Very friendly and helpful staff throughout, loved they asked before shutting down breakfast service Having to pay a 100 extra deposit (refundable) for potential breakages. Given we found a the rooms a little tired and worn in places, did feel a little on edge as a family vacation group. If the room was immaculate would not have been concerned. Overall suite was spacious and well equipped, made best by the wonderful staff around. Would recommend highly.

I needed a room at 11:00 pm after a really bad VRBO experience. I am the trip coordinator for a group of young men who needed a kitchen and spacious layout. What an amazing property! I called to see if we could extend the stay for 2 weeks (cheaper than staying at a VRBO in the area with great amenities), and the office staff was so kind and helpful, but they were booked for the type of room I needed. Perfect property for families!

I used to stay in this hotel four years ago when my daughter went to college and it was great, but when I came this year, the place is not so well kept and the rooms need some updates. It is great location though and good amenities.

Overall, the stay was pleasant. The breakfast was good, and the facilities were clean. Our only issue was a strong fish smell in our room all four days. We think this may have come from another room where the guests were cooking. Even with this, we would consider staying again.

Do not waste your time, this property is dirty, dingy and overall rundown. The maid came to clean and only changed towels, didn't clean anything.

Had to get another room because first one smelled like a wet dog.

Almost every outlet in our rooms was covered by tape. Elevators are nightmare fuel with the shaking and rattling and horror-movie-esque hum. Heat/AC made a rattling squeak all night too

I had a horrible stay. I felt like the staff was watching me and the guests in my room from the time we checked in until the time we left. It made us very uncomfortable. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone and they will never receive my business again.

The staff was truly one of the best we have experienced in a hotel. Everyone was helpful and very nice.

The hotel was clean, nice gym and work out area, the staff was really friendly! They had food and bars in the parking lot (literally) so it was nice to have that option. And breakfast was really good! Overall great stay, the staff and area made the experience even better!

When we returned to our room for our last night, the room had not been cleaned. Beds were not made, and no clean towels left. Trash cans had been emptied, but don’t know if the rest of the cleaning was completed. We’re not particularly nest freaks, but we do make our bed every day!

Breakfast was good, not a lot of options but tasty. The suite was perfect for our family of 5 comfy and roomy. The bathrooms had some pink mold in the tub/ shower area. 3 out of the 5 dishes we grabbed to use were dirty. The staff is always so welcoming and nice.

Everything was perfect. I needed an 11th hour hotel room due to a plumbing problem at home, and I could not have been more thankful.

From the moment we walked into the room until we checked out, everyone was incredibly helpful and very friendly, the place was immaculate and had every thing we could possibly need to have a wonderful day. It was hands-down, the nicest hotel we have stayed at in Buffalo and we will be back again!

Room was clean and spacious. Kitchen utensils were limited - could have used a spatula to flip a grilled cheese sandwich. Also an extra spoon or fork might have been nice, but overall very nice facility. Breakfast was great - lots of choices, along with clean tables

Excellent stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quiet. My only complaint is that the coffee maker was broken and made quite the mess when trying to brew some.

This hotel is always clean and the staff are very helpful, especially Marz, who is very kind and solution-oriented. The rooms, however, can use some updating. My curtain was hanging and partly broken, and various scratch marks on the baseboards that needed to be painted.

Hotel location was great, however our room had a very foul odor. We were there just for the night, but didn’t enjoy the experience at all.

The room was spacious and well kept. There was kitchenware included with the kitchenette for easy use and they gave you dish soap and a dishwasher tab for use if needed as well. The rooms were quite sound proof. The people next to us had a dog and you couldn’t hear barking through the walls, even when you could in the hallway. The bed was comfy and the air conditioning worked like a charm on a really hot weekend. The continental breakfast was delicious and had a lot of options. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely go again!

The staff were welcoming and helpful. They made a hotel feel like home! The meals weee delicious and filling. The rooms were clean and I was surprised to find that there was daily maid service. My only complaint is about the pool. It needs serviced. It smelled of algae and indeed had algae in it in areas.

My go to place when visiting UB!

We booked this hotel for 2 nights for 6 people , note that the rate for 2 nights was 840 ish dollars. We got a suit with 2 twin beds, barely enough for 4 people let alone 6. The staff did give us a couple of extra comforters.This hotel carpets were dirty and the hotel does not represent any 3 star IGH hotels.

Nice and cozy

It was okay. Only one of two elevators were working and they needed a fan inside them. Very hot! The one working elevator would make a frightening noise and shake when coming to a stop. The elliptical exercise machine in the fitness room was extremely noisy.

The hallways and elevators were not air conditioned. The furniture in the room was worn and had some stairs. I was surprised at these conditions given the price that we were charged. I would not stay again.

Everyone was so nice and helpful in telling us places to go. The food and wine they had several nights was delicious and breakfast was outstanding!

