The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was perfect.

Breakfast was good on Saturday but was just OK on Friday.The location was very convenient . There was a water leak from the small refrigerator in the room. We wiped it up with a towel but it kept returning.

No extra rooms available. Later we were moved to Room 209. 3. When front dest guy took us over to Room 209, the light didn't work above bed and he never offered us a bulb. He could have cared less. 4. There wasn't a phone in Room 209. 5. Microwave door would jam (poor condition). 6. Refrigerator needs to be defrosted. Massive chunk of ice built up.

The pool was a little chilly, but everything was wonderful. The room was spotless. The air-conditioning was cold. The bed was comfortable and the young lady upfront was just as sweet as could be. We also enjoyed breakfast as well.

The staff was friendly and our room was clean but the appearance of our room was a bit tired, there was a tear in the curtain and the black out blind was not hanging right. The pool did not look clean. We did enjoy having breakfast every morning. Parking was very convenient.

However, I appreciated the attempt to provide a variety of options. Also, it was at a good price point and customer service was fast and friendly. Better pest control. There were roaches in the rooms. Better lighing needed at the entrance and there was a strong odor of mold and cigarettes.

The hotel was fine. However, we ended up having to go buy some sheets at the Walmart down the road because the front desk employee said he couldn’t give us any extra since the room already had an extra set in the closet. We needed a third set to cover the extended couch for our 5 year old daughter to sleep on. Our other daughter was using the pull out bed and my wife and I were using the bed. Other than that everyone was friendly and helpful.

The decor was nice. Ther were NO CURTAINS,to block out the light! Who thought that was a good idea? FIRE HIS ASS! My google review will reflect this matter.I had court the next day and fought without getting rest at YOUR motel. NEVER AGAIN

Very disappointing breakfast. Very little choices.

On of the other parents in our group said it best. It’s “aggressively fine”. Professional, courteous staff, clean rooms, and easy access to the interstate to offset the noisy room and run-of-the-mill breakfast. Parking was adequate. Check-in was easy. Bathroom was pleasant and clean.

Convince to University. Plenty or food and gas nearby The first room I was given the AC unit didn’t work and the room was hot. Went back to check in and was given a second room. The second room fan vent in the bathroom was blowing so loudly it was whistling and the cover plate fell out of the ceiling. The mini fridge motor was also humming so loudly I had to unplug it. Otherwise decent stay and comfy bed.

The bed was clean and comfortable which was the main thing I needed as I arrived late and needed sleep badly. However, there were a lot of lights (microwave, heating/cooling unit, and a flashing 'message' light on the phone that couldn't be cleared) that I had to cover with towels as I have a hard time sleeping with light shining (or flashing) in my face. Breakfast was good!

Cleanliness Elevator didn’t work one day and I had to go down 3 flights of stairs. I wouldn’t have minded with younger knees, but that’s not the case, unfortunately.

The room was supposed to be on the first floor but the room was on the 4th floor. Also the toilet was clogged and when we talked to the front desk they handed us a plunger.

Offered to show my service animal training paperwork but was advised that SC honors the animal current status only, therefore we could not stay n our reservation was nonrefundable so we didn’t receive a refund.

This hotel is awesome. Friendly staff, clean and comfy. It is our second time staying there because we were so impressed the first time. We tried other hotels in the area before finding this one and they didn't go back to them. Nothing. Everything was wonderful. Couldn't ask for a better stay.

The day staff checked the room and came back with a towel and a $10 fee for an “unremovable” spot. It was from beauty products that I use everywhere and have never had an issue before. It comes right out. And when she was addressed by my husband, she was rude and refused to acknowledge him. The day staff (specifically Ariya) can use some hospitality training.

Room was very clean and comfortable!! Was there for the 4th annual Bonfire and the room was right on time! I will most definitely be visiting again. The only issue with me was the breakfast, I wanted grits, cheese and granola with my yogurt and unfortunately that wasn't part of their menu....Other than that, everything was AWESOME!!

We were informed upon arrival that the elevator was broken and if we didn't want to climb the stairs we could stay at a sister hotel beside ours. That hotel has smaller rooms and less amenities. No discount was offered. No notice of the broken elevator was given until checking in.

Room was very clean, the staff were friendly. My only complaint was that the elevator was down so I had to use the stairs & I was on the 3rd floor. Other than that the stay was great! Will definitely be coming back when I take my annual trip to Anderson.

