Reviews
The hotel's proximity to Disneyland is a significant advantage, with many guests appreciating the short walking distance. However, the rooms are frequently described as outdated and in need of refurbishment. The staff is generally praised for their friendliness and helpfulness.
- Walking distance to Disneyland
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Rooms are outdated and need refurbishment
- Cleanliness and maintenance issues
- 5/5
Staff is amazing. Hotel is maintained clean and neat. Will definitely make future check in’s here at Portofino!!! Thank you!
- 5/5
Check in was great with no issues. Rooms were clean. Having a small fridge in the room was a bonus. The water pressure was good and the water was always hot. I would stay here again as it is a reasonable walking distance to the Disney gates.
- 3/5
staff very helpful hotel had bad smell rooms were clean and close to disneyland
- 3/5
Location saves the hotel otherwise not really worth the price,
- 5/5
We checked in Thursday night and really appreciated the front desk supervisor, Jesus, for his great customer service. He helped accommodate our family to have rooms nearby each other.
- 2/5
The room smelled DISGUSTING!!!! The walls in the restroom were moldy, the kids area with the bunk beds, the privacy curtains for the kids room were broken. The tv remotes didn’t work. The pull out mattress was PAINFUL to sleep on. 1/10 experience, NEVER AGAIN
- 5/5
We had a family suite that was great with our kids. Everyone had their own bed. The hotel is a little older but very clean. The pool is a great place to relax after a long day at the park. We walked to the park every day. About a 10 minute walk. Very convenient location. Will definitely stay here for future visits
- 2/5
Rooms are very outdated, bed you could feel the springs. Bathroom mirror was dirty.
- 4/5
The TV's didn't always work right and the floors were REALLY dirty. I spilled some water and when I cleaned it up, the towel was a very gross brown color. The mini fridge cause some of my cans to explode and no matter how I positioned the shower curtain, water got everywhere. I wouldn't be surprise if our particular room had mold. (2318) All in all, it was really great. I would tell my friends that it's a good choice if they're going to visit Disney and mostly sleep in the room.
- 2/5
Parking is really bad. Not enough parking on property
- 5/5
Safe CVS right next door that has everything and anything you need
- 4/5
Staff was helpful. A bit pricey but the room accommodated my family
- 5/5
Good proximity to Disneyland. Clean and spacious rooms. Would stay again.
- 3/5
Mr room was dirty. Was not happy with the room.
- 3/5
Everything was great, I just feel that this place could use some renovations. It’s very dated and the decor and such is run down. The location is great for a Disney trip and the family suite was big enough for our family which was awesome. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable m, and the sheets and towels are really rough. Other than that I really enjoyed our stay.
- 3/5
The hotel was budget friendly and served us well. The rooms were clean but not meticulous. I found some hairs near the toilet floor when we first entered the room, so it wasn’t cleaned throughly. The hotel is older and the hallways had a weird smell. But it had a nice pool, a work out room and the bed was okay. It was close to Disneyland like a 10 minute walk.
- 3/5
Property needs some upgrades. Water pressure very low. It was very antiquated.
- 4/5
We did have a problem with the sofa sleeper that the staff corrected as soon as we brought it to their attention. Take a fan! The layout of the family room REQUIRED it and the hotel did not have another fan when the A/C wasn't as cool as we wanted. They did make an adjustment to our account for the inconvenience. Overall, it was okay. We will pay more attention to the 'stars' moving forward. It is a doable walk to the parks, even with younger kids.
- 3/5
Decent place to stay.
- 3/5
Stores close by for the things you forgot to pack. But when I go take a shower first thing in the morning there was no shower curtain! Not gonna call front desk and wait because I wanted to get to park to rope drop. So yes water splashed all over the floor as I showed.
- 5/5
Rooms clean, door knob was broken to separate rooms, room phone would just hang up and not work. No wash cloths in bathroom, no breakfast available. But other than that super close to Disneyland.
- 5/5
Thank you
- 3/5
Old and outdated, the room smelled like cigarettes
- 5/5
Property was clean, and walking distance to the disney park.
- 3/5
Older hotel with a particular smell. Locked doors are not secure with people without room keys able to get inside. Wall paper and carpet are old. Electrical outlets did not work half the time and light would flicker or dim randomly
- 5/5
Close to Disney Park. Very hot water. Awesome body wash, shampoo dispenser. You now have to pay to park on property
- 3/5
Overall 3 out of 5. Not horrible, but for the price, was expecting more up to date, room was looking a little outdated. First time staying there, parking definitely thumbs down, very little and compact. Best part was location of walking distance to disneyland, 5 out of 5, walking distance was the selling point. Good experience first time stay.
- 2.5/5
I liked how close it is to cvs and 711. Rooms are dirty, Very worn down and the sheets were ripped. Walls need repainting, rooms weren’t even cleaned properly. Also when I booked this place booking.com stated. “Free parking” that was a complete lie. They charge 30 bucks per day. And lastly the elevator next to the lobby needs to be reprogrammed we stayed on the 3rd floor and the elevator would get stuck going back and forth from the second and third floor.
- 4/5
Great parking and nice staff
- 5/5
Location from Disneyland was great
- 4/5
Great location! I was under the impression that parking was free
- 2.5/5
I liked the location. The actual bed was comfortable and the AC worked great. If you don’t book a family room you do NOT get a microwave. You have to go to the lobby to use the hotel microwave. Also the hotel had a weird poop like smell and weird fruit like flies inside my hotel room.
- 3.5/5
I specifically booked this hotel because it said parking was free. But when I got to the hotel, apparently they had just changed their mind and now charge $30 a night! That’s kind of steep and I also would have appreciated a heads up like an email or some form of communication. Not after a 5 hour drive. The room was OK. The walls were kinda dirty, the pillows sucked, and it took awhile for the a/c to go down even a couple of degrees. I would probably stay again (as long as there are no more surprises) but the rooms need a little bit of extra attention and something like adding additional costs should be mentioned prior to the stay.
- 4/5
Within walking distance of downtown Disney and Disneyland
- 5/5
The hotel looked a little run down. Construction in the parking lot. Room was older but cute.
- 1/5
The staff was sweet. The room had multiple broken things and many issues. The blow dryer didnt work and I tried plugging it into different outlets, the phone didnt work when I needed to call the front deak because the shampoo, conditioner and body soap were completely empty AND the shower was dirty and had dirty floors. The lamp that had a USB port, was had multiple stains and the USB didnt work. The light switch wouldn't turn on the light. Ive stayed here multiple times and never been so disappointed.
- 4.5/5
Walking distance to Disneyland!
- 4/5
The space was good i feel it has to be more cleaning like room service.
- 4/5
Walking distance to the theme park also the gift store is the best not to sure if that involves you guys Wasn’t a big dislike just wish it was a little bit dated
- 4/5
Hospitality was great and very helpful! Walking distance was perfect. Definitely would recommend families to stay here for your Disney trip!
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Very friendly atmosphere! Close to the parks. Clean! We stayed 4 nights and didn’t have one problem! Parking kinda crazy but overall! We’d stay here every time now!
- 5/5
Close to Disney and very affordable The beds are cheap but did the trick. Old and run down but we were hardly there so no big deal
- 1.5/5
The only thing I liked about the property was the location. We have stayed there many times and have had good experiences. I don’t know if you Management changed but our experience this time around was horrible. You stayed there for three days and I told him that I wanted to clean towels every day and trash picked up and we had neither I had to call every day to get any type of service. The telephones did not work we DoorDash food and had to keep calling me down to the lobby off our personal phones. The tubs were not working properly. We couldn’t take the kids a bath because none of the plugs worked in the showers. And overall the room was dirty. I had to use disinfectant wipes to wipe things down.
