SpringHill Suites Anaheim Maingate

I recently stayed at springhill in Anaheim I usually go to element but they were booked, so I decided to get another hotel and came across this one which I’m always scared to try a new hotel outside of my comfort zone. So when I checked in everything was fine the staff at front desk did the process and when it came to pay i paid the room and she asked for a 150 for deposit paid with my card and done. Got to my room fridge was not working and microwave was broken told the night staff but no one came up. I called and went down nothing was done. Omg also the pillows are the worst no sort of comfort at all you might as well lay without it. Sofa beds were uncomfortable then around 1am my card was charged I didn’t give authorization they took 282.33 from my card and I went down in the morning and told them and they said that was for accidental okay so I next day we were out all day in Disney when we left our room is the way we left it came back clean and my husband noticed his wedding ring band and 2 bracelets were missing

the location is what we expected. we appreciated that pets were allowed. the breakfast kept our stomachs happy. the tv or internet is outdated. we were unable to connect to netflix. the other channels we were able to connect to were spotty. this was disappointing since i need the television to help me relax. the temperature was difficult to maintain. i did not like that the air conditioning unit was right next to the bed. it made it difficult to fall asleep and stay asleep.

The breakfast foods were very good. Everything was superclean. I think this is the best motel I have stayed in that was a value kind of hotel. Very close to Disneyland. The trundle bed that we had in our room was hard not very comfortable to sleep in for 3 nights. The pool was heated but lukewarm not very enjoyable. The hot tub. was varying temps 1 day hot the next day lukewarm. Did not like paying for parking. We tried to ask housekeeping directly for directions and alot could not speak English.

Staff were friendly, room was exactly as expected, the gym and pool area were perfect for our needs, and breakfast was always well stocked with plenty of seats for all guests. If you like pillows that are supportive, the down pillows on the bed were the only downside. Easy walk to Disney!

The highlight is the cleanliness of our room and the overall layout. Bed were comfortable and the AC is cold!!!this one is great because when you set it at cold it is cold and stays that way til you’re freezing! I hope they dont change it in the summer. Definitely will come back to this hotel with this amenity alone. My only very minor complaint would be the pillows, they have 0 firmness by next mornings you’re almost laying flat on the bed. Breakfast was great with good selection.

Rooms were extremely clean, beds were very comfortable, and multiple beds made for great sleeping. Bathroom was very large and functional. The pool was warm and swimable. Spa felt great after a long day at Disney. The hotel is very close to Disney and an easy walk (about a mile still but easy for adult or older kids.

Room. Morning and night. Kids running down the halls at 6:30 in the morning was annoying also. Decent breakfast offered. Charging $33 a day to park on top of all Of the other fees seems a bit ridiculous even though I know most places do. All of the staff we interacted with were very nice and helpful

This was a nice place to stay if you can walk long distances. It was a long walk to the park entrance everyday. We Ubered several times at the end of our day in the park. We walked to the entrance to the park by the Disneyland Hotel each day so you have to go through downtown Disney before you can enter either park. It was a quiet location. Nice pool and hot tub. The fireworks were loud each night. Clean, nice rooms, good breakfast.

Overall the stay was enjoyable with an easy walking distance to the parks. The breakfast layout needs improvement to allow for better flow during the busier times, where the eating utensils are placed between appliances making it inconvenient while reaching over people or hot toasters to get utensils.

Our room was spacious and clean. The lobby area appears to have been recently remodeled and updated. The hotel is well-maintained. It is a 15-20 minute walk to the security area of Downtown Disney. Would definitely stay again and would recommend this location to others visiting Disneyland and California Adventure!

From the moment I checked in, I felt welcome and comfortable. My room was large and clean and well-equipped. Breakfast was great and convenient. It was about a 18-20 minute walk to Disneyland. Access to the park was simple and quick - hardly anyone used the security entrance in the back of Downtown Disney near the employee parking lot. Bed, shower, and in-room fridge were all really great. This is a very nice property!

Feels like such a tucked away gem! So much lovelier and more peaceful than the other hotels close to Disney. Our front desk greeter was exceptionally kind and helpful which really meant a lot getting in after a hectic travel day. Excellent experience across the board.

The hotel is updated and beautiful with plenty of tables and chairs in a common area. We enjoyed hanging out there to read or work. Our rooms were large, two beds and a pullout couch. I only have two complaints. One, the beds were really uncomfortable. We woke up throughout the night. The mattress had a dip but feel really hard and I would wake up with neck and shoulder pain. Two, the AC was very loud and blew very cold air by the bed. Whoever is sleeping on that bed would freeze while trying to cool down the room. We could not keep it on through the night. And the room became really warm.

