The hotel's location near Disneyland is its most praised feature, with many guests finding it convenient for their visits. However, the hotel's cleanliness and maintenance are major concerns, with numerous complaints about dirty rooms, stained linens, and outdated facilities. The staff's friendliness is appreciated, but their responsiveness to issues varies.

The rooms are what you paid for at a low staying fee when compared to near by hotels. Despite the outdated room and furniture, the room and property was clean. I guess if I had to say what I like, I say the low cost of the stay in comparison to other near by hotels. The rooms were a bit to outdated. The beds were not comfortable as the mattress definitely could use an update as well as the sheets. The Tv had almost no service. Like I said it was an inexpensive stay. I can't really complain, considering one gets what we pay for.

Free parking, free continental, no incidentally hold, microwave , fridge and coffee maker in the room. Budget friendly. Long walk when tired but convenient distance. Tried to call office and no answer, went to ask a question in the morning but nobody came fast enough so I left. When they were around they were nice.

Close to Disneyland and the room was clean. There was a fridge in the room and a coffee maker. The building is older and there were some areas like the stairway that needed to be cleaned and painted. There was some peeling paint inside the room as well. The overall feel of the hotel was a bit shoddy. The shuttle mentioned in the hotel info was actually the city shuttle, not one that the hotel provides, which seemed like a bait and switch.

The only positive thing to say about this property was that it offered free parking. It is not safe for children, the rail on the second floor has termite damage and could possibly fall over easily. The water pressure was so low we had to keep continuously unplugging our own toilet. They also need to spray for pest because I killed a 1.5 inch water bug that scared me in the bathroom

Room was dark and gloomy. Dresser was all nicked up with stains on top. Smaller tv sits on top of the dresser. Your cloths hang on the wall with a rack. Thank goodness because i wasn't going to put my cloths in the drawer in the dresser. Sink and mirror is in the bedroom. Light over sink sometimes came on then off then on etc. The light in the bathroom flashed on and off. My bath towel had a worn-out whole in it. Right infront of the sink where you stand to use the sink there is a whole in the carpet that has been glued or burned to hold it from unraveling. The hole i think is about 4 inches long by around 1 inch wide you can see the padded on the sides. Asked if they had an iron. Which they gave me. However it never got hot. I will never stay here again. I do not recommend this hotel at all !!!!!!!

The 2 queens in one room and the other deluxe one had 2 queens in main room and 1 queen in a private room. The bed wasn’t one level - it slumped; the curtain sheer had 2 long tears as if cats had clawed their way down them. One room smelled of smoke. Cribs were reserved on the initial reservation and the front desk said they had no cribs - we needed one for each room but made due.

Once I got there my only draw was the price - the description on Bookings is very misleading. The basic breakfast offerings were ok but practically mini brand sizes. Decent mini mart across the street Staff were friendly but apologetic about the deplorable conditions. It was a big disappointment - the location is RIGHT on a busy intersection not even close to Disneyland’s main entrance. You had to walk over 1-5 overpasses TWICE to get there! We took an Uber there/back for about $9 a ride. Parking lot spaces are tight The room was thrashed. A picture was missing from wall, Very old and beat up furniture. bathroom door didn’t close properly, cockroach spotted near the refrigerator. Yes, I said a live roach! Everything just felt grimy. This place needs a major deep clean & upgrade. NO pool or hot tub. Also not once was housekeeping offered - we stayed 3 nights.

The room although good size, was very poorly maintained. The light was broken, the phone didn’t work, dirty and musty smell. The heat was very difficult to operate and the room was not heated upon arrival. Upon returning we discovered the room was not serviced. Went to the front desk and apparently we were expected to make our own beds and remove garbage. There was no hooks for towels after a shower. Location was advertised as less than a km from Disneyland. In reality that distance is to the parking garage and to get to the park it’s an additional km. Breakfast was extremely limited. Tiny orange juice of 40 ml, two kinds of cereal and a few muffins. Not enough to sustain a person. The second morning there was no juice or muffins available. Only coffee and cereal. Although I have stayed at many days inn before and have been satisfied with the quality, this one didn’t not meet the expectations of previous Days Inn quality and service that was expected.