- 5/5
I traveled on my moto and they had a special covered motorcycle parking spot for me. This is outstanding. They also held my luggage for me after I checked out so I could go into Disneyland that morning/afternoon. The staff on this my 3rd visit to the Portofino was once again next level friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
The location was good. But the rooms are a little outdated. The lobby looks modern looks recently renovated then you get to the room and it’s like oh lol. The major plus was that you only have to pay $15 to keep your vehicle parked in property after checking out. The bathroom in the family suit wasn’t the cleanest. There was a bunk bed in the suit and it was dirty around the railings.
- 2/5
It’s our first time staying there and I did not expect this place to be as run down as it was. Stark contrast to what the photos show of the property. The bathroom needs major updating. Cracked, missing and dirty grout in the shower, dirty wallpaper in the bathroom. There is no ventilation in the bathroom, towel holder ring kept falling off, blow dryer was broken, carpet was filthy. The mattresses were super stiff. The hallway on the second floor smelled like sewage mixed with a strong air freshener trying to mask the stench. The upstairs guests were making so much noise in the middle of the night and you could hear every footstep. I was just happy our stay there was over. Needless to say I won’t be staying there again.
- 3/5
N/A The AC was finicky, there were bugs on the wall, the bathroom wasn’t fully clean, and there were people knocking continuously on our door throughout the night, we called the front desk, and they just apologized but did nothing to stop the problem because there were still people knocking on our door throughout the night.
- 5/5
The closeness to Disney and the room Whe stayed was big The parking you need more handicap parkings and the elevator took to long
- 2.5/5
Close to event center Elevator was broken most days and being on top floors meant stairs in the heat and a lot of people on them Doors into hotel don’t lock and we’re broken. Don’t feel secure. Hotel had a wierd smell, and the staff charged us 3x for a few we turned in.
- 4/5
The plugs for our USB cubes are not getting connections well enough because of the dated plugs.
- 4/5
Great location for walking to Disneyland. Having the doors to separate the rooms was wonderful with a 16 year old to allow for some privacy and good sleep. Parking was $15 for the day we checked out and good until midnight, so did not have yo worry about moving the car and paying Disney prices. Good hotel for a place to sleep when going to the park,
- 4/5
It’s pretty good, I keep coming back. It’s really if Okay good was a hotel
- 4/5
.
- 5/5
Loved the size of the room & the location!
- 3/5
Close to Disney and great deal! We had to ask for more things even though they knew the amount of people staying, there was never enough towels, and we had to take down our trash. Not a huge deal it just isn’t something I wanted to worry about on vacation.
- 4/5
I really enjoyed the location as it was close to the convention center. I didnt like that there wasnt any complimentary breakfast as I previously stayed at a hotel right next to Potofino suites for cheaper rates and great breakfast. I dont like that I still haven’t received my security deposit of 99 dollars that I had to place. There was also a water bug that flew down from the ceiling.
- 1/5
The room was dirty, they did not mention the extra $40 charge you had to pay daily for parking on the listing, and every night we could not sleep because we could hear the kids the floor above us running everywhere. We reported it but the staff did nothing. Also the pictures do not match what’s on the listing, and the pool is terribly small.
- 5/5
Great location with easy access to Disneyland. The room was nice and quiet. Very happy we stayed here.
- 5/5
Clean rooms the pool and hot tub the parking was awesome and the staff was super friendly
- 3/5
Second time staying at this hotel for my Disney trip. Hotel staff was helpful, the property itself has definitely seen its better days. The room itself was “clean”, but had an older vibe. My only complaint is the shower, it was not cleaned that well. There was a lot of female / long hair bunched up in the corner. If you’re looking for a clean place to stay for the night. This will work. But the price is quite high for the value you get.
- 4/5
All good nice shop with good prices down stairs
- 3/5
This hotel was overall a decent place to stay. Staff was nice and the location was perfect. However the beds were uncomfortable and the cleanliness of the rooms was not great. we stayed in the family suit but my parents stayed in the queen suit and they said their beds were much more comfortable than ours was. Overall for the price, location and size of the room I would give this hotel a solid 3.5 stars.
- 4/5
Very outdated with mold in bathroom. Friendly staff!
- 3/5
The hotel has a scent throughout that smelled like bad perfume. It was in the lobby, my floor, and the room. I personally did not care for it.
- 2/5
Hotel needs some maintenance, room was a little dusty, needs a refresh I had stay at this hotel in the past couple times before but this time I was disappointed at the time I open the room door smell like the restroom
- 1/5
When entering the property, the lobby is very dirty and stained up. It smelled horrible. There’s a horrible smell throughout the whole entire hotel. The dresser drawer knobs cut my son open. They are very sharp. The bathroom tub did not drain overall very dirty and stinky. The AC does does not work very well did not get cool. Slept without blankets the entire trip. would not recommend. Parking is also super inconvenient way out of the way. Something was up with the towels the towels would not dry hung them overnight something‘s up with those towels.
- 4/5
If you’re just looking for a place to sleep on your Disney trip then this is a good option for the price and proximity. While there are closer hotels, this one doesn’t price gouge for the location. It took us ten minutes to walk to Disneyland. The room itself was dated, the bathrooms definitely need updating as do the carpets. There isn’t a vent in the bathroom so the room seemed a bit musty. We had a fridge but no microwave. On the plus side the beds were very comfortable. The parking situation can be tough as the hotel shares a parking structure with another hotel and the spaces are a bit tight for a large vehicle. If you get lucky enough you’ll find a larger spot in their regular parking lot. There is a pool and spa which we didn’t use but saw others enjoying. Wishing they would offer coffee in the lobby as all they had in room was a tiny kourige that I refuse to use in hotel rooms. There is a Walgreens, cvs and 7-11 on the corner and lots of restaurants and eateries all up and down the street so everything is walkable. Overall I would stay again for the price and proximity to the park if I’m just planning on being in the parks all day and using the room to shower and sleep.
- 4/5
There was no wash cloths to shower
- 3/5
The bed was comfortable, room had decent amount of space, did not feel like you are in a cramped hotel room. Some areas in room were obviously worn down. It was good for a place to spend the night. Staff was very nice and accommodating so that's always a plus.
- 4/5
I was attending a convention at the convention center. This was a perfect location. My only qualm with the hotel is the floors are kind of thin so we heard every step of the person above us. Granted this is not a hotel problem It’s a person with no conscious effort to walk softly and not bang on the floor when you’re above somebody. Overall this was a great option for me at the Convention.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay at the Portofino. The walk is only a few blocks away from the Parks. It is also conveniently located near shops and restaurants.
- 1/5
We have stayed at this property for years. It has gone downhill. We will not be staying here again. We asked for our room to be cleaned cuz we were there for 4 nights. When i called to ask for the next day they said they would check our reservation to see if they will do it. Never heard of that. They never cleaned it only gave us towels but took the tip every time. We asked them to fix the shower cuz it was broken and was spraying up at the ceiling and made the floor a lake. They kept telling me they would fix it. Fixed it on our last day. Dont get me started on the dirty bathroom. There was hair all on the floor when we checked in. There was so much negative. We use to love this hotel and its location. We would rather go somewhere else on our next trip.
- 5/5
Room and property were clean, but the rooms itself are a bit outdated. Close to Disney parks so that’s a plus.
- 4/5
You’ll need to bring extra bag for dirty clothes. Some rooms smell but if you let them know they can help you move rooms. Carpets are very stained and probably part of the smell.
- 2/5
Shower water was cold The room walls look like they could’ve been cleaned better light fixtures were stained look like they needed to be wiped down as well and the floor at ice machine was broken and vending machine
- 5/5
Hotel was on good conditions
- 5/5
The hotel was nice, staff friendly and helpful. The property was also convenient and well located.
- 3/5
This hotel has really aged and needs a complete update. Granted we were only here to sleep but walls are thin, beds not super comfortable and shower head needed to be replaced as barely shooting out water. I stayed here years ago and it was very nice. Although 12 minutes to the Disney Resort Parks, I would stay at a better maintained property.