Breakfast: a typical average hotel breakfast. Nothing to talk about, but not as bad as some reviews indicated either. Ok to start your day. Location: it may be close to the Disneyland parks geographically... but not really walkable. You have to either walk 0.7 miles around the large parking structure to the tram that will take you to the parks (so added time), or walk twice as more directly to the park. Walking all day in the park + extra 1.5-3 miles is not our idea of the best way. No shuttle provided either, so we used ride share which receptionist also recommended as the best option upon check in. Inexpensive and works great in the morning, pickup may take a while from the park if you try to leave around park closure time. Next time if we want to stay in a hotel close to the park, we'd chose one from a few right across the entrance.

Modern hotel around the corner from Disneyland

It wasn't as convenient of a location as I thought. The walk was longer than I expected. I suppose I was use to being closer and we have stayed on property more times than not so I wasn't use to walking as much. There were only two elevators and one elevator wasn't working the two nights we were there. The systems were down when we checked in and apparently some guests had to wait 5 hours to check in. But, not use thankfully. We arrived just when their system got back up. Definitely not enough towels in the rooms which I had to ask for and go down to get because there isn't enough staff to bring it up to you. Same with extra linens.The rooms are spacious and modern. However, the AC unit literally right by the bed and blows on the person sleeping on that side of the bed and can be quite uncomfortable if you are the kind of person that gets cold like me. Overall stay was fine, but I think in the future I'll opt to spend a little more and stay closer and or on property like we usually do. We didn't do the breakfast just the coffee which was good.

Disneyland family vacation not far from the park clean. Quiet an comfortable

The only thing I liked was two ladies that maintained the breakfast area, Linda and Sylvia. They were very sweet and helpful and offered me assistance when they saw me struggling on my knee scooter. The staff st Goofy's Kitchen didn't even do that. I booked a room with a kitchenette, but when I got there, they told me that they only had 3 and already gave them to someone else. One elevator was not operational and the other one's permit expired in November. Also, on the 1st day we were there, the faceplate of the bathroom sink wasn't properly attached and fell, hitting my shin and falling on my foot, causing both to significantly swell and bruise, making my entire 8-day trip miserable.

My family and I loved how modern and clean this property was. It’s very close to the Disneyland Resort (as it is located right behind the parks). It is a 15 minute walk but there also is a shuttle/bus located right in front of the hotel that takes you right to the park. The staff is very friendly and informative. Complimentary breakfast was also included with the stay. Highly recommended and has become our go to hotel when going to Disneyland!

Hotel and room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower was terrible. No water pressure from shower and small little stream, not pleasant. Breakfast was horrible. Items had no taste or watery. One small little waffel station for the entire hotel. Booked this hotel for breakfast included in price amd shuttle and the room rate per night is not cheap. We tried breakfast once and terrible, ended buying breakfast every day. Shuttle not as expected and wish they would explain it more on the web site cause i would not have chosen this hotel if I knew the breakfast was this bad and shuttle was terrible. We ended up paying for Uber every day. Charged for daily for parking our car but all the front spots was beaconed off. You pay for extra for every litlle thing. I felt like they just want to make money off me. Again I will not stay here ever again. Checknl in was not great. Just an ok stay.

SpringHill Maingate Anaheim is close to Disneyland. The rooms are spacious and comfortable although they could use a refresh or renovation to update them. The towels are a little threadbare. Housekeeping is only every other day, which is a little disappointing but they do leave enough towels for two days.

We have stayed here a few times when visiting Disneyland with family. You can walk the back way to the park in 10 minutes, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and it has a pretty good breakfast buffet included.

Randy at front desk is the best!!! He gave me a pin for my first time at disney and even offered my boyfriend and I complimentary waters since we were going to disneyland in the heat!! He takes care of his guests! I recommend staying at spring hill suites if you want a special experience !

Very convenient location to walk to Disneyland. Bus stop is also outside hotel as well as a Shell convenience store/gas station. Looks to have ample parking but we didn't use. Free breakfast was nice with waffles, cereals, toast, sausage, eggs, juice/dairy. Eating area was clean and the staff was attentive. Rooms were spacious. One negative was that our room was by the elevator and the loud ding was annoying. The door didn't muffle much of the talking in the hallway either.

We got to the hotel around 9am and were still able to get the parking pass and park the car then head to Disneyland. We came back late to actually check in and they had our room key ready. Bed was comfortable and shower pressure was good.

They accommodated us so well. My husband and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary and the staff did an amazing job with the decorations, gift and overall kindness. Would highly recommend as a place to stay when visiting disneyland.

