Buena Vista Inn

Room was not clean at all, bathroom handle was broken, sink was not draining, bath tub was peeling, plugs by sink not working, ac was loud.

The dude in the office was actually cool I asked him about early check inn fee he said 20 the next day he returned it

I booked 2 nights at Buena Vista Inn for just my son and i. We planed a trip to the Disney parks. We were given a room on the first floor that had cockroaches, the towels were dirty from the previous occupants. The front door wouldn’t close properly and light would still come in from the door crack. At night we were able to fully hear both our neighbors conversations and sexual activities. The bed mattress was super uncomfortable and all the furniture was dirty. When bringing this up to the front lobby I was ignored along with the house keeping stuff. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend this please! I will not be returning. Parking is very tight as well.

2 nights stay with. 1. Very rude staff 2. No room cleaning after my first night 3. Old and dirty room AC/Heater 4. Ice machine room was closed at least half hour before 11pm as posted on the door. 5. There was no coffee machine in the room 6. As the room was not clean by 4pm, I had to ask for a new bath towel, it took them almost 2 hours to get me a couple as they were being washed I will never come back or recommend it to anyone.

Easy in and out process

The only perk for this facility was the close proximity to my destination Roaches in the shower, nasty mattress and box spring ( cleanliness). Door to bathroom broken in half.

A poorly maintained hotel and staff

Nice location for the theme parks. Beds were comfortable and clean. Ceiling in room was horribly stained and property was what you'd expect for a budget hotel. It suited our purposes though and was really reasonably priced.

Upon entering the room, and there was a very strong, musty smell. The air conditioner looked extremely old, but worked very well. Walking into the unit, we found a soda can filled with ashes and the smoked cigarette on the ground. Two power outlets did not work, the phone did not work, and one light did not work. The shower was difficult to use as the curtain rod was literally falling off the wall. The toilet seat looked extremely old and worn. The faucet handle was extremely loose. We were able to check in a little early and when doing so we basically just dropped off our bags and head out shortly after. Upon returning to the room later that evening, and noticing all these issues with the room, we brought it to the attention of the front desk, and they immediately blamed us for breaking everything. The service and respect we got from them was awful. Initially we asked for a new room, but after thinking about it, and realizing the hate that we were getting from the front desk, we decided to just stay in our room and figure things out despite everything was not up to par.

This motel was excellent. The staff members were friendly. The room I stayed in was clean and looked new, minus the smoke detector that was unattached to the wall and the cables were shown.

the beds are bricks, the loud road with many many TRUCKERS is insane and the amount of people awake at 12am in this hotel running around, kids crying and thumping upstairs... wooof. worst sleep of my life.

Im not sure why this place has 10/10 when it is not 10/10. The room were okay, in the shower there was a silver fish bug. You literally get what you paid for. I gave 5 stars for the staff because I didn't talk to them but the location what so ghetto and bad I thought I was going to get robbed or my car broken into. There were homeless looking people walking around and circling on bikes. It also says no smoking but people were smoking outside of their rooms and one person had the devils lettuce. I will never go here again

Amenities were almost nonexistent. Only two bath towels and a small wash towel were provided. There were no paper towels and no Kleenex tissues—bare minimum for any accommodation. The noise made the stay even worse. The AC unit was extremely loud, and the bathroom fan sounded like a motor running. To make matters worse, the fan in the neighboring room ran continuously through the wall all night. The constant noise made it impossible to sleep. If you care about cleanliness, basic amenities, or getting a good night’s sleep, avoid staying here.

This was the most disgusting place I've ever been in and i will be pursuing a refund. We were in the room for about 90 min when we left. The room stunk and urine. The carpeting was SQUISHY where the most urine smelled. The door did not latch or lick correctly and you could just jiggle the door and it looked like it would fall off work little effort. The bedding stunk so bad . I do not understand how a place like this is allowed to operate. We were given room 304. There are no words.

Everything was neglected, bed was flat, pillows where had there days, elevator barely worked and homeless were all over the place and was uncomfortable. We’ll not stay there again.

