First floor was under construction. They set off the fire alarms at 8 am Saturday morning. Work men all over the hallways. When we arrived they didn’t have the room we reserved with a king bed. Told us they only had a room with queen beds. We were not happy. The receptionist told us the guest laundry was closed and offered no alternatives. The receptionist the following day gave us a preprinted sheet with local laundromats.

Experience was good. Pool nice and clean, plenty of pool towels, hot tub was good also. Breakfast had plenty of options for adults, not very many kid options though. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious to accommodate a larger family.

Arrived to learn hotel had no running water, boiler offline. Not able to wash hands, flush toilets, etc. Pool was also out of service. Assigned room that was significantly outdated - sagging mattress, broken shower head, beat up furniture. Changed to different room. Front desk staff were indifferent about issues because I booked through Expedia.

The room was quite large, but basic, however, it was very clean. As soon as you walk in, there was a little kitchenette and then you came into a sitting area and then the bed. Just to the side of the bed with the sink and closet area. The toilet and shower were in an enclosed area. Reception at this hotel wasn’t the most welcoming. I arrived late at night, just after 1 AM and no one was at the reception desk. There was a man sitting in the breakfast area who called over to say that he is in the back. Once he came finally came out from the back there wasn’t much of a greeting. I would return to this hotel only because it’s in a convenient location. However, if you’re travelling with the family, these rooms would be good.

Overall this was a lovely hotel. We were in Room 119 and there was constant knocking not entirely where from. The mattress was definitely old and had seen better days. The kitchenette was lovely and well stocked with everything you’d need to make a meal.

Otherwise wonderful. Grumble, grumble.

Had a great stay! Loved the room, very spacious! Veronica who was at the front desk each night was amazing! So sweet and helpful! The location was great; central to everything I needed. As a woman traveling alone, I felt comfortable and safe!

My husband appreciated the fitness center, and we all enjoyed the outdoor amenities — the grills, basketball court, corn hole, and lounge seating made it easy to relax and have fun together. The room wasn’t perfectly pristine — the bathroom tiles and carpet could use a deep clean — but overall it was comfortable for our stay.

the breakfast was terrible couple of days old pulled pork for breakfast everyone don't eat pork so chicken or turkey sausage should have been an option. the reception on wed was nice I ask for other type of meat the truck didn't come until thursday so we waited nothing different canadian bacon still pork Hilton homewood suites please do better on the breakfast, thank god for Bob evans restaurant on the last day which was one mile away guest told us about on the last day thank you Bob evans

My stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton Buffalo/Amherst was wonderful. The suite was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location made it easy to get around the area.I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it.

My stay was good. There’s 2 things I would say needs improvement. 1. Little dirty or stained. But more importantly 2. Not enough variety for breakfast. It was the exact same make your own breakfast burrito 4 morning in a row besides switching up the protein & potato.

We were close to the hospital. We were in the area because family is in the hospital. The suite was spacious and had everything we needed.

It's a great place for a family vacation. It has everything you need for fun and dining. The room is clean, comfortable and quiet. Having a comfortable bed to sleep on is very important. I love everything about this place.

Great place for the family buffet breakfast was pretty good but overall we enjoyed our stay there!

When the room is only appointed to accommodate 4 people, it should not advertise 5. The hotel stated they have cots, but when a cot is requested it was unavailable. That information should be disclosed at the time of reservation. I still paid for accommodations for 5. First come first serve is a buffet tag line, it shouldn’t be for lodging with a reservation. 0-5 stars, won’t stay again.

My son loved the room because we had a kitchen, living rm bedroom and a bathroom that was clean, organized and welcoming. Thank you.

We r both hdcp and we were given a hdcp room 219 that was so far from the lobby my wife couldnt make breakfast each day due to the walk. Parking was in the back near the room. The main thing was the lobby

Check-in was smooth but had issue with bathroom door handle which was broken and flush not working. Poor experience.

Clean and staff was very friendly they even sent me a text message to see if everything was okay and if I was enjoying my stay well definitely recommend and I would stay there again!!!

Friendly staff, air conditioner was not working but they offered to repair although had trouble finding another one so we decided to move to another room which was fine. Found a hair in the bathroom in both rooms. Hotel is a bit run down and probably needs a remodeling soon. The free breakfast had small selection but good quality. Breakfast staff was very attentive and hard working. The staff even noticed someone taking food with their hands and immediately told them to use utensils. Pool was great and the gym is very clean. Overall the stay was nice but the hotel does not some updating.

Exactly what I was looking for

Staff was very pleasant. The pool was nice. Fitness room had great supplies (complimentary headphones). Parking was great! My only complaint is there was some small wear and tear at the property, but great otherwise!

Hotel is outdated. Doesnt really meet Hilton standards Was unable to use the app to check in. Only booked the hotel because of the whirlpool Got into the pool room only to find whirlpool was broken and not being fixed anytime soon. No sign saying it was broken. Guest were still in it. So literally they were sitting in someone's warm bath water because it wasnt filtering. 1 bedroom suite looked like it seen better days. Paint chipping on my door Stained carpet Breakfast was frozen french toast sticks and fake bacon, aka round sausage bacon. Nothing worth the price of the hotel

Great place to stay. Conveniently located right off the highway on the outskirts of the city. Plenty of restaurants, gyms and activities all within 15 minutes drive. Niagara Falls is less than a half hour away. Clean and well maintained with plenty of parking and friendly, capable staff. I’ll be back!!!

But this place so we clean you can smell the fresh scent in the air, from the walk into the hotel front desk and it smelled even more cleaner in my hotel room ! Breakfast was open early because there was a hockey team staying. We also had to leave by 7am for a cheerleading competition so that was convenient. The receptionist that checked me in seemed to have been in training and did wonderful. I also enjoyed that the hotel would text me and ask if I needed anything/how my stay was. My only negative comment was the lack of supervision at the pool. Not necessarily the hotels' fault, but when my 5 and 9 year old wanted to swim we had to leave the pool early because of multiple unsupervised 10–15 year olds that continued to jump in the pool, splash, and use derogatory language. We went back later that day, and the same unsupervised group was in the pool. Eventually a staff member came in and told them to stop jumping but it was not questioned why they were solo at the pool.

Excellent customer service, greeted is with a warm smile, very knowledgeable, friendly advice/conversations/provided a welcome gift/gave excellent directions around the property to help us navigate. Moreover, followed up with us to ask "How did you enjoy your room? Is everything okay with you room?" She waited & listened to our concerns. Then, provided her expertise of what our next steps would be. Overall, excellent check-in experience.

We celebrated a late Christmas with our grandchildren and children and would stay here again. The only issue we encountered is the indoor pool was heavily chlorinated which caused coughing for those swimming. For others watching from the sidelines it was irritating to eyes.

Room was nice and clean. Pretty big room with a nice living area. Closet door missing in bedroom which should probably be replaced. Decent breakfast with a breakfast burrito bar and pastries. Nothing to crazy but decent. Safe neighborhood and good location. Would definitely stay here again. Front staff were super helpful when recommending places to eat and a great donut shop called Paula's!

Rooms are spacious and equipped with some things you can use beds are very uncomfortable and one of our TV’s was broken had to reprogram every time we turned it on complain to manager after two days tv was replaced on third day we were there for 4 days
