This was not how we wanted to spend our time in Chicago.

Very nice but limited breakfast and almost got kicked out for waiting 30 minutes before check in time but otherwise they were nice.

Hotel was very dated. Dirty bathroom. AC didn’t work very well. Long check-in process. Breakfast didn’t have very many options. No fresh fruit no scrambled eggs. No yogurt not very well. Stocked. Had a few slices of toast in a couple bagels.

Breakfast was meager, even for a hotel breakfast. Common areas have a lingering smoke odor and everything outside the lobby has an appearance of age and wear. Thought we were getting a great deal, but it seems we got what we paid for.

Clean, convenient and comfortable. I saw staff everyday cleaning something, the elevator, the breakfast area and even the entrance outside and inside. Everything was great, but the sheets were a little scratchy.

My stay was great

We have traveled a lot in the last year and we have never had maid service each day. It was so nice to walk back into our room after a long day and see the bed freshly made - still same sheets, but fresh looking nd fresh towels. We only ate breakfast one day, but it had a nice array of biscuits and gravy (and there was actual sausage in the gravy not just gravy), fruit and pastries. Free, ample parking and very helpful staff. There were signs of wear in the hall carpeting, but overall, a great stay.

The carpeting in our room was dirty. Our bed mattress was very poor condition. It felt like we were sleeping in a horseshoe. There was black hair on the floor and in the shower and in the sink area where it looks like it had not been cleaned. Went down for breakfast in the morning. The biscuits were cold not even warmed up any at all.The coffee was great.

The room was alright, definitely not worth the $258 I paid, for a king size room, the bathroom was small, the water pressure was poor, the bed was okay, a bit more springy then I would like, the ac unit worked alright, but barely could adjust the temp, honestly kicked the blankets off since it was still warm in the room. This place doesn't take any outside kind of payments, so if you choose to pay through Expedia they wont accept it, you'll have to pay in person. Also if you have chime, they wont accept it. Overall this hotel is okay, if I needed a place to stay for A NIGHT, it would be okay, not happy about the price whatsoever, but it was a place to stay at least.

The cleaning staff did an amazing job during my stay. On the second day, they changed the sheets and towels and kept everything very clean and organized. Their attention to detail was truly appreciated. The only downside was the breakfast. Unfortunately, there was not much variety. It mainly consisted of muffins and waffles, and I was expecting a few more options available for guests. Other than that, everything was perfect, and I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at the Baymont was excellent...we had a nightmare experience the night before at a hotel in Willowbrook, and this Baymont helped clean the palette of that experience. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and the area was quiet

I thought the poor reviews were exaggerating so I gave it a try... shower was unclean with hair everywhere upon my arrival. Cleaning staff knocking on your door at the crack of dawn, to NOT thoroughly clean is hilarious, but unfortunately reality. The pillows were also laughably uncomfortable.

Absolutely horrible experience and the staff at this location are rude and entitled. Will not be going back and would recommend taking your money elsewhere. The beds are just foam blocks, not real beds. The place is filthy and there is mold EVERYWHERE.

The breakfast was not good/ didn’t have anything much to eat. When checking in the staff was someone helpful but when checking out they were no were to be seen you had to literally call to get there attention since they were on their phone. When I informed that I was charged for 6 rooms and that I had only requested 3 they would not give a refund for rooms I didn’t even request for then on top of that they had said I had checked in to all the rooms when I checked in to 3 with a deposit. They are not helpful at all.

The hotel lobby, hallways and room were clean. Room had recent updates and a comfortable bed. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Very convenient location with free on-site parking.

The 1st room had a busted-up fridge that couldn't close properly, and the 2nd room disgustingly hadn't been cleaned yet with sauce/stains/hairs/debris all over the counters, beds, and appliances. The 3rd room was finally fine.

The floor felt like it was gonna cave in the bathroom toilet wasn’t seal into the floor every time you sit down it would move up and side ways also the shower wall had a crack in it and they did poorly trying to cover it up the heater only works if you out it on 80 degrees anything above that will blow out cool air and the sheets were a lil dirty when I checked into the room.

