Easy to find, convenient location to SUNY Buffalo right across the street. Lower price than other nearby hotels. Rooms were dated. I found the bed to be uncomfortably firm (although my partner did not mind it). The hotel felt stuffy on a warm and humid day outside.

Out unit would have been improved if a towel rack had been installed close to the bathroom sink. All in all though it was a good place for our 6-day stay.

Rooms are very outdated and falling apart. Smells from the halways and room A/C unit, very unpleasant. Tiles in bathroom were missing large sections of grout. We decided to check pool. Luckily, we did not suit up. Pool was disgusting. Scum on the bottom made our minds up about that choice. Breakfast was not horrible. Found enough choices to tide one over. Would I recommend this establishment? No, I would not. Room#227 FYI.

Check in was great the lady was really nice and helpful, I would give her a definite 5***** The hotel is tired and brown.... The room looked presentable enough but could've done with a deep clean, there were things/areas that hadn't seen a clean in what looked like years. I had forgotten my slippers and my white sock bottoms won't be seeing white again any time soon. The toilet was loud when you flushed it and I mean LOUD - lol The bathroom fan was also loud, one of the loudest I've ever heard. The a/c worked good and the fridge had a freezer section which is great for your ice packs. The safe wasn't working. Breakfast was good, however I'm a celiac vegetarian so I always take my own cereal, there were yoghurts and bananas but nothing else I could eat. The lady in charge of the breakfast room kept everything so clean and was constantly cleaning and tidying up, I would give her 5***** On check out a different lady was talking on the phone, she could see that we were there but made no eye contact or smiled - no acknowledgment at all, we just left the keycards on the desk and walked out. I would give her 0***** Our stay was nice and quiet and the outside was kept nice, all in all good value for money, not the best but not the worst we've ever stayed at.

We were greeted very warmly and given a room that made it convenient for us to easily move in our "stuff". There were nearby restaurants open till 11pm, which was nice because we checked in after 9pm. Perfect stop on our road trip!

Convenient location and a straightforward check in process. The hot complementary breakfast was a plus. It needed a little refurbishment of the elevator and the picnic table.

A small and economical choice, nothing fancy, but clean, friendly helpful staff. Very small pool, but it was clean, warm and quiet.

I had a clean room and a comfortable bed, good hot shower, and the exit on my wing lead directly to where I parked my car. If I could provide some feedback unsure if related to the hotel, the driveway leading up to it was feeling quite rough. About the hotel itself? I had no issues. Breakfast was great. There was a pool and fitness room I did not use personally, yet were on the smaller side, so be mindful of time spent as a guest!

After leaving one nasty hotel (The Buffalo Airport Hotel) and arriving here, I had very low standards. Even those low standards could not be met. White stains on the headboards, the room smelled so bad of mildew and I think they haven't touched these rooms since it was built. We stayed one out of the 3 planned nights and ran to the nearest Hampton Inn. Spend the extra money in this area, you will not regret it!

This property needs a lot of TLC. I was on the 3rd floor and the standard of the room was in desperate need of being refurbished.

Last 4 years I’ve frequently stayed this hotel since my son in UB. Room carpet was found very filthy & dirty. I’ve chosen this hotel because close to north campus. No improvement been seen in the property and room. I will not recommend anyone to stay here.

Raj at the front desk went above and beyond to help me during our stay. We had mistakenly not realized our booking was for one night and not two. My wife and I were across the border visiting our son and the hotel could not reach us to correct. Raj remembered me from checking in as I was distressed after forgetting a passport. She took it upon herself to intervene with the manager and extend our room and leave our items and dog in the room. She was a lifesaver and we really appreciated the kindness.

The breakfast was horrible. One two three check-in but I was given a room on the first floor…it smelled like pure cigarettes. So I went back to the front desk…staff immediately switched my room to the second floor, which was a little better. Very polite staff! Would I stay there again?…probably not!

Old-fashioned decor with a very tired look - carpet and armchair are old and not clean. Bathroom cleanness is fair but could need some updating. Bedsheets are clean but mattress is not comfy. AC unit and bathroom air vent are super loud. Won’t stay again

Professional staff

A smoke alarm battery went off at night and when I called front desk from my room, the connection was not good and the staff member couldn’t hear me. I had to go downstairs to tell her. It took about an hour for the beeping to stop. The next morning she said she had just taken it off the wall?! There are 2 other hotels in the immediate vicinity right near UB North campus. I’d stay at one of those instead.

