We had to get a last minute, very late night room due to a sudden change with other accommodations. Didn't know anything about the area- looked at Booking .com- this Motel6 was the closest and only available. We didn't know what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised- the check in was perfect and the front desk person was very kind. The property was secure, safe and very clean. Room was very large, secure, safe and sparkling clean. It was basic, updated motel 6- I love the clean flooring. Checkout was very pleasant with the same person at the desk. Great price! They should get a raise! They made me feel better about the change in circumstances, and I'm more likely to stay at motel 6 again! Thank you! All good

Tub old and broken sounded as though it would fall through to the next floor. Rubber patching to cover holes. Shower rusted shut to switch from bath to shower, manager had to come to get it to turn on with a tool. Uncomfortable bed and tub walls. Short trip, but hardly slept. Basic for the price though, safe area at least.

Close to I-5 off ramp and Safeway & other shopping options. Nice parking lot with a cross street & other businesses nearby. Ice making was working compared to other Motel 6 previously visited CA locations. Shower/tub faucet fixtures need reparis or replacement. Pillows and mattress were mediocure quality, but room was clean & had a fridge, microwave & coffee maker with sugar etc. Would choose this location over other Redding Motel 6s if stayed there in the future.

However, the guy who works late night early morning leaves alot to be desired. Rude, rude, rude. Never caught his name we called him Mr Personality, but he needs not work in hospitality. Mr Personality the coffee is empty........he walks out not 1 morning but both. Guess making the free coffee they offer is just to difficult. Free coffee from 6am-9, coffee gone by 6am and he has no interest in making more. What more can I say he sucks. Dee was an absolute pleasure she gets 6 stars

The room itself wasn't that great You can tell that get a quick once over construction wise. And I got the smoking room just because I didn't know that I still had those. But it was disgusting smelling. I do smoke but that was kind of bit much. But overall a good time

The bathroom door would not close and the amenities were next to zero. Definitely just a place to stay and leave.. Dirty tub and the drapes did not close properly.

I don't know if all the rooms were like our king room but it was HUGE. I really liked that it wasnt cluttered with furniture that is often not even used. I would absolutely stay at this location again. 🌺

When they provide a non-smoking room that is what you get; not a room that has been sprayed to disguise cigarette odors that makes it smell as bad or worse than just cigarettes. I am a former smoker who cannot abide even walking by someone smoking outdoors. I do not rate frequently. These proprietors really make the effort and it shows. They're also very nice people. Anderson is a good layover on a long road trip, and Motel 6 Anderson is within walking distance of groceries and fast food too. We've stayed there before, and look forward to returning.

For the price point, it was clean, the lady behind the desk went above and beyond and I felt relatively safe. My only negative would be that the doors were not opened at 6 o’clock for coffee. Fortunately, I’m not much of a coffee drinker. I was able to walk over to Burger King into a market to get a few things and again I felt perfectly safe.

There was no breakfast, served Coffee at 6am, but I checked out before that. The pillows were very flat, the bed when I sat on the edge sank to the frame. I would say time to upgrade both.

TV was difficult to operate. No home page where you can select a program to watch. Fixtures in the bathtub were loose.

The room was thoughtfully remodeled. There were usb ports, ample surfaces to put luggage off the floor, reading lights controlled from the bed, small fridge and microwave. The bed and linens were comfortable.

It’s a Motel 6 it does what it needs to do. Room I had was really spacious so that was nice. Ear plugs are always a good idea with hotels AC for sure.

The beds were TERRIBLY uncomfortable, and the pillows couldnt be more paper thin. Like a 24" tv. Cmon now. Cigrette burns in the blanket as well. ...super squeaky shower floor too. Nice big rooms though.

Located close to my relative Place was dirty, there was no service for towels and they required a $150 room deposit, which has not yet been returned to me.

The most noteworthy aspect of this Motel 6 in Anderson, California, is the incredible quality of the management. They genuinely care about their guests and go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels welcomed and comfortable during their stay. It’s clear they understand the importance of a positive experience and strive to create a supportive environment for all. Nothing.

Its a Motel 6 so very budget friendly, but in our room the a/c unit was on its last legs and very loud with a squeeling noise emanating from it and the fridge was also loud. Suprisingly this drowned out any noise from the nearby freeway so small victories.

Checking in not very professional clerk had a mouth full of chewing tobacco. Morning clerk was very professional. Bed very hard bed sheets kinda worn out

I new this would be a pretty basic room which was fine as we were just stopping for the night on our way north on I-5. The room was very large and reasonably furnished, soap and shampoo, but no Kleenex's. The only issue I had with the room (and hence the stay) was that our non-smoking room REEKED OF SMOKE, our second non-smoking room also smelled of smoke but not as badly. In retrospect I didn't specifically as for a different room, but going back to the office (to get batteries for the TV remote) and mentioning to the staff person that the room smelled of smoke he said " thanks for letting me know, we won't ding you for that on checkout". Also on check-in I thought it was a bit odd that we had to pay a deposit ($100) for the two rooms we rented, the person on staff suggested we pay cash as we would have to wait 7-10 days to see a credit on our charge card if we were to use that. In the morning fortunately there was no one ahead of us at checkout as the only staff person had to lock up the office and go and check the two rooms to make sure we hadn't caused any damage or taken anything. We received our deposit back with no hassles. The room rate was quite low and looking around some of the folks staying seemed to be possibly struggling a bit, maybe this is the norm for this rate?

