La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Albuquerque Journal Ctr NW

Nothing to like. TV wasn't working. Called front desk. Attendant went to check it. Couldn't figure it out and told me he would send maintenance next morning to look at it. Never showed up. Went to eat breakfast in the lobby. They only had a couple of choices. Tables were dirty. There were cobwebs on the window in the dining area. Counter where food was dirty. The shower had peeling caulking with black stuff on it probably mold. Carpet along hallway stained and dirty. Will never stay there again.

Ok to stay while lots of renovation is going on. Lots of renovation work and untidy look all over the place. Facility definitely needs a huge face-lift after all the renovation.

The hallways rug was nasty and besides the bad stains they did not vacune clean it. At the end of a hallway on my room’s side there was a wide debri area. Also, the room was not clean a couple of days even when the sign was left at the door. The outside of the hotel was dirty, not cared. I had to change the original room as the A/C was not working properly and in the room Inqas switched to did not have a mini fridge or micro. One night I went to the front desk to request something, the clerk was profoundly sleeping and did not woke up even when I attempted several times. Finally, the pool was closed “waiting for the city inspection.” In a few words I was very disappointed at the site. I have stayed at La Quinta before and the quality appears to be low.

The staff were rude and the facility was horrible quality. I didn’t stay because I didn’t feel safe. Everything. The place was horrible quality, and the staff were rude.

Nothing Dirty

This hotel is under construction. We were put in a room on the 2nd floor and there was dry wall all over the carpet on the way to our room. The young guy who checked us in, did not give me any information about the hotel. When I went looking for ice, I had to go to the 1st floor looking lost, til he told me the only working one was on the 3rd floor. The parking lot and exterior is also very rundown. “Under Construction” or “Being Renovated” needs to be added to the title of this hotel.