- 4/5
The rooms are always nice and clean wasn’t too happy with having to pay for parking the whole reason for staying there as I have before you didn’t have to pay for parking and charging a resort fee for that pool.
- 3/5
Rooms need to be updated - still had popcorn ceilings in the room we were in. Bathroom door was hard to close and didn't lock - definitely needed a new door. Need an extra mirror in the bedroom part of it - not enough for 3 people trying to get ready at the same time.
- 5/5
The sofa bed is reallly really bad. Almost impossible to sleep on it. Elevators were very scary but it wasn’t anything too bad.
- 5/5
Really clean room and very close parking. The staff was a 10/10. Already booking our next stay there
- 4/5
Front desk is friendly they let us check in a bit early. Room is spacious we got the room with king bed sofa bed and bunk bed.
- 2/5
The reservation was for two adults three children, and there was only three towels total and no wash rags in the room. The pullout couch bed was broken. We had to use one of the mattresses in order for my child not to fall through.
- 4/5
There is a CVS, Walgreens, Coffee Bean and Starbucks on the corner. If you are looking for a reasonable place to stay, close to the park, this is a good choice.
- 5/5
The room was large and clean, however it definitely needed some TLC when it came to the room itself (just an older property and the room was noticeably not renovated). the staff was friendly and the walk to disneyland was effortless, the location was our favorite part. When we made the booking parking was included but then their policy changed, which they still honored the included parking which was amazing.
- 3/5
Online it said free parking, but they were going to charge for parking. Housekeeping was only once every 3 days. Service was courteous but not knowledgeable about discounts and location. Distance from the parks was an easy 10 ish minute walk. Overall if you need an inexpensive place to stay it was ok, but not upscale in any way.
- 4/5
Great location between the Convention Center and Disneyland. However, the room did have a bit of a lingering scent to it. Other than that, it worked out well. Maybe a larger in-room table would have been more useful than the little round table they have in there.
- 4/5
The staff was great and room was clean.
- 5/5
All was great.
- 5/5
It was great.
- 4/5
Staff was amazing. The room was clean. The property definitely needs updating and some maintenance. Some of the lights were coming out the ceiling, elevator has a weird noise when going from floor 2 to 1. It wasn’t a bad place to stay and the short walk to Disney was nice.
- 5/5
It’s close Disneyland parks. Cons it needs to be updated. Rooms are very outdated and not that clean.
- 5/5
Easy check in. Clean rooms with comfortable beds.
- 5/5
Clean room, close to the Disney, great staff
- 4/5
It was really close to Disneyland. Only about a 11 minute walk. Our room was very cold. I turned up the heat, but cold air would only come through the vents. I didn't know that they would only clean our rooms every other day or if requested, so the first night we returned and our room had not been cleaned. The staff was very friendly.
- 3/5
Parking lot was very small. On check out was told there would be an additional resort fee that wasn't paid and would come out of the deposit.
- 5/5
It was very nice
- 4/5
The room was clean. Could use some updating. The wifi however didnt work and the lobby wasnt very cleanly. The location was very convenient to walk to cvs or disneyland so that was great.
- 5/5
Staff is so hospitable and the rooms are great
- 3/5
Room was supposed to have a Bunk bed but there wasn’t one. The whole reason we paid the extra was to get the room with the bunk bed so no one needed to sleep on the sofa. Was a big bummer.
- 5/5
Cerca de centro comercial , farmacias y tiendas
- 2/5
The bathroom shampoo/ body wash / conditioner were all empty and never got refilled. I had to buy my own to use.
- 5/5
Staff was great and very friendly. Showed up late and actually had my reservations canceled while I was driving to the hotel (road trip). But when I arrived. I believe the man was jimmy. He was great and got our reservations back up and got us to our room after a long and late drive. Room, was clean and parking was ok. Would recommend and would definitely come back for another stay.
- 3/5
Staff was very nice
- 5/5
Very good, affordable, clean, Disney neighborhood hotel!
- 4/5
It was a nice property for the price point.
- 5/5
Rooms were very spacious and everything was walking distance. The only issue is not enough parking near rooms.
- 4/5
Limited parking close enough to room but the parking garage isn’t too bad of a walk.
- 5/5
Awesome spot
- 5/5
Clean
- 2/5
This is by far the worst experience the room had a smell of mold like old mold. We walked in the room and the pillow cases dirty, the bathroom door knob broken like literally the room in general was in poor condition the bed was hard and the floor was dirty. To be honest we didn’t even want to stay but it was so late that we had no other choice. Won’t be staying here again.
- 5/5
Been clming to stay at the portofino many times. Love the vibes and the friendlyness.
- 4/5
If you’re staying here for Disneyland, keep in mind it’s about an 8–10 minute walk, which is very convenient. There are also many stores nearby, which is a plus. The only downside is the limited indoor parking—if you’re staying more than a day, the garage is pretty small and can fill up quickly. Check-in and check-out are easy, and overall it’s very affordable.
- 3/5
Stayed here years ago. Place has not been kept up with. It’s not dirty but not super clean either. Everything feels very old. The location is great though. Right next to a 24 hour CVS and 10 min walk to the parks. This is a good option if you just need a convenient place to sleep.
- 3/5
The parking lot was very small and the room was old and kind of musty. It was nice to be walking distance to Disneyland. Also, it was nice and quiet until around 6am when the truck came to empty the dumpsters outside. (twice), that was super loud. The girls we had when we check in was pleasant, the girl we had when we checked out not so much. Overall, it was just okay.
- 4/5
Everything was good, location was the thing for me a quick walk to the parks.
- 5/5
The property was clean. The room was a little outdated; very spacious, having two sinks was helpful. The staff was friendly and helpful. Easy walk to Disneyland, with our 2 year old granddaughter.
- 5/5
Was great
- 3/5
Once we got there, we were told they do not charge resort fees, however, Hotels.com did charge me resort fees. And
- 4/5
The water pressure was a bit low and the body wash available wasn't quite to my liking but the location was great for the convention center and Disney. There are great food options for delivery and around the area. If you just want a great bed to lay in at the end of the long day after being out from 8am - 10pm and fall asleep to food network, this is the place.
- 5/5
Nice and close to Disneyland and clean and quiet, need more staff workers
- 5/5
The parking was a little tricky so we decided to not move our vehicle once we got there. Staff were very friendly and nice and greeted me every time we walk through the door.
- 1/5
Be very careful when staying here. We specifically asked several times how much would be charged to our card and were told a certain amount (the same amount) 4X. Come home from our trip and there’s a charge on our card for over double what they said it would be and was told it was “resort fees.” Cool, I know some places have those, but why was I not told before hand? Nowhere on the hotels.com app did it say there would be resort fees and again they told us 4 separate times our charge amount and never ever mentioned this. When I reached out to the hotel I was told resort fees are standard and that’s it. It wasn’t having to pay resort fees, I get that, it’s the lying about the amount over and over and then getting charged double and not being prepared.
- 5/5
Great place for family to stay in for your Disney stay
- 3/5
Was disappointed to find that they no longer had a shuttle service to the park, and wasn’t told about it until I asked.
- 2/5
Rooms were gross. Trash was left in between the bunk beds and wall. Hair was left on bathroom sink. Floors were not vacuumed well. Get what you pay for
- 3/5
An hour but they didn’t. So we had no house keeping for the 4 days 3 nights we were there.
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 3/5
We stayed here for one night after returning from a cruise. The proximity to Disney is great and the rate was very reasonable for a family of 5. My only complaint is that our room was near the road and we heard lots of noise from outside during the night. The room was clean but seemed a little dated and needed some general upkeep. For one night, it was fine. Probably not what I would have chosen for multiple nights.