The staff were terrific and welcoming. Our room was clean, but had too much cleaning product odor. At lease we knew it was clean. I don't like toxic cleaning chemicals in the air. The bed was comfy and we slept well.

So the friendly staff and delicious breakfast and comfy room was amazing! The only issue was the elevator doesn’t work (to no fault of the staff). Will definitely be back!

Bathroom floor was buckled and tub/shower would leak water all over the floor when you would take a shower. Other than that everything was fine with stay and room . We mentioned to cleaning staff so maybe they will address the issue .

So rooms was great, are fridge in our room was broke, but no biggie, only down fall me and my husband had was the coffee it was so watered down we are coffee drinkers so that is a big thing for us but other then that great stay o they could of used a seating area out side that would of been nice

We payed for every one to have a bed. Im resourceful and figured it out, but i wasnt happy. When i asked for extra bedding the guy was resistant telling me that my room had all the bedding i needed. I explained that my kid without a bed- because the listing was incorrect- needed bedding. He reluctantly obliged. The hotel smells strong of Fabuloso or Mr. Clean. The manager told my teens they were not allowed out of our room without me...my 15 year old routinely takes his sister to breakfast and starts pancakes or waffles for us so that we can leave quickly in the mornings. My 13 year old typically brings me a vup of coffee while i get dressed. My boys then load the car while i attend to the the younger sisters. We travel often enough to have set routines and expectations. This "Every one with mama rule cramped our style and slowed our trip." Note: this manager is also over the residence inn on the same block. I wont use either hotel again.

There are fairly good places to eat within walking distance. The room was clean and the ac was cold. Couple of issues- water pressure in showers was too low and temp of water was barely lukewarm. Pool was warm but kinda gross- had some kind of built up dirty film around the inside tiles

My family and I greatly enjoyed staying at this property. The area was nice and very convenient. Fine dining was only a few steps away. We would most definitely stay here again.

She claimed there was a recent remodel that reworked the ventilation system but it worked better in some rooms than others. (The couple travelling with us didn't have any issue) The Continental breakfast was well stocked with plenty of options, and care was taken to keep the area neat and clean. Every staff member I came in contact with was cordial and helpful. The indoor pool area was nice, however it could have used some ventilation as well. It was more like a sauna, but the kids seemed to enjoy it. A roof or wall vent would have been nice to pull out some of the hot humid air. All in all, it was a good stay, and conveniently located. We would stay again.

It is a great location near I-85. It appeared to be recently renovated. We are older and my husband is disabled. It was so nice to have a step in shower without getting an accessibility room.

Also, this hotel has a lot of construction workers living in it. I had a hard time sleeping because it sounded like the unit above me. Look, I was doing construction work or something because all night long, it kept sounded like somebody was banging on the walls with a hammer. Room was clean and the bed was pretty comfortable but I will not be staying here again.

Quality deteriorating. Bed was hard and uncomfortable, curtains didn't close outside light glaring through the window so the room was never dark enough to sleep. Restroom floors were pulling up. Shower faucet was broken away from the wall. I think they reuse old hand soap and repackage it. At least that's what ours looked like. Pillows were nice.

Clean room and friendly staff. The breakfast was okay. Cracker Barrel is across the street which my husband took advantage of. Clemson was an easy drive to catch the game.

We came into town for a funeral. We found the facility and surrounding area to be top notch. The room was clean and quiet. The staff was helpful and hospitable. We had a good rest after traveling all day. Would highly recommend as a restful place to stay when traveling on this area.

We liked that there were a lot of food options nearby. It was also conveniently located off the highway. The staff were super nice and friendly. We checked in really late after a late ballgame and it was easy to check in so we could go to sleep. The only thing I would change would be the pull out couch. It would have been nice to have a little more padding and comfort to that mattress.

It does what it’s advertised to do. Provide a couple of good beds, pillows and a clean bathroom. The desk in the room was helpful. We stayed because we needed a place to sleep and be close to Clemson. Good dining options close by- walkable if necessary.

The shower had some hair in it when we arrived. I wouldn’t describe this place a filthy but it could have been cleaner. The person who was at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. It was very clean

The rooms were very clean and the staff was remarkable. The pool was actually open and the kids love the indoor pool. Our overall stay was outstanding.