The room might be clean, but it didn't feel that way. The mattresses, pillows, and blankets were so dated. The mattresses need to be changed. They are so used and discolored. The pillows were flat and yellowed. The blankets had holes in them. There was a think layer of dust and dirt in the AC vents. The paint was peeling badly in the bathroom. The large counter was nice to share as we got ready. The mini fridge was large for all our water bottles. It was just a place to sleep and shower, nothing special. I just wish they put more effort in cleaning the rooms and updating the furniture as needed.

The room itself was ok, but my daughter and I did not feel the safest as the extra lock at the top of the door was broken. So,we put a chair in front of the door so that we would hopefully hear if someone did try to come in. The more worrisome part was the fact that there was no smoke detector in the room. It was obviously removed and not replaced. I would assume that could be a big violation to not have a working smoke detector. There were just wires hanging down out of the ceiling where the detector should have been. Another problem was the light in the sink area. It did not come on until you wiggled it and turned it on and off a bunch. It would then flicker and come on part way, then when you wiggled it more it finally came on all the way. My husband said this was actually quite dangerous as it obviously had some bad/faulty wiring. Then lastly, a small thing was that one of the lamps by the bed had no light bulb in it.

I was told we just need to mention to front desk on day of leaving. On the morning of leaving i mentioned to front desk to call the taxi. He told us to just book uber its cheaper. We booked uber and the person accepted our ride but didnt show up we ended up asking front desk to call taxi instead as we are getting behind with the time for airport. Not what I was expecting. The bad: breakfast was oatmeal instant packets, rock hard old muffins and a box of milk/orange juice. No place to sit and eat, so you go back to room and warm up water for oatmeal in microwave. The internet is terrible (like amateur set up a Unifi network and forgot to maintain it). Don't plan on using Wifi, just plan on using your cell phone. Air conditioning is weak. The ugly: Keys stopped working randomly, had to go to office to get new ones. Kids were not happy after a long day going down to office and having them figure out what is going on and reprogramming keys. Another 30 minutes trying to get in room at end of a long day with tired kids is NOT fun. Overall, the place is a dump that nobody wants to put money into until Disney buys and demolishes the place. As long as you go into it with that attitude, you are fine.

But the property itself was dirty, bugs in the room, mold in the bathroom, the beds were incredibly hard so we all got poor sleep, and the light over the sink didnt work very well (sometimes you had to jiggle the switch). We arrived after 10, at 11p our neighbors showed up. I don't know how many people were in the room but kids were yelling and screaming, and the adults were yelling too. I looked outside a few times because they were so loud, I thought they were right outside our room. It was an hour before they settled down. Can't call down to the front desk because even though there's a phone, there's no direct connect. Don't believe the other reviews. The bed may be clean, but pay the extra $20-50 and sleep somewhere else.

I don’t leave negative reviews but I feel I have to. We arrived late at night and very quickly had to move rooms after finding what looked like bodily fluids all over the bed and floor. The next room wasn’t much better, if you took your shoes off, your socks and feet were instantly black. Everything was so SO dirty. We checked out the next morning after talking with the staff about the condition of the rooms and we were still charged an additional night to be able to check out. Very very displeased with the entire experience. Did not regret leaving at all. Donnot stay here! Save your money!

If like us you wanted somewhere cheap to stay nearish to Disneyland and you're planning on a 16 hour park day so you don't really care about the hotel, this is it. The free breakfast is packaged muffins, prepackaged cereal and boxed orange juice. The pool is actually next door's pool so you have to walk on the sidewalk to get to it. The rooms are ok and everything feels a little run down. You're a good mile from Downtown Disney, which in turn is a good 10 minute walk to the actual park entrances, so be ready for a half hour walk minimum before you even hit the parks.

The walk to Downtown Disneyland was about 15-20 minutes which was fine. The staff were polite and friendly. The inside of the rooms were old and dated. The room wasn’t the cleanest. Hair in the top of the faucet handle, crayon or marker drawings on the bathroom door. Bedspread seemed old and gross and who knows the last time those were washed. The inside shower curtain had a booger on it from previous guest. Carpets were stained. Not the cleanest hotel but I guess for the price you get what you pay for.

The rooms were more than adequate, the bathrooms were clean, the sheets and pillows were comfy, the location was just a short walk from the Disney parks, and they offered free parking every day and all day (even on the day we checked out). The “free breakfast” was just grab and go items on your way out the door, but that worked well for our purposes.