Nice place for the price. Liners were clean, room was acceptably clean. Manger was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was middle of the road, but again it was great value for a cheap room. Location is good on the edge of a nice residential neighborhood and a few blocks from food and shopping on Cicero Avenue. Overall a great value for under $100 in a nice and safe area of the south suburbs near University of Chicago hospital.

Thanks for a good night's rest after a power outage in my community. The rate was reasonable and the roon very comfortable.

Actually, I didn’t get an opportunity to stay. After making a reservation, I was told my Service pet could not stay at the hotel because they ran out of the rooms that they utilize for service animals. Then asked for my service pets paperwork to provide an alternate room. I didn’t have the paperwork but I had the harness.

Both days the breakfast buffet was almost constantly empty. The fire alarms went off and woke me up bringing the fire department and causing me a flashback.

On check in the counter person said they would not accept my Visa credit card for the damage deposit, the one I had just paid for the room with on Expedia. They wanted either $50 cash or a bank card. Very unusual. There was no hot water, only barely lukewarm. The breakfast was very slim, only cereal and a few bagels. The hotel was a blast from the 1970's in decor. I was surprised this had as good a rating as it had. The previous Baymont I stayed in was good, but this one was not.

Very little protein for breakfast. I hate to complain, since having breakfast at all is a plus. Some places only have doughnuts. I have type two diabetes, so need some protein to offset the carbs. I made do by taking a cream cheese and a peanut butter packet. The peanut butter must be old, since it had oil separated on top and it was really difficult to mix with the plastic knife. Had a hard time getting it out. I sound like such an old bag! But I like to be honest. For the most part, it’s a great place.

This hotel reflects the hard-working, working-class town in which it’s located. I was pleasantly surprised during my stay and I will definitely stay again during my next visit to the south suburbs. The staff (front desk, housekeeping, maintenance) all provided exceptional customer service! The rooms and public areas were consistently clean. Check-in and check-out were easy. The facility has had some upgrades since joining the Wyndham family and I look forward to additional upgrades in the near future.Overall, it was good value for a good night’s sleep. Two thumbs up!

When I went to my room, the hall carpets as well as my room carpet was filthy. The room appeared much smaller than the pictures online. The shower appeared to have mold in it therefore I went to the store to purchase Clorox and sprayed the shower. I did not like I could only move one shower door which made me have to step directly in the shower to adjust the water temperature before showering. Of course the water came out cold when first turning it on but if the shower doors were movable/adjustable I would have been able to adjust the water without stepping in the shower first. I must say when I was checking out the hotel they were shampooing the hall carpets. I’m not sure if they shampooed the carpets in any of rooms since I was leaving. Overall stay was ok but not great.

Stayed here to attend my aunt’s funeral. Love the area. Convenient location. Hotel is a little bit older. Breakfast was OK, biscuits and gravy every morning that we were there. Complementary warm cookies one night. Room was clean. Friendly staff. Plenty of outdoor parking. Fridge and microwave, but styrofoam plates and bowls in breakfast area so not suitable for microwave (dad has mobility challenges so took food to room for him). Overall, great stay. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

The staff was great. The room was clean. The hallway and stairway carpeting was odorous and stained. But there was dampness present in the room carpet. Suggest making sure that the A/C evaporator drains are clear and flowing freely. There was no odor except when I turned the heat on and there was a major electrical heating coil odor. The police were present at three times during our week stay but there didn't seem to be any major trouble.

Overall the property is very old and dated. It's hard to tell if it was dirty or just old and worn out. However, I did sleep well. So I guess that's the important thing.

My stay was pretty good, staff were very friendly, and the hotel room was clean. I didn’t indulge in the complimentary breakfast, however, it smelled good every morning. Unfortunately, the walls are pretty thin and you can hear everything. Some guests smelled like weed even though marijuana is prohibited. Also a very few guests were playing loud music and walking up and down the hallway. My only advice would be to be careful since anybody can book a stay there.

There was mold and a spot on the bathroom ceiling that was leaking from the upstairs room. Water dripped on the toilet tank and the floor.

