    This is the most disgusting, filthy, run down hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The floors, walls, and bedding was absolutely filthy. The sink had fallen from the bathroom vanity and there was a 2” gap where you couldn’t even turn the water on without the water going on the floor. Big ole clumps of hair all over the shower walls. Checked in carried all luggage to room to stay 2 nights and as soon as I saw how dirty the room was went to check right back out and they wouldn’t refund me the $305 spent to book for 2 nights. Please see pictures and they don’t even show the extremes of how dirty this place is. La Quinta should be ashamed of this location and having their name attached to it. Stayers beware of this one!!!!

    This is not what I would call a typical La Quinta property. Looks like they might be getting ready to refurbish it by all of the container boxes in the small parking lot. Our bathroom has serious stains in the bottom of the tub (huge orange) The duvet covers both had lots of stains. No garbage can in the room or the bathroom?!! The bathroom did not have a fan for showering or other things. The lighting for the sink area was more like mood lighting. Outside the cement stairs were decrepit and some had even been replaced with wooden steps that were at different heights!!! Just a NOT for La Quinta don’t stay here if you can afford it. The pictures are not from this place.

    Room that was confirmed at booking not available when arrived, given one bed for two guest. Broken toilet, open sewer line coming out of wall in room,plugged bathtub drain, roaches, many safety an health hazards, No parking available due to excess 40 ft containers.!, Do not bring children, very unsafe in rooms and outside areas of building.

    Omg, worse hotel ever! The room was completely filthy, the sheets and comforter were stained with God knows what! The closest was unusable, the pole was broken! The bathtub was stained and rusted, had to stand on a towel to take a shower! The shower curtain was from the ‘80s and hadn’t been changed since then, was moldy and disgusting! Do not waste your money and stay there, never again LaQuinta 😡

    I've stayed in impoverished countries abroad and this place is disgusting. I asked to be transferred or a refund and no compensation or transfer to the other LaQuintas in Amarillo. I have pictures and Jay the desk manager and Laquinta cust service refused help. I called Amarillo city inspectors over pools and inspections and let them know the pool wax like dirty toilet water w no chemicals at proper levels and unsafe to swim in and super cloudy and milky looking. It was so bad I left a day early and will never stay at LaQuinta again and Jay at the front desk was rude and was like tough luck, deal w it so I am. They offered services but made no effort to have adequate staff. Even soap dispensers for showers empty. Don't ever go.

    Stay away from this hotel! It looks NOTHING like the pictures and it’s in a bad area! I booked it while we were on the road just to sleep a couple of hours because it looked decent but once we arrived we were shocked! We were hauling another vehicle and they had shipping containers on the whole side parking spots so there was no where for us to park. When I went to check in I let them know and if they could just cancel it so I could go look else where and the manager pretended he would help. He made me wait an hour just to offer for us to park behind the Waffle House. I let him know I was not comfortable with that and he just said he couldn’t cancel it. Customer Service with Hotels.com tried to get it refunded but the hotel again did not approve it because “the parking was not far”. The area is very sketchy and we should not have to park our vehicles in a different property! We never checked in or even saw the room, but from the looks of the outside, they were probably just as bad on the inside! The front desk girl was very helpful and tried to assist the best she could, it was the manager who was the issue!

    Building and grounds were in need of minor repairs due to age and use. Room was recently remodeled. There were two refrigerators in the room. One was a regular size for home use the other was the smaller version found in motel rooms. Some of the plumbing was exposed in the living area probably due to remodel. The room was quiet and comfortable. Price was fair.

    You can expect horrible customer service at check in but very nice at check out. The place is disgusting. A ton of mold in the bathroom. The bathtub had mold and build up. The doors to the bathroom look like years of filth buildup. All around GROSS. You will get better sleep in the back seat of your car.

