    Staff was helpful. Rooms where specious and clean. There were some small cracks in the shower walls, but very superficial. WiFi worked on most of the devices. Would definitely stay there again.

    First of all the hotels room have roaches and the other issue was that the manger on day time just took my 50 dollars deposit say thay had made a mistake my receipt said different I was never reimburse my 50 bucks I recommend not this hotel

    For the price and location the room was good. Older hotel but kept up well enough. Hot breakfast with lots of carb choices. No fresh fruit. Only hard boiled eggs for protein. Had coffee, juices, and yogurt. Good enough for a one night stay on a road trip.

    What makes this place the Best is the Front Desk Staff. The ladies here go above average service to accommodate & take care of their customers. The rooms were clean & comfortable.     What I didn’t like was the smell of the carpet. It was quite strong when we first entered the room, although it seemed to get better later on — maybe we just got used to it. The drainage system was also poor. The bathtub filled up while showering because the water wasn’t draining fast enough. Overall, I would stay here again and would recommend it.

    Low price in comparison with the alternatives. This property is good for a quick “It will do.” overnight stay. Clean enough but very much in need of infrastructure repair. When we opened the outside door to our room, we found the hotel cleaning staff in the room warming their evening meal. They returned and sprayed air freshener then left it clean enough. Lack staff and sorta clean was their motto.

    This Quality Inn is a very affordable choice in the Washington DC area. The hotel is located between the capitol and Mount Vernon so both destinations are close by. It is a no frills hotel with minimum amenities or other frills. The beds, shower, AC were all good and the room was quiet throughout the night.

    The AC unit has a hole so the heat from the outside comes inside, so the room will never be cold the first night I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and there was roaches so they transferred me to a new room and in that room before I even got to settle in there was bed bugs on the towels in the bathroom just crawling and the bedsheets are all stained. It’s just the worst place to stay so I suggest you guys don’t spend your money, not worth it better to spend a little more.

    We enjoyed our stay at this hotel but I most want to recognize Christy Carter the gracious and friendly front desk clerk. In a very tactful way she recommended us using a different form of transportation to use while going into DC for sightseeing. Driving in DC can be challenging and parking is expensive and scarce.     This is an average hotel and a decent value for the price. The bedsheets were very soft and there was an okay variety at breakfast (waffles and sometimes pancakes when the machine worked, in addition to the typical continental finds, but no meat or eggs). It was a convenient location halfway between Mount Vernon and the park and ride for the DC metro. The fridge in our room had spilled liquid stains inside, and the shower curtain was not wide enough to cover both ends of the tub, but these were the only issues.

    The room had roaches and mold. I think this place gets a failing grade just based on that. The walls are super thin and it is noisy outside. You will get woken up by garbage trucks and other loud machinery at 5 AM. Staff was mostly fine, but one woman on a smoke break started yelling at me as I looked for my friend's room at like 8 PM asking what I was doing. I don't think this is in a great area but I can't imagine yelling at people in the dark is a good idea. This place is cheaper than some surrounding options but not nearly cheap enough to justify all of the bad points.

    Absolutely everything in that place need to be brought in to the present time, from the key fabs, to the bed, the old carpet with a strange odor, the mini-fridge that never turned on, the list is extensive. The staff was nice and courteous, except for the manager that was on staff the last day, she had red hair and I believe she mentioned she was the hotel GM. She did did not take feedback well and before I uttered the last word on my first sentence I felt like I was on a boxing match. I just stopped, once again thanked the rest of the staff and left her be. I refused to joined her in that space or match all that attitude.

    The woman at the front desk wore a blank expression. She was not pleasant, but not unpleasant. She seemed not to care. Oh, well. Some people are like that. Perhaps she was having a bad day. Another woman at the desk was very nice and told us about restaurants in the area. The room was reasonably clean, but there was a cockroach on the wall. I killed it and took a photo. Yuk. The hotel was quiet, but not even half full. The faucet on the sink was loose and had to be steadied with one hand in order to turn on the water with the other hand. There were a few blood spots on one of the curtains. I could see how that could be missed by cleaners. The AC didn't work well. Light from outside came into the room on all sides of the undersized drapes. The BR is a bit tight. Again... oh, well. BUT - the bed was VERY COMFORTABLE. Yay.

    Room had a live roach in dresser. Dead one next to 2nd bed. Mini fridge not clean. My daughter actually slipped in the tub even with the tub mat inside. Thankfully, she wasnt injured badly. Outside of that, there are good rstuarants nearby for DoorDash. Staff at reception desk were kind. Wheelchair accessibile bathroom was very easy to use (the tub my daughter used was in its separate room/ section).

    The room was infested with roaches, necessitating the extermination of several. The room was in a state of disrepair and emitted an unpleasant odor.     The property was ok. I had to book a quick hotel for 1 day, because I needed a place to stay for a quick trip and chose this one out of convenience of distance from where I needed to be, but I would not be back. This inn looks old and needed lots of repairs. The pool floor paint was all chipped up and It was dirty. I seen 2 dead roaches on the carpet and a few that came out when I turned the light off. I honestly prayed they didn't go in my suitcase.

    Mind you, I'm a survivor of sex trafficking and police brutality. I'm a female transgender. I'm homeless and I stay in hotels for safety. I found an apartment hotel a year ago but was evicted recently. As you can see in my account activity I used to be able to afford my trips but I'm now exhausted. I don't have the energy to explain my situation to everyone. For some reason, the staff of this hotel treated me like I'm an outcast and they were doing me a huge favor. I was forbidden from extending my stay yesterday because I overslept this morning. They threatened with calling the police. Right now I'm seating in a restaurant that opens all night, spending money I don't have. I'm just tired of everything, no matter how much I try to get back on my feet, I get treated like a second class person. Please contact this business and tell them to stop being so evil, nobody needs to be treated with this cruelty. Sincerely.

