Very comfortable very easy to find very clean felt very comfortable The staff was phenomenal specially when we checked in the one that checked the sand, she was phenomenal made me feel so like coming back so many times. Nothing everything was wonderful

The only thing good about the property was the staff. Everyone was very kind My room was disgusting. There was hair stuck on towels, the shower had caked on lime and mildew, my pillows looked like they were slept on. The room smelled like marijuana and mildew and my door didn’t close properly. There was a drain The sad part is, I’ve stayed at this hotel before and it wasn’t that bad so I don’t know why it was like that. I will most likely never stay here again.

The bed was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was well made and a decent selection. I greatly enjoyed having coffee available 24 hrs a day. We will definitely be back.

This was the worst hotel we have stayed at in a long time. It was the only one available for the dates we needed. I took a chance, shame on me. Our first room was dirty with stained sheets- looked used. The second room at least had a clean bed. We bought our own supplies and cleaned up the room the best we could. I would have left but the room was non refundable and we had no other place to stay. The bathroom was dirty, the floor turned the washcloth brown, nothing was dusted, or vacuumed. Peeling paint and photos falling out of their frames. The entrance doors and all the glass looked as it was cleaned with a dirty towel. We didnt even try the breakfast as I was nervous. Would not recommend, will never stay here gain. This needs a manager that has standards and a major overhaul and CLEANING!

Room wasnt cleaned very well-trash in waste basket, leftovers in fridge, shower cra ked and dirty, blankets stained with sweatstains..breakfast was good and staff friendly..kids running up and down hall being loud late at night causing disturbance but overall ok..

One of the worst stays I’ve had anywhere in a while. My room was on the first floor next to the on set of doors that the lock was broken on which allowed anyone to walk in.

It was VERY noisy and I was constantly woke up all through the night and was not able to get any rest and sleep. The main noise was from the highway which was Very loud and busy all night. The sheets were too small for the bed and they kept popping off the corners of the bed, the mattress cover underneath looked HORRIBLE! The pillows were awful and should of already been replaced a long time ago. The TV was horrible and the Breakfast was not good and didn't look fresh at all! Don't recommend this place if you want to get rest and sleep!

Shower was very poor with no pressure. Heat control for sink and shower was poor. Room was clean. Breakfast was marginal. Building security was lax with locked doors left open

The lobby and outside areas were clean and the breakfast was good Our room smelt like bleach which means it was cleaned but we couldn't get rid of the smell and it gave us a headache; our sheets had a stain on it so we slept on top of bed and no extra blankets available in the room to use

Had to park out back saw some creepy things going on back there especially by that back door so went around the ftont of the building to go in. Breakfast was good but eggs were watery

This is our go when visiting albemarle. It's nice and clean however I think it could be a tad bit better a bar of Dial soap was left on the tub it really looks like it could have been cleaner. The sink had a rotten smell in it I would have poured some bleach but I didn't have any. The bed sheet looked like it hadn't been change but it could have been maybe the sheets are just thin. They don't keep plastic Liners in the trash cans.. overall it is clean and we like staying there. Our neighbors did wake up during the night and did see a bug so it might be time to spray and hopefully it's a routine thing from time to time

The beds were clean but the bathroom had a lot of issues. The shower head barely worked and the nozzle for the tub didn’t work at all and was barely hanging on. I guess the room was good for what we needed it for which was sleep.

Unfortunately, there was no hot water. Cold showers at 6 a.m. Called front desk to make them aware. They offered to send maintenance person, but it wouldn’t have made a difference at that point.

Front desk staff was extremely pleasant. First room smelled like mold and the second room placed in had stains on the comforter which gave the room a dirty feel.

This property has gone down hill dramatically. Rooms smelled like mold. Dirty carpet and chairs. Vomit on the bed and telephone in the first room they put us in. It’s disgusting

Always been a solid hotel. Stay there at least one time a year. Clean. Friendly. Nice outdoor pool. Decent price. I highly recommend eating at Log Cabin. Only feet away from hotel to the north. You’ll thank me

The staff will bend over backwards to make sure your stay is great! Everyone I have dealt with on check-in, for schedule changes, or any other time has been super helpful and nice.

They have a small market where you can buy snacks or personal items but it was cash only.

We have family in Albemarle and visit several times a year. They know us by name and that is a plus.

Very noisy, door slamming, walls very thin can hear conversation, bed very uncomfortable, bathroom shower need to be updated definitely not worth the money requested.

Not enough parking . My mother is Handicapped and due to a car show we couldn’t even find a parking place on the property The staff and manager were great and helped us but where we had to park we worried about our car getting hit all night .

Although it was a smoke free hotel, the smell of marijuana was very noticeable on both floors. Housekeeping room is the first area I noticed it and in the halls near our room. Once in the room, there was dry mud on the chair, trash, crumbs in floor. My sons feet would be black with filth from just walking on the carpet.