    The place was falling apart at the seems. The new girl at the front desk was nice and helpful, but I have since noticed that they kept the $50 deposit, despite the fact that we left the room spotless and it had a TV that didn't work, plus no batteries in the remote. On our way back to the front office to address these issues, we heard screaming from another room that sounded to us like a domestic violence situation. We did notify the staff of this, but sadly I do not think anything was done about it and we could not identify which room exactly to follow up ourselves. The beds were hard as rocks, and the bathroom was dusty and clearly not maintained. We both woke up sore the next morning. After feeling like the management disregarded us, robbed me of the $50, and the overall unpleasant stay, we will DEFINITELY NEVER RETURN. 0/10, would not recommend to my worst enemy.

    I chose it based on the medical rate and the reputation of La Quinta. This is managed by Wyndham and standards have slipped. They double booked my room and when I went to the room, other people had already left their belongings in the room.

    The front desk lady was very nice and personable. The room on the other hand was one of the worst rooms I had ever stayed in. The A/C sounded like a jet plane preparing for takeoff every time it turned on and sounded like a plane preparing for landing when it would shut off. The shower was absolutely horrible. I was scared I would not get the soap out of my hair…and I’m bald. The microwave sounded as if it was about to explode whenever you hit start. The floor was not clean at all. I took my shoes off after arriving and could feel the grit. My feet were completely black after walking from the bed to the bathroom and back. Breakfast was lacking. The waffle maker had burnt waffle residue caked to it both mornings we went down for breakfast. 2 out of 10. Do not recommend.

    Do not stay here! This place is an absolute dump! It’s dirty, the smoke alarm was missing in my room, the railings on the walkway were rusty and not safe ! The “breakfast” was a joke (luckily there was a Waffle House next door). It’s overall just disgusting. The absolute worst La Quinta I have ever seen!

    The breakfast was very basic we did not eat because it did not look too good. Our biggest concern was that the elevator was in the middle of the hotel which is a very large hotel so we we're not directed by front desk that we had to park in the correct spot so we ended up having to walk quite a bit of ways to get to the hotel and then quite a bit back to our room I have three kids so it was very inconvenient

    The bed was nive 1st room we found a pair of dirty panties and nightgown in the bathroom so it was not cleaned. Second room we got moved to smelt like smoke and that bathroom was also dirty. Staff didn't apologize or offer anything from the bad experience

    First off we arrived it was raining I went to check in and right away the young lady told me it was her first day the check-in went okay with exception of the fact that it was not explained that I needed to pay a $60 damage fee so we did checked in and was informed that the elevator is at the end of the building on the outside keep in mind it was raining we're seniors of four seniors so after that we tugged our luggage on the dolly down through the rain to the end of the building up the elevator back down the building to the very front to our room to find out it was not what we rented we wanted two queen beds we got one full and one Queen I said no I went back down had to go all the way back down to the building take the elevator back down and go back down to the office to rearrange getting another room in the meanwhile management came to my wife and other associates with us and took them to another room on still on the second floor for seniors so we went into the room it was very filthy mold in the curtains mold in the bathroom dirty around the edges it was just really not what we were looking for after that we went to check out the next day they informed me I wouldn't get my $60 back until they checked the room and send it back in a few days I have received the $60 back the stay was very uncomfortable the room was hot and cold hot and cold all night long I would not recommend this hotel for any family that is traveling with children I am a kidney transplant patient and I wo

    There was nothing unique about this property. For years I have stayed at La Quinta hotels as one of my first choice, but this one was one of the worst. Sheets were stained. Water from shower dripping all night where I couldn’t get some sleep. The door had the latch broken and dirty ironing board. Room service knocking at the door early in the am when checkout time is at 11 am. Spoke with guest agent at the front desk about the worst experience. She said trying to justify the early knocking is that the room was going to be remodeled. But why have it in service to book online if they are having issues and repairs that need be done. That is the reason I have it a terrible rating. Never again. Oh! And pictures are deceiving.

    Definitely an older facility. There was what appeared to be blood on the shower curtain as well as the bathtub so nobody wanted to take a shower. There was no ice bucket in the room. On a positive note, the beds were comfortable.

It was the worst hotel room ever. My wife, my friend, and I were in the room less than ten minutes after we hiked up the four flights of stairs. The location had two flights of stairs for advancing to each floor. When we finally got to the room we were disgusted to find pee in the shower, on the toilet, hair on the bed pillow, cockroaches on the floor, milk in the fridge, and some small bug in the bed. I would like a full refund. Then the hotel had the audacity to double charge me their accidentl fee. They charged me $138.95 and an additional $50. When the agreed amount was $88.95.