The moment we walked into our room we noticed the ac was on but not cold. It was set on 60° but never got below 73°. The pools floor and steps are extremely sharp and rough I wouldn’t recommend for children or people with sensitive feet. Overall we had a nice stay bed was so comfortable!

Check in was terrible. I requested an early check in but the front desk would not let anyone check in until 3:00 on the dot! There was a concert in the area that many people were checking in for but were unable to. I felt this was very intentional. The hotel should have been able to turn those rooms around knowing there was an event in the area and they had a full house. I have never had a hotel intentionally wait for check in time (3:00) to allow people to check in. Totally Ridiculous.

The hotel was ok and the breakfast was satisfactory! The only problem was they said they would service our room with fresh towels every day but they only did one of our 3 day stay!

The hotel was very clean and most importantly my room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. I definitely got a good nights rest.

Please get better pillows, the pool had either too much salt at bottom of it or it was sand. Please in small print out deposit amount and what cards are acceptable. Luckily I had cash on me. If I know the pool was gonna be dirty I would have went elsewhere, only reason why I booked was bcuz the indoor pool.

I came here to visit my daughter in South Carolina and Anderson and a hotel. I read there was a lot of bad reviews, but I didn’t have one bad experience. Everything was wonderful. The stuff was nice. The food was awesome for breakfast and I had an awesome time. I just wanted to say thank you

The front desk manager is the best

The outside of the building doesn't look as nice as some of the surrounding hotels, so we were worried. It was clean, the building just did not look as nice. Once we got inside, it was very clean and very nice. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was very clean. It would have been nice to have more soap, shampoo and conditioner but there was a sign that you only had to ask for it. I would definitely stay at this location again.

The property and staff were good overall. We traveled with teens who wanted to use the pool. The pool was dirty.

Charging people for if they take breakfast to enjoy in the privacy of their room is ridiculous. Then upon leaving the cleaning staff had the isle blocked. So i moved said cart out of the way and the cleaning staff was over heard by the guests behind me cussing about me moving the cart. Totally unprofessional.

The ladies were very pleasant, and the gentleman that was there he was very helpful aswell

Always clean rooms

Our stay was absolutely perfect, right up until the very last interaction we had checking out. Not sure what the issue was but the manager at the desk along with a cleaning staff decided it would be best to have an open conversation about the room my family and I stayed infront of other guests as if our room had a problem. When I asked what the problem was, she mentions a photo the cleaning staff took and questioned me about it. When I gave my explanation she had an attitude and sent me on my way. Literally every staff member we encountered leading up to the manager and cleaning staff were excellent and professional. We appreciate the courtesy shown by weekend staff, which they happen to be all black. I wish I gathered their names because I had planned on giving 5 stars because of them specifically. The minor issues we had with our room was overlooked because of how welcoming and accommodating the 3 weekend staff were. 1 lady and 2 gentlemen. Thanks for a pleasnt time.

Absolutely dirty. Filthy. Stunk as soon as we walked in. Will not return.

The hotel looked nice and renovated on the inside and out, but once we got in the room and pulled down the covers on the bed there was a huge ball of hair. The front desk guy was by himself and swamped so he gave us sheets to change the bed ourselves! The kids couldn’t use the indoor pool that was supposed to be heated because it was freezing cold. The AC in the room was shotty and would only work with the fan on manual setting. We won’t be back.

Property was in a great location, and overall, we had nice stay. The only negative is that because the hotel is open in the middle, the sound carried and it was extremely noisy until well after 10pm.

Clean rooms and friendly staff

The bedding had not been changed and had hair on the sheets. It was late and there was an extra sheet in the closet so we stripped the bed and used the flat sheet. The room seemed clean but the bed was absolutely not clean.

Only issue was its winter and indoor pool was cold - should probably be mentioned to guests before they go buy swim wear

Breakfast it was not that great

The staff was horrible and had bugs in the room and they didn’t want to change my room since I booked through Expedia

This was to say the least the most unsanitary hotel my family and I have ever stayed. The first room smelled like something died in it, so we moved to another room. That room the sheets and the curtains were disgusting. I wanted to leave but the lady said since we booked with a 3rd party there was nothing she could do. We had the worst night sleep ever, the food the next morning we were honestly scared to eat it. I took a picture of a lemon that they left in the lemon water that was molded. I told the from desk and to my demise it was still there the very next morning. I don’t know what else to say, but I’m in disgust
