Seems to be a lack of staff, every time I went to the office no one was available. Lack of basic amenities in the entrance and throughout the property e.g. trash cans etc.

Besides that everything else was good.

It was like having a piece of home. They way other tenants treat it as if no one else has to use it after them causing damage and extra work for staff. A general lack of respect.

Clean room at a good location. Whole property is very clean. A better reading light in bed is needed.

1st time at this hotel and will definitely look and book again as it was clean and quiet and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Thank you.

Everything truly was so spot on that my boyfriend and I didn’t want to leave. We definitely enjoyed our stay and will be using this company again in the near future.

I thought the apartment was nicely laid out and equipped with the essentials. There were a few things I felt that needed more attention to the housekeeping in the kitchen. Those were the dishwasher, the coffee maker and toaster. Also the globes on the ceiling lights were littered with dead insects.

The bed was super comfy. The room was clean. I felt very safe. The grounds we neat and clean as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room I was in had a weird smell. Not really bad but kind of like maybe the room under me was a smoking room. We needed more towels.

The room was way more like an apartment. We were able to spread out and actually eat meats together at the bar. The kitchen makes it easy for you to cook food and save money on going out to eat. It felt like a cozy home away from home rather than just another hotel room.

Yes parking was convenient and thr kitchen was very well accessable and useful for the time. I really liked this hotel and the staff was friendly.

These suites were exceptional, from parking to location to staff to cleanliness to comfort. Staff was extremely helpful. Fast check-in, cooled rooms, water pressure spot on, beds extremely comfortable, excellent coffee. I was extremely pleased to stay here.

Room clean but had horrible roach bait smell that never faded the whole 2 days there. Bedroom tv not functioning to watch. Office not open when we left so left keys in unit. Close to places we planned to visit .

This was a long term place. It was comfortable, clean and well kept. The staffing was more like a landlord so not always accessible and they put the luggage carts up at night which was not convenient for us.

The room had enough soace and there was a kitchen area. The carpet in the bedroom smelled like feet. The beds were hard and the sheets were not fitted nor large enough to be securely made. The inner courtyard was constantly noisey with kids screaming non-stop for hours on end, which the staff allowed. The area around the building was extremely noisey with people sitting in their cars idling for hours, having loud conversations in the parking lot, and people racing their cars along the street. The door and windows were thin and so allowed in all noise. Also the walls were thin allowing the TVs and voices in neighboring rooms to easily enter my room. The staff was just not around when I tried to check out at 10am on a Saturday. I waited for 20 minutes but no one came.

All accommodations I used within the room were excellent. Up to date appliances and very clean. However by design fault , I found lighting an issue, both trying to see in bathroom mirror only light is behind you and bedroom ceiling light doesn’t light the room well.

Staff , Manager and Regional Manger are the Best. The Rooms are too Closed In. The shades was broken, and other people could look into your room. ( peep that). The Carpet smell like dogs , it was poop on the carpet( dried up). I would not stay there again Carpet , shades. Separating Dog rooms from people without dogs

Location I reported a situation regarding kitchen items not working or missing, an area that was dirty, but I didn’t get a response until 5 days later.

They have a little roach problem in the kitchen at night. However, securing my food items in the refrigerator did prevent any health issues.

Clean Location- next to hw it was very noisy . Main room didn’t have closet . We as a group ( two families) were suppose to share closet! That doesn’t work if ur two families . No sir

The room was spacious for just the two of us and the addition of the kitchen was great. We really loved having plenty of room to spread out over the almost 2 weeks we were there. The bed was comfortable but not the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The kitchen could have had a few more things like a baking dish, cutting board and maybe a smaller knife but we made it work with what we had and it was totally fine. The most annoying thing was that it’s posted in the courtyard that children are not to be out there unsupervised under a certain age and this was not enforced. There were 2 very young children running around screaming the last few days we were there. I would definitely stay there again though because overall it was a really positive experience.

There was a strange smell in the room. We couldn't make it out.

Kitchen area Smelling weed, no latch on the door, no toilet seat lid. Housekeeper unlocking door and coming in while we were there. Poor lighting in the bed area. No do not disturb sign to hang on the door.