The elevator was broken for our entire trip.

The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here while we explored the area and enjoyed the wineries and breweries in the area.

My only complaint was the tub shower. There was not grab bar, and the tub floor was a little slippery. I hope that will be taken care of in their upcoming remodel. I’m an old guy, so I do better with shower stalls than with tubs anyway.

The breakfast is good and in the lobby which is nicely decorated. We had biscuits and gravy, sausage or bacon, eggs, bread for toasting, bagels, yogurt and an assortment of cereals like Fruit Loops, Raisin Bran and Cheerios. Milk and water in small fridge. Also had envelopes of grits and oatmeal with hot water easily available. Coffee was provided around the clock and was very good. There was also a waffle machine which we used one morning and the waffles were very nice. There is a machine with apple and orange juice available during the stated breakfast hours which for us were 6 to 9 on weekdays and 7 to 10 on weekend mornings. I would stay here again. The attendant did an excellent job of keeping the area clean after people collected their food.

Didn't like that we put our linens out in the hall as they told us to do at checkin if we wanted clean ones. They left us a bag of towels and toiletries but no sheets were put on the bed. The night manager came through for us and made up the bed. She was very pleasant.

We stayed here for a cheer competition in Concord. The front desk lady Bree was AMAZING. Super friendly and nice. The room was clean and stocked. This was a great place to stay and I would highly recommend.

This hotel has all the basics. The room was minimal but good for our purpose. Staff was amazing.

I love the staff they are very sweet and on point with service. I didn't like my tub around the edges need to be redone the grout is molding and the shower head has a lot of grime. Other then that it was great ☺️

The building itself is its own downfall. The rooms are old and need work. The carpet throughout smells terrible. I paid and stayed for 2 hours and left. I couldnt take it. I didnt even ask for a refund. I just left.

The room was clean enough, although we had to wipe the bathroom floor brayer it was slippery all that they vacuum the room before we brought our things in.

The staff are wonderful and I appreciated the included breakfast although the options were a bit limited. The building itself feels quite dated and the bed creaked and had very noticeable dents in the mattress, which shows how long it has been used for without replacement

The staff was super helpful and extremely friendly. The property itself needs a major upgrade. The room smelled like cigarettes and the bathroom was not good.

Loved the clean, spacious room with amenities. Breakfast & staff were great. Bathroom sink was very slow to drain. Bathtub was slick and had no handrails. Toilet seat was so low we purchased a raised toilet seat. Will ask for handicapped bathroom next time.

The room had a bad smell and as I was pulling comforter off bed( as I always do because I’ve heard they are not cleaned regularly) I saw a small circle of blood on it.

It was clean, but pretty old and not in great condition in terms of the finish. It need to be gutted and updated, fresh carpet, paint. It wasn’t bad, but definitely not the 9.4 rating that Expedia had for it. Maybe a 7. But the staff were really nice and helpful.

I would not recommend this hotel and am extremely disappointed in the cleanliness, conditions, and safety of this hotel especially for the price we paid.

There was no hot water for taking a shower.

My husband and I are both in out seventies and the shower/tub was a problem for us. There was absolutely nothing to hold onto when getting into the shower. Also the tub bottom was slanted and had very little flat area on which to stand. At the very least, grab bars need to be installed. I wouldn't stay here again for this reason.

This hotel is the absolute dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in and I will never ever step foot in here again! The carpet in the hall ways and the hotel room stink and were filthy! Not one time over my weekend stay did I even hear vacuum cleaner going! The toilets was filthy, the table/night stand tops were filthy! The curtains were filthy, the bathroom was just disgusting! The pictures lie so please be aware of you stay here. Awful Awful Awful! They do not clean at all! This hotel made me itch!

Place is dirty. Hairs in shower. Later of dust everywhere. Not enough parking for customers. Had to park in another parking area. All in all not worth the rating they have!! Don’t trust the stars!

It’s just not a “safe” spot and we would not stay there again. Breakfast was good. That’s the bright spot for our stay.

When given three different rooms before we got one with clean sheets . After the night left the third room we went in the bathroom and the tub had not been cleaned and the other people's used soap was still in the tub . And toliet poop all over it . Night clerk came back and cleaned shower . Very nasty place . Everything we looked at from top to bottom was dirty. First thing i would do if i was Best Western is fire the manger and close it down for a good cleaning.

Got up in the morning to take a shower, but there was no shower curtain. I was told they are having trouble keeping housekeeping staff. Other than that the hotel was pretty nice.

The area behind the hotel was a nice safe neighborhood where I was able to put in a 6 mile run. Also, the staff was super helpful. As an example, I forgot my running hat in the bathroom. They called me and they volunteered to mail it to me! That is great service!

breakfast spread was great - even had thawed berries for the waffles. rooms were clean, always love when they've replaced old carpets with linoleum, feels much cleaner.