    When we finally reached this Quality Inn, after a long drive, it was so comforting to be greeted kindly by front desk person (Paula). Handicap access room reflected mindfulness of door width, grab bars for shower. Dinner recommendations were helpful. Price for room was very reasonable. Breakfast was excellent with hot and cold offerings. Would definitely return.

    There were emergency sirens all night. People hanging out in their doorways smoking/vaping. I'm a strong 6'2" male with military experience and I didn't feel safe. The staff is the only reason I think it has the decent rating that it does and the only reason I give it 2 stars. They were very helpful, professional and kind. The breakfast was pretty decent.

    It was horrible to stay, I found bugs in the bed and wall and ground, I push the hotel to confirm they will not offer this kind of room to me, but they said they cannot guarantee this, I got bitten by the bugs, nobody would like to be responsible for this, will never choose this hotel again in future!

    Don't be deceived by the company Quality Inn photo. This is not representative of the rooms you will be staying in. Rooms are very out dated. I would guess this is a hotel was built in the 60s. Did not feel safe here. Numerous people were sitting outside in their cars in the heat of the day which made me wonder what was really going on at this location. Breakfast choices were very limited. I would guess anyone giving this location a 10/10 is either an employee or owner completing a review. The only good thing about this place was the staff were friendly and it was close to our destination of Mount Vernon.

    We stayed for 2 nights for a friends wedding reception and were very happy. Yes there were a few things that were worn (mostly bathroom) but the rest of the room was very clean and had the feel of an executive suite. Shower pressure was great and the air conditioner was quiet. (2 of our pet peeves). The breakfast was amazing!! Clean, good coffee and loads of options above and beyond the typical offerings. I actually left my wallet and they found it and assisted me with shipping it promptly.

    NIKKI WAS RUDE, WENT TO THE ROOM TRYED BOTH KEY, EITHER OF THEM WORK. WALKED BACK DOWN STAIR. TOLD HER KEY DIDNT WORK. SHE ROLLED HER EYE, TOOK KEY. She handed the keys back to me, and told the other front desk, she going do her round, then told me she would meet me at room. Walk back to them room, and again key doesnt work. She now has to open with key. She open room and then walk in and try to turn on a/c. To me it seem like she knew this room was messed up and still gave it to us. We just were on 15hr road trip, dont have time to fins another hotel, believe if i was alone i would of. So everyone trying get ready to go to sleep cause all exhausted. And now a/c doesnt work. So now we have to go back down stair and get a new room. Which we did but why all the bs first. This hotel is horriable do not stay here

    Room was soo old with torn lampshades, tub had stains, the door to the room had wood shavings coming off and it was broke it wouldnt shut right had to keep slamming it to close properly, burn marks on vanity counter, air conditioner was not working properly kept turning itself on and off..property had alot of spider webs on the stairs and walkways

    Even though there were no cars in the parking lot, they did not have our rooms ready. We waited an hour and a half and got one room that had no ac. We had to change rooms. The Next Room had water all over the floor on the carpet. Disgusting. There was a smell so bad that our other family members would not come to our room. The hair dryer was broken, the phone was broken, the iron board was broken. It was a complete slum.

    First, I wanted to get my check-in 3 1/2 stars because the guest service person was professional, but a little indifferent after I requested a different room. Second, the furnishings are older and starting to wear and should possibly be replaced. I bring my cleaning supplies so I can go over things that are typically missed in cleaning. Third, the room was very clean! However, the door to the room definitely needs to be worked on, it had/has gaps that gave me a feeling of not being as safe. Fourth, the area/location is changing and more undesirable situations have become more frequent (I’ve been staying at this hotel when I’m in the area since 2017). I think there is security (I know it was last year), but not sure now. Fifth, checkout was positive. And last (and not positive), while in the room where the continental breakfast is offered, the attendant was cleaning, she dropped the cloth that she was using on her shoe and floor, without hesitation, picked it up and continued to wipe the waffle maker, and other items without ever washing or getting another cloth— that is so unsanitary, and a very big turn off!!

    Everyone was very nice and friendly! The woman working the breakfast was incredibly kind and worked hard to make sure everyone had everything they needed. We had a wedding and they were able to accommodate a late checkout which we were very thankful for.

    Cons - The beds were not very comfortable. The pillows also were not great. Some reviewers seem to really love the breakfast that is provided, but we were not impressed. There were no hot options other than bread items (so no eggs or sausage or anything like that). There were only two waffle irons to service the entire breakfast crowd, and the breakfast room was very warm. We actually left to get breakfast.

    Our hotel was dirty. Carpet felt dusty refrigerator had cheese in it (not sure how long it was in there) the beds did not feel clean. We went to the store and brought cleaning products to clean the room. The overall experience was not good. Plus our room was not even touched after we left a few times so we had to sleep in the same old sheets. We had to ask for clean towels after someone went into the room and picked up the ones we used. It was an awful experience and we wont be coming back.

    This was an ok motel. Had reservations for a couple months and when we showed up at 3:30 one of the eooms wasn't ready. We went to eat and came back around 4:40 and the room still qasnt ready. The girl at the desk was very apologetic and tryimg to be patient with disgruntled customers. I just sat and waited. I like the bigger bottles of bath products.

    The breakfast was great! The plumbing is a little old so you can hear when other rooms are taking showers, but for a quick trip it was great-- close to Alexandria, Mt. Vernon, and DC proper. Beds were comfy and the room was clean. It was convenient to have a 7-11, CVS, and some fast food within walking distance.

    Clean room, great staff but the AC/Heater makes a lot of noise when turn on, had to turn it off in the middle of the night, the carpet seems thatis too old because it smells bad. Besides that everything seems good.
