Any questions that I had regarding the area was answered. We had one issue with the safe as the previous person failed to unlock it. A maintenance engineer quickly came to the room and addressed it.

The staff was nice. The hotel and room were clean but the bed was so uncomfortable.

Breakfast was great and food staff kept everything freshly filled even though we had 3 buses of middle schoolers eating with us one morning

Parking is no longer free and IHOP is not open 24 hours a day: Both were advertised when I booked the room weeks before. Those 2 details were my deciding factors for this hotel since I travel to this area often, know how pricey it is, the amount of traffic and difficulty navigating to get food and be safe at odd hours. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was in a really odd place between a neighbourhood and a shopping center. It was fine for my purposes, I just had business in the area, but I probably wouldn't stay again for any other reason. Entertainment was pretty limited with the TV.

We have always stayed here. Multiple times a year. They never charged for overnight parking and they did this time. They always gave a voucher for breakfast at ihop, but now offer their own. Problem with that, times are limited and so many people trying to get their food at the same time made it very frustrating when they ran out of something leaving you to wait.

Serviceable spot for an overnight stay. Room was nice. Two queen beds, well appointed bathroom. Breakfast was just ok. They must have recently switched from the ihop breakfast to the standard hotel continental type. Overall, a good stay, especially since close to interstate and old town was a short drive.

Hotel is clean and pleasant fragrance when you walk in the lobby. Staff( front desk and housekeeping) were friendly and helpful. Two of my family members forgot their toothbrushes which was provided ( complimentary) by front desk staff. Complimentary breakfast was provided by IHOP which was on-site. Breakfast was great.

The hotel is really nice and clean. The young woman who checked us in was wonderful and engaging. Our room was nice however the bathrooms were super small. I stubbed my toe several times trying to lose the door justvtonuse the toilet. I could also hear the man in the other room hacking and coughing very clearly. My shower experience was amazing. Powerful,hot, i bring my own body wash but theirs smelled lovel. .After our long trip we checked in and rushed back out for dinner reservations. Upon our return my husband mentioned something was missing from our room. We didn't have any seating for him to watch the basketball game. No sofa, chair or table even. That was so far the only inconvenience. It was too late to request one. We were tired. He just sat at the foot of the bed. Breakfast was 7 - 9 at IHop so that was good but not long enough. There is a nice gym available, and my husband loved that there was a 24 hour IHOP (breakfast available any time!). The room was pleasant, and it was helpful that there was an iron, hair dryer, microwave, coffee maker and little frig. The only downside is that there is a shopping center right next door, and was sometimes a bit noisy.

It was a nice stay & would definitely recommend to a friend. Disliked the mattress and pillows, very cheap and hurt my back. Other than that, everything was decent and the ihop attached is great.

Only issue we had was with the water they were doing construction the first few hours of us getting there we had no water. Then when the water did come on it was like warm. But other than that everything was great! The staff was super nice and friendly, loved that the ihop is connected and the free breakfast. We did get a refund for our troubles, definitely will return if I’m ever in VA !

However, there was a minor issue with our door holder, which I reported three times, but unfortunately, it was never addressed. While this didn’t significantly impact our stay, I would have appreciated more attention to the request. One thing to note – the plaza across from the hotel felt a little sketchy, so I’d advise being cautious when visiting. On the bright side, there were plenty of good restaurants nearby, and gas stations were easily accessible. Overall, it’s a good hotel with great amenities for the price. I’d recommend it for anyone visiting the area, especially for the convenient location and comfortable accommodations.

Travelling with family for 2 nights at this location. I did not like the fixed menu breakfast policy, and I requested one extra pillow but the have denied. This was my 10 days vacation and I booked all Marriott hotels, the previous at Branford already kept enough pillows and this one denied. Location wise the hotel is in good area.

They did not have handicap accessible room I had ordered for my stay available when arrived 8 p.m. switched next day after oral surgery so wife had to move all things to another room. bathroom in 1st room had wallpaper separating from the wall.

This was my first time staying at this location. The convenience to 395 was already a steal for me and with the hotel/staff definitely exceeding my expectations, i will be staying here for my future work trips going forward!

This is an older property, so it is definitely time for a remodel. However, everything was clean, so I was fine. The surrounding area had me a little worried so I parked in the front under a light. Not sure if crime is an issue. I would not feel comfortable walking off the hotel property at night.

Fist when I heck in they give me 4 th floor that room was smelly bad odors, I come down again front desk they book another room which fifth floor is nice and clean no complaints,but luck of breakfast..

This was heaven. Husband and I were comfortable and the baby slept so well in his own cloud! The beds were plush but had a slight firmness that just made me actually sleep beautifully!

The room was nice enough. The breakfast was at the ihop and fairly rigid. The restaurant treated you like a second class citizen because we had a voucher.

This was an excellent hotel with good value. The room was clean and modern with a good refrigerator and microwave. The included breakfast at IHOP was convenient and a nice change from the usual hotel breakfast. The only critique I have is that the lobby smelled bad.
