The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable- I slept great. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There was a great restaurant down stairs, as well as a nice coffee place with delicious pastries. I couldn’t think of a single thing that they did not offer. And it was conveniently located to many things, in a great neighborhood. Would definitely recommend, and would stay here again.

We arrive late and everyone was very polite and helpful. The room was fantastic, food at the restaurant great (coffee in the morning was excellent). Location and cleanness was the best.

The hotel is very nice, with easy access to all that Alexandria has to offer. The staff were wonderful - always friendly and always willing to help. The on-site restaurant had great food, and the little coffee shop in the lobby was great every morning. This is where I’ll stay next time I’m in Alexandria.

Everything about this hotel was great. The staff, the room itself, the cafe with its delicious coffee and fresh pastries, the restaurant with both great food and ambiance, the cleanliness and the location. You can't go wrong by staying here. VERY highly recommended!

The location of the hotel was perfect for our stay in the DC area. We were about a 10 minute walk from the metro station which was great. There was a free shuttle available to take us to the waterfront. When the shuttle isn't available, we walked to the metro station and took the free King Street Trolly. Happy Hour was nice and we had a lovely dinner at the restaurant.

Staff were very friendly. Place was clean. Room was roomy. Valet was a little busy but they were friendly and worked quickly to get our cars in a timely manner. I would recommend this hotel and I will absolutely stay here again.

I came here with my fiancé and service dog for Bloom Fest and a quick weekend getaway. Everything was fine. Just be aware that parking is either valet or street meter parking or self parking at a lot. There’s no free parking. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to use the gym or any other amenities as it was packed and a busy weekend (bloom fest, no kings rally, and other events happening)

The hotel was beautiful. The decor was on point, the bathroom was clean, the shower was relaxing and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

Our stay at the Westin was great. Our rooms were clean, but what really made our stay was the staff. Everyone we encountered was very friendly. The free shuttle service was wonderful. A special acknowledgement to Solomon, who drove us to the Metro center.

We have stayed at this Westin 3 times in 6 weeks for business. Always clean, accomodating staff, and very, very pet friendly. It is in a part of Alexandria petfext for business stays - not too many tourists. Resturant and menu make in-house dining a very viable option.

Room was clean and very spacious. I picked this hotel because of their very reasonable pet fees. It did not disappoint. Restaurant was very good, every employee throughout was very nice and helpful. They have valet, but i used a lot a block away for 10.00. I felt very safe in the entire area. It is about a half hour walk to old town but an easy enjoyable walk. There are good restaurants closer to the hotel if you are not into the Old Town scene. Hotel has a happy hour that looked pretty good. Good stay, will go again

Excellent front desk staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Great room service staff, food was okay, not worth the price. In addition to the $50 incidental fee you’re charged at check in, you’re also charged a $50 “incidental “ fee each time you order room service??? Take away: a stay at the Westin is fine - just don’t order room service.

Didn’t eat breakfast, room was very clean and comfortable with a great city view. Only complaint was the individuating the next floor up above my room had a child who ran around constantly so it became pretty noisy and aggravated to hear continuously.

Another successful Expedia booking! I got an excellent deal on this hotel AND it was super nice inside. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They even let me park in the valet circle long enough to unload my car and park elsewhere (it would have been $35-45 a night to park at this hotel). We were also able to check in early. Would absolutely stay here again.

This hotel was incredible, clean, modern, attentive. I booked the double bedroom and it was huge, the beds were soft, they included a robe and gave me a voucher for booking with Expedia!

The bed deserves its own five stars. I laid down at 1 PM and accidentally slept until 4:30 AM the next day. Clean room, peaceful environment, and exactly the kind of comfort you hope for in a Westin stay. Zero complaints.

Everything was wonderful, except for I left a pair of fendi glasses on the bed. And as I was exiting the hotel, I realized that I left my glasses on the bed. How's key moving was already cleaning? I asked the manager to go upstairs or go. Ask the housekeeping to go get my glasses. I know for a fact that I left him on the bed because I realized when I walked out and I had already given the key to the manager that I couldn't go back in the room and gritty myself. So he asked the housekeeping to get them and housekeeping lied. And said, nope, no, ifendy glass is on the bed, never seen him never and I have pictures with me. Wearing them in the hotel so yeah, nope, they stole my glasses. I give 0 rating to the staff.

Pretty routine four-star hotel. Staff very good. Could use new beds. Wasn’t crazy about the waterfall shower, but that’s a matter of taste. Rooms were good size. Elevator very far from my room. Same with my last Westin hotel stay at the Toronto airport. Walkable to the metro and to a great grocery store, Wegmans!

I liked this property with regard to the service. I really appreciated their willingness to make my stay much more enjoyable. The rooms were clean! Although there is not a pool or a spa available, I was treated to an excellent stay. Will be an option on my next trip back!

The staff was very responsive. I needed to heat some food and requested a microwave, within 5 mins it was delivered to my room. I'm not sure if there was breakfast, I did not see any and it was neither mentioned when I checked-in. The room was clean and cozy, lots of sunlight, the hallways had a very fresh and floral scent, overall I had an amazing experience staying at the Westin.