My family and I stayed for 3 nights furing our Disneyland trip. We really loved that the walk to the security checkpoint at Downtown Disney (near Disneyland monorail, Star Wars store) was only a 13 minute walk! You could also board the trams to get to the park as well. The hotel breakfast offerings were okay: instant oatmeal, cereal, coffee and individually wrapped mini muffins. Not bad, my kid's needs for a quick breakfast were met (we usually eat somewhere inside Disney), but it was expected considering how small the front desk area was. This property is older, but nonetheless, met our needs to get to Disney. Having a view from our room for the nightly fireworks was neat- loud, but neat! I would encourage the hotel to consider looking into their water heating system as we struggled 2/3 nights to get a hot shower. We'd also hope to see the room carpet get some TLC as well. Other than that, we were able to sleep decent, walk to Disney under 15 minutes, and heat up our food as needed.

It was a 15 min walk to the parks as stated, recommend taking an Uber or something back to hotel as walking at night is a little scary since nobody seemed to be walking that area at night. Cost us $6-$10 to Uber back. Room served its purpose, used just for sleeping.

I read through the reviews just like you're doing now, and let me reassure you that you get what you pay for. If you're here for the Disney parks, this is within walking distance for sure. It is difficult to leave the parking lot because of the location, but we didn't have any problems during the days we stayed. It was a quiet stay (Sunday thru Wednesday night), our car was safe, and nothing bad happened. The only, *only* things I didn't like were that the light above the sink would only turn on about once every 10 times I flipped the switch, the fitted sheet would not stay on the bed, the bed seemed to have a high point in the middle and sloped downwards from there so we were both constantly readjusting, and I found a dead cockroach on the table. I saw no evidence of other cockroaches, no hint of bedbugs, and overall it was clean otherwise (and honestly I saw roaches at Disneyland, so...) Also, you'll see the fireworks from the balcony, pretty cool. 9:38 every night, don't even try to sleep through it.

This was a last minute trip to Disneyland. The location is in walking distance to the parks. The hotel staff was friendly and check-in was a breeze. We arrive two hours early and were able to check-in. This hotel is older but it was clean. Everything worked (tv, hair dryer, fridge). The beds were comfortable and clean. Carpet clean. The bathroom had plenty of hot water for the four of us. You can hear the fireworks at night and some traffic as it's off the highway but for us not a problem, not sensitive sleepers. The area is well lit and felt safe. This was the second time we've stayed here for the excellent price. We only need the room to sleep as we are at the Disneyland parks all day. Perfect for the cost.

I was shocked at how run down the whole hotel was. My blow-dryer didn't even blow hot air. Cracks in the shower wall and holes in the bedding, and I went barefoot in the room post-shower, and my feet blackened on the bottom of them from the carpet. If relying on lyfts or ubers they all struggled with turning into the hotel and several canceled the ride to pick me up

    1. Upon registration I was told that I needed to tell housekeeping that we needed service. The next day I told the lady outside of my room and she ok. We came back late and it was not clean. 2. I spoke to management the next day and was advised they don’t off housekeeping at all. I needed to request towels. 3. Parking is a mess. If you don’t drive a compact car good luck. 4. Now let’s get to the room. Nasty nasty nasty. The carpet is green and dirt color. All the appliances include TV are out dated. Constant banging and clicking coming from who knows where. 5. Sink has minimal water pressure We will never stay here again. Would rather sleep in my car. Not sure how Disney would allow a motel to benefit from dlr with such low quality.

There were cobwebs in the corners and multiple spiders hung out with us. We had humongous roaches in the room too. We were in the room for three nights and saw twice as many critters. The floors were so dirty we didn’t feel comfortable walking barefoot on them. The bed had the thinnest blankets I’ve ever used and I was cold every night and had to wear multiple layers. We thought ehh we will barely be in there, cheap is fine. If you’re okay with bugs and dirt and cold, then yeah this is a budget room with a bed and shower that has a lock on it.