- 1/5
The staff is fine. The inside is very dated but seemed okay until we found mushrooms or fungus growing out of our ceilings. We reported to management who have took all the information and even requested the photos be emailed with a promise to call us back with an update and it still has not happened that was 2 days ago. Now I have been dealing with itchiness all over my body
- 5/5
Felt very safe , walking distance to Disney and local restaurants...friendly staff. Great stay✌️
- 5/5
Easy walk to Disneyland. The parking was convenient. The hotel shares a parking garage with another hotel and it is close and convenient if there isn’t a surface space. The beds are comfortable. The only mirrors are in the bathroom area. It would have been nice to have a mirror in the bedroom area too.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay a great distance to the park.
- 5/5
Great location!
- 3/5
Overall a decent experience for just needing a place to sleep.
- 2/5
The rooms are a bit outdated and the ac in my room did not work i mentioned it to the front nothing could be done😩it was a hard night it also had a stench had to open the sliding door for air
- 5/5
It works for families!
- 5/5
Big room, liked the double sinks in our room
- 2/5
There were cockroaches in the bathroom.
- 5/5
It felt like I was at home I really love the pool so clean and nice staff are so respectful 👍
- 5/5
The staff is very kind. We absolutely loved how close it was to Disney! Even after a long day of walking at the parks, the walking distance is so short. Loved our stay. We found our new disney hotel!
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Hotel was really clean and the best part is that it was close enough to walk to Disneyland.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel and staff
- 3/5
Room wasn’t cleaned well. There were spots on the walls and some debris on the floor that could have been picked up if someone would have swept before we got there. Also, the chair in our room was dirty and we asked for towels but never got them.
- 4/5
The staff was friendly and outgoing. The room was as described and accommodated our family well.
- 2/5
I woke up early in the morning to water dripping on the floor. Went to check and the sink was overflowing from the drain. Went to call the front desk and the phone didn’t work. I had to call the office from my cell phone. They did send someone over fairly quickly and had to stay awake while repairs were being done. And for such the inconvenience… nothing. Who ever I spoke to on the phone I believe was the manager on duty. When I checked out, not so much as a sorry. Normally I wouldn’t mention anything, but this was quite the inconvenience. This was quite disappointing as I normally enjoy this hotel.

Staff nice, facilities clean, rooms are super old and haven’t been updated in awhile. That being said it’s clean, the bunk beds are awesome for families, black out curtains awesome, so nice to have a microwave and fridge. Everything was great minus it’s just old and needs to be updated. Mattress also good have definitely been better
- 5/5
This is our go to hotel for all visits to Disney! Staff is always kind and helpful throughout our trips. Rooms and property are clean, and the close proximity to Walgreens & CVS is a plus with littles!
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay, closeness to Disney and parking
- 3/5
The staff was not entirely helpful with the basic needs I needed to make my stay smooth.
- 3/5
The stay was fair based on the rates but the rooms are very outdated and had an odor that lingered. Basic TV no options for apps like Netflix, Disney, Prime etc. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Location was great as well!
- 4/5
The pool was nice and the cvs next door was convenient and perfect distance for a walk to Disneyland
- 4/5
They don’t have enough parking space and we got a key to park in other hotel we got out we were charged $120 for 2 days it was confusing to use the key they provided a lot of cars were backing up for the same reason we we’re about to do the same but I we figured out
- 4/5
The room was adequate for our needs. The mini fridge was hard to use because the door got stuck on the cabinet each time we opened or closed it.
- 3/5
Parking was hard to find. Overall good stay
- 4/5
Everything was good staff was really nice, room was clean except one of the sinks light kept working only now and then, Parking was a nightmare but other then that definitely recommended
- 3/5
Parking is limited. The room had a musty smell.. overall it was quiet and did the trick for a room to sleep in on a Disney trip
- 1/5
Upon entering the room, The toilet was clogged and the bathroom door was broken, the toilet keeper clogging up through our stay, requested for more towel which they did not bring, I was told I had to go and get them. 😩
- 5/5
Great to deal with.
- 5/5
The amenities are lackluster; however, I understand it's not a high-end hotel.
- 1/5
Water leaking from the ceiling, got fixed after water drenched the carpet. Hotel was fully booked so a room change was not possible, but what made it bad was the front desk staff attitude. Rude, almost felt like they were annoyed I called about water leaking all in the room. We were exhausted after a long day and we couldn't sleep thinking there was mold. We almost just left and drove home. Awful experience. Will not stay here again.
- 2/5
Our family has stayed here in years past and while back several years ago it was slightly dated it has become quite run down. Furniture was old and stained, carpets were stained and overall just worn, wall paper was peeling away from the walls, rusting hinges and signs of water damage in the bathroom, beds were very springy(not comfy) but most concerning was the smell in the hallways. It did smell like there may have been a sewage issue on at least the floor we stayed on and the hotel installed fragrance ommiting devices that were supposed to cover the smell but rather made it worse and was so strong you could taste the fragrance and see the almost smoke like residue in the air. The only thing that saved us from having a headache from the fragrance smell because it did linger into our room was the fact that room had a sliding door to the outside so we could get fresh air into our room. We would have left the hotel if our family that we were traveling with hadn’t booked two other rooms here. We did have plenty of linens but had to call for towels since they don’t clean the room daily. When I had to call the front desk for towels, I had to call from my mobile phone since the in room phones would only produce a busy signal to the front desk, tried a different times of the day several times and it remained a busy signal. We were visiting the park so spent most of our days at Disney, I would say it would not be a hotel I could relax in and I would not book this hotel again.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, spacious
- 5/5
Stayed in the family suite , it was perfect for what we needed. The pool area was wonderful the kids had a blast.
- 4/5
Everything worked out well
- 4/5
While the room was dated everything was clean and the staff were courteous.
- 5/5
Amazing staff and really clean rooms
- 5/5
Great customer service. Room was clean and spacious.
- 3/5
Just an ok stay. Beds are uncomfortable, but convenient to convention center. Due to beds uncomfortable, I’ll book somewhere else next time
- 5/5
Absolutely loved this hotel. It was convenient, clean and had great amenities for the area.
- 5/5
Great staff decent hotel
- 3/5
stains on clean white bedding still visible, no ceiling fan in shower room, double billed for our stay, mattresses were hard
- 3/5
Rooms need refreshing.
- 2/5
Lots of issues with room. Bulbs burnt out. Plugs shorting out/ not working. Toilet kept running.
- 5/5
Very spacious
- 5/5
Great location. Attentive staff.
- 4/5
Overall the lobby was clean and outside was very well maintained. Very close to everything.

- 3/5
Proximity to theme park was walkable. Courteous employees. Only thing was it was little noisy. Hallway noise was pretty loud in early morning with doors slamming, people talking and rooms being cleaned.
- 4/5
Close walk to Disney parks!
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Excellent servise
- 5/5
All the above, super friendly staff! The housekeepers were amazing, very helpful and kind.
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 5/5
Room was clean staff is great
- 5/5
Clean and staff friendly
- 4/5
The staff was friendly and welcoming, which we really appreciated. While the hotel is in a great location within walking distance of Disneyland and is reasonably priced, the property itself feels a bit outdated. Unfortunately, the AC never cooled the room to the temperature we wanted, and there was an unpleasant smell in the room. That said, for the price and proximity to Disneyland, it worked well as a place to rest after long days at the park.
- 5/5
Comfortable and clean with helpful staff. Walking distance to Disneyland. Will be a repeat visitor for sure.
- 3/5
I had to make a few calls because I needed an extra blanket and the heater wasn't working. Also, there is no full length mirror and the refrigerator froze my stuff so I had to adjust that the staff was really sweet and accommodating and they fix the heating. Also, it was really close to my event.
- 4/5
The room had a lot of space. There was a sink inside and outside the bathroom which made getting ready easy. The hotel itself is dated, which is not a "negative" in my opinion as I care much more about a quiet, clean, safe place to sleep. If aesthetics are important to you, this may not satisfy.
