I have never experienced such a low commode. Ridiculous height. Also could the desk for over an hour trying to schedule a wake up call without success.

I love this hotel until this last stay As I said in the likes, I loved this hotel. It is comfortable, and 99% of the staff are nice and sweet. But this time I was staying there I had my elderly mom with me and she fell out of their super high bed snapped the pins and bent the screws that were holding the plate in place now she needs to go through surgery AGAIN. And when I told the manager he just said what do you want me to do about it. I am half tempted to take this to my attorney HARDING AND MAZZATTI

my pillows where gross. the bathroom smelled like urine and was very unsanitary. my towels had black makeup on them and the bathtub is oddly shaped and hard to stand in.

The Hampton Inn was nice and within walking distance of a couple of restaurants. The room was nice and comfortable. My only complaint was the airport shuttle. I called from the airport to get a shuttle and was told it would arrive in 5- 10 minutes. After a second call the shuttle finally arrived after a 45 minutes. The next morning I went down to the lobby as instructed at 9:55 am for the 10:00 am shuttle. I was told the shuttle runs every hour on the hour. At 10:15 am I complained and found out the shuttle driver was cleaning up after breakfast. We finally left at about 10:20am. They are obviously short handed. Unfortunately, airlines don’t say we will wait until after breakfast is cleaned up!

We stayed in an accessible room on the second floor. It was perfect for my needs (on crutches post-surgery). The hotel was clean, quiet and nice! Hotel shuttle was handy!

My experience was atrocious, I came to spend the night, with my partner because I had a very important exam to take. We live 4 hours away.. I was studying all evening when we heard a disturbance at our door and it was a drunk man banging his head into his door(next door to our door) hoping it would open itself.. it was literally 2 in the morning , this persisted until about 4 am. By 3am I dozed off and woke up by 6:42am to my blood sugar dropping.. I am a type one diabetic and I wear a pump that is very visible. I tried to take advantage of the free breakfast that was included with my stay.. I made two small waffles and a cup of coffee. As I tried to correct my blood sugar I went to the counter trying to explain to the front desk what occurred last night and how disturbing the man was last night. The front desk receptionist was dismissive and stated I booked thru a third party and there’s nothing she can do .. no apology, or acknowledgment, then I asked to speak to a manager because there’s no way you can ask me how’s my stay then treat me completely dismissive… she does to the back room and has me wait about 10 minutes , guest are starting to wait to Check out and a line is created…. She comes back after 10 minutes helps the guest then kindly says I called the cops … in disbelief I said I asked for the manager and you’ve called the cops ….. this was beyond a humiliating incident… I went back to my room to wake up my husband and inform him of what’s going on in the mist of hi

Smaller room and more dated than most Hampton Inns. Breakfast had limited choices, overcooked sausage and tight space to navigate to get the food. Also, according to the signage, regular strength coffee was not offered, only decaf and”light roast”.

We have stayed here in the past but place has gone down hill. Room had musty odors and tub had dirty ring around it. We arrived at 2:30 pm but clerk made us sit in lobby for 15 minutes before we were allowed to check in. I am aware check in is at 3 but never had to wait if I was a little early. Unacceptable. Breakfast was barely average. Small area with little to recommend. Overall stay was disappointing.

We checked in for one night stay where we just wanted to shower sleep and get up for a 5 AM flight. Rooms were clean however shower had no pressure, was hard to turn on, only had two settings, and there was no shampoo.

Everything was clean. The staff was excellent! The mattress and pillows were not comfy, although the sheets were nice. There was a makeshift closet and the room was pretty tight but fine for one. We had two, so tight. Breakfast did not accommodate for an entire soccer team of boys and parents staying the night before. Seems it would be good to take into consideration for other guests.

Overall the property was clean and in decent condition. Breakfast was a disappointment—no cheese selections and no donuts. No bagels pretty meager selection. Staff was courteous and nice. Bedding linen was old and cheap. Room and bathroom were clean. We were given a room for disabled which we were not warned about. Would have preferred a regular room with a little more space.

Stayed here several times but always on the second floor. This stay was on the first floor and it was noisy (could hear people upstairs until 2 am and sounded like there was a bowling alley up there), the toilet kept running periodically throughout the night, the water in the shower was dripping and the curtain to keep the light out was ripped and didn't cover the window totally. Next stay in Albany will be somewhere else.

Thin walls and with no quiet hours. Not super clean but was fine for one night. Rooms have adjoining doors and you can hear every drawer open and close in the room next door.

I had a very good stay at the Hampton Inn. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made for a relaxing experience. What stood out the most, however, was the staff. There was an outage during my stay, and the team did a wonderful job managing the situation. They remained professional, calm, and organized while working to get everyone into their rooms as quickly as possible. Their communication and commitment to guest service made a stressful situation much easier for everyone. I truly appreciate their efforts and would definitely stay here again.