    The bedding and towels were badly stained. The bathroom was in bad shape. Chips all over the tub and shower. No plug in for the phone charger near the bed. The neighbors had dogs barking late at night and started again in the early morning. If you can handle gross, the price was ok.

    Upon checking in the hotel was older and you can tell but my husband and previously stayed there and that is why we booked. The room had a horrendous smell and with the wood flooring it had to be coming from the walls. We did not even unload anything, we checked out and found another hotel.

    Literally didn't even check in from the moment we drove in parking lot you could tell the property was unkept dirty. There was a issue with another person that was checking in and several people waiting. I just got a bad vibe about it. another couple came in and left after just a couple moments, that's when I decided to leave also. I had already paid for the room online, I would rather pay and leave than feel uncomfortable!

    The room/floors were dirty. The bath tub was stained. The shower curtain was gross. The tub would not drain. Turned on the hot and cold water, turned on the shower and it only put out the cold.     There were a few cleanliness issues during our stay, including stains on some of the towels, pillows that could use updating, and what appeared to be urine on part of the bathroom floor upon arrival. The breakfast was also very limited and could definitely be improved with a few more options. With a little more attention to cleaning and upkeep, this place could be much better. Overall, it served its purpose for an affordable overnight stop.

    Breakfast was terrible. Had very little selection anwasn't quite sure if safe to eat. Coffee was do able. Parking was limited an room noisey as next to waffle house. Room was not up to code an had to request maintence to correct. Wall light did not work with exposed wires. No smoke detector. Trash on floor from previous occupant. Marginal for cleanliness and room and furniture worn. Guess where we will not be staying. LaQuinta lost our business.

    The bathroom was in need of work. Of the two wall switches only one turned on a light. There was no light over the sink and the hairdryer did not work. There was no good spot to walk your dog. The breakfast which was served from 6 to 9 AM was pretty much empty by 8 AM and not refilled.

    A panhandler who appeared intellectually disabled greeted me at the front door. A man carrying a long-handled scraper, which he put away in a closet, came into the lobby while I was checking in. He showed me what appeared to be a miniature salesman's sample of a prosthetic built into a high, laced boot resembling that of a World War I soldier. He, too, appeared to be intellectually disabled. I'd pass on this one.

    The lady at the front desk(this was nighttime), was a little rude...kind of felt a little discriminated. I paid for the room online and when i arrived they charged me another 50$ deposit(which i never seen written anywhere and asked if the deposit was written or if there was a notice anywhere which I didnt see anything but the employee replied yes). I did ask to cancel because i didnt have the full 50$(i paid for protection to do so) the lady said she couldnt do that. So after finding the EXTRA $50 on top of the almost 90$ i paid...2 HOURS later i finally get into my room to want a cup of coffee....to find the coffee maker didnt dispense my coffee.....i opened the top and got greeted with a coffee pot that squirted a stream of HOT COFFEE in my face, on my white shirt and all over their desk. I then call front desk and POLITELY ask if If i could get another coffee maker and explained what happened...said I would even walk down and exchange it for another, to which I was told no she couldnt do that rn. That room number was 239. And i still have not gotten my deposit back though its supposed to be refunded right after....the room itself was decent, but i still dont recommend!!!!

    ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!!!!!! This property inside and out was FILTHY!!! We had dead bugs in the room. The floor had not been swept from many uses. There was dirty toilet paper on the floor. The bed sheets were stained and pilly. The pillows were filthy and pilly. In the first room we had the tv did not work. The manager was not willing to do anything other than offer us a different room. The second room w were in was not a lot better than the first one. In the second room, at 10:00 at night, another guest tried to come into our room as they were given the same room we were given!!!! We were terrified of even considering eating the breakfast! If the rooms were filthy how bad could the food have been?

    This place was terrible. The girl at the front desk was very nice and mentioned the rooms were being remodeled, but if this is the result, I’d hate to see what they looked like before. I checked in and tried to check out within two minutes of walking in. Still waiting to hear if I’ll get a refund. DO NOT STAY HERE!