- 4/5
Beds and pillows were amazing! We had an ada room andI don’t know if I accidentally booked it, but the shower was problematic. Otherwise excellent stay with Starbucks and cvs right close. Easy walk to Disneyland!
- 4/5
Comfy enough bed, good location, shower had good pressure, great staff helped us get a spoon after our food delivery didn’t include any, also had some snacks out for after the Disneyland races for us runners. Guess I was unlucky as our room was one of the ones with a finicky AC wouldn’t cool very well ended up having to open up the balcony door to cooldown the room better. Would’ve been more than a minor annoyance had we stayed during a hotter period but wasn’t too hot throughout the day so wasn’t so bad.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 4/5
The room was clean and staff was nice. Only a 15min walk to the park
- 3/5
Our stay was perfectly fine. The rooms were clean and comfortable enough for a short trip, and the staff provided a good level of customer service throughout our visit. The Portofino is exactly what it claims to be: a reliable 2.5 to 3-star resort. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for a functional home base near the parks without the luxury price tag.
- 5/5
The staff was helpful and polite. Room was clean and a decent stay for the price
- 5/5
The room and bathroom was very clean with lots of space and plenty of sleeping arrangements for 3 adults attending NAMM. Yhe location was also perfect walking distance to the convention halls and several tasty restaurants from IHOP to Coffee Bean & Tea Lead to Morton’s Steakhouse and Cheesecake Factory! Plus a CVS & Walgreens on the corner for quick coneviences like water, snacks, whisky, wine & beer. A perfect experience.
- 4/5
The room was good, it was clean. It only lacked more pillows and blankets for the pull out couch bed. I was a bit disappointed in all the extra fees that were not disclosed properly, such as, one car did receive free parking...unless you are checking in earlier than your room was ready, and then it was $20/day for "early parking". I was charged that, but I only pre-checked in early, you didn't have a room ready at that time, so it's really not a proper charge that cost me $40.00.
- 5/5
A un paso del Anaheim Convention Center, recomendado, este será a partir de ahora mi hotel cada vez que visite NAMM Show
- 3/5
We had to be moved to the top floor because it was too noisy on the fourth floor
- 5/5
Quick easy and smooth
- 3/5
The inconvenience was parking, as the manager catered to other parties and sectioned off the parking lot for them. I had to park in another hotel's parking garage down the lane, and then hassle with the parking passes. I was told if I did not return the parking passes the hotel would charge me. The in bath soaps had a very strong masculine fragrance, don't use it. Towels are clean but not soft. like cardboard. Bed good, slept great. Noise level low.
- 3/5
Phone in the room didn’t work no line.
- 5/5
Wonderful Staff! Jesus at the front desk was outstanding. The Parking attendants & Security staff also very courteous. Big clean suite, on the top floor. Quiet. Nice parking garage. Convenient to Disneyland & the Convention Center. All the room amenities you could want.
- 5/5
I have stayed here a few times. They are very accommodating, the service and front desk is always so nice. Wish they had electric doors for stroller friendly access. Parking is interesting and could maybe use an upgrade. The overall cleanliness is decent for the caliber ande price of the hotel. Not really updated.
- 3/5
The hotel had a smell, but looked clean
- 5/5
Big room, perfect for my family of 4.
- 5/5
Friendly and clean
- 5/5
Room was great . Exactly what we needed.
- 5/5
Spacious room
- 4/5
Staff were very friendly. The lobby smelled good as i walked in
- 5/5
Room was clean and the bed comfy!
- 5/5
Clean, great location
- 2/5
The heating and cooling system did not work, and multiple engineers could notf8x.
- 1/5
The room was really outdated. The staff was extremely rude.
- 3/5
The outside of the hotel looks nice You walk in the lobby looks clean and decorated. But once the elevator opens to the second floor, which is a floor we stayed on. There’s an old / moldy smell. The room has a stronger smell of the same smell . Also there was no ventilation in the bathroom
- 4/5
Staff, as always, are terrific at The Anaheim Portofino. My family has stayed at the Portofino at least 10 times. My only complaint is that the rooms are getting “tired” and showing their age.
- 4/5
We didn’t get to use the pool or hot tub. It had been raining. The room was nice, but it was older. Had a big bed and a sofa pullout bed. Wish we had more dresser. Space
- 5/5
Great location to walk to Disneyland with fair parking options.
- 3/5
Staff was good and room was clean. There was was just a bad smell in the room.
- 2/5
The room smell bad
- 3/5
The staff were all very friendly and nice but the rooms looked outdated and weren’t fully cleaned. The carpet smelled old and looked very dirty.
- 5/5
Great place
- 4/5
The rooms were basic but the staff are amazing!!! My son accidentally left a toy in the lobby and they helped me get it home!!! Thank you!!!!

Very nice hotel perfect waking distance to Disney
- 4/5
The room was a great size. The staff was also great and very helpful.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable bed
- 5/5
Amazing service super close to Disney and they even offer you small token for kids to keep and take. Will be booking again
- 5/5
The location convenience.
- 5/5
Clean rooms
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and helpful.
- 2/5
The room had a broken pullout couch and couldn’t get a new room till next day. Parking is unclear and inconvenient. Paper thin walls. Lack of amenities and unprofessional.
- 3/5
This was a nice enough place. They say house keeping comes every 3 days but it didn’t snd I had to keep asking. Ran out of hot water for showers.
- 3/5
New carpet and fresh paint! The rooms need updated.
- 4/5
Nice staff,
- 5/5
Clean room short walking from the parks and convention center
- 5/5
The room was huge, clean and loved the location. Close to Disneyland!
- 1/5
The staff at check in was very helpful and kind. The staff was also accommodating in switching our room after we found black mold all over the bathroom. Under all the peeling wallpaper was covered in black mold. The ceiling was spotty with black mold but the walls and base boards were covered. It was difficult to breathe because the air was so musty. My son who is recovering from valley fever was at extreme risk, and exposure to this amount of black mold can be dangerous to anyone, but especially some one with an existing lung condition. Again the staff was helpful and switched our rooms right away but the new room also had black mold on the bathroom ceiling. It was less and didn’t smell as musty and it was very late so we weren’t able to switch hotels. Won’t stay here again. Rooms desperately need updating, deep cleaning and fumigation.
- 3/5
The first room I was given wasnt in good condition. Had gnats in the drain of the shower.
- 3/5
The rooms, hallways needs upkeep. Several worn out areas in the room, mainly in the restroom.
- 4/5
staff was nice and I appreciated the free parking.
- 3/5
Been staying here for years. Good location to walk to the park from. This stay left a lot to be desired. Room was pretty poorly cleaned and in need of some repairs and paint. Hotel is showing its age.
- 4/5
Nice room with a balcony.
- 3/5
Rooms are decent other than sound quality throughout the hotel. You will hear everything from everyone.
- 5/5
One of the few that has free parking, and I like the area. Rooms are great for our Disney visits.
- 4/5
Close walking distance to Disneyland but the bathroom felt dirty and the hotel overall was dated. Just stayed for 1 night.
- 5/5
Simple and clean. East check in/out and parking. Quick walk to nearby venues
- 5/5
We had the family suite and it was perfect . The only thing is when you showered the water had a bad smell.
- 4/5

- 5/5

- 4/5
This is a perfect spot if you're going to Disneyland. We parked the car and walked every day. Restaurants are all walking distance, too. Hotel rooms are nice. We had the family suites which were very roomy. Staff were very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay again!
- 2/5
Air conditioning didn’t work throughout our whole 3-night stay. Despite complaining about it every day and their promise that it would be fixed, it never worked and just blew hot air. We had to open the sliding glass door in order to even try to cool the room down, but then we had to listen to all the noise outside. Very hot & stuffy and no one slept well the whole stay. Also, we had requested a room change, but they said there were no rooms available. Very disappointing!!