Room was dusty - had the basics (double queen bed, micro, fridge and tv). I usually do a wipe down with sanitizing wipes and both head boards, windowsill and top of tv were dusty/dirty. There were finger prints on the drawer handles and some dirty spots on flat surfaces. Bed was ok, kind of hard. The shower was nice. The breakfast was ok - sausages were dry and the waffles had a rubbery texture. The staff was very nice - front desk and housekeeping were very pleasant. There are also cameras everywhere and the monitor with every single camera view is at the front desk so I did feel safe. Overall I would probably stay here again if necessary just because of how nice the staff was and the feeling of safety.

We were in town for a funeral and checked in very late after a cross-country trip. Upon checking in, the toilet had urine in it, and to me, this signaled that the room had not been cleaned from the previous guest or one of the staff had used the toilet. Either way, we were uncomfortable with that, coupled with the room's condition. I spoke with the manager in the morning, and she was very kind and helpful.

Checking in was easy, staff friendly, free parking a nice perk and many restaurants near by for food, and the room was fine and clean but group of people in next room made so much noise all evening we couldn’t get any sleep. Wish I had asked for another room.

The first room we had smelt of cigarettes horribly. We went and got a second room and that room had moldy curtains. The overall upkeep and cleanliness is so horrible. We were actually told the mold on the curtains was just from the “rain from the windows”. Unacceptable and wouldn’t recommend to anyone with allergies or anyone really.

The only complaint is the beds are not very comfortable for our preferences. I tossed and turned trying to sleep and my wife ended up with some back pain after 3 nights on the bed.

More healthy options would be nice. Better eggs, or even just hard boiled. Skip the syrup heater, it didn't even work, just put out a bottle, or packets. Higher plastic ware and plates would be nice. Trying to cut a waffle with a rubber knife was no picnic.

Staff is very nice - but definitely some issues with this hotel. Our shower had no pressure at all - pretty much a slow trickle of water. Free breakfast is pretty basic, but the coffee is downright awful. I’ve never had worse coffee in my life. I’m not sure what they did - but it is truly hot garbage. I could care less about the quality of the food - but it sucks to wake up and have such crappy coffee. Please fix that at the very least.

The lobby and room had new furniture but the building itself is old. Returned to my room one evening to find the hallway filled with smoke (as in someone was smoking) had to put a towel at the bottom of my door to keep the smell out of my room.

We only the saw the staff at check in. Could barely understand her. Cleaning staff was loud outside of our room in the hall. Rooms need updated. Holes in ceiling tiles, broken toilet seat, peaking paint and wall paper. Just update it.

Additionally, the air conditioner is outdated and extremely loud, disrupting sleep. The bathroom ventilation fan is also very noisy, and since it turns on with the bathroom light, you cannot leave the light on without constant noise. Overall, I had a very poor night’s sleep and did not feel rested.

The room was extremely extremely small. There was a big hole behind the door in the bathroom. They only provided two towels at a time. The bathroom light with vent was extremely loud. Most likely not returned to this hotel. Price was the factor that I chose this one.

This hotel is in a great place being directly across the street from the new bills stadium but this hotel and staff is horrible NEVER AGAIN!!!

As mentioned, service, conditions, comfort, etc were good; very difficult to see entrance to Comfort, and having registered for two rooms under my name, I get one on the 2nd floor, and the other on the 4th floor corner, hearing all highway traffic from Buffalo University…. Will re consider in the future.

The carpeting in our room was terribly dirty. The window curtain was way too long; it hung down over the a/c unit which allowed sunlight to pour in when the unit was running. The breakfast choice was identical everyday of our stay. We expected some variety from day to day.

I requested twice to have the room cleaned and that we needed clean towels. I spoke to the same price twice and she was not pleasant and seemed to annoyed with my request. She informed me the room would be cleaned as requested. We arrived very late the last day of our stay as we had attended a funeral. When my brother checked the room it had not been cleaned nor were we given clean towel. The only saving grace is the young lady working at the front desk after midnight when we arrived. Apologized and offered to bring towels to our room. She went above and beyong to rectify the situation. She apologized because she not tell me the name of the emplyee whom I spoke wth twice. She explained that she was new and did not know everyone's name. She noted that she would inform the manager of my complaint when they arrived. She advised me that someone would be contacting me regarding this matter. It is two weeks later and I am still waiting. I will reach out to your corporate office since a manager has not contacted regarding thi matter

The hotel is very rundown and needs repairs. Our room looked like they attempted to paint it, but mis matched, old and dingy. The shower ceiling looks like it has been leaking for awhile and has mold showing now. Walls were missing paint and patched in places. Rooms are also very small and pacled with furniture, no room to put bags or anything for 4 people. The breakfast was not great. The same things every day and after 3 days it got very old. Soggy waffles, cold sausage and egg patties. We had to leave to eat elsewhere. I can't even see why im giving 2 stars. The staff was nice and parking was ok. Nothing else.