Pretty much what you’d expect. Not terrible, not amazing. I probably wouldn’t stay here if I was going to be on an extended trip, but one night with a large dog was fine. The rooms are very large though, so it was easy to have some friends over to get ready together.

I enjoyed my stay at the Motel 6 Anderson. I was there six nights. The staff and service were good. The room and Wi-Fi service were also good. The only problem that I had was with the TV reception. The channels wouldn't show at times or would pixilate and freeze up. I did report it and they were aware of it since it was occurring throughout the site. They did get it repaired by approx. mid-week. Everything was fine after that.

We really enjoyed this large comfortable room. The King sized bed was new and just the perfect firmness. There was lots of space for the gear we did not wish to leave in the car. Invited three friends in for a door dash dinner and there was plenty of room for all of us. And we had a wet room style shower which was a real treat! Room 112. Will definitely book again.

I really wish Motel 6 would not allow people to smoke outside on the balcony or right outside of their rooms. It was impossible to keep the cigarette smoke from coming into my room.

For a motel fantastic decent area 2 moms and 4 kids felt safe and welcome the parking lot is very very very lit up in the night so you feel very safe if you arrive late as we did. They were very accommodating with our room location requests and very late check in, will definitely be staying here again on our way to Disney next year

Initially I was assigned a room that hadn't been cleaned for the day. Food wrappers, TV on, bed unmade, like someone was still there. It was 1am when I was finally able to check in (because of late flight and was unable to get a taxi from the tiny airport until over an hour after I landed) so it was an added inconvenience to find out the room wasn't cleaned but they quickly assigned me a clean room so it wasn't a huge deal. I was in a new room within 5 minutes. It was fine. Clean, basic. No shampoos in the shower so I didnt end up using the shower. Overall experience was fine.

I've been happy with my stays at different Motel 6 Hotels before, but this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The floor was so filthy that when I put my (once clean) feet on the sheets, it left dirt stains. The toilet was stopped up from the beginning. The bed spread had about 5 holes burned into it. One of the towels had a 4x4" inch hole in it. (Why would they keep using that!) I needed something from the main office, and it took an hour and another phone call for me to get it. I left feeling really gross!

Arrived 9:30 PM. Lobby was locked no attendant on duty. Rang buzzer several times. Called the property no answer. No sign on the walk up window stating I’ll be back. Waited 20 more minutes.Ended up calling the police. Before they arrived attendant came back. No apologies for being away so long. Never go there again

Dont let the photos fool you, this is a dirty motel. Half the towels had stains, the room smelled of wet dog, and the floor felt dirty.

When I first arived They couldnt find the confromation # and I had to wait over an hour to finally be able to check in. Iam disabeled and ask for a disability room so I could get in the shower. The room was not was not what I asked for and did not reach my accomidations

I've stayed here before was happy. But this stay the room was not good. I got a good discounted online rate. Room was not horrible but needs work. Bathtub has mold, walls, bathroom door dirty.

The room was dirty, cig holes in the beds mattress sheets and blanket, even though it’s not a non smoking room, drugged out maid service lady, dirty floors, only 1 pillow covered out of 3, and the bed sheets give one mean rash, could not get extra room even if plenty were open, and the room 109 I’m in has a dying card scanner so it takes 3 minutes in the cold November night to get in the room.

Very clean and spacious, wifi was spotty made work a little frustrating but that's the only complaint. Good water pressure fridge work great as well as microwave. Very spacious

Credit card machine was down so we had to go get cash to check-in. Room was dirty and bathroom did not appear to have been cleaned. Had to go request toilet paper from desk person. Bed was broken and squeaked all night. If we had not been driving all day and arrived late, we would have changed rooms but for a quick nap it didn’t seem worth the trouble. We’ve stayed here before and had better experiences but this was too much. Won’t be back. Re-do and deep clean room 115 or just seal it up for good.

We stayed in room 222.. room was dirty, shower was dirty, hair all over the room and on bed, there was shampoo and a bath luffa in the shower, cob webs, table and chairs dirty, towels were stained and seems dirty, blood stains on walks, burgers on the walls.. it was a horrible experience

Couldn’t sleep. Drug and alcoholics out in front of door all night talking. Asked them to be quiet made it worse. Front desk was no help. Couldn’t stay the second night due to having a 3 hour drive the next day and I needed to sleep. Would like to have the second night reimbursed.

I was disappointed that the beautiful pool was not open. It was in a great location near lots of food places..

Too expenson went its just one person

The room are spacious i love the size of the beds and the coziness off room. There are a lot of homeless that hangout by the car wash but they do their own thing will say hi and keep to themselves I have stayed many times at this motel 6 and never seen any issues with them or with cars getting broke into.

This property is in a good location for travelers passing through. “No contact” check-in, but the personnel were friendly. Parking right outside the room. Gas, grocery, food very close. Room and linens very clean. However, the room was pretty bare. Ref, microwave, TV, small table. Overpriced for what we got. If you just need a clean, safe, convenient place to sleep, then it’s great. If you want something cozy and comfortable, this probably isn’t it.

It was a place to sleep on a long road trip. They need to replace curtain on the window we had to rubber band it shut.
