Noisy air conditioning unit outside of our second story room, particularly at night. Otherwise, it was a very good hotel experience.

Covid is long over. The rooms should be made up every day of stay. Not every other.

Room was clean and simple, just what we needed for a place to rest and sleep. The mini fridge and microwave were very handy. Staff were great.

The staffs did an amazing job. There's a lot of parking outside of the hotel.

Good stay however this style of motel seems a bit institutional and impersonal in general to be perfect.

There were not enough parking spots in the lot or garage. We had to park at the hotel next door and walk.

Room was clean, same with the whole hotel. Parking garage is a little tight but not bad and nice for inclement weather. Only thing was i did laundry and the dryer wasnt functioning 100 percent had to run 3 cycles.

It is a very nice hotel but I couldn’t sleep due to the noise from the road. I stayed in 617, I wouldn’t stay in an odd numbered room.

Great staff, right by the university. Decent place, little dated.

Employees were lovely. Room standard . The hotel is having construction done which is great. my only feedback while food is being served construction should pause. Work was being done where food was being served and presented.

All was good for a quick overnight trip. The only negative was the $14.95 per person breakfast option that didn’t look worth the price.

Parking for a larger vehicle was difficult

The hot water was off for more than half the day. They never provided a timeframe that it would be fixed. My wife and I had to tough out a cold shower before leaving for our event. To make matters worse the 2nd elevator was broke when we had to leave. Had to take the stairs and walk around the building to the parking garage. 1st elevator was down for maintenance our entire stay!

I was very disappointed that we did not get room cleaning at all over our 3 day stay. We had to go get coffee pods, towels and anything else we needed in the room. I'd of thought that at least we should have had fresh towels, trash pick and beds made for the cost of the rooms per night.

Outside, parking was a major issue. The only area not parked full had screws from the remodel all over the pavement. I picked up many. The parking garage had half the slots filled with remodel junk. A better organized remodel could alleviate some of this issue. Doubt I would stay here again.

Great restaurants close by.

I was so happy with this hotel! It was very clean and comfortable. It’s such a convenient location if you have a student in SUNY ALBANY which is directly across the street. The best part was that I was able to bring my dog! I enjoyed my stay and will be back often!

Our room was very clean and had great accommodations like fridge and microwave. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our stay was very relaxing and comfortable.

The hotel was super clean and the room I had was recently updated. I had plenty of room for myself and my belongings. I was able to unpack on my first day for easy access during my stay. The bathroom had shelves! And a light right in the roomy tub/shower. There were no strange smells and the best was so comfortable, I wanted to bring it home.

I specifically stay at this hotel because it had a restaurant and bar. Both of which were demolished and under construction. We had to enter through the back of the building, which was littered with garbage and the temporary check-in area was a disaster area, very unhappy!

The property was completely under construction. There was no access to a lobby bathroom, bar, gym or pool. The people working the front desk were rude and didn't help. There was also no parking at night because of all the construction

Major reconstruction

The hotel was under MAJOR renovations. Services such as the gym was unavailable. Navigating through work site that doubled up as a hotel was unpleasant. The parking situation was less than ideal. When discussed with the staff, I was dismissed.

I usually stay at this location due to it being very close to my sons college. But they dont have a school discount. This time on my stay my room had mold in the bathroom shower and im allergic to mold but was only a one night stay. Check in was horrible my handicap cousin needed to use the rest room while checking in and was told their was no restroom available for regular people to utilize. Then provided a key to another room to use, i understand that its under construction and the kitchen was closed but was open for breakfast. I wish i had known before my stay that the kitchen was closed i would have made different accommodations before my visit. Staff needs customer service etiquette classes so they can learn that talking about handicap people is offensive and wrong. Other then that my stay was quiet.

Was very upset that none of the amenities were available. They said it had pool and the pool’s been closed for a long period of time but yet they still have the signs up on the elevator stating a pool and spa. They never notified anyone that there was renovations going on on their website until we already were there Very disappointed with notification because I definitely would’ve not picked there. It may have possibilities after renovation, but people really should be notified and if they say they did, it definitely wasn’t on there because I would’ve never picked it.

I was only there couple of hrs. Left at 4:00am to catch a flight. Never tried the breakfast.

The rooms, amenities and staff were great. I just moved my son up to Albany for school and this was my first time staying up there. Whenever i go back to visit, i will always stay at this hotel. The staff there (Josh) was so welcoming and nice. We enjoyed our entire time there.

My experience at your hotel has been good overall except the little incident that happened when my girlfriend and I were at the lobby heading to get our buffet breakfast. This happened around 8 AM. I said good morning to the staff 3 staff members they all said back expect that Chinese staff lady, not only she did not say good morning back but she was giving me dirty looks for no reason. I don’t know this lady and I’m not sure I understood her behavior. This is really shocking to me, unprofessional and unfortunate.

On all the booking sites this hotel is advertised as having a pool and hot tub.. I chose to pay more for a hotel with a pool but could have chosen a hotel with the same amenities that INCLUDED complementary breakfast (you have to pay $10 here) only to find out when I got there that there’s no pool and hasn’t been for a LONG time…I will say the staff was very courteous and kind but this place is clearly getting a bit run down, needs some TLC and needs to stop falsely advertising that they have a pool…

The bed sheets on one of the beds appeared dirty. The stain had a texture to it. I called for new sheets and the person on duty informed us that there was no maid service for that day. I told him that I would change the sheets myself. But, he was so busy he never got a chance to bring us new sheets. So, I just removed the sheet and put it on the floor. Otherwise, it was a good stay.

Decent hotel with close proximity to the universities. However, the noise from I90 was quite loud. Windows need to be updated to reduce this noise.

When we checked in my credit card was charged twice. The firt person I talked to about was not helpful at all. The man at check in was not very welcoming either.

The room was very clean, however; it smelled like a wet dog.

After a long day of travel, it was nice to have a hotel that offered a place to have dinner on site. The room is spacious and the tv has a good picture. Very pleased.

Always great service and staff

Well apportioned room, comfortable, clean bed. It was perfect for my needs, as someone on business travel. I found the food options in-house to be challenging. The host must have felt the same, as they ended up not charging me for the wilted salad.

Special request was made and they were very accommodating. Thank you for that.

Nice place to stay

I thought staff was very pleasant easy to work with. How soft pillows were and mattress great. HOWEVER they charged me 50. $ for what I don,t know .They were the ones that took the money out.But when I checked out said that I got the room thru Expedia and that you would give the 50, back. Is that true?

The location was good for the reason for use. However, we had bugs (stink bugs) in the room. The building is a smoke free building and that's what we understood, however the place smelled of smoke so bad we had to advise the front desk. Was not since of emergency to find out who and fix, they just turned the air on higher so hide the smell. Place seems like a good place to spend the night, but the beds were caved in the center, so you had to try and sleep on the edge. Definitely, will not stay at this location again.