If I had any complaint, it would be that the showerhead had rust on it, and that was where the water came out of the spout and there were bugs in the bathroom, not a lot, but that would be my only issue

An excellent, clean place. The credit-card deposit was refunded within 24 hours. The TV in the living room did not work and, in any case, no remote control unit was provided. I used the TV in the bedroom.

I liked the property its calm and quite and its close to a lot of places to get a quick bite. Its very clean and spacious and they give you all that you need in a kitchen.

We normally stay with family but to give each other space we booked this place.what a gem clean quiet and acres of room in the apartment with a huge comfy bed the staff are so friendly and nothing is to much trouble and even though it's on route 1 it's set far enough back to be very quiet and peaceful at night fantastic experience and we will definitely be booking again as we visit fort hunt 3 times a year to stay with family far far superior to a hotel room or air BnB which we have used in the past

My third stay here and as always it was a good stay! Water pressure wasn't the best but no different than any other hotel. Bummer that you have to pay for doing laundry but with the price of the stay I cant really complain. Look forward to my next stay

The service was very friendly from all the staff and I really appreciated how the entire place (room, grounds, office) was maintained well! I will never stay here again.... the area is not safe it was way too much fighting going on in the late night...Upon arrival the lady at the front desk was rude and was missing on both time I went down to the front desk for assistant and the office was still open. The room was clean but not clean. for a new hotel it should of been spotless. The dishes were not clean and my tub was dirty with hair still in it. The lights by the bed were not working and it smelled like cigarette smoke very disappointed

I would recommend StayApt at fort belvoir to anyone who wants a nice and quiet place to rest and feel like home. My fiance and I stayed for 14 days and not once was my peace and/or comfortability compromised. My overall favorite thing was that the price was extremely reasonable.

I had stayed there six months before and I was excited to return, but the condition of the furniture and the cleanliness was not as good as my last visit.

What I didn't like was the fact that there was not always a staff member available, that someone actually tried to break into one of the fire doors, that my kitchen smelled like cat urine, that the bathroom in the gym area was constantly locked, that there was a domestic disturbance where one of the guests was actually evicted. I'm thinking there is section 8 housing happening in this location.

I’m honestly not sure why this property has so many good reviews. The room we stayed in smelled like cigarettes and some kind of old musty smell. The couch was stained all over and the floor was dirty. The end tables next to the bed had bits of crumbs and something sticky on them. I had to clean up some water in the bathroom and the towel I used to wipe it with turned dirty. I was charged $75 more than what was originally emailed to me as the “price you pay” from Expedia for literally no reason. The chairs in the kitchen area had crumbs all over them. We told the lady at the front about the smell in the room and was told it must be due to what the room next to us was cooking. That was not a cooking smell, it literally made our clothes stink and I had to wash them as soon as we got home. The shower’s water pressure comes out so hard that it literally hurts your skin. I would not recommend this property at all.

They allow dogs so you'll probably get to listen to them too, like we did ALL NIGHT LONG. Paper thin, unsoundproofed walls and ceilings, concrete mattresses, and the most uncomfortable living room furniture possible. To save $30 over others nearby is definitely not worth it.

We loved the center courtyard and how roomy this was. This was our first time at a StayAPT but definitely not our last

Great value for the area! We have a toddler and it was nice to have a 2 room hotel room with a kitchen for such an affordable price. Also safe area with lots of convenient shopping.

My stay was beyond great. Felt like home. The only thing that’s negative but not really negative is the tv was hard to turn the tv station on direct but other than that this was a wonderful stay. Highly recommend

This is one of the best stays I’ve been apart of. This was my first time staying with StayApts, and I was not disappointed in the slightest. From the fully stocked kitchen to the common lounge area, it was all very nice in my opinion. Will definitely look to stay at the other StayApts in other areas in the future!

We enjoyed mostly everything; with one exception. I thought having 2 TVs would be nice. But, the room layout really needs to have the bedroom section enclosed with a wall and door. It was difficult having both TVs on at the same time. The sound from one interrupted the viewing in the other room. Other than that, enjoyed the kitchen, bar counter top and stools, the bathroom was spacious and the beds were comfortable.

Great Stay!! Huge shout out to Janelle! I found her to be professional, welcoming, friendly, and serious about taking care of her guests. My stay was great, but she made it better with a positive attitude and willing to assist in making sure her guests are comfortable. I would stay again!

