The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. The room was comfortable and had good amenities. Three areas are in need of improvement. I didn't feel the bedding was fresh. It had a hint of a smell. Body lotion should be included and the quality of the hot breakfast items needs improvement.

I stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Buffalo/Amherst/University for 8 days and 7 nights. The weekend nights were a little loud with kids roaming the halls late into the night, but this is not uncommon at most hotels, and I have great earplugs for sleep. I did not have the breakfast once while I was there, so I cannot review it. The parking was great, and I was able to park very close to the hotel the entire week. The location of the hotel is great and central to shopping and dining, and even the airport. I had the room cleaned once while I was there and thought it was odd that they removed a few extra towels that I'd had and didn't replace them. I felt very safe in the location which was pretty much on campus. During the week, the halls were quiet. The staff at the registration desk were always friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

We booked a suite months prior and at check- in which was an hour after check- in started, we were told our room wasn’t ready. We could wait 30 minutes for them to clean it. The excuse was they had many check-outs that morning and hadn’t gotten to the suites yet.

Right on the college campus, this property is very quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is in a perfect location clean, comfortable, and simply amazing. The staff were outstanding, with a special thanks to Maleeka at reception for being so kind, polite, and helpful. I would definitely return and stay at the same hotel again.

Marriott properties are very consistent; very clean, the rooms are up-to-date and staff are friendly and efficient.

Loved the parking space, cleanliness and staff. Breakfast options were quite good but repetitive and monotonous. Also, they only clean once a week - bed and vaccum. However, you can request towel change, coffee, tissues and toilet supplies as needed.

When you booked a Fairfield and you think you’re getting a Marriott. Mold growing in the bathroom., no daily housekeeping service. I hem asked about clean towels I was putting them out. Would not recommend

Spacious room, nice bathroom. The only thing I didn't like was the temperature control for the room.

The bed was very hard. The shower door could have been cleaned better. Bathroom wall paper by the shower was lifting up. The customer service at front desk was very nice and friendly. Overall the room was clean.

However, the air conditioning in our room was rather noisy. We seemed to become accustomed to the sound after a day. Additionally, there were some stains on one of the bed sheets and a pillow. Upon informing the housekeeping staff, they promptly replaced them for us. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

My stay was 12 nights. The room was servied every other day. No clean bedding in 12 days. Some towels were folded and reused. Other towels were replaced. There were very small bugs in the bathroom on the floor that i killed.

It was friendly and comfortable. Nice breakfast the attendant was very attentive. We stayed 2 days. Only complain was there was no housekeeping services.

The pool was dirty. The hot tub was broken. The gym was nice. The breakfast buffet had no food left when we arrived. The room was clean and bright. Room was not serviced on a 2 day stay. Bed was not made. Towels were not replaced.

Exactly as advertised. Clean, easy to book and check-in. Staff was helpful. There were a couple amenities that were unavailable or temporarily out of order, but nothing important to us. Hotel is at the end of a No Outlet road, making for less people traffic and a safer experience. Would stay here again.

Stay was good but we couldn’t get breakfast in the morning as it was available till 9 AM on weekdays though on weekends it was available till 10 AM. It should be either 9 AM or 10 AM on all days shouldn’t be different timings on weekdays and weekends… trvallers are not aware and due to this confusion their schedule can be disturbed

Clean and good rooms, calm and great location , about 30 mins drive from Niagara. Expected a wider range of buffet breakfast (i did not get bread, there were only bagel available, no chicken option )

This is a beautiful Fairfield Inn and Suites, by Marriott. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful; they try to help with all your desires. The rooms are comfortable and very clean the bed was comfortable amd all the linens were clean, fresh and white. The morning breakfast had many healthy choices. I also enjoyed using the swimming pool diring my 7 night stay. Thank you, Marriot.

Quiet and clean hotel!

The rooms are really good and clean. Breakfast buffet is very underwhelming with unripe bananas and limited options.

The hotel was clean and the complimentary breakfast was nice with different hot and cold options. The location was also great as it was not far from the places we visited.

Hotel was clean, but our room had a foot stool that hadn’t been moved and had trash under and behind it. Breakfast was super minimal, very little variety. Hot tub was closed the entire time and pool got closed halfway through our stay

Excellent property to stay with family

We were on the ground floor I suspect because we arrived late. Hotel allows pets and in the early hours we were awoken to a dog barking in a nearby room. Personally not a fan of allowing pets in hotels.

When checking in the gentleman at the front desk had zero personality and was very short with us. When we got into our room our AC was making a very loud noise when we investigated it there was Raman/ noodles in it. We tried to get ice but all the machines were broken, the pool was green and the hottub was broken.