My stay here was great for a last minute overnight. Only issues I had was that the tv only had about 5-6 channels to choose from, even though the listed like 30 on the paper in the room. Other issue was the ac was a little loud for me. I’m a light sleeper, anyone else who isn’t, shouldn’t be an issue for them.

The room i stayed in had 4 different blue lights from the TV, M/C, red lighta from phone and clock and a flashing blue motion detector type light which madw it hard to fall asleep.

This is an older property and it has been well maintained. It was everything we needed for a night's stay before a flight out of Midway.

The bed was ok the pillows were hard. The air conditioner was too loud and there was no way to adjust it. We only had breakfast on Sunday, we expected more variety.

I can't believe who gave prior reviews for this hotel. The price was reasonable - but nothing else was. The hotel was dirty and extremely run down. It's a very old building which has not been refurbished at all. Thet have added perfume to many parts of the hotel - which makes one suspicious as to what smells they are trying to hide. The mirror in the room was discolored - and the toilet seat was partially melted (as if by cigarettes). The window was so stained that it was difficult to look out. Overall - this was not at all a reasonable hotel. I was strongly suggest people not choose this hotel (especially based on the seemingly positive reviews).

I would recommend this hotel for a one- or two-night stay. It’s suitable for short visits but may not be ideal for a longer stay.

Pillows on bed were throw pillows not sleeping pillows. Overall cleanliness was lacking. Surrounding neighborhood was questionable in terms of safety. Our view out the window in our room looked out to someone’s back yard and there was a bbq grill in the hotel parking lot.

10 miles from Baltimore Airport, same road. Has shuttle service, book ahead, took 25 min during commuter hours. Ave accommodations but clean and beds comfortable. Booked last minute when flight was cancelled and glad to have place to stay.

I Would never stay at this hotel!

Room was not thoroughly cleaned. A dirty sock, sticky deodorant container and chewed gum were all found on the floor underneath the edge of the bed. A dirty cotton swab was in the ice bucket and one of the towels appeared to have been used and refolded without being washed. The tv did not work until it was discovered that someone had disconnected the power cord from the backside of it and left the other end plugged into the wall outlet. The place was very noisy. Every time a a door slammed closed in another room, ours would shake and rattle. Doors on room and exterior exit did secure until physically pulled shut. Only given one room key at check in and there was a charge if another was requested. The breakfast area was confusing and very disorganized. The volume of the tv playing a morning show with a hip hop artist in the breakfast area was turned up so loud that it made for an unpleasant environment. Not a very overall comfortable stay.

The room was deplorable. The floor stayed wet and nasty, room smelled, tv remote didn’t work. Wasn’t worth the money. I don’t know how in the hell it had a 8.2 rating, it should have been a 2 at the most.

Stinky, Dirty Sheets, I felt the need to stop by a laundry mat and dry all of our clothes for bed bugs.

The property was well kept, the staff was friendly and eager to help. The rooms were nice and clean and I had a pleasant quiet stay. Although the location leaves a little to be desired, it's in a busy area but offers the conveniency. Therefore I would consider revisiting.

Not what it’s worth wish I could get my money back

Good for a stopping spot!

The room was filthy — dirty floors, smelly bedding, and clear signs of neglect. The front desk staff were shockingly rude and aggressive, making the whole check-in process uncomfortable. All night long, there were people shouting, banging on doors, and even fighting in the parking lot. Cars were being damaged and no one from the hotel did anything about it. It did not feel safe at all. Worst of all: BED BUGS. That alone should be a dealbreaker. Hotels.com should seriously reconsider listing this place — it’s a disgrace, not a hotel.

This was an overall great place to stay. Seemed to have people that may stay there long term, which was a little concerning, but it was a non issue. Quiet and the room was clean and the bed and pillow was comfortable.

Breakfast needs to have a wider variety. Possibly have hot options available.

The hotel was very clean. The staff was nice and very helpful. The breakfast was what you could expect for a hotel continental breakfast. The only negative Review I can leave Are about the beds they were not very comfortable. Overall It's a hotel is great the price Of the rooms.

The property was very well maintained and had good amenities including parking, breakfast, etc. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. The area around the property is convenient with gas stations, food places, close to downtown Chicago.