    Convenient location for our travel The room felt very gross. The bed did not seem fresh, the bathroom sink area and mirror had no lighting, the towels were all damp and smelled awful, the sink was clogged so water pooled, the room keys continued to fail requiring us to get more, the other residents were very loud throughout the night with no action taken from the staff.

    The room was nice. I liked the lay out and the bathroom was big. When I checked in they automatically took a 50$ deposit that was supposed to be back in my account by 11 am check out but I still have not received my deposit. Not to mention I wasn't even informed that they were going to do that and when I mentioned to the staff the man was kind of rude saying that normal for all hotels as if he should have to let me know before they just charged my account and additional 50$. Also They put me in the room right next to the office and Everytime the door shut it was very loud and people kept coming through it off and in all night.

    Booked 3 rooms for a family vacation. Checked in about 1 am. All 3 rooms had hair in the sheets and pillowcases. 2 rooms lights inop. Stains on sheets. 3rd room large fridge inop and stunk and shower curtain missing. Got moved to another room and a bottle cap was stuck in the sink and wouldn't drain, ac unit made a terrible noise when it turned off, 2nd bed felt like base was broken and sunk in the center and was terribly loud. Shower curtain was moldy. Stains on comforter. Unloaded into 1st room then switched to 2nd and it was about 2 am. Was too late and tired from driving and tried to sleep. Renovations also going on. The afternoon after check out while driving we had allergies really bad or something. I kept sneezing, my kids were sneezing, coughing and had eye gunk. I do not recommend this place.

They had rooms w a dog tied up outside. No handicap anything. Pets seemed the least of their worries. Breakfast was an overall joke....all machines were broke but toaster, no choices, and even tho there was a desk person and its in lobby, they werent mKing people behave like adults it was just overall off putting. We left as soon as we could. Again tho the staff wS teying for the most part. After we switched out the first room, I knew i should have just left...my bad.

    Very run down. Pet friendly and the staff was friendly. But the room was a mess. There was plaster dust all over the floor and weirdly, globs of plaster splatter on the curtains too. No trashcan inside the room. A razor blade literally in the doorway as we and our dogs walked in. Didn’t feel very safe. We got in late so we didn’t have the energy to do anything about it. Just glad there weren’t bed bugs. Appears to be a long term living situation for many hotel guests.

    Late arrival 1 night stay. Left without a refund because the place is a dump. Tried to give us double beds when reserved queens. No elevator and wanted us to move to 3rd floor. I said hello a couple of times into an open door twice and even went to knock on a closed door. When someone finally came to the front desk, the lady asked if I was extending my stay. I said I was checking out. I told the front desk about the banging, hammering and making noise since 2 AM. They did not apologize or anything. All they said was I’ll take care of it!! Will never stay at this place again if we happen to visit Amarillo in the future…

    There were three other people, whom we don't know, who had checked in at the same time and then turned around and said that they were no longer staying there for the same reasons. The person at the front desk told everyone that they could get a refund but they have to go through their respective third parties. When we contacted the third party to get a refund, they said that the front desk person told them that they had to email the manager. The manager in turn declined to refund us for our visit that we didn't even do.

    The staff was nice but this was a terrible experience overall. I booked this hotel because it was advertised as having an airport shuttle. This alone was very disappointing but then I got to the room which was filthy. The toilet and bath tub were very, very dirty. The ice machine did not work and there was NO hot water. Room was run down and needed paint, lights in the washroom were out Lamps on the wall has faulty switches ( big fire hazard). Door wouldnt lock unless you leaned on it and forced the lock.     The staff was incredibly warm and accommodating. That being said, the hotel is clearly being renovated and I know that is a tough time to operate any business. There is construction debris here, there, and everywhere. Not a deal breaker. The bed was very comfortable, unfortunately the bathroom and shower needed some love. They could have been a lot cleaner and it was a definitely off putting. The goings on around the hotel were slightly sketchy, with some kind of alarm going off loudly at 3 am for about 10 minutes. It wasn’t the most secure feeling. For the price it was all good, but if you can spend the extra 20 bucks I would probably stay somewhere else.

