The staff was friendly and professional. No issues with them. BUT, the property is in a less favorable, rougher part of Albuquerque. The rooms smelled like cigarettes. In the room we could hear every step the person above us took. It is not for light sleepers at all, you will struggle to get a decent night's sleep. At the back door of the property, a sock was used as a door stop. Definitely would not stay here again and would not recommend to anyone else.

There were clothes on the shower rod, hair in the tub, and it smelled real bad.

Somewhere in the description of property there needs to be a warning for how bad the neighborhood is. It's not safe to walk anywhere.
-
Very old and dated. Rooms are extremely small. Floor above creaked constantly.

Rodger helped us a lot and was very nice.

We paid a fair price during the balloon fiesta. Staff was very friendly. They even prepared free bag breakfasts for those leaving early for the event. That’s impressive! The area around the hotel is run down but we felt safe. The hotel was clean!
-
It was cheap and close to the freeway, but honestly, I'll spend the extra $40 next time and stay at a better hotel.
-
Extremely unsafe area. Hotel was dirty and didn't sleep a wink due to hearing every noise from people above us. Homeless people surrounding property. Not safe with children.

Unfortunately, we had a horrible experience at this motel and ended up not staying there. We arrived in the late afternoon and we got to our room, we found a dying cockroach in the bathroom. We weren't going to take any chances of taking any roaches or roach eggs home with us. We immediately went to the front desk and told the gentleman the situation, and we requested a full refund. He said we were past the point where we could ask for a refund, but that he would give us another room. We refused and explained to him that we knew there was a very good chance there would be cockroaches in the other rooms too even if you didn't see them in the daytime. He then asked us if we had taken a picture of the roach. We told him we hadn't, but that we would go back up and take a picture. We could tell it was dying so we were sure it was still going to be there. He then told us he would not let us go to the room, but didn't give a reason. We still have the keys and they were still charging us so we told him we had every right to go to the room. He then said he would meet us at the room. We headed up and did find him waiting for us at the room. We all went in and turned on the bathroom light and the roach was still there. At that point he apologized to us and told us that it's an old building and the roaches come out in the rain. He still refused our request for a full refund and offered only to change our room which we did not accept. We strongly worn everybody to avoid this motel

Loved it great place to stay
-
Loved our experience from check-in to check out. From the front desk staff to housekeeping to the groundskeeper everyone was so helpful and professional.
-
Don’t stay here the area is very sketchy. There was noise the entire night in the hall way. Didn’t sleep because felt like my car would be broken into.

The person at the desk was wonderful. The one we dealt with a couple of yesrs ago was also great. That's why we came back beside the room being clean.
-
Hotel was clean, breakfast fine. Room fine. Area around hotel sketchy, but had issues
-
Granted nothing happened and the breakfast was actually pretty good. The staff was fine...but it should be about 30% cheaper than it is based upon the property location (scary) and the condition of hotel (old but clean).