Not shuttle vehicles/transportation to go around besides Disneyland. Limited place to eat. No other good restaurants that your guests can go to to rSt for lunch or dinner.

Jordan and everyone else at the front desk was very professional and helpful. Our stay was to go to Disneyland and we had no idea how to use the public transportation and they were very helpful and knowledgeable. They walked us through the process to make it easy for us.

À very good hotel to stay for Disney. It takes 12min to walk to Disney dt and another 10min to Disneyland. You can take the monorail from where dt starts so it pretty decent in terms of location. There’s not much around close by if you crave something to eat other than the near gas station store and pizza place next to it. I didn’t try them. The pool is very small, but kids might enjoy it, plus a hot whirlpool that is very decent. Staff was super nice. Breakfast was great. Room and hotel were clean. Will def choose this place again

Excellent stay! Great for families heading to Disneyland. 15-20 minute walk, delicious breakfast with many food options which made it so easy and convenient to start a long busy day. Staff was super polite and helpful, pool was perfect and the room/lobby/breakfast area was so clean and well maintained by service staff. Would recommend to anyone staying for Disneyland or otherwise!

Walking distance to Disneyland shuttles, but not to any food options. This wasn't a problem for us as we were in the parks all day but if you don't have a car and need dining options, you'll likely have to Uber eats or doordash food.

This was a great hotel and close proximity to Disneyland. It was only a 15 minute walk to Downtown Disney.

Property is remodeled and very close to Disneyland. The property itself is nice, rooms are clean and spacious. However, from checkin through needing something at the front desk early the next morning- and even check out- it was clear the staff was just going through the motions and going above and beyond or even just meeting expectations is hard for this group. For me, a property’s staff is the greatest asset. There are several other Marriott properties in the area that I’ve stayed at with amazing staff. I’d rather stay somewhere where service is first and foremost. Will I be back to this property? I’d probably choose somewhere else.

Perfectly located for a short walk to Disneyland and California Adventure Parks! Our room was not ready when we arrived and we were upgraded to a double queen room on the4th floor east side which provides a great view of the fireworks!

Loved it. Only problem was that one elevator was down at the time and we had a stroller, so we always had to wait quite awhile to get down. It would often be full, so we would have to wait for multiple times and eventually squish on.

We LOVE the free breakfast in the morning— lots to choose from and my kids & I were completely satisfied. The rooms are spacious and there were 5 of us. My son enjoyed having his own space on the couch bed. I’d definitely stay here again.

We were able to easily walk to Disneyland. It was .9 miles away. The walk was easy and safe. The hotel was comfortable and we loves the layout of the room. Breakfast was good but would have liked a few more options.

The hotel really went above and beyond, and began a local drive to accept donations of clothes, toiletries and food for victims of the fire. They also worked with me to extend my reservation and allowed me to stay in the same room. I will forever have a positive opinion of SpringHill Suites because of this experience, and would highly recommend this hotel to others.

You have to go down stairs for anything you needed because no one ever picked up the phone. Not the front desk, and there is no housekeeping

Nice and spacious for our family of six. We have two older kids, 18 and 16, and then a 8 and six year old which can make it hard to plan family vacations that everyone will enjoy. Disneyland is a perfect choice. This is our first time at the Springfield Maingate and the setup of the one bedroom suite was perfect for our family of six! Quick and cheap uber rides to and from the park averaged about $15-$20 total a day. Will definitely book again.

Breakfast was adequate with scrambled eggs and various accompaniment but in 3 days there, little variation. Biggest complaint is that they charge 30 dollars per day for parking which was not noted during reservations. Price therefore seems deceptively low in comparison with other nearby options. Would be better to include that in their booking detail.

Staff was professional and very sweet!!! Made sure our stay was above and beyond expectations! Jesse made sure we got there safe by helping with directions and got us checked in and out way to sleep as we had a late check in.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to Disney and it was exactly what I hoped! The location is near enough to walk or drive. The facility is very clean, easy to park. The accommodations were open and the room felt spacious.

We loved our stay here. The property was clean and the hallways smelled good. The hotel put effort in decorating the lobby with Halloween stuff, attention to detail is great. All the staff was courteous and kind. There's nothing to fault.

Lovely room with comfortable beds. Outdoor pool was perfect temperature and hot tub was super relaxing. Breakfast was pretty good and coffee. Only downside was the room was not child friendly for a nrar disney hotel. Sliding bathroom door catches child fingers and the walk in shower door drips water all over the floor so a major slip hazard. Minus those two problems and the high parking fee, the hotel is a great location to walk to disneyland.