The manager had called my husband while I was at work and complained that my kids who won that is disabled. Who’s being too loud and they were fighting mind you my kids are three and four years old I had booked one more night as well in a four night time span and they had told me that I had to leave in the morning at 11 AM to check out and then check back in at 3 PM which is a way for them to scam you out of a deposit and then he ended up telling me that I could stay one more night but I have to leave tomorrow and they have the family room rooms at the third floor, which I already told them that I need a bottom floor, but they didn’t have that available so I let him know my son is disabled ahead of time And he has bad emotional stemming issues and he stil made it a big problem sayin at 5 pm my son was too loud at a family room on the 3rd floor complete scam

This place was clean, had a comfortable bed, gave comfortable pillows. One of my favorite room setups with the king size bed & has a separate little area with a small couch. I appreciated the friendly staff, we had to request two accommodations & they were super nice & informative about it. Honestly will be staying here any time I need a place in the area. Can’t beat the price & the quality of the room.

To begin with it said the room was smoke free, the first thing I got entering the room was a stron cigarette smell. The bed blanket was horrible, it was dirty and smelled nasty. I didn't even want to touch it. The people in the rooms next door were fighting and throwing stuff to the walls all night. The AC unit did not work, I turned it on and it started to smell like burnt and it made a horrible noise. I would not recommend staying here at all, not even for an emergency. Your better off sleeping in your car.

They put my family in room 306, and the room smells of chemical cleaning. This room does not have a chair to sit on to use the computer, so I have to sit on the bed. The room does not have any hangers, so we can't hang our clothes. The drawer's broken, and I find it hard to use. It is less than the motel chain in value.

The rooms were filthy. When I asked for the room to be cleaned I was given a different room but the microwave was unusable due to be dirty. One of the reasons I picked this place was for the microwave since I planned on being there for a week. They collected a $50 cash deposit but would not give me a receipt. They also never came to clean or replace towels the whole week. When arriving at 12:10 am one evening I asked for new towels and the front desk told me they stop giving towels after midnight. (None of this was told before)when I asked how I can get towels he told me it wasn’t his problem. There was a homeless gentleman who was sleeping outside more door one night and then the next day in the elevator. When I left this morning, I had to ring the bell for over 10 min to get the worker to wake up and give me my $50 deposit back. The level of unprofessionalism and how dirty this location is disgusting. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. DO NOT STAT HERE!!

Horrible customer service after finding BEDBUGS in our beds, refused a refund, refused to give me a different room, and wanted me to stay in the same bed because all of their rooms already had “reservations”. They told me to talk to the manager the following day and they called me a liar and told me there wasn’t anything there even after seeing all of the pictures and videos I took of the beds because they refused to go to the room to check the beds themselves.

The place was great, great service, great location, close to Knotts, the room was large the exterior could use a little tlc, the interior was good, the olny thing was that the couch was broken but we didn't use it oe needed it.

It was ok, quiet. Nothing over the top. A/C was good and cold, no shower towels in room and service was there but no smiles management looked angry or bothered. Again stay was ok nothing over the top, it was quiet and close to everything but just a friendly tip....Smile.

The hotel was decent but there was multiple times we were woken up by knocking on our door and when we changed there was nobody there

no towels in our room and when we asked for some got handed some out of a pile then they said that the laundry was not in service. not a single outlet worked in our room, fridge wasn’t working either.

Our stay was not bad at all. Check-in & Out was fairly easy. The room was not as bad as others make it out to be. I actually had a great stay.

Stayed here for 4 days thinking it was the best option for the price after looking at reviews. I will say I was surprised to see the room clean, no bugs at all, and I did feel safe in the area. However the other people staying there scream a lot, there is a few weird characters up all night walking around. The bed is very uncomfortable, pillows suck, walls paper thin, sheets where super thin most uncomfortable part about sleeping. I would say for the price it was worth it and would consider going back.

The room was damp and had an unpleasant odor, with the pillows appearing quite dirty. The carpet was wet in several areas, some parts completely soaked. Outside, there were two individuals engaged in prostitution. I decided to grab my children's belongings and leave; it was the final straw for me.

The room was very dirty, there was mold/mildew on the bathroom ceilings, door latch was broken, phone didn’t work, carpet was filthy! This is supposed to be a no pet hotel but we saw several people with pets , our room had a cat toy in it, I came home with flea bites all over my arms and legs. The man who works at the front tries to get in our room and was yelling “open the door right now” very unpleasant stay, will not be staying here again.