Bed is comfortable and cozy There is not a common area except for the grassy area with a barbecue at salon Terrace if that’s important to you. Check out this easy breezy!

Nice Place To Stay

We were in area for a family get together. It was a very nice place. They have a nice courtyard that you're able to hang out in. There was seating and even a grill. Very pleased with everything about this place. Best smallest apartment. Highly recommend.

I didn’t like that they reuse the room with people that have pets! They change $150 for pet and the room smell like every pet that stay here! We have spent money on products to get rid of the strong odor from the other pets.

We like this location. We recommend you treat the outdoor carpeting for mold/mildew in the summer if possible because the smell is a bit strong

I loved the overall stay at the suite/apt. Staff, when they are there at office hours were nice and attentive. The space was clean and comfortable. We loved being able to use the kitchen to cook our meals. Would recommend others to stay when vacationing.

It was only one person for the front desk. She also was the house keeper.

The apartment was like new! I have no complaints at all!

However, we stayed at APT June 14, 2024 thru June 16, 2024 in room 207. The room conditions were awful. The microwave handle was broken, making it hard to open. The oven temperature could not be read, making the oven nonuse able, the coffee pot did not work. There were very few dishes and pans to cook with. Room 207 has been run down with no repairs. We informed the front desk about the issues. Nothing was done. A replacement coffee pot was offered but never delivered. We will have to find somewhere else to stay.

However, they really should make sure to go beyond the surface cleaning. There were lots of scratches and marks on the walls. We had a broken cabinet door in the kitchen and we were missing one set of dish wear out of the four. The upholstery in the livingroom area had stains, so we took it upon ourselves to clean the entire room leaving it better than we got it. Unfortunately, during our stay we had neighboring guests who had a domestic argument we could hear from our room which was very inappropriate. I believed Stay apt is an upscale extended stay for long-term stays. Many guests seem to be living in their units for some time. Overall it was worth the money and allowed us to have options and room to cook and sleep up to six people which was or goal. I would stay there again if I visited Washington in the future.

Overall it was a pretty good stay. Not as clean as I thought it would be. The main sitting area tv remote didn’t fully work properly. Didn’t have enough dishes in the room upon arrival. The service was great easy to work with in taking care of those issues and personable people. Outside of those things everything else was great.

Every time we visit the stay apt. It’s always comfortable, clean, quiet, convenient and nice service.

Staff was really inattentive. Suite had previous marks from other people. It also had a smell that came with the room.

This far exceeded my expectations. There was a full kitchen, a living area with a very nice sized tv, the mattresses were really comfortable as were the pillows. The towels were really good quality. They even have a gas grill and a fire pit available for guests to use. Check in was easy and the woman who checked me in was as nice as can be.

The APT suites @ alexandria/belvoir are great!-your home away from home! Nice & roomy with 2 TVs(bedroom & living)..Very clean & fresh feeling! The staff was wonderful & went out of their way to help out & get things done! Now, for the water problems - the bathroom sink had no hot water & no pressure to shave/brush teeth etc & the toilet was installed crooked & not stable(toilet was loose & wobbled every time you got up. Also, the bathtub is very high on the side(hard to get in) & desperately needs a major holding bar & many more secure strips on the bottom of tub. I'm sure these will be fixed. The stay was lovely & will definitely stay at Apt suites again

Our room was clean and the bed was so cozy! It’s in a great area and we felt very safe and comfortable the whole time! The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing was our bedroom tv was broken but that’s not a huge deal, because there’s 2 tv’s. I would definitely stay here again!

Great room for the price. Comfortable with all the amemities you need. Easily accessible to many parts of the dmv. Staff was very helpful and kind. Would definitely stay again.

Highly recommend, however, it's not incredibly convenient without a car. If you plan to walk to get groceries or a bite to eat, the highway has neither a sidewalk nor a shoulder to walk on. We ended up catching a Lyft on the way back from our 0.8 mile walk for safety reasons. The walk there required us to walk on the other side of the guard rails and then wait for the road to clear to get back over once we reached the creek. That doesn't take anything away from our stay, but others may like to know the walkability factor is low except for Roy Rogers and pizza right next door.
