Great place

Very old property, with extremely rude front desk personnel. One of the elevators did not work. My reservation was confirmed by Orbitz but when I checked in at 10 PM they said they were sold out and that my reservation was not there. Magically, after Orbitz tried to contact them they made one room available but only if I first cancelled with Orbitz and then booked and payed directly with them. Ice machine broken too.

I won't stay there again, The fridge in the room never worked, and the bottom sheets on the King bed did not fit (and I informed the front desk the first morning about both of these issues - nothing changed). I never could get ice out of the ice machine on the 3rd floor, the carpet in our room was damp, and one elevator was not working (out of 2 elevators). Also, the carpet in the halls had large stains. I'll go back to this area, but I'll stay somewhere else next time.

Never again. Room was not very clean. Mirror hanging off wall. Cords and hole in the wall. Saw a roach in the lobby. Carpet in hallway not vacuumed. Saw bug in bed. The only plus was that we were able to check in super early after driving all night. Shoutout to the young man with the glasses that works overnight. He is an asset to the company and should be promoted.

Our room had a very bad odor. The chair arm was broken. I asked for a different one. Went out for a few hours. Came back. Was told that there weren’t any. I asked if the motel was full, and if not, they could switch one out. The young lady got one out of a possible storage room. It was very dirty. She didn’t clean it. That arm was not safe either - screw was coming out. I think all chairs need replaced.

The upside was the breakfast..4.5 stars. Nicely cleaned and continuously cleaned room and counter areas. The buffet selection was very good, tasty and kept well supplied. Suggestion that the hotel place signage directing folks to the breakfast room in and off the elevators. Spruce up the hallway entranceway.

They are remodeling some of the rooms but we never heard any construction noise. They were very respectful to the guests in the hours they worked.

The property was easy to find, The parking was convenient, The room was clean and comfortable. I was happy with my stay.

The desk clerk could have been a bit more customer friendly. The rooms and hallways were very clean. The breakfast area was spotless. The food was fresh. They were doing updates to the property but it didn't interfere with the guest staying there. I would stay there sgain.

Having a new renovated bathroom was great. Also the bright light in the mirror was excellent for putting on makeup without guessing. Bed was very comfortable. Due to renovations the room was quite dusty. Refrigerator didnt have a freezer to keep ice packs frozen. Desk chair arms were duck taped on both sides

We stayed there just for a night while doing a road trip and the electricity went off by morning 6AM because of some transformer issue but I was hoping they would have some sort of backup power for few hours. There was no breakfast too because of the power outage. I understand about the power outage but they should have done some refund because we had to check out earlier than expected and didn't have breakfast either. We paid $120 dollars just to stay there for 5-6 hours

When we drove up to check in, the front driveway was under construction. I understand it's out of their control, but makes for an awkward check in. My husband had to stay outside with the car because there was really no place to pull over with the construction. The breakfast was disappointing at best. Saturday service is from 7am to 10am. We arrived at 940 and: 1. Coffee machine is broken 2. No bagels 3. No English muffins 4. Only 2 yogurts. If you didn't like raspberry you were out of luck. 5.There was juice but no cups 6. Pancake and waffle makers but no syrup 7. I was told you can go upstairs to the lobby and get coffee. I did and it was EMPTY!!!! There was one woman "working" the breakfast area but I'm not sure what she did considering the above comments.

Clean room. Comfortable bed. Weird pillows that were kind of half sized. Great breakfast with waffles! No label or markings on floors when going up or down the steps making it difficult to walk up and down the steps instead of taking the elevator.

The entire front of the hotel entrance was under construction. We had to enter through a side door which was unpleasant and also could not be locked per usual. There was no warning about this.

Fantastic front desk staff.

The entire stay was horrible. The place smelled, the rooms were not well maintained and the staff is lazy. I asked for my room to be vacuumed and they dropped it off and here you go. I complained about a bunch of kids running in the hallway and disturbing my sleep knowing I had an early day, the gentleman said they are kids and just getting settled in. I wish I could get my money back. I would never stay there again and I will advise all of my friends traveling to that area not to stay there either.

The check in agent was very helpful and very pleasant. Pillows were awful and hard to get comfortable. At breakfast, the waffle mix was empty and I waited almost 15 mins for the employee to (minimally) refill it. Milk and cereals were almost okay and there was another hour left in service.

Short trip to see Mt Vernon. Hotel was one of the close drive to property. Staff was nice and recommended a place for dinner. Property was quiet. Breakfast was good. Our AC unit didn’t cool, but we were wore out and finally got to sleep. Would stay again.

