The room was comfortable There was a smell in the hallway. The filter was broken in the pool which is one of the main reasons we got a hotel in the first place. The water was cloudy and there was no warning of the floating hair in the water.

The room was spacious and perfect for our family of 4 for a short trip to Albany. The room was extremely clean. The only issue we had was receiving an accessible room due to the property being sold out and the king bed was extremely low to the ground. Other than that, we’d definitely stay here again.

Incredible stay. We were passing through for one night and the staff were great. Aysia (SIC?) was especially notable. We were departing before the complimentary breakfast and she was kind enough to prepare a ‘to go’ bag. Thank you for the comfortable stay. Cheers to your wonderful staff. Great place to stay at a reasonable price. Clean comfortable room, breakfast and all the things you expect from a Residence Inn.

We stayed here for my nephews hockey tournament and what a pleasant experience. The hotel is beautiful. The parking lot was cleared of the snow fall and salted. The front desk staff greeted us with a huge smile when we walked in and was very nice. Our room....AMAZING! Clean, comfortable, spacious. The pool was where we spent our down time. We ordered food and hung out. The staff came and made sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything. Snow storm came through that morning and the staff was up and outside cleaning and salting and even helped my husband clean off our car. The Walmart across the highway....TWO STORIES!!!!

I was in town with friends for UAlbany homecoming. I loved that there one and two bedroom apartment-style rooms, with fully equipped kitchens (stove, oven, and fridge). The rooms were spacious to include the bathroom. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My only issue was my room was serviced by housekeeping when it was supposed to; however, once I contacted the front desk, they sent up fresh linens.

The hotel we stayed was very nice overall. Our only issue was that the cable was not working and the maintenance guy couldn’t get it to work. They did offer us another room but we had already settled in and had a pizza on the way. Would definitely stay there again

The hotel is doing renovation and my room was spacious and remodeled . Very comfortable. Due to renovation pool was closed but they said we can use the pool at a near by hotel. I passed because it would be too inconvenient and it’s cold outside the front desk staff was very nice and welcoming.

I loved the property and the room we stayed in. The staff was excellent and very friendly and welcoming! The only thing I had an issue with was that the handicap parking area was not shoveled and there was ice and snow which made it difficult for my disabled husband.

No extra covers for pull out sofa

Sheetrock on ceiling started to fall down in the kitchen, I argued for a new room, when I got into the new room the couch looked like it had been chewed by a dog. The kitchen floor was dirty. The complimentary breakfast was by far the worst hotel food I’ve ever eaten.

The property had a fully functional kitchen that was really great and a full sized fridge. You can defiantly bring food with you to cook and utilize the kitchen a lot. They also have silverware and cooking stuff in the kitchen, when I say fully stocked, it was actually useable.

Hotel somewhat dated. Hotels $20. incidental fee at check in is not necessary for a room we had prepaid for. Did not use and/or charge anything to the room.

Great hotel, they're doing Reno's to the carpet in the fall which I think will make a huge improvement. Overall a nice place to stay with family.

The suite itself was well-appointed and spacious, with modern amenities and comfortable beds. The kitchenette was particularly handy and clean. The staff were friendly and attentive. However, there was one major issue that detracted from my stay: the overwhelming smell of urine that wafted out of the bathroom, especially during the night. My bed was near the bathroom, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. Despite reporting the issue to the front desk, the problem persisted throughout my stay. In summary, while the suite had many positive aspects, the strong odor from the bathroom was a significant downside. I hope the hotel addresses this issue for future guests.

I booked this room with Expedia as it was pet friendly. There is nothing on online booking about a pet fee. When I checked in at 9pm on a Friday night in the summer I was told about a $150 non refundable pet fee. Instead of taking a chance on trying to find another room I paid it but this is just bad business.

The bed sheet had holes. See the pictures attached. Bathroom sink was cracked. The pillows on the couch had stains. They wrongly checked us out at 7:00 in the morning, instead of the family from the next room.

All you need in a hotel. A good night’s sleep and a good breakfast to get you on your way. We recommend this hotel.

The hotel was clean and very well equipped. The check in and check out was easy. The staff was nice and the breakfast selection was great. The only thing was that the pool water looked dirty and the hot tub was out of commission. And I was looking forward to some pool time since its July.

Perfectly nice Residence Inn, as you would expect - great kitchen and layout. Very quiet and serene. Exactly what we needed. (We forgot that when we booked it said free breakfast and the staff didn't remind us at check-in so we missed it - being in a new time zone and all.)

Our hotel was very conveniently located just off the highway, so getting to and from was very easy. The hotel had a nice little kitchen with a full-size refrigerator and microwave! I would recommend this location and would stay here again.

We had traveled for a comedy show from Long Island it was literally a three minute walk from the hotel everything was absolutely perfect clean comfortable the bed was comfortable the staff was kind I 100% would recommend this hotel

Easy to access, right off the highway. Across the highway was shopping and food, and next door was the mall. Real easy to hop on the highway and get to the MVP arena. The room was perfectly cozy with a small kitchen and bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom. The living room and bedroom both had TVs. Overall extremely happy with our room. We where disappointed that the pool was not a heated area or heated. Too chilly to swim. I would absolutely stay there again.