- 3/5
Positives - The air conditioner works amazing. It stays where you put it and works even if there is no movement. Great area and walkable to Disneyland. Negatives- it's time for a remodel. Also our toilet ran the whole time and we could not fix it. The beds are very firm. The halls have a smell about them.
- 4/5
Jess at the front desk was super kind and helpful. Easy walk to parks.
- 1/5
As soon as my 65 year old mother and I entered the hotel at 12am, we were greeted with a “what”. Rude, but I let it slide because we all have bad days. Didnt inform me about anything or how much the deposit was Just demanded a card. Hair dryer didnt work, tried calling front desk, phone didnt work. TV didnt work. Fire alarm went off at 5:30am (which wasnt a huge deal but added to the disappointment). Asked to get some sort of reimbursement so I could go to another hotel. Was told no because of their non-refundable policy which I would get if the reason wasnt because of their staff and room. But because they didnt help at all, I will never go back. Very disappointed as we have stayed there a few times and they didnt care about loyalty. Pretty crappy.
- 1/5
I’ve never stayed at a hotel this bad in my life. The entire place felt old, dirty, and completely rundown. Our bathroom was especially terrible grimy, outdated, and the shower curtain was absolutely disgusting. I was extremely disappointed with the overall cleanliness and condition of the room. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
- 4/5
it was good but the wifi didn’t work
- 5/5
Really close to disneyland and local restaurants. Right next to parking structure. Free parking.
- 3/5
It's old the bathroom
- 5/5
Everything was well and amazing, Will come back
- 3/5
Tired room. Needs a renovation. Not enough parking.
- 4/5
The rooms were very clean! Hot tub was hot and after a long disneyland day it helped with the sore legs! Only complaint was the second floor smells of poo. I would say it was a 1 day problem but i was there 4 nights and it always had that smell
- 3/5
Parking was insufficient. When checking in the instructions were poorly given so I’m glad I did not have to use most of them until a few days later when I could go back and reconfirm the instructions given, and I got all brand new instructions that were not what I was told. The fridge in one of the rooms I had booked was terrible. We had to get a new one and the phone in the same room did not work. The pullout couch beds were terrible to sleep on the mattress on. Those were so thin you felt the metal all night long.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and friendly staff
- 1/5
Staff did not answer phone. When they did kept putting us on hold. Asked for towels never got any.
- 5/5
Very good customer service
- 4/5
Room was a bit dated, but clean and the bed was comfy. Make sure to bring earplugs because we heard a lot of noise from the hallway, outside the slider, and above us. Overall, a nice hotel, I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Courteous staff.. comfortable room!
- 4/5
Nice hotel easy walking to Dis
- 5/5
we always stay here when at Disney land and will continue to stay here every time we are on vacation
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful from day one to check out. Was able to check in early with a minimal fee. Wish room had own microwave esp when coming back from Disney after closing. Room was perfect and comfortable. Short walk to/from Disney.
- 5/5
The shower pressure needs to be updated and they need more parking! Other than that the experience was great and the staff were very nice!
- 3/5
Rooms need to be updated. There was hair inside the bathroom from prior guest. Place was overall alright, hidden fees at check in.
- 2/5
Th hotel is very outdated! Walls and carpet are filthy. Bedding and towels look very old. The room smelled moldy.
- 4/5
Was clean service was good
- 1/5
Staff was great but room was dirty. Furniture falling apart Elevator hand rail also falling off. We only stayed one night could not sleep because there was something leaking from the vent by the entrance. Beds are very uncomfortable. Convenience is great. But the cons are too much for us.
- 5/5
Great staff room could use a little updating but overall very clean and comfortable
- 4/5
The only bad thing was that the beds are horribly uncomfortable and the pillows were awful.
- 5/5
The Portofino holds great memories for our sons from years back when we would get the rooms with bunk beds and returning with a 21 yr old son was a pleasure once again.
- 5/5
Clean room and understanding staff!
- 3/5
We were first give a key to a room that was still occupied! The second room had a kids shoe left under the sink. You are charged $20/a day for a resort fee. I wouldn’t call this a resort. It was convenient to Disney and restaurants.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, coffee maker, hair dryer, plenty of towels, provided with soap, shampoo, body wash. Will be my go to Anaheim hotel.
- 4/5
Rooms are okay. Could use a little upgrade but very convenient. Beds are comfy. We stayed in a family suit. The bunk beds were super convenient.
- 5/5
Over all everything was great! I would highly recommend the stay!
- 4/5
Only issue was the fan in the bathroom kept coming on and was so loud.
- 5/5
Next to the bed was really dirty. The paint was chipping on the wall.
- 4/5
The hotel was the perfect size for a group of six. It was about a 5-10 minute walk to Disneyland. There is also a CVS and Coffee Bean without having to leave the parking lot. The pool was heated and the hot tub was nice. The kids enjoyed playing in it. There is not much parking right outside the buildings. It was easier to park in the larger structure and walk down to the hotel. We stayed in the separate tower and had access directly onto Harbor Blvd. The room could’ve been a little cleaner, but for the price and convenience to the Disneyland Resort, I would definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
Staff was really friendly, area is good and within walking distance to distance but the rooms and elevator need to be updated
- 5/5
Safe hotel and walking distance to Disneyland. 🕷
- 5/5
Spotless and spacious
- 5/5
We love this place. We’ve stayed there twice now and will be back for sure, the bunkbeds were perfect for the kids. The beds are comfortable. The staff is amazing.
- 4/5
Suite was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Staff was helpful
- 5/5
We stayed for a week and the staff from check in was helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable, service from our cleaning ladies were excellent and gave us the 4 towel sets because there was 4 of us, anytime we needed something we just asked the front desk and no problems. Parking was tight some days but there’s more in a garage nearby, it’s really not that far. There’s security in the area and they were all respectful and friendly not creepy. Disneyland entrance is about 3 blocks away so you also don’t hear all the noise that comes from there. It’s close to the convention center and there’s CVS and Walgreens on the corner open 24 hours in case you need something. We Will absolutely stay here again when we come back to Anaheim.
- 5/5
Clean room, parking safe
- 1/5
The rook had bed bugs and was very dirty
- 3/5
Cons: needs updating, crappy pillows, rough towels, missing tissues, poor parking situation, but have options that work I would stay here again but mostly because I just needed a place to sleep and shower.
- 4/5
Was expecting more for the 2k that we spent for our week and based off of the advertised photos. The room itself was in need of some repairs and updating but it was nice to have the additional space since we were there for 8 days. The place was quiet, until our last night, and the maid staff only serviced our room once, shouldve been twice per their policy. Overall, it was conveniently located just a 12 min walk to disneyland and the overall space was nice to have...would probably consider booking again in the future.
- 1/5
Wouldn’t recommend a room here dirty shower
- 2/5
Room was dirty. Found crumbs in bed when checkin in
- 3/5
The pictures on the website look way better than it actually is. The place is SUPER outdated. Carpets kind of nasty. The hotel is in a great location..great walking distance to Disney shuttles and Park. The room we got was pretty spacious I’ll give it that. We were pretty disappointed that we left and spent the day at the park and came back to NO house keeping had been done. You’re definitely paying for the location of this hotel because it’s way overpriced for what you get. Next time we will be spending the extra money to stay somewhere nicer.
- 4/5
Close to Disneyland, Cheesecake Factory and shops
- 4/5
I love this property for the most part it is clean but the rooms need a good deep clean but overall the people who work here are super nice and friendly. Parking is included and the walk to Disney and CA isn’t bad
- 2/5
The rooms are extremely dated and don’t feel very clean. Lack of towels, empty soaps…. It feels old and dirty.
- 3/5
Convenient, quiet, clean, safe
- 5/5
.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and accommodating, room was clean and easy to get to. Loved the Halloween decor in the Lobby. Close enough to the Disney Parks.
- 5/5
Comfortable and convinient place!