The rooms/beds are not the fanciest but you get your money’s worth. I think every room here is a bit different, this time one of the beds was very worn. Each room has a TV, microwave, and mini fridge which isn’t always a given even in fancy hotels so I love that about this spot too. The staff was very kind and friendly. Check in and check out was super easy. The hotel itself seemed a little outdated. The A/C units from the top floors were dripping off the walkways onto the ground floor. The bed hurt my back a little and the pillows were small. The shower head was fairly low for me and the toilet was tiny. If there are fireworks in the area you will get zero sleep as it sounds like someone hitting a dumpster with a sledgehammer (very thin walls). Ideal for a last minute single night stay, but don't recommend multiple nights.

Room wasn’t worth price for its proximity to Disneyland. The shower head was too low, I’m 6 feet tall and it was hitting the middle of my chest. The beds didn’t have a fitted sheet on them so the sheet they had on them slid off during the night and we were sleeping directly on the mattress. When I told the front desk guy, he seemed unpaused. Won’t be staying here again.

Sheets and pillowcase were quite stained, and had other people's hair on them. The online check-in was pointless, as it saved no time at the desk on arrival. The clerk checking me in didn't talk to me at all until he explained how to get to my room, and details on breakfast. Breakfast was delayed out first morning which set us back, but the options were great for being included in the price. Mattresses were very firm and my husband enjoyed it, but I prefer a softer surface. The location was great, and we walked to Disneyland everyday and took maybe 10 minutes to get to security, depending on the 2 traffic lights. Parking at Days Inn was great! Both covered and open parking. We had requested a ground floor room before checking in or a room next to the elevator, but neither request was accepted, despite (based on the parking lot when we checked in) there were maybe 3 other rooms occupied for the whole property. No housekeeping during our stay, which we were told about, but not sure if it's because of only staying 3 nights, or if that's their current policy. It was quiet except for fireworks at 9:30pm, but that's to be expected given how close it is to the park. But we didn't expect our beds to shake! Hahaha Overall it fell below expectations, but for a place to sleep, we managed.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and have not had any problems. This was my first time experiencing anything bad at this establishment. First things first, I was woken up out of my sleep because there were bugs on the pillows. Bugs that looked like large bed bugs or ticks. The Hotel immediately moved us to another room. In the next room, there was a giant dead roach in the light fixture that was very visible. So we got relocated a second time. The last room was fine. The hotel was also nice enough to make accomodations after everything that happened. Again, I've never had any problems with this hotel in the past but needless to say, we probably won't be returning to this hotel.

Other than being close to the park, this hotel was less than sub-par. Our floors were FILTHY, leaving our feet BLACK. We never saw housekeeping, and our rooms were grimy and disgusting. The bathroom vent in one of our rooms was full of layers of dust. The other room had no vent at all, leaving the room extra muggy. The rooms were both muggy and had poor ventilation, leaving everything sticky and moist. The beds were also hard and uncomfortable. Upon checkin, the credenzas and countertops were dirty and sticky, and there were pieces of garbage and broken crayons on the floor... there were piles of dust in every corner. Our curtains were also shredded.. Breakfast was only pre-packaged muffins and boxed cereal. Parking was also not suitable for large SUVs or vans like we were told. Good thing we spent most of our time in the parks, but we definitely don't plan on staying here again. At least the elevator worked.. Also, site won't let me upload photos of hotel room in my review..

First property is unclean with trash in parking, elevator had graffiti in side, difficult to get into the parking and small to turn around. If you have a full side truck forget it! Next the room door had a hole in it where the deadbolt lock was once located. After you entered it had a strong smell of mildew from the portable AC unit, the carpet was stained, the baseboards were off the wall near the door. In order lock the door you had to pull up and toward you to secure and allow the door to lock. Othwise you could push the door and it open freely. The bed has no protective mattress just a cheap sheet tucked in for the bottom. I used my own blanket to sleep on since the mattress was not clean. The bathroom was a whole other story as well as the joining room. So no I will never stay at a days in again.

I would say that this hotel is exactly what you would expect it to be for the price. It's pretty run down and only mostly clean (everything but the carpet), but you can't beat the distance to Disney. It was perfect for our purposes, a quick sleep in between two crazy Disney days. We missed the breakfast, but I doubt it was anything spectacular. This is not the Drake Hotel. My biggest complaint is that we couldn't figure out how to get from the parking structure shuttles to the hotel. I tried to call but no one answered. We ended up walking through some cast-members-only places, but it was fine. In the morning the receptionist pointed us in the right direction and it was a quick (uphill) walk back to the shuttle.