    Breakfast lacked a lot . There were eggs, tater tots, toast and waffles only. They was only generic sugar and powder creamer. No other condiments at all. Overall it was okay. The water was good and hot. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the TV worked well. The fridge was ice cold. I would stay again, but I went to the Waffle House for breakfast the last 2 mornings.

The entire room was filthy!! NEVER NEVER NEVER would I recommend this place. It should be shut down! And they refused to refund me! I would rather stay at a motel 6!

    Clock has all plug 🔌 ins for my phone to charge, nothing works, had to unplug radio so i could charge my phone. Tried the in the bathroom but there was to much moisture and my phone alert ⚠️. Stained comforter, they charged my credit card without my consent. Told me they needed it on file, not charging it.Im pissed. Terrible place. Ice machine by pool are is filthy dirty and doesn't work .sheets smell funny. I was so tired from driving that i wanting to let them change my room. But I fell asleep that's how tired and exhausted I was. This is bad 👎 😕

    We noticed there was a terrible smell in the room. We left the door open while unloading the car, and turned the air conditioner on high, trying to air it out. My husband went to bed immediately since he wasn’t feeling well. When I went into the bathroom, I discovered that someone had defacated in the toilet and didn’t flush, and this was the reason for the sickening smell. There was a used washcloth in the shower. One bed was not made up correctly, leading us to believe that the linens hadn’t been changed. I went to the front desk and advised the staff. She didn’t apologize, but told me she could put us in another room and couldn’t refund our money. We moved to another room, mostly due to the smell, and also because the room hadn’t been cleaned. In the second room, we were at least able to rest. We have never been in a hotel room that has been this disgusting. I would appreciate to be contacted by the hotel management.

    AC in our room didn’t cool. We had to have a ground floor room and there were “none open to move us” to, we asked for a fan to help cool the room but the property had none. Absolutely a miserable night trying to sleep. Dead bugs on the floor, newly installed hand soap dispenser didn’t work. We’ve stayed here many times due to the location and it has gone down tremendously each time in quality over the last 5 years. This will be our final stay at this location.

    The suite was outdated by about 20 years. Couch was due to be tossed about 10 years ago, hard as a rock with sticky stained arm rest. I took my flip flops off and in less than 2 min i had a peice of glass stuck in my foot...we then checked out. Looks like it rents by the hour..

    We will not be staying at this location again. Our room was dirty. Used Q-tip on the floor, cigarette butt hanging on the door in the shower, the white towels and wash cloths had brown stains all over, and the walls in the bathroom had exposed drywall and not been cleaned in some time. Otherwise, nice staff, good water pressure/hot shower, working tv, decent bed. Just needs more attention and TLC from management, housekeeping, and maintenance.

    The location wasn’t the best there was hair on the floor by the sink and in the bed like someone shaved and didn’t clean it up and that tells me there wasn’t room service done the mirror was dirty tub was nasty mold above the shower you can tell they just painted over it the rooms also had a weird odor to them do not recommend this place the pictures on the website don’t match the rooms at all

    This place is priced correctly, you get exactly what you pay for. They had roaches, the bathroom was so scary we didnt even shower, all the towels had long black hair on them. Looks like they spot painted the walls but couldn't find the correct color to match. Overall i would pay a bit more money to stay at a better hotel.

    Room was clean and bright. Tub drain was very slow. Water was up to our calves by the end of each shower. Mattresses felt worn out. Alarm clock cord was so frayed at plug that wires were exposed. (I alerted Front Desk at checkout.) Hand soap pump at bathroom sink didn't work. Stains on towels. Parking lot near our room had a lot of trash.

    The room hadn't seen a cleaning before our check-in. The sheets had long black hair on them. The Floors hadn't had a cleaning. The wash cloths and towels were heavily stained. The air conditioner wasn't working. We didn't stay in room and there any more rooms at the hotel.The manager on duty said she would refund the cost of the room to me, which was nice of her.