Bedbugs! No closet! No place to put things down in bathroom; toilet very low! Two front desk staffers seemed inconvenienced that we asked questions. We asked for a luggage rack for our suitcase, was told it would arrive, never came.

We love this property, we come here twice a year for a mini shopping getaway. Hotel is near 2 walkable restaurants, if you want to have a few drinks you don’t have to drive. Hotel is quite very clean and comfortable. I would recommend it.

The room was in good condition but a little outdated. The shower curtain was too short in the walk-in shower, which caused shower water outside of shower area. Additionally, my suggestion would be to have free coffee available in the lobby.

The rooms are adequate and clean but this is not a 5 star resort. More a stop over for area workers and contractors and military personnel. Parking is adequate and there is coffee available 24/7 in the lobby. Need a place to stop overnight or a few days it isn't bad. Need higher end with some amenities then this might not be it.

As a travel nurse, I always choose Hampton. I usually stay at Hampton Latham but tried this location due to a significant price difference for a specific date. Staff was very friendly, quick and efficient with check in and out. My initial thought walking into the room was “this is more homey”. WELL, don’t let the nice wood furniture and wood bathroom floor get the best of you. The toliet took two flushes to get the paper down. Bathtub didn’t drain after showers and there was no vent fan in the bathroom. The sheets were always Hampton fresh crisp white and bed comfortable so I did not mind staying for my three shifts but I will definitely be staying at their other location as usual. This location had a typical close to the airport feel- meaning lots of people traffic in and out. Latham is more college family, sports team oriented making it feel more like home. Also- elevators are the slowest in history. Lobby and breakfast area is crammed. Overall a nice stay if you have a quick stay but would not settle for more than a night or two there. Good Hampton, but the one ten mins up the road is better.

We had issues checking in. Their computer was not working so it declined all credit cards (everyone’s) even though we paid already through Expedia they make you give a credit card to have on file before you can check in. They finally had me fill out a paper with credit card info so they could let us have our room. Took almost 20 minutes to check in. The ladies at the desk were very nice, they had to call the manager at home to know how to still let people check in. Finally got in our room after long day of travel.

We were so impressed a week ago when we stayed here, that we decided to stay here on our return trip. Clean, comfortable, and convenient. There are two very good dining options next door. This time we enjoyed the pizza from Golden Grains. Super safe walking neighborhood. Once again the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The service was great. The place was very clean and comfortable. The only complaint I have was about the barking dog for close to 2hrs that was 2 doors down from our room. They were finally asked to change rooms, but I was told they left the hotel. Finally peace and quiet.

Booked thru Expedia but have Hilton Honors and wouldn’t give late check-out (our plane was quite delayed). Shower didn’t drain, so standing in soapy water entire shower; my husband called to let them know so it could be fixed after we checked out and didn’t care. Guest bathroom at entrance out-of-order, no alternative. While waiting in lobby for our ride to leave staff repeatedly swept near me and got my luggage wet mopping. It was clean, but just really an unfriendly feeling here.

Housekeeping only cleans every other day. Had to remove trash myself on one occasion because of this. Perhaps leaving extra bags in the room would help. Staff was friendly.

The beds and linens were great and we really appreciated the blackout curtains. We enjoyed the hotel and location so much that we booked it again for our return trip.

We came here in the middle of the night, after a horrible experience in a different hotel. The staff was super accommodating and understanding of out ordeal. The lobby was clean, well lit and welcoming. Our room was perfect. 10 out of 10.

Our stay was great. The only thing that we did not love was that we could not fully close the heavy set of curtains, so we had light from the parking lot when we were trying to sleep..

Breakfast was surprisingly great—lots of hot options (it was a southern-style breakfast when I was there: biscuits and gravy, boiled eggs, and potatoes), plus plenty of bakery items and the usual pancakes and waffles. The coffee was great too. I would absolutely stay here again if I'm in Albany. Thank you!

The only thing I didn't care for was the devet cover. It didn't fit properly. Everything else was great.

I’m satisfied with the stay

This is my second time staying there and I have no complaints other than the air-conditioning smell smells like mold. This is after switching from another own word also at that smell. That’s to be expected in a humid area would imagine some maintenance needs to be done. I would stay here again, though this is a perfect location and again the staff was top-notch.

I travelled with 3 other women. Everything about the experience was very nice. There was a couple of teams of youth boys that arrived at breakfast at the same time as us. The coaches were not strict with the unruly young men… other than that NO complaints!!!! I would definitely stay here again!!!

Stay always good overall, great staff, fast checkin/out, clean and comfy room. Continental breakfast could use an upgrade it was lacking. Other than that it was good!

The hotel was fine nothing out of the ordinary. However, it gets the highest rating because of the staff. They did an excellent job!

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Easy to find. It is a bit of a tired property but clean. Lots of hot water!

The bed and bedding high quality and extremely comfortable. Easy to regulate room temp. Long term parking cheaper than at the airport with fast and efficient shuttle service.