We visited this location for the night after a Bills game. It was decent driving distance from the stadium (25 minutes with traffic), was quiet, and clean. Good little spot for a quick trip.

The staff was friendly and accommodating but the hotel is very dated. It desperately needs to be updated and get rid of the dirty carpets. I immediately began to sneeze.

The hotel is in a good location, convenient to airport, highway, university area, and Niagara Falls. The grounds and public areas were clean and well maintained; staff was friendly. The room was a mixed bag. It was dated- lots of chips in the furniture and paint. The room was overall clean- no stains on the linens, fresh towels, spotless bathroom. But there was a lingering smell of old cigarette smoke and chemicals used to cover that up. The carpet is old and was likely the culprit for that. The room felt damp. If the hotel removed the old carpeting, it would have been a perfect stay.

Hotel room&hallways smelled like curry and there was a drug addict roaming the hallways at times and falling asleep anywhere she could.

It’s a comfort inn, it served its purpose. My issue is they sent 3 emails about maid service on request only, which is obnoxious. Then they proceed to knock on every door on the floor twice at 8am because the maid wants you to leave.

The rooms were clean, but I did notice a couple of stains on the bedsheets, which was a bit of a letdown. We had four people in our room, and it felt a little congested, so it might be a tight squeeze for larger groups. The toiletries were just average, but the breakfast was good and got us ready for the day.They have plenty of parking, so you don't have to worry about finding a spot. Overall, it's not the most luxurious or comfortable place, but it gets the job done for a quick stopover. If you need a place to crash for a night before or after a flight, this hotel is a decent and practical choice.

I picked this hotel for its location. The non -smoking room reeked of smoke trapped in the old carpeting.

I was in a handicapped room and the floor in the bathroom had deep grooves and divots in it. The floor in the shower was slick when wet and I fell. The grab bars were poorly spaced. The hair dryer sparked, began smoking and then died the first night and no one came to fix it while I was there for 4 nights.

Housekeeping doesn't notice these things. It's as if no one cares. First and likely last time staying at a Comfort Inn (it wasn't really comfortable).

I found my room to be clean and comfortable with all the things to make your stay go smoothly. Wifi, nice large TV with lots of channels, comfy mattress, and great breakfast selection too. I did not make use of this but there is a nice wooded picnic area near the hotel.

Well it was an ok stay. The room had a weird smell nothing that lots of Febreeze didn’t help. Our room was on the second floor right above the side entrance. It was really annoying when people were outside at 12:30 am yelling, my sleep was disturbed two nights in a row. Breakfast was ok, fried eggs and sausage everyday, but it was free. It was an ok stay, but I think I will look someplace else next time. We had housekeeping one day for 5 nights but all we got were clean towels they didn’t make or change the bed. The bed was ok except the bed pad must have been for a double bed and we had a king bed so needless to say we slept on a lump all night also the comforter had the same issue except that seemed like it might have been for a queen bed rather than a king bed.

I didn't like a big stain on my sheets, even though the linens were clean. I feel Comfort inn needs to clean rooms every day. I feel they are taking advantage of COVID period to cut back on that. I never saw the first cleaning person, to even ask for clean towels and garbage removal.

This Comfort Inn is run like a five star hotel. The staff are extremely kind and helpful. The beds are very cozy and comfortable. The linens are fresh fluffy a d white. The pool although small is kept in great shape. I enjoyed may stays here all summer ☀️ long. Thank you 😊

Parking was good. Location convenient to dropping my son off at college. Near the parkway. Near several restaurants and shopping. Interior very dated. Bathroom needed better cleaning. No usb outlets in the room or lobby.

This Comfort Inn is well maintained and operates as a fine tuned place to relax. The beds are very comfortable and the linens fresh and white. The bathroom is well stcked with fresh, fluffy white towels. The morning breakfast has a good variety of choices. Thw swimming pool is clean and enjoyable. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

The other reviews are true. This hotel is a must to stay at if you are visiting the North Buffalo area. Their rates are reasonable. The staff is super friendly and genuine. The rooms accommodate exactly as advertised, and are clean. And the complimentary breakfast is better than you'd expect. Next time I need a room in the WNY area, I will look to return here.