    This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed at . The second room was so dirty that my kids drove theough the night and didnt stop. Our bathroom had s**t splattered all in the stool and dried on. The door came off the hinges. They said expedia overbookes and didnt have one of the rooms we booked. Then they "found" one with two beds but when my kids went to it, they woke the occupants up at 2 am. Then they switches the four to a room with ONE king, which had dirty sheets and a filthy bathroom.

    To begin, one of the rooms had a large, gaping hole in the bathroom ceiling. When we brought this to the attention of your staff, we were told that this room had been reserved for maintenance purposes and should not have been assigned to a guest. While your manager did quickly provide a replacement room, this initial error reflects poor management of room inventory and maintenance scheduling. The second room was far more disturbing. Upon checking the bedding, we discovered what appeared to be blood stains on the sheets. This is not only unsanitary and unhygienic, but completely unacceptable for any guest experience. The third room also had noticeably dirty bedding, with visible stains and grime on the covers, making it clear that a proper cleaning had not been conducted prior to our arrival. However, the most distressing part of our experience was not the condition of the rooms, but the dangerous environment created by other guests. A group of rowdy men were gathered just outside our rooms, loudly drinking and playing music. Feeling concerned, we spoke with the manager, AJ, and the owner around 6:00 p.m. The

    The room was very dirty, the floor, bedsheets, toilet. Everything was very dirty. The staff couldn't care less and didn't offer assistance right away. The soda dispenser in the toilet didn't work. The water level in the toilet was too high for a cleanly use. The bathtub was so dirty it turned black. The area around the hotel is noisy, unsafe and there are street walkers roaming around it. The whole experience was beyond terrible

    This place is truly awful. Ripped out smoke detector, blood and stains in sheets and on walls, bug under my pillow in the morning, stained couches, drunk guy by my car at night. Staff refused to help me or put me in contact with the manager (I truly did ask nicely!). I then asked for information on who to contact to complain about the property (like the DHHS) and they said they are controlled by them. Felt unsafe to leave my kids or car out of my eyesight. Constantly slamming doors. Domestic violence in the hallway. Manager still hasn’t contacted me when I asked them to. Truly despicable.

    The AC was loud, the bathroom tub fixtures hard to adjust temp, the room had fruit flies or bats landing on us during the night. We had to leave as the parking lot was noisy as well.

    There was nothing I liked, except the staff was cordial & tried to make up for the rest. Bathroom had no workable soap dispenser. No towels except two dirty bath towels. Coffee maker not working, clock & microwave were unplugged & furniture had to be moved around to plug in. Sheets had multiple holes in them. Breakfast was limited & area & equipment was dirty.

    The room had a horrible smell. The floor was not swept There was stains on the sheets Tape over holes in the curtains. There was no hot water. Overall the feeling was gross and very uncomfortable. If it was not 12 in the morning and I had not driven all day-I would have found another hotel.

    The neighborhood is not great, but it certainly remains better than the quality of the hotel's nasty guests -- first, trash all over the parking lot, then me being woken up at 0215 as well as 0530 by violent and vulgar guests.

    En primero es lugar no tiene nada que ver con las imágenes que se muestran en la página de expedía, cuando llegamos al lugar el cuarto tenía un olor muy fuerte a limpiador, como queriendo cubrir otros olores, en segunda, había cabellos tirados en la ventana, el baño estaba todo manchado de amarillo y las paredes del cuarto también, en tercera, cuando fuimos a pasar el rato en la alberca está no funcionaba y nunca hubo un aviso en la página que no estaba funcionando, solo estuve en el lugar como 20 minutos, cuando fui a hacer check out, una de las recepcionistas trató de hacer algo, mientras la otra sólo se limitó a decir que no le iban a reembolsar nada y que no me iban a mover de habitación, solo me limité a dejar las tarjetas de la habitación y me marché del lugar pensando en nunca volver a regresar a ese lugar, ni en ninguno de la misma cadena de hoteles

    The floors in the hotel room were so disgusting after walking around barefoot for 10 minutes my feet were black. Floors have never been mopped. Looked like mold in the shower on the ceiling. Bed sheets had burn marks and something that looked like blood stains. Entire room was just disgusting and felt gross. I was extremely mislead based on ratings and other reviews on Expedia. 0/10 would not recommend or ever stay here again.