Not a clean place. Shabby carpet, women out furniture, fluffy paint at some places in the bathroom. Cleaning person just changed bed sheets for my stay for the level of cleanliness in the room. Breakfast was nice. Staff really put in an effort for the breakfast for the guests. The staff was helpful but the hotel room was bad

I had a very disappointing stay at Staybridge Suites Buffalo-Amherst. The room was in unacceptable condition, with visible rust and dirt inside the refrigerator, a stained and unclean toilet, a greasy stovetop, a damaged refrigerator vent, and a filthy garbage disposal unit. I have attached pictures to prove this. When I raised these concerns at the front desk, the staff member (possibly named Kathy or Kelly) was extremely rude and dismissive. She said things like “I don’t build hotel walls, I can’t do anything,” showing no willingness to help or even acknowledge the poor state of the room. I booked this stay through Expedia, trusting the quality assurance usually associated with their platform, but this experience fell far below expectations. It’s unacceptable to provide rooms that are clearly not sanitary or fit for occupancy. I do not recommend this hotel. Poor hygiene, worse customer service, and a management team that clearly doesn’t care about guest experience.

Great breakfast, clean, and super friendly staff!

Room was a bit worn. Could use a deep clean. We had a suite with a kitchen. Dishes were dirty. Curtains were falling. Lots of grease markings on the cabinets. Place could use a good refresh. However, the front desk people were great, the ease of location was good, and it was very quiet.

The staff was supportive the room smell like smoke and they accommodating me and put me in a new room. I like as they have free breakfast and a snack for dinner plus the washer and dryer was free. The parking was limited.

They have cookies at the desk and meals a few nights a week.

Everything was great until the pool. It was freezing and "not so clean". The room was great except the handle to the fridge was broken but still functional and we couldnt get the heat to work at all, so theres that. The people were super friendly and breakfast was great.

The staff, from check-in/check-out, are always welcoming, friendly and helpful with any of our questions or needs.

we got a 3 bed room, once we got in the room, one bathroom toilet was plugged, the master bed had blood stains on the pad, and in the morning, there was 2 bathrooms in which only 1 shower worked, the other had no water, for $440 for the night, I will never stay at this place again.

Absolutely love this hotel and front desk staff. Beautiful Christmas decor made for a delightful holiday 9-day stay. Breakfast buffet is fantastic, and there are many eateries in walking distance. This hotel is located in a convenient plaza area that is perfect for a pleasant short walk in the evening, even when it’s cold or rainy. The hotel has a social hour Mon-Wed. This is our second stay for the holiday season. We will be back!

Very clean, decorated beautifully for the holidays and conveniently located to many dining options. Staff, especially Linda, were very friendly and helpful. More than likely, we will stay again once our daughter returns from deployment.

A separate bedroom area and a full size fridge

I purposely try to stay at this hotel every time I'm in the greater Buffalo area. Everything I need is included at this hotel and it's a home away from home when traveling with kids.

Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Truly enjoyed her fun and positive attitude! She set the tone for our stay. Accommodations were clean and maintained.

We stayed 2 nights in the 2 bedroom suite, which was very comfortable, with a separate sitting area & kitchen. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had a good variety.

The hotel is fine. Does not have USB ports though. Convenient if you are visiting UB campus.

The rooms are comfortable and adequate - nothing special and a bit tired looking. But our needs were met and the area very convenient.

The staff were all really wonderful and helpful. When our first room had a powerful perfume scent - it smelled like the last tenants sprayed half a bottle of perfume in the room and it lingered for several hours - the staff were quick to change our room, without issue! The room was clean and well laid out. The only things that could have been better were the blinds (can't cover the windows) and TV options (having access to streaming services would have been nice).

The bed was comfortable, and the area where the hotel is located has lots of restaurants available within walking distance. We didn't get to go to the pool this time, but we spent a lot of time outside near the fireplace to keep ourselves nice and toasty. I highly recommend choosing to stay here; believe me, you won't regret it.

I visit the area often and always stay at the Staybridge. I have always had a wonderful experience. Everyone is friendly and very helpful. The food is good the rooms are excellent!!! I definitely recommend staying at the hotel.

Our room seemed dirty, none of the drains would drain. From taking a shower or washing our hands the tub and or sink woudl fill up with water. This was our second time staying here, nothing like the first time. 1 year made a huge difference in the cleaniness and wear and tear.

We were only there for a few hours so I did not want to make a fuss. We were literally in Buffalo less then 20 hours. All I really needed was a bed for a few hours. I believe if we were to be there longer, it would have bothered me.

We stayed here when we came to see Niagara Falls, and we enjoyed it very much. This was probably one of the best places we have ever stayed. The facilities were excellent, breakfast was great with a good selection, and the staff was wonderful.

The hotel was Ok, breakfast was good enough, staff were kind and helpful. The down side was the room service, we stayed 3 nights Friday to Monday and they said they are not doing room service during weekends, which wasn’t nice for 6 people staying in a suite.