Great location, nice / helpful staff, and clean all around with updated bathroom. Very peaceful stay, nice staff & people staying were quiet & respectful. Great value and will definitely stay again. 1 min drive away from Univ of Buffalo north campus which we were touring and close to highway etc. Short drive to stores / restaurants but that was fine. Breakfast was fine / quick type but worked well for us to grab / self serve type which we preferred over waiting for slow wait staff during rush. Breakfast included staples like oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs/ scrambled, waffles, sausage, toast/ English muffin, coffee/ tea, juice, etc.

Everything is great - clean, beautiful hotel. The only negative at the moment is that the pool is under renovation.

Typical Fairfield - comfortable and clean. All the workers I encountered were always pleasant and helpful.

As I checked in they said the pool/hot tub were out of use - though I could use the one at the hotel across the street (in a snowstorm?) I couldn't connect to the wifi and was given a helpline number to call myself - spent 45 minutes getting connected. Then when checking out the next day opened up the fridge to remove my food to discover that it wasn't actually running - and my food was spoiled. The front desk said they couldn't give me any kind of refund because I had booked through a third party site - but offered me membership points (though I'm not a member and this experience wasn't exactly an advertisement for signing up). Disappointing on many levels

We were in town for a Buffalo Bills game. It was very snowy and the parking lot was well plowed. My only issue was the TV didn't have the channels correspond to the guide. I was unable to locate local news r Spectrum YNN. Kind of a quirky problem with the service. Otherwise, my stay was very enjoyable.

Reasonable hotel but the pool/hot tub were not operating. Would have been good to know that! One of the reasons for selecting this hotel. Should notify people upon registration.

Comfortable stay , clean room , comfortable bed , quiet , great and clean breakfast

but inconsistent in quality. Unfortunately, the pool was not available, which is something we were relying on to occupy the kids and the room HVAC system is terrible. We had to leave one room because it broke and the other room was difficult to keep a consistent temp.

The area was clean and quiet, however having only one towel for two people in the room was not ideal.

Great location, great staff, good workout facilities…my only issue was there was a problem with the cable tv where the channels didn’t not align with the actual stations…made it difficult to check out the local news…I hope its fixed by th weekend

I have stayed at this hotel before, and the conditions weren't such as these. Because I secured the reservation through a third party vendor, they charge you a $20 incidental fee. I've had these waived before, but not this time. The hotel rep said he wouldn't charge my card just have it on file, but charged it anyway. The breakfast sucked, eggs were salty, bacon was like chewing on shoelaces, and the bagels were at least a day old and stale - I mean c'mon, is it a tragedy have a decent breakfast.

When we needed something, no matter the time, they delivered.

The hotel is fairly new the beds are extremely clean and comfortable. The rooms are large with modern conveniences. The bathrooms are large and well lite. The morning breakfast is awesome, something for everyone.

- The front desk guy went so fast that he literally charged me TWICE in addition to the fact that I had paid in advance. - There is no phone number on the invoice for me to call Fairfield to fix this overcharge. - in the room, the curtains were broken - The TV movie streaming did not work. I spent 20 minutes with an overseas help desk and they could not help, said the hotel had to fix it. It was not fixed. - the shower was big, but full of MOLD. Gross! - the carpet was dirty. Gross! - air conditioner was very noisy when it turned on. - Noises from other rooms (I think upstairs) were SO loud. Pro: - the high-speed internet that I had to PAY for worked well. - I also liked the late check-out. - Bed was very comfortable

Checking in went well but getting cleaning services was horrible. We were there for a week and the room was half service 1 time and that’s after me asking if the room would get service. I was very disappointed with this Marriott location

I like the hotel it was nice and clean but the pool and the pool area needs a major upgrading rusted poles hot tub was broken bottom of the pool color was changing if tour looking for a place for some good sleep this is the place minus the pooli give this place ☆☆☆

The breakfast was from 6-9am and we arrived close to 7:30 and decided to go to Tim Horton’s since many items needed to be replenished. Overall, it was worth the money.

Hotel was ok it met my needs. Tyler at check in was pleasant and welcoming but not one other staff member acknowledged me however after 2 days I was heading out the housekeeping staff said good morning. Housekeeping staff in plain clothes not in uniform!? I did not take advantage of breakfast because it ended at 9am- too early for me. 9:30 or 10:00 would be better!! Towels a bit thin. Surprised no one cleaned/ made beds daily. I know they don’t change linens daily but I expected garbage changed and beds to be made?? Refresh towels if needed.

Clean safe hotel but unfortunately had to make multiple trips to the front desk for missing items such as bedding, wash cloths, and shampoo. Also, there were doors slamming downstairs at 12:30am. Would have expected the room to be better stocked for $200/night.

Everything was as i expected. Will return.
