recently renovated, and I really appreciated the LVP flooring instead of carpet. The bed was comfortable, the AC was quiet, and the hot shower had great water pressure. The price was more than fair for the quality, and having truck parking available was a big plus. I’d gladly choose a hotel like this again anytime.

This hotel is hidden Gem! I drove from Florida last minute and got in really late for the holidays. For one Great customer service. Apparently the rooms have been completely remodeled and were very nice and clean also the bed was very comfortable. It was a quite place to stay and well worth the money which was also not a bad price. I absolutely loved all of the staff they were super sweet, friendly, And very helpful with anything I needed. I would choose this place over any others near it. Oh the breakfast was also great as well! I will recommend this place to anyone and would be happy to stay here again in the near future!

I stayed for a couple of days during a business trip, and the experience was consistently good throughout my stay. The room was clean, quiet, and exactly what I needed to relax after a long day. What really stood out was the management. They were professional, helpful, and made sure everything was taken care of. Room was clean. Bathroom light didn’t work. The smell of “skunk”hit me the moment I went to register. The next morning the air was filled with “skunk”. Fortunately it did not penetrate our room. Chair outside the “skunk” room had cases of empty beer. No bag to put dirty clothes in. The room had been refurbished, but had a low potty. Hardee’s was a short walk.

I checked in tonight & was actually offered an upgrade, i took the offer not knowing i was stepping in to a night of pure bliss and good nights rest. The property is always so well kept, clean, quite and the the customer service... TOP NOTCH. from the owner himself, the few ladies and one gentleman is what youd want with pure southern hospitality. My upgrade was to their newly remodeled jacuzzi suite and let me tell you its beautiful, whoever their interior decorator is truly put their love and time into this room alone. Lets not to mention the entire property is decked out for the holidays and just feels so warm and welcoming. I couldn't be more pleased. 10000% recommend, you wont be disappointed. Happy & Safe travels.

nasty smell. bathroom smells bad with molds spots. uncleaned floors especially down the couch. eventhough there’s no rain, the floor keeps getting wet coz of the water outside that comes from the roof. we have wet shoes all the time as we walk in the bedroom. we want a place to relax and not to KEEP IT CLEAN.

I didn't have breakfast but the breakfast area was clean. It looked like they had waffle irons, cereal dispensers, coffee, juice & oatmeal which sounds like a pretty good free breakfast to me.

The location was good this is a motel not a hotel. Looks like they tried to do a little updating with painting and newer floors however whoever they hired to do this did a crappy job as you can see in the pictures. Paint from the wall drip down onto the tile in the floor paint on tile and shower floors not clean the way they should be. Room itself was spacious but not as clean as it needed to be just okay for one night stay but I would not stay again

The room was clean. Nice for the price. Was locked out for about 15 minutes but once the front desk associate returned it was fixed.

Customer service was awesome. Heat was off in the room they gave me. Maintenance was called immediately and they gave me a different room. They couldn't stop apologizing but they fixed it so fast I didn't think they needed to apologise - things happen. I would definately stay again when in the area

The breakfast needs coffee cups with lids and a better variety of tea. There was only one tea and it was great value.

The staff was polite and helped us quickly when we asked for an extra towel both days. The only negative we had was the free breakfast that had little to offer in the way of variety. Our second morning there we purposely ate breakfast at a restaurant instead.

Everytime I book a room with Days Inn I alway walk into a good smelling clean room. Any problems that I might have if I ever do they don’t hesitate to fix the problem right away. They serve a free breakfast every morning from 6am to 9am that’s very good. Sam and his staff are great when it comes to good customer service as well… they treat you like family all the time.

Clean property and rooms

The shower rod was rusty and had a section (app. 1 ft long) of old blue tape wrapped around it. There was long black hairs all over the shower wall (I have pictures). The roll around chair had wheels that were stuck, the bolts holding the back on were coming out, and the height adjustment was broken. Almost the entire floor had a film all over and was somewhat slippery in places.

Check-in was quick and easy. The room was updated and clean.

Didn't Eat

Noisy, could hear people next door talking. Tiny pillows. Floors dirty with red clay, stained our socks and feet. Bedding so rough it left my skin raw.