- 5/5
very friendly staff and our room was amazing
- 4/5
Parking was secure, facility was secure. Room was Missing a safe. Room was comfortable. Carpets could use cleaning. Only seemed to have one front staff person at a time, but were friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
They were fine
- 5/5
We have stayed here multiple times and enjoy our stay every time! The staff here are amazing, friendly, and accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying here. It is not too far to walk to Disneyland or to You Sorry Parking lot to take the bus.
- 4/5
AC was very sporadic, ants in the bathroom
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Clean hotel. Easy check in. Good parking. Close walk to the parks. Good stay for families. Very spacious family suites
- 5/5
nice
- 4/5
Parking was ok, only 2 spots for arriving guests. This hotel very busy. Should have more. My room was warm. A/C not working properly.
- 3/5
Its was an okay stay. Room was clean. Hotel was clean. We didn't have a shower curtain but they got us one right away. Parking is a pain. Beds were meh. Overall, it was good. Oh and location is great.
- 5/5
Loved everything! Super friendly staff!! The room service attendants noticed we were using makeup and left us makeup wipes which came in handy!! Super thankful for the attention to detail!!
- 3/5
The bathroom door did not close iron did not work
- 3/5
If you’re looking for a hotel to rest, sleep, relax this is NOT your hotel! The mattress was like laying on plywood. The walls and ceiling were paper thin. Sounded like a herd of elephants above us. The bathroom was not clean. Hair left on the floor. Old urine left on the toilet bowl. The trash man picked up the trash bright & early one morning so loud banging the bins around. The parking is horrible. Tiny & very few spaces. I stood in the lobby for 5 min until someone finally came out to check me in. Very unwelcoming like I was bothering her.
- 5/5
Great thx! Gave a late check out!
- 4/5
Like staying at your facility. Shower pressure was barely useable.
- 5/5
Very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful
- 3/5
10 minute walk to Disneyland. Nice and helpful staff. Unfortunately, our coffee maker hadn't been cleaned and it was gross when I boiled water and black coffee came out instead. Also I asked for a quiet room and they put us right next to the elevator and it was so noisy I had to ear plugs all night.
- 5/5
Loved everything about about room except
- 1/5
Dusty, outdated, shower tub leaks
- 5/5
Staff was great and room was clean. Walkable distance to disneyland.
- 5/5
Walking distance to disney great location. Clean and convenient
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Nice place. We had the family room and I was surprised it was a little smaller than I expected, but it was fine. The phone in the room was defective, but that's minor. Very walkable location to Disneyland. What I really liked was that we had an unexpected need for a scooter, and the staff got the scooter company on the line with me so I could reserve one right away. Really appreciated that.
- 5/5
Staff were friendly, location was convenient for lunch time naps and the swimming pool was handy for over heating! Would recommend 😊
- 3/5
Room was a little outdated . The central ac did not feel
- 5/5
Everything was nice. Staff was helpful.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
A very nice and clean facility, centrally located and very close to Disneyland, the very friendly staff and an enjoyable location
- 4/5
We always stay here when in Anaheim, the property is clean and everyone is helpful and nice. When walking into the main office it used to smell like Disneyland but this time it smelt like cleaners, the property needs updating. Beds were hard as well.
- 4/5
Staff very friendly & helpful. Lobby clean and smelled great when I walked in. Room nice, towels are big & fluffy. Mini fridge in room. Pool area nice, just enough to get a little swim or float around….not huge, just right. Price wise it was VERY reasonable, much lower than surrounding properties and still close to Disneyland (which after all is 99.9% of the visitors that stay). My only complaint is the parking….the parking area is sandwiched between buildings and the neighboring Residence Inn. A lot of us were in SUV’s and it was a bit of work to get in and out, then VERY little space between cars. With many having larger cars and having kids the space is small. Overall really enjoyed this hotel….i will definitely have this as my #1 choice when going to Disneyland /Anaheim again.
- 3/5
Staff was perfect… very accommodating when I needed to change room due to a very loud AC unit. They found me a new room quickly even though they were sold out for the weekend of the half marathon at Disneyland. I like the convenience of the Portofino but more and more seems to be run down and not kept up. The staff is so super helpful and friendly though!

Front desk was kind - we were able to complete pre-registration and park our car there while we went to Disneyland and awaited check-in. Front desk informed us that we would receive a text when our room was ready - which we never did. We also never received any pamphlet containing basic hotel info - map, wifi, amenities, etc. We received our room keys and that was that. At the end of the night, we ended up ordering room service. My salad was delivered without a fork so I called the front desk - she stated she would have someone bring a fork to our room and nobody ever showed up. No breakfast available, which is also a bummer. Luckily, there are plenty of breakfast options in the area. Room was clean besides some stains on the carpet. Pillows were both flat and lumpy at the same time. Overall, we'll choose another hotel next time.

Great staff, clean room!
- 5/5
Perfect stay and close to Disney
- 3/5
Plugs in bunk room didnt work so had two plugs to charge things. Shampoo and soap dispensers did not work right.
- 4/5
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
From the friendly check in with Claudia to the professional staff who cleaned our room! I checked out and forgot my phone.. luckily the staff found it and secured it until I was able to pick it up. Amazing service, huge thank you!!

We are a family of 5. We got the family suite with the bunk beds, big hit with the kiddos. Each kid got to sleep one night on the top bunk and would alternate between the bottom bunk and the pull out sofa. The sofa bed was not too comfy for an adult to sleep in but ok for a small child as the mattress is thin and flimsy. The beds all were comfortable. Only downside was that there was limited parking spaces. Plus side was that very close to Disney parks. About 20 minutes to walk to the park. We were able to walk to the Toy Story parking lot and get the free shuttle to Disneyland in about 10 minutes. We were told there was also a shuttle that stops in front of the hotel that takes you to the parks for $2 per person but we decided to just do the free shuttle. We even got to enjoy the pool. Spa was heated and pool water was just right. Will stay here again

I loved everything about this place. I would definitely continue to book here for my next Disney trips.
- 2/5
The hotel is out dated and needs TLC
- 4/5
Parking was a pain and very inconvenient, but the room was good for the price. Older room, but seemed clean.
- 2/5
The room smelled as soon as we walked in and there was a rusty screw holding in the shower head. Will never stay here again.
- 2/5
I liked the location of the hotel and the size of the room. However our room had cockroaches (so gross) and apparently they don’t service/clean the rooms except for on the 3rd day and we weren’t notified.
- 5/5
Perfect stay if going to Disney for more then a day
- 5/5
Quiet
- 4/5
Close to Disneyland. Great room for the price. There were a couple of small stains on the walls, but overall great stay. Would stay here again!
- 4/5
Nice stay, close to the parks. Housekeeping is only every three days, so no point on a four day stay.
- 5/5
Great option for staying close to Disneyland.
- 5/5
My stay was amazing, very close to Disneyland the walk was a long block away from Disneyland but overall very close and worth it especially if you have children, this was my second time staying and planning to stay again on the next Disneyland trip
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 2/5
Great location, but the property feels very dated. It had an unpleasant smell and wasn’t very comfortable. Fine for a one-night stay, but it’s definitely in need of renovation soon
- 5/5
Clean room and bathroom. Spacious room. Friendly front desk and helpful.
- 4/5
Good location, easy 10min walk to entrance to Disneyland. Room was large enough for 2 adults 2 kids. King size bed w/sofa bed. Bed was comfortable and good pillows. Can ask for more, if you wish. Microwave, coffee maker and mini fridge. Room is dated, but clean. No breakfast, but they have food delivery. Lots of restaurants/CVS store/gift shop in the area to choose from or bring your own. AC worked well, just kinda noisy. Shower pressure was a tad low, slow drain. Acceptable. At least we were able to take a shower after a long day at the park heheh. Mainly there for a day at Disney, so we were ok with it. Best part was the free parking!