    Cigarette burns on bathtub. Broken stairs. Pretty sure my children saw a drug deal. Smoking in the rooms and lobby. Rude front staff. They gave me a key to a room in use the first time. We packed our bags and left so quick.

    This is my lesson to read the reviews before staying somewhere. We were just looking for a place to lay our heads on the way to Colorado. This was the most disgusting and dirty hotel (motel) I have ever seen. We ended up leaving that evening as it was just awful! To even attempt to find the good in it wasn’t working and smelled even worse. The pictures aren’t accurate online. My towel in the bathroom was dirty and brown stains and the bathtub was full of stains, the toilet seat was crumbling and yellow. My room smelled like smoke. We didn’t feel safe with our young kids. Heck no.

    Booking with this property was the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel, and I have stayed in many. In particular, I have stayed in a La Quinta facility many times. They have always been in my top three favorites. My husband and I planned a vacation with our two children and scheduled three different nights of stopping. Our first night, I booked a room at this property through Expedia. Based on it being a La Quinta and the pictures provided, I felt comfortable with the booking. For reference, the suite had a living area with a sofa bed and a separate bedroom with the bathroom attached to that. Upon arrival, we checked the sofa bed for our kids. Immediately pulling the cushions off, there were crumbs and dirt piled up where you could tell it had not been vacuumed or cleaned in a LONG time. Once we pulled the actual bed out, the bare mattress was filthy. I'm aware that mattresses get stained, but it was disgusting on top of there being dirt and crumbs on the mattress itself and even an empty kids juice bottle left underneath the head portion of the "bed" which would be under the couch. The king sized bed seemed to be decently clean, but the bathroom was also disgusting and in poor shape. I do not mind outdated facilities, but everything was completely cracking or peeling. There were two areas in which there were supposed to be smoke detectors, but the devices were missing and there were wires sticking out. They offered another room in the same condition.

    The absolute worse, trashiest, filthy, overall disgusting. The room they had originally gave me had food, popcorn, trash and syringes all over the floor and housekeeping had already done the bedding..the room door was wide open, I took a couple of pics. I refused to even sit on that bed. I sat on my rollator all night long. My husband got on in and woke up with bedbug bites all over his back!! Nasty! This is outrageous! No no, not ever again. Somebody needs to be called about this.

    This is a MOTEL not a Hotel! That is something that should be made clear before the visit I was traveling with toddler and the fact that we could hear the ladies of the night outside our door is crazy! Also people arguing and fighting outside the door as well as outside the lobby! The room was filthy! Dead bugs in every corner! The bathroom was just disgusting, towels were dingy, 2 adults and 1 child with 1 face towel! I asked for more and was told the laundry lady doesn’t come in until 9am I gave the front desk my room number and asked if they could drop off some towels when she arrived!! No one ever came and when I called the front desk no one ever answered the phone! I only stayed one night and will never stay again! I attempted to address my issues with the Manager the next day and she had the worst attitude and didn’t want to hear me out at all! I was on a road trip with my kids I had driven 16 hours to get to the hotel all I wanted was to sleep when we arrived at 9pm I didn’t even realize how nasty the room was until the next morning around 6am. I complained right away! But it went to deaf ears! It clear the staff doesn’t care and neither does the manager! I Do NOT recommend at all!!!

    The room was clean, but sheets were stained and had cigarette holes. The toilet seat was not properly attached to the toilet. People were loud late into the night. I kept feeling like I needed to check my car to make sure it wasn't broken into. The outside was pretty run down. Not a place I would want to stay in again.

    I loved that there was a waffle house in walking distance. What i didnt like is 1 of the rooms booked, there was no smoke detector and the extra locking latch was broken. In the other room, the bathroom door could not shut due to being too big. Other than these few things,everything was great!

    Minimal towels and such were thin and mis-matched. Thin sheets and blanket. First room toilet was plugged. Single staff member was very minimally helpful. Breakfast was almost non-existent. Bathtub damaged and seemed unsafe. We will not stay there again when travel through Amarillo.