The guy at the front desk looked like he'd rather be anywhere but there and was never at the desk. He had no personality or ....anything. The lady who did breakfast is the star of the hotel. She was on point and made fantastic eggs and sausages. She was friendly and quick. They have weird pillows, sounds funny but it made for an awkward sleep. We had a king bed and they had 4 square pillows instead of regular pillows. They were maybe 16x16 so your head doesn't stay on the pillow. Not comfy. We should have asked for different pillows but honestly didn't think too.

The room i got was clean, and simple, had a microwave and mini fridge. Breakfast was poor, there was no options. The doors are thin so whatever is going on outside you will hear clear as day. Staff was very nice.

Last night i took a well needed night to myself. When i arrived i was offered an upgrade to their NEWLY remodeled Jacuzzi room, i was excited! I was blown away when i walked in, this room was beautiful from top to bottom, i was told that Sherry in the office decorated it and she done a wonderful job. I got exactly what i was after and more, a night full of peace and quiet and top notch relaxation. Thank you Sam for the upgrade. I will return.

Threshold is about 5 inches too short for doorway, critters get under door into room. Key card had to be re-programmed every time we came back. Floor was exceptionally greasy. Mattress cover had some nasty stain that looked like mold.

For the $ it was ok ,front desk person was very nice, big room, older place that could benefit from some renovation,. There was coffee packs in room but no coffee maker and I saw a dead roach by bathroom door.

The ac unit was draining its condensation into the room. So yhere was a puddle under it. Room was dirty.

There were people hanging out in the parking lot who did not have a room and they were fighting and causing problems and I had to call law enforcement due to them pulling a knife on someone! That behavior made my stay dangerous and unpleasant.

Negative: Our room was in the older building and there's no insulation from noise. You hear everything, including the street noise. Friday night we hardly slept. Also, when we arrived the floor was still wet, dirty and in the bathroom it was very slippery. My friend cleaned and dried the floors with a bath towel. Positive: The staff were ALL very nice, very friendly, and always wished us a good day. Also, the beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. We really enjoyed the pool and loved the easy access to the main road. Also, the hotel is not far from the freeway. Finally, it was a great price and I would stay here again.

Rude and hateful staff members and lie to customers saying manager would be at the office desk until 7 pm and that was a lie and charged 2 times for a pet despot and didn't have kitten in the h pet despot and kitten was only 4 days old and was never out of its carrier in the room the first room kitten slept in the car then brought in the second room after rude staff members made us change rooms and accuse me of smoking in the room and that was a lie as well because I was outside and at work and no one smoke in the room after I always clean my room every time I stay at the hotel room charge 780 Buck and cause my bank account charges were 60 bucks for funds removed from my account without amy permission and ask the desk clerk and was very rude and hateful so after I checked out I am the morning will be taking to to head Corp manager about his employer

I paid $1099.99 days before my arrival, when I got there they claimed not to have a king smoking that I had booked, still gave me a king and handed me a cup for an ashtray. the sink stopped up 2 days after I was there and remained that way after I had reported it, I had to use the vanity sink , did not have a comforter on the bed and the toilet seat was off track. all that money for 1 week and I haven't received any points for use towards a future stay.

There was a live roach in the room. The toilet was loose and rocked back when you sat on it. The bathroom door was too tight and hard to open and close. The floors felt sticky. No coffee maker in the room for that “first” cup of coffee in the morning. Very disappointed!

There was nothing but the price I liked about this hotel. It’s smelled like a foot, staff was rude. Check in was at 3pm didn’t get there til after 4pm and room still wasn’t ready. Moved us after waiting for 20 mins in the sun, for them to give us a room that the door didn’t fully or lock my 3 year old just pullled on the door and it popped open. People have to realized you can’t just throw some paint on it and call it new. Please don’t take your kids there.

This is probably the nastiest place I’ve ever stayed. Very dirty! The floors in the room were disgusting and looked like they haven’t been cleaned in months. The lamps were dirty and dusty. The outside was completely nasty! And the pool area was awful. The water was dirty, I’m not even sure the pumping system works for the pool. The area around it was very dirty. Multiple things left around and in the pool from guests without being cleaned up. 10/10 would not recommend! And probably won’t ever be staying again.

The breakfast was all carbs. Boiled eggs would be nice. There was a sign saying "no cream" for two days straight. There was letter around the pool for two days straight. There was no one at the desk on check out, even ringing the bell.