Good value for the money, refreshing lemon water in the lobby, hot breakfast was INCREDIBLE, friendly, personable and helpful staff. Pool was a little small though, other than that, everything was on point!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help with a smile. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the little details thought of. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed, yet quiet enough to relax. I especially enjoyed the breakfast, which had a great variety and was fresh every morning. Overall, the service and atmosphere made me feel truly cared for, and I’ll definitely be coming back on my next trip.

Bad experience for dryer

Dated hotel that has seen better days. Smaller room with 2 queen beds seemed cramped at times, and the bathroom was a little tight as well. On the plus side, it was the cheapest one with 2 queen beds, but you get what you pay for.

The staff at the front desk are all great, the outside & lobby were nice. That’s where it ends. The elevator was broken, the rooms were shabby and not clean. I was shocked at the fees & taxes, I realize the hotel can’t do anything about that but a room with 2 full beds for 2 nights came to almost $420. Quite honestly I wouldn’t stay there again if you paid for it.

The elevator has been out of service for a while, and we got a room on the 4th floor even though my wife has a knee problem. The bathtub was clogged although the fixed the on the following day, but the bathroom was not very clean and the room smelled funny. We called the front desk for extra towels and soap, but the staff told us we had go downstairs and get them ourselves. The house’s keeping staff was very loud early in the morning. Definitely not a good stay; would not recommend.

I was very upset as the elevator was not working. We had to climb up 2 floors several times. My husband recently had surgery so this was awful

We stayed one night at this hotel. Staff was very nice and friendly, lady at the reception was super nice. Also, the rooms were clean. However, the rooms smelt musty. The halls smelt weed. The breakfast was decent, nothing extra but satisfactory. I believe the hotel needs a renovation, it looks very old.

The convenience of the property was countered by the inconvenience of the hotels maintenance issues. The elevator was down, the doorknobs leading to the stairwell were falling off, and I cut my foot on something sharp in the pool.

Great, quiet, comfortable, clean room. Hotel was in a bit of an out-of-the-way location but that was what we were looking for, as we knew it would mean a better price, a quieter hotel and a better night's sleep.

The elevator is not working. Although, the hotel staff are friendly and amazing. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The beds are comfortable, and all th linens are clean, white,and fluffy. I enjoyed swimming in the pool. The morning breakfast is delicious! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Excellent stay at Comfort Inn University. The rooms were spotless, the facilities were well-maintained, and the staff provided outstanding service. The location felt safe, quiet, and convenient, with easy parking and plenty of nearby dining options. Highly recommended for a comfortable and hassle-free experience.

The elevator was broke down

What universe is it ok to put a 64 & 67 year old on the 4th floor and say " sorry, the elevator isn't working". We stayed 3 nights and every time we left our room, we had to climb back up to the 4th floor. No one ever offered to move us.

Front desk staff were very accommodating and smiled the whole time

The elevator was broken, and no repair was taking place. Our room had holes in the walls, furniture was very old and outdated, room smelled like it was a smoking room prior and the carpets needed to be removed. The shower facet leaked. Positives, the AC worked well and was not loud. The bed was old and the springs made noice when turning but not too uncomfortable.

The breakfast is very good. The bed is clean.

I should have been informed about this before check in. No shampoo in the dispenser in the room.

We enjoyed everything about the property except for the sitting area in the breakfast bar, ITS WAY TOO SMALL, you need more seating to accommodate all the guest and their children, please utilize your conference room for overflow so people can eat the wonderful free breakfast,,4 or 5 tables would really help ,the chairs are already there ,one should not have to retreat to their room to eat. Thank you, we had a wonderful stay!

Staff was pleasant and free breakfast was good. It was clean, a little dated. Broken elevator was very unfortunate but staff did help with the bags.

The elevator is broken, and had BEEN broken for MONTHS !!!!! I was NOT made aware of this until i checked in....i have a HARD time climbing steps, i come there often, and will NOT stay again, i feel i should have been offered a discount, or a COMPED room !!!!

Could use updates, elevator wasn't working, vendinh machines. Black lady that works on breakfast area talking bad about how people leaves a mess with other coworker. Indu lady at front desk night shift asked her for towels and we never got them.
