Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Website indicated indoor pool and outdoor pool. There is no indoor pool. A deep cleaning in the bathroom is required.

Everything was great love the location room was clean staff friendly and well organized. Definitely would book again.

If you're there during a busy time, you may want to consider a sound machine to block out hallway noises.

The entrance was like a wow! Neat clean smelt fresh! The desk staff was very polite pleasant and very attentive to what was going on with me. This is our 2nd time staying and I truly enjoy every single time! Breakfast was great except they couldn’t keep up with how much was being eaten.

Room and halls not clean, lots of small debris, like they didn’t even have a vacuum. We talked to the desk about out, they showed us to a different room, but same issue. Breakfast was ok.

Easy in and out

Staff was so helpful and nice. Checking in was smooth and they even put the basketball game on the tv in the lobby so we could all watch together. Breakfast was good. Room was clean. But had a musty smell. Location is terrific. So many places to eat and shop in the area.

We picked this hotel specially because the listing said it had an indoor pool. Upon check-in we were told that the listing was wrong and that they only had an outdoor pool. We are spending the week with our grandkids for Christmas break. You now have 2 very sad grandkids and 2 upset grandparents. We had planned to spend the evenings at the pool with them. The booking was non-refundable so were stuck here.

The 1st room was clean however it had a strong mildew smell because it was near the pool. With that said staff was very understanding and got us another room. It was also clean. We slept well. Breakfast was great!

the bldgs elevator needs attention does not work properly

The room was very clean, well supplied and quiet.

The breakfast was varied and always hot and fresh. The staff was very accommodating to us and our family members. The room was spacious. Some issues with the TV were resolve quickly.

The elevator didn't work or was so slow it was easier taking the steps... even with a bum knee.

The bad: No working exhaust fan in the bathroom. Morning staff members were just hanging out talking to each other. There were 3 at the entrance and acted like they were other guests. They were getting their own coffee, so I had to wait in line behind them. I looked towards the desk as I left and said "have a good day" and only one looked up and just said "thanks". Overall- very nice and I would recommend.

The staff was not helpful at all, they told us the elevator was slow but that was an understatment, it kept getting stuck on the second floor so I would have to take the stairs to push the button so my 77 year old mom could get on the elevator, then on the last day when it was time to take all of our luggage out to the car the elevator was out of order!!! I walked down the stairs with what luggage I could manage and asked the front desk if there was anyone that could help me with the rest so I could help my mom down the stairs, she looked at me like really!!! And the. Proceeded to tell me I’m the only one here so no I can’t help you. This place is a crap hole and the only reason people stay here is because they have to. There are no other options in the area and it shows that they know that and don’t care!!! I will stay in charlotte and drive there next time to have a better place to stay it would be worth it !!!

Only used the hotel to sleep in for two nights and everything was good except for two nights in a row the fire alarm went on early in the morning. I’m planning to stay again soon. Thanks

We've stayed twice. Both times we've been put into the wheelchair accessible rooms. Both having issues... this last stay the shower was disgusting. Visible mold in the floor and growing up the walls. The shower was almost unusable. There was no soap. The bed was comfortable. But it noisy there. You can hear all the people walking around above you. We will not be staying here again.

Our stay was great and staff were friendly and helpful.

The elevator was extremely slow. We only used the elevator to move our luggage; we used the stairs to come and go from our room. Also, the bathtub had no anti-slip devices. It had plenty of grab bars which we appreciated but we had to put the bath mat in the tub when we showered to prevent slipping.

It was a good stay for one night and I would do it again. The fitness room is missing a few sets of the dumbbells but everything else was very nice!

The room was spacious, and clean. The amenities were good, especially the pool, which the kids loved. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet. The variety of options was impressive, and everything was delicious! The hotel is located near restaurants and shops, another huge benefit. I would stay again.

Very well maintained. The check in was fast as the front desk lady was pleasent when i atrived at 3 pm. I went to the room and noticed no coffee maker but the coffee and tea pods were in the room so went down to the front desk to ask about it. It must have been shift change because A different lady was now there and said she would get one when she is not busy but never did. Also it has a beautiful outdoor pool but we weren't able to use it because the second lady locked the gate at 5 pm.

We stayed overnight in this property and we liked how clean the facility was, the staff on duty were pleasant and professional. We liked the complimentary breakfast too, the staff assigned ensured that the food was well-supplied! I highly recommend this property!

My husband, mom, and I only stayed for one night, but check-in/out was very easy and quick. The complimentary breakfast was really good as well. Overall we had a very pleasant experience!

The pool and breakfast were great. The room was not as clean on the floor like it has t been vacuumed and the carpet had a couple stains.

It was a very quick check in.

It was centrally located to the highway which made it easy to drive to Charlotte, Salisbury and Pineville.