I didn't like or appreciate how rude and difficult the staff was. She made it seem like doing anything was an impossible task. Checking in was a nightmare. She was incredibly rude, I had to ask her to repeat herself multiple times and she just got increasingly frustrated with me. Not very friendly

The rooms were adequate, but during our one-week stay, we did not receive any housekeeping services. Each day, I had to visit the office to request toiletries. The staff was unfriendly, and the front office door was always closed, requiring us to communicate through a window for any needs. Due to the lack of housekeeping, I placed our trash bins outside, hoping they would be emptied and replaced with new bags, but this did not happen until a day later. There was no clear policy on the absence of daily housekeeping, but basic cleaning is essential. The cost of the stay was quite high, and I cannot say it was worth the price.

Overall, our stay was pretty good. The room a/c unit was old, but worked great! It cooled down the room quickly & kept it cool all night. The room was overall clean, but they could use a good deep cleaning of the carpets &a/c units to improve their quality. The outside facility needed attention because there are no trash bins outside, &much of the floor & walls were stained & sticky. There was trash & cigarettes left in front of no-smoking rooms, &trash scattered in the parking lot. They had a great water heater, keeping water temperatures perfect when showering. The bed was very comfortable, not too soft and not too firm. Most of the guests were respectful & quiet, which was so lovely. The location is good; just a short drive (or a brisk 15-30min walk) to Knott's Berry Farm & restaurants. The hotel staff was OK. They don't notify you that the lobby is closed 24/7, so you don't have a safe indoor space to wait for a ride-share or to wait to check in. They only use their night window, and they let their kids run around the lobby all day. The lady who checked us in ignored us when we approached the locked front door, & was extremely rude when checking us in; she would not give us her name & walked away & ignored us more when we tried to ask where the ice machine was. However, the other staff members were polite & helpful during the rest of our stay. Parking is extremely limited and the elevator needs maintenance. 3/5 stars.

This was a great area because it is close to many places. The room was clean, but the top lock was broken.

Also, on pillows there were long black hairs found along with long black hairs on the very cheap and small bath towels provided.

It was clean and quiet. I would definitely stay there again.

At check in the guy wanted $50.00 cash only deposit which we were not aware of. Not kept up at all..the toilet and bed had hair. Im talking like wasnt cleaned at all. It was so gross. Non refundabled so I cleaned it myself. At check out the woman was in pajamas. Would never stay here again.

Room smelt like smoke from cigarettes, hairdryer burnt after turning it on, fights at late night in the property, one day we arrived very late and the card to open the room wasn’t working. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

The drawers inside the room were all broken. The microwave door was scratched up. The hair dryer cord was damaged and you could see the entire circuit.

I didn’t like how there not being enough parking spots gotta park in another place to stay. The staff is excellent

At first glance the room seemed ok. I stayed for 4 days and my breathing seemed different. After the 3rd day the bed sheet moved up from one side of the bed. When I went to adjust it I noticed mold right on the side I was sleeping. It made me physically sick as the sight of it made me throw up. It is beyond disgusting and gross. After seeing that I realized that these people do not care about cleanliness whatsoever. I’m actually a little concerned about my health because I have already checked out and my breathing is still a little strange. I also felt like bug bites with raised skin. On the last night I laid out a large blanket I keep with me and slept on top of that. I would not stay here for free!!

I will start with i will never stay at this hotel again. Staff had no costumer service. Person at the front was rude and did not even open the office. We got there a few minutes befo r e check in. The office was closed and had to use the side window for night arrivals. Once in the room we found the toilet seat cracked. Again I will never go there again.

They are old, loud, and leak water into the pathway - potential slip hazard. The building needs to be repainted. The parking lot needs to be reslurried.

An amazing experience

Basic motel accommodations. However, had a strong odor of marijuana, there was police activity, and very thin walls.

We were going to check in late, so I tried to call the hotel. The phone rang and rang and no one ever picked up. I then messaged them and never got a response. Things went smoothly when we did check in at 10:30pm. However, they only gave us one key that worked, there was yelling in the room next to us until midnight, and my husband saw a man smoking a joint on the second floor landing. Overall, we decided we wouldn’t stay here again.

Smelled like an abandoned old folks home and while I was trying to deal with the smell I look down to see a toenail in the room I just checked into and threw up instantly.