The staff reported that they were overdue for a remodel/update to their facilities. I hope they take care of it, because we loved the rooms and location. We would stay there again--but only if everything was fully functional.

Breakfast was standard warm fare (scrambled eggs, cariety of sausage, bacon, frittatas, breakfast biscuit sandwich, oat meal, yogurts, waffle maker (only 1, but displayed the time), juices offered were apple and orange, coffee hot and cold brew, milk, cereal. Fresh whole fruit, apples, banana, oranges. I didnt see any mixed fruit. I also didnt ask. Good seating across several areas. Staff was helpful and friendly. Washers were $2.50 cleaned the clothes, dryers were $2.50, but left the clothes damp. Pool was nice in appearance, I did not use. Hot tub was full, but out of order. Room was spacious, bed good, and lots of seating options from counter or sofa with moveable table to desk with chair. TV swiveled so could watch from kitchen or bed.

The location is convenient but the streaming and premium channels were broken with no repair details and the hot tub had a sign saying closed for one hour that stayed one for three days. There no notice of any of these issues. Poor food selection for breakfast. Definitely not what I would expect from a Marriott

Disappointed for the amount of money it cost. I typically do not spend this much but i thought "you get what you pay for" and i expected MUCH MORE for 2 nights @$540.00. I had a very important test to take Monday. The rooms were NOT sound proof at all, the pool was closed all Sunday do to someone had gotten sick in it (I understand things happen) BUT there was no one to clean out the pool for the entire day so i was told. Monday breakfast was running late so i was unable to eat there before a State test i was taking. I would NOT recommend staying here.

Excellent Hotel especially for the price

The pool area was disgusting with gobs of hair and use Band-Aids all over the floor. Our room had burns in the sofa, and the sofa bed was not made up. When I asked for it to be made up, I was handed a pile of sheets, and a blanket. The living room floor had some black gunk that was stuck all in the carpet. The shower had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash containers that have been broken off of the wall. They were left on a ledge in the shower. The entire hotel was well worn and when I sent my comments to the hotel, the assistant general manager got back to me and was like oh well we’ll try better next time.

The rooms were so clean. Very spacious. They also had a huge refrigerator and a dishwasher. They had cups and plates. The continental breakfast was awful. The toast, muffins, bagels were hard. They had frozen waffles even though the was a waffle making machine. The juice was watery.

The bathroom was nice but the shower got chilly because of the incomplete shower door.

Hotel is in dire need of renovation. Many of the electrical outlets did not work. The mattress was a boat with a noticeable dip in the middle. WiFi never reached full capacity and streaming services on the television never worked.

Some downfalls of the room there is no water pressure, we were given two towels for four people, and there was no dirty linen bag. The hotel in general was lacking in general niceties/necessities. Empty hand sanitizer in lobby, no soap in the men’s room, no paper towels in the ladies room, and there were no towels continuously in the pool area. On the night of the 28th I called the front desk for towels for the pool area and the front desk person brought us four towels to the pool area which just happened to be bathmats. I have a picture of it. Won’t stay again. Sorry.

Furniture in lobby and room needs replacement

While some of the outlets didn't work and it was hard to get internet on my computer and hard to get the TV in the bedroom to work, the beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was great. However, there was no soap in the soap dispenser. We only stayed for one night and felt that after a long drive, it was comfortable and quiet and had a pleasant stay. The morning breakfast was OK, but I would have liked decaf coffee.

The service for room cleaning and bed change after a week there was inadequate. It took constant approaching desk about it. Room never vacuumed in the 2 week stay. Best day of service was 2 days prior to departure after a 2 week stay. Hotel needs upgrading and is outdated, shower leaked and staff told, required 2 bath mats.

Good overnight stay

We had to change rooms upon entering, the first one had torn carpeting, apparently by an animal. The second was better but needed a little more cleaning. The desk service was very nice with one, the other was quite unfriendly. Day shift was young white woman who was very helpful, the night young woman was black and not very friendly.

We were in Albany for a family wedding, and enjoyed a 2-night stay at this facility. The room was immaculate, well kept and very comfortable. The Pool and Excersize room were also very clean and sanitized and the grounds were well kept as well. The staff was Friendly,Courteous, Professioanl and very helpful. We would definitely rebook a stay at this hotel!

We usually stay here often when we are in the area and it’s usually great. It’s been two years since our last stay. The building isn’t being kept up well. The beds were squeaky like an old, cheap hotel. The smell of whatever room fresheners they use made us all cough and have allergy issues. The dogs were loud in other rooms. The people above us were loud and yet we got a call that we needed to be quiet. The pool wasn’t open. Full breakfast wasn’t available. In general the whole hotel looks like it’s not being maintained well. Sad really as it was our fav place to stay. We left after just one miserable night.

This particular facility has a "worn" look to the furnishings and carpeting in the suite. We were also confused about the housekeeping schedule. According to the person at the desk, we should have received information regarding amenities and housekeeping when we checked in ...... that did not happen.

A bathroom fan would be nice- there isn't any. Also a shower curtain that goes to wall, not half way so that water gets everywhere. The shower door only goes 3/4 across.