Great location - 15 min. Walk from the metro everything was beautiful - and I appreciated they still did a room clean up daily, as opposed to many hotels which have started doing every other day. The bar was nice - the one time my husband and I went in. We had no issues and staff was very friendly

Fabulous hotel! The only place to stay in Alexandria!

The hotel is lovely and so is the staff. The area around the hotel is very safe with lots of dining and shopping options. My one complaint is a pretty big one. Unfortunately, I don't think there's much they can do about it. They are located near the subway slash train station. If you're at the back of the hotel, which my room was, you hear the trains all throughout the day and all throughout the night. It doesn't stop. It makes it very difficult to get a restful night's sleep. I wish they would have better windows that block out the sound better. Something they might want to think about. So, if you're a light sleeper or if you're in town for something important and need a good night's sleep, unfortunately, I would not recommend the hotel.

Incredible service. Staff was very accommodating. Hotel offers many complimentary items. For example I needed a shaver so I went to purchase one in their convenience store and they said it was complimentary! And they gave me shaving cream! Will definitely be staying here again.

Firstly, this hotel was in an excellent location. I parked in the parking garage nearby for a very cheap rate and I ubered to and from the waterside which was like 15 minutes away. The hotel room was clean and the view was amazing. The room could have been cleaner. The bed and pillows were amazing. I had a very comfortable sleep. I love the scent in my room and the hotel in general. The toilet bowl was super low so not ideal for persons who are tall or have knee issues.The staff was very professional. Overall, I would stay here again and definitely recommend it for others who wanna do a getaway to a cute small town.

We were only there for one night. Great staff and I appreciate the Sparkling Cider gift for my birthday. Such a cute, quaint area and I wish we could've stayed longer.

This is a hidden gem in old town Alexandria. Just skip the valet parking and self park in the garage across the street for $10/night. It’s quiet, clean, and accessible to the metro and Kings St.

We had a fabulous stay here. The housekeeping refreshed everything everyday. The workout area met our needs and offered a view of the courthouse. When we wanted to get closer to old town, we had a driver to take us. Well definitely recommend this hotel to others and book here again in the future when we visit.

The room was amazing, bathroom wasn’t quite as clean as I’d like. Tub needed something to prevent slipping because it got slick. I enjoyed the shower fixtures that were modern and updated. There was not a microwave which posed a small inconvenience. Would have also been nice if there was a pool. A/c worked amazing as heat index was 107. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Will definitely return.

I found the beds, bedding and pillows rather uncomfortable and the shower needed to be repaired-it leaked.The postered chair in the room was stained. The staff was helpful and the lobby area is attractive and welcoming. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was very nice.

When you make a reservation on line, we did not see a notification that parking would be $45 per day. If it was on the site, it is not obvious. I sent an email to the Westin asking if there was other parking options and did not receive a reply. I notice the courthouse is next door. There must be a parking option for the courthouse. That option should be made available to your guest.

The hotel offers valet parking at $45/day, which we opted for. If you're going to DC, this property is about a 10-minute walk to the Metro. Although the hotel offers shuttle service, we opted to walk. There's more to the workout room than is shown in the pictures. My wife and I travel a lot, and this was clearly one the best properties we've stayed at.Our next trip to DC, we'll definitely give this hotel STRONG consideration.

I did not like the temperature of the shower. It was either cold or scolding. There was no in between. When I brought this to the front desk's attention they sent someone up to check on it. He was no help. He merely told me how to operate the shower.

Our stay was good. The hotel lobby continuously had a nice fragrance. The only negatives were the bathroom counter was too small and they do not allow self parking.

This was a 4 star hotel and I paid more in comparison to the other hotel. However, the services and amenities that I received was bad. This is more like a 2 star hotel. Front desk was super rude and not professional when I ask about things. There is no microwave in the room. There is no freezer in the fridge. So, I couldn’t keep my ice pack for my eyes.

I appreciated this hotel in every aspect! It was clean, employees were friendly and accommodating and I love the option of having a bar that was in the hotel. Downtown DC was about 25 mins and about 20 mins from the monument and holocaust/african museums.

I forgot my boots in the room, 20 minutes later when I called from the airport, the guest service told me that they will check and call me back. This hotel was excellent! It was clean and really comfortable. The staff was amazing and accommodated my needs. I'm picky about where I stay and I loved it here.

The hotel is in a great location close to restaurants that are walking distance. It’s a fog friendly hotel and neighborhood. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel and both were delicious. The hotel manager Giovanni is an absolute gem and very professional. The staff looks happy to work there.

It was a excellent hotel. I would stay again when I'm in the DC area. Park in the garage, Saturday and Sunday for free or $10 on week days. It's a 3 minute walk to the hotel.

The staff acted like it was an inconvenience that you were there. No real idea of why they were in the hospitality industry at all. For being directly across from the federal courthouse you would have thought they would understand the concept of a business guest. Boy was I wrong.