Overall, my stay was a mixed bag. The interior of the hotel was perfectly fine and well-maintained, but the first impression was a bit rough. There were several construction areas flanking both sides of the entrance, which made the exterior look quite cluttered and not very visually appealing. As for the amenities, the room was clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. It met expectations without being particularly standout. The breakfast, to be honest, wasn’t great. It was functional, but the quality could definitely be improved. The highlight of the trip was the staff. Every team member I encountered was incredibly friendly and professional, providing excellent service despite the ongoing renovations. Overall, It was just okay. It’s a decent, functional place to crash. #JustOkay

We were initially assigned a room on the 3rd floor, but a group of young men were loitering in the corridor, whispering comments like "a family is here" when they saw us — which felt uncomfortable and unsafe. We had to request a room change to the 1st floor to feel secure. I would not recommend this property to families. Management needs to address guest behavior and basic facility maintenance.

My complaint or concern was safety related. We had a next door neighbor who were in the middle of some family drama. They were on the phone walking up and down the hallway discussing calling the cops on someone. Then they proceeded back to their room and were fighting until 2:00 a.m. I called the desk, they told me they would check the camera and take care of it. The couple continued. I was really scared for our safety.

Hotel was good, basic. On arrival one little bottle of shampoo for my wife and I to share, crappy soap, dried out our skin. (Believe me I’m no primadonna. The soap was bad). The next day 3 little bottles of shampoo were added to our room, without me asking, all good. No grab bar in the shower, younger people that probably doesn’t matter, I’m 70, it was a concern. Anyway basic stay, basic hotel, water was nice and hot, it was fine, no frills hotel. Breakfast was not good, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, breakfast gravy all good. Biscuits, cereal, stale. We skipped the breakfast the next day.

Room reeked of cigarette smoke. Second night someone was smoking what smelled like marijuana. Fan on air conditioner would only work if thermostat set at lowest setting. Room was not cleaned. Trash was not taken out. No clean towels provided. If you go to Mount Vernon, stay in one of the other two hotels.

Our stay was brief but I was impressed. Stacey at the front desk was the nicest person! So helpful and genuinely nice.

Room is clean and spacious. Refrigerator and microwave oven in the room are very helpful for family traveling with kids. The coffee served in the breakfast dinning room lacks taste and seems very diluted. Surprisingly, the coffee from the machine near the reception is actually better.

Our stay was okay..fairly standard hotel..nothing special. The breakfast was good but staged on their lower level. Made the atmosphere a little basement like. However, the meal was good, the area very clean.

This is the perfect place for a stop over during a long drive home. Clean, friendly staff, easy to get to and easy to get back on the thruway from there. Also goo dwalking opportunity in a nearby park

Only small issue was the tv reception kept going into searching mode. So about every few minutes it kinda rebooted. I was able to watch a game i wanted to watch, but it could have been a better experience if the reception was better.

Very good customer service and clean

I've stayed at the Fairfax location but this is my first visit here. It's clean, quiet, upgraded amenities. The staff is professional and friendly. They address your needs in a timely matter. I didn't request room services but Marcus asked if I needed any towels or anything. I told him I bring my own but I appreciate him asking. I signed up for 1 day but I just extended my stay. After a bad experience with Quality Inn, I feel like I just entered heaven on earth. The Continental breakfast was good also with a good variety, unlike the Quality Inn. This is a very good place to stay.

This was our second time staying here. The staff at the front desk even recognized us from our last stay and made us feel very welcome. The bathroom had been renovated with a nice walk in shower. The room was clean and well laid out.We enjoy the breakfast with a wide selection of hot and cold foods.

Excellent service, clean, safe, free parking, and a hot breakfast. What else can you ask for? Great value.

Nice hotel

It was a great visit overall. Great location, not too far where my son lived. Breakfast food was great. Outstanding menu. Only issue noticed a traveler who ate was coughing in every area with food and using his hands to cover his mouth. Probably would be good if there is sanitizer around for people like that.

We needed a last minute stay. Found this location and it was a very nice and quiet place. Bed was comfy and the room was very clean. Breakfast had a nice array of selections as well. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

The area around the hotel was so-so. The property is a little hilly which can be difficult for someone in a wheel chair to get from the car to the lobby. The shower stalls are slippery. The beds were too high and it is difficult for someone with mobility issues to get in and out of bed. This seems to be a common problem in all hotels. Also the AC control displey panels had issues and determining what the temperature setting was couldn't be determined.