We stay here quite a bit to visit our son. Overall the rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable and the staff is super friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Our only issue is that it always smells musty and the air is always damp, I am guessing it is because they keep the AC off in all the hallways. The last time we were here it was so bad we had to go buy air fresheners.

The breakfast is very good, we had bacon one day and sausage the next. Egg omelet one day, scrambled eggs the next. Fresh biscuits and gravy available every day. They also had muffins, yogurt, juices and great freshly ground coffee. This is the place we prefer to stay when we visit family in Albemarle. Lots of places to eat nearby, Walmart with gas station right across the highway.

THE LADY AT THE DESK

I’ve stayed here several times in the past three years. Each time I have visited, the hotel has improved. This visit it was decorated for Christmas and was very festive. Will continue to stay here in the future.

We had an amazing stay from the moment we walked in to the time we left !! Our room was great ,breakfast was amazing and housekeeping even gave us a few extra coffee pods as we were on the 3rd floor !!!

All was good except for the bugs that were on our ceiling in the room. I informed the staff but have not heard back from them.

We were not able to make it due to Hurricane Helene. We had no cell service until 9/30 not could we get out of our neighborhood until 9/30. I was charged anyway. I have contacted the hotel twice with no success in being reimbursed Very disappointing

We loved our stay here. The room was really nice. We had a vehicle breakdown and the hotel staff, Kelly from house keeping and Sean from the front desk, were so understanding. They gave us an extra late checkout while we arranged to have our vehicle towed.

The property was convenient to everything and very clean and accessible. Linda was so sweet and accommodating as we arrived a little early and was heading to a concert. We were able to put our stuff in the room and get our keys. She is an exceptional receptionist!

Updated recently, rooms are fresh and clean. Good breakfast until 9:30, doors close at 9:30 SHARP so don't sleep in if you want breakfast. They have bacon, egg and cheese omelets, oatmeal, and wonderful warm cinnamon rolls. Workers are friendly. Our favorite place to stay in Albemarle, NC.

Room was smelly. There was no soap in the bathroom.

Check-in was easy. Breakfast was good and dining areas were kept clear and clean. Housekeeping was professional and friendly and accommodating. We just felt well taken care of, especially by Paris. Location is great as it was close by store and places to eat. It is a basic room with a bathroom, which is what we needed as we were out an about a lot.

The staff was very friendly and pleasant. Room was a bit muggy at first and needed to run the AC low for a while until it felt comfortable. Needed to be cleaned better, didn’t look like much was done as the bathroom floor was dirty and there was trash on the floor left by the last guest. It was fine, but I wouldn’t really rush back to stay there again.

Did not care for the parking, some construction workers who were staying there parked their trucks across multiple parking spaces, so it was hard to find parking. One of my rooms had ants and a mildew scent. Other than that the stay was pleasant and the staff was great. I would stay there again.

The woman who checked us all in on Saturday night was amazing: so kind and competent, friendly and extremely helpful.

Not enough parking, there were some type of construction workers who parked there work vehicles across multiple parking spaces leaving no spaces. And there were multiple vehicles parked this way with long flatbed attachments.

Staff was welcoming and friendly, location was excellent, rooms are nice and clean. Amenities like pool and coffee bar are an additional bonus. Also, coffee pot and cups and pods in room.

The hotel was clean, and everyone was friendly. We were checked in swiftly. It was accessible to restaurants, fast food and there was a Walmart across the street.

Shampoo and body wash dispensers were empty.

Asked repeatedly by phone and email for an early check in. Phone they said they thought i would be able, emails were never andwered. Ultimately did not get early check in.

Great staff and very helpful pool wasn’t open yet so the grandchildren were disappointed otherwise we enjoyed our stay

Property was quiet, clean and overall a good place to stay. The only thing is the night shift front desk lady was visibly sick, when checking me in she was coughing sneezing, and using her hand to wipe her boogers and then proceeded to try and hand me a pen to sign my receipt..

Everything about this property was excellent. Very clean, quick, and easy to access. Staff was friendly and rules are strictly enforced about the no smoking policy. Would definitely recommend staying here.

I usually give high marks for this hotel, as I visit frequently. But upon this check in, I found a window cracked open with temperatures below 40 degrees. I was able to properly close and secure the window but there continued be a draft. In the bathroom. The toilet seat was left up as though it had been used perhaps after the room had been cleaned for the next guest. Then the next morning, the water temperature in the shower never reached lukewarm. I am not a fan of cool showers. I was disappointed in this stay. I do hope it was just a fluke.

It is a lovely property. When the renovation is completed it will be 5 stars all around.

Eventhough there's renovation going on, our room was very spacious and clean, the only bad part was we were only staying one night...... will certainly be my go to when in town. The parking was a bit of a challenge as the night went on buut thats almost every hotel. Check in was a breeze and the gentleman checking us in was very nice.

The room was great and clean however getting the room was a nightmare. Staff did not seem to know how to handle my reservation of 5 rooms.