- 4/5
Helpful staff. Clean and safe. Great place
- 5/5
Very Friendly staff
- 2/5
Old run down feels like your back in the 70’s
- 5/5
my stay was amazing conveniently located across from local restaurants for breakfast lunch dinner prompt service my shower had an issue and maintenance handled it quickly and met expectations the pool area is very comfortable staff was attentive but not intrusive this was a perfect stay highly recommended
- 4/5
The staff was super friendly!
- 5/5
Great place to stay when visiting Disneyland.
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my stay it's always a great time at portofino. I will definitely stay again
- 1/5
Had to change rooms after night one because we found 5 bugs in the room!!! 3 of them being SPIDERS!! Was told “oh it’s because you are on the first floor”. As a flight attendant who spends most of the year in hotel rooms I’ll tell you now that’s a pathetic excuse!! When we got to our new room 3 flys were in the sink and the curtains were half broken! I never stay here again
- 5/5
Really great place to stay!
- 4/5
Great location
- 4/5
This was the perfect family hotel for a Disneyland trip! It is about a mile away from the park. It was an easy walk. I love that there was a separate room for the kids. I only gave some four stars because it’s not fancy/luxury. But I would never want that for a family vacation! It was perfect for the type of trip we were on.
- 5/5
The best
- 3/5
Property was great. Some minor details weren’t that great.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful 3 night Disney trip here. Kids loved the family sutie as they closed the door to get their own privacy. Wonderful stay cleanliness is average staff is awesome
- 5/5
You can't beat the location for the price IMO. 5 minute walk to the convention center and Disney is across the street. I would stay again for sure.
- 2/5
First time staying at this hotel and the only good thing about it was location as it’s walking distance to Disneyland. Beds were okay but as soon as we walked in it smelled too much like chemicals and the room felt super humid even with AC on. The most annoying part of this stay was that the electrical outlets were not working properly we weren’t able to charge our devices properly. I wouldn’t consider this hotel again.
- 5/5
Wonderful attendants at the front desk. Friendly courteous and knowledgeable. Room attendants were also extremely courteous and friendly. I began staying at the Portofino in Anaheim a couple years ago and will continue being a loyal customer.
- 4/5
Rooms need updating but overall a clean property
- 5/5
Great place to stay with a family and very easy check in and check out process
- 5/5
Room stay was nice
- 3/5
In the past this hotel and it's location made it our obvious choice. The staff are friendly and attentive and the pool is warm and clean but the halls and rooms (we had 2) had an odd odor, like sewage. The hallways were heavily scented, which made us believe the management knew and was covering up a larger problem.
- 5/5
It’s always good staying here, very affordable and they are a great staff of people
- 5/5
Great stay. Very convenient. Friendly staff.
- 4/5
Nice over all
- 3/5
Bed is not good
- 5/5
Musty smell as expected because of pool patrons otherwise it was clean & comfortable. Perhaps they should carpet certain parts of the room & wood floor others. Staff was nice & welcoming.
- 4/5
I was able to walk to Disneyland in about 10-15 minutes depending on crowds and when I hit traffic lights. It’s right next to a cvs which was very convenient as well. All the hotels I’ve stayed at near Disney in the under $200 a night range are about the same quality wise, but this was a great affordable and walkable option for a Disneyland trip.
- 5/5
Loved the bunkbed suite! The best part was having lots of space in the room and 2 tvs so that the kids could watch their cartoons, and adults could watch something else.
- 4/5
We have stayed here two times now the family suites are awesome, and the king size bed in the family suite seems to be more comfortable than when we went the second time with the two queens smaller room. We love the staff and they are always so very friendly and love the parking situation too. Easy to walk to Disney. The hot tub was working at night to relax the muscles and bones too.
- 4/5
we were there for a disney trip. did not expect to have to walk to the adjacent building- no big deal, but no airconditioning in the hallways; elevator sounded suspect as well. and no body cleansor in the shower; they never replaced it in 4 days
- 5/5
Super Happy with the Stay, 3rd stay at this location and quality is great.
- 4/5
Beds were comfy
- 3/5
priced ok. The walk to Disney was super easy!!! That was the best part.
- 3/5
Other than that the location was really nice
- 3/5
The staff was very friendly and wonderful in decorating the room for a birthday celebration!!!! Room was nice but needed some deep cleaning and maybe some updated items in the room. Needs a place for towel storage , trash cans , a chair or somewhere to sit other than the fold out couch. Door jams in bathrooms were rotted out and walls were dirty. Location was awesome, near Disneyland and a mall.
- 5/5
We stayed here to be close to the convention center. It is! After our tournament we were able to walk to Disney and downtown Disney. All restaurants where so close to never needed a car to go anywhere
- 4/5
Hotel hallway smelled like pee and vomit the rooms are super old and you can hear everything in hallway big gap on both of door
- 5/5
Walking distance to Disneyland and restaurants
- 3/5
Location is amazing, price is amazing, staff is 10/10. The only thing that threw me off was the scent. It smelled like an old hotel. I had to buy air fresheners to try to get the scent better. Other than that, I had 0 issues. Customer service was amazing & it was clean. It’s just a bit outdated is all.
- 2/5
Not a great experience, no roll away beds when my room was downgraded with no warning
- 5/5
Me and my family have stayed here multiple times for different things. Its proximity to Disneyland and the Anaheim convention center is amazing!! Clean property and friendly staff!! We will be back for another stay soon!
- 5/5
Great weekend family trip. The hotel accommodated us with a crib for my son and fresh sheets when asked. Great walking location to Disney and the convention center.
- 5/5
Our 1st room had dried vomit on the carpet. The 2nd room had a urine smell.
- 4/5
The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was a slight musky smell, probably from
- 5/5
great hotel. staff was wonderful at check in and check out. walking distance to many places
- 4/5
Pool and Jacuzzi was nice. Room worked great, good bathroom and great beds! There was a musty kind of smell…I think it’s just the wear of the carpets down the hall…not sure, but was really the only issue. Oh, the corner of Harbor and Katella that the hotel is located on has some special character’s throughout the day and night.
- 4/5
Nice convenient location to stay for Disneyland. Everything is walkable. Staff has been helpful every time I’ve stayed. Parking provided at no additional cost which is nice as well considering parking runs $30+ dollars.
- 3/5
My only dislike was the lack of parking.
- 4/5
Nice for the price
- 3/5
Great value, near Disneyland. That’s about it. Walls were thin, felt like our neighbors were in our room. They advertise daily housekeeping but that was not true, they came by once to make the bed and drop off towels. Resort fees are terrible everywhere but when they don’t offer much it’s even worse. Wouldn’t stay here again. Would prefer to stay somewhere else and pay for the ART (Anaheim resort transit) to drop us off in front of Disneyland. We stayed in a regular two queen bed room on the first floor of the main hotel building. Room felt older with small bathroom, outdated wall paper and carpet, chipped furniture, some outlets didn’t work, only had one usb outlet and that one didn’t work. Staff was friendly. Nice lobby and nice looking building from the outside. Pictures online are pretty deceiving. Mostly lobby area and suites in their pictures.
- 5/5
Hotels, clean and conveniently located Disneyland Uber ride. The best part is coffee, right next-door and CVS and a few other conveniences, the only drawback is the rooms do not have a microwave
- 5/5
Front desk staff and parking attendants were amazing! Phenomenal experience!
- 3/5
It was ok, great customer service from all staff. Comfortable beds, needs to be updated. Carpet had wet spots in the room
- 1/5
Check in was terrible they took a long time to check me in, the lady which I don’t know her name had no name tag, took two phone calls while I was waiting for my room keys. The room was dirty, especially by the ac vent. No parking space you need to go to residence inn hotel parking lot and park. Will never stay there again. Did not contact the hotel when I noticed my room was dirty because I had a six hour drive and all I wanted to do is sleep. Also not my job to tell them how to clean the room.
- 5/5
Everyone was friendly and rooms were really clean
