Excellent staff. Spacious room. They have us a room on the fifth floor with a good view of the capitol. A very sumptuous breakfast with a huge variety of food items. Overall an excellent stay.
- 2/5
The AC in our room didn’t work we had to call the front desk multiple times and it still took forever for maintenance to come fix it then it appeared to work but never did and it was hot in our room the whole time. This was a huge inconvenience it was close to 80degrees in our room the whole time.
- 5/5
I know if I find myself back in Albany and need a hotel, it will be this one vice the usual one we stay in.
- 4/5
Glad you have breakfast. Most choices were ok. But today there was no meat choices. Should at least have some sausage links if anything. Eggs need to be kept warmer. The staff were trying to keep everything filled. Your front desk staff on 6/12 -6/13 were exceptional. Did great answering my questions and they were right on getting our bathroom light fixed. Overall great stay! Miss a pool though!
- 5/5
Clean room , great breakfast!
- 4/5
Very comfortable stay. It was a clean and neat environment.
- 5/5
Staff members were very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast and seating area.
- 4/5
Helpful staff and easy access location.
- 5/5
Very convenient location just off 787 in downtown Albany. Quite nice for the price. I appreciated the spacious breakfast room and the easy, free parking. Gracious hosts, too.
- 5/5
The property was very clean and very upkeep. You can see that they did it over the breakfast in the morning was very good. They had a big variety to choose from with the kids. The only thing I did not like that they did not have a swimming pool, but besides that everything was

We reported that evening that we had a leak in the ceiling. It was stated nothing they could do because it was too late in the evening. Never sent anyone to look at it in the morning. My friend slipped on water, that God she didn't get hurt. We had to put towels down. Also, it's listed on website that this hotel had a bar. That is one of the reason it was selected and when we got there there was no bar so we had to Uber someone to get a drink. I don't think I would return due to false advertisement and the customer service.
- 1/5
The hotel was extremely noisy. Guests were inconsiderate and didn’t seem to be aware of the time or that other guests were around. I couldn’t sleep a single night that I decided to leave at 6 AM. I rang the bell to check out, but no staff came. I just dropped my keys in the front and left. The staff was never around, and the elevators took forever, even though no one was using them. The hotel also had a very unpleasant smell. I would not recommend staying at this hotel at all. It’s absolutely filthy.
- 2/5
It had zero of the amenities that I had booked the hotel for. They need to update their website because none of the amenities listed on there are at the hotel.
- 4/5
Nice hotel, the rooms are clean but the hallways could use a carpet cleaning. Overall, I recommend the hotel for its convenient location to the stadium, breakfast, and fitness center.
- 4/5
Was okay, nothing special. Breakfast was okay. Not being from Albany, location did not appear to be the best.
- 2/5
Ice machines did not work on.our floor and went to desk to find ice. Told wrong floor. One chair in room. Loud noises
- 4/5
Loved it very welcoming and the energies was amazing
- 2/5
Served daily from 6:30 AM - 10:00 AM We were there 9:35 and it was closed. I tell to the receptionist that’s the time online. She was not helpful at all. Very disappointed
- 4/5
The breakfast in this hotel is very good, and there is a large selection.
- 4/5
The bed was very comfortable and housekeeping made up the room daily. The breakfast was minimal but filling. Staff interactions were pleasant and everyone was helpful with suggestions for places to eat in the local area. Nice clean facility and I would stay here again.

Ev charging. The location matched the lower price. If you know the neighborhood and are comfortable in the city there are nice things nearby but you have to get past vacant buildings and back streets first. Entrance is hard to find at first.

Staff, room, near interstate. Ev charging. The location matched the lower price. If you know the neighborhood and are comfortable in the city there are nice things nearby but you have to get past vacant buildings and back streets first. Entrance is hard to find at first.

Good stay
- 5/5
Was perfect for the price. Recommended.
- 5/5
Great place to stay for concerts. Hotel is nice. Location isn’t great but it’s one of my first choices when I go to shows.
- 5/5
This was a perfect place for our one night stay to catch an early train into NYC. Very convenient location and room was very clean and comfortable!
- 2.5/5
Passable
- 4/5
The Breakfast is really basic; they don't serve any protein and the eggs taste and look like plastic!!!
- 5/5
Nice hotel very near downtown and courts.
- 4/5
The neighborhood looked a bit dodgy but it was very convenient for us, as we were biking on the Empire State Trail. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff helpful, and the breakfast OK.
- 5/5
Good customer services.
- 3/5
Very outdated. Slowest elevator in the world and one was out of order. Fire alarm went off 4x in morning
- 4/5
The property was recently renovated, clean and quiet. Parking was convenient and the front desk was helpful with local restaurants and attractions. The meeting area is roomy and the breakfast area was always clean. I only wish breakfast didn't end at 9: 30am.
- 3/5
The breakfast is ok. No meat only eggs. The harshbrown tastes like overweight.
- 5/5
This hotel is a good option for downtown Albany. It's walking distance to the state capitol. The rooms were clean and seemed newly renovated. Staff was friendly. The breakfast was pretty good. I would stay here again.
- 4/5
Hotel was immaculately clean and in a perfect location for events at MVP Arena. Free onsite parking was a big plus. However on unseasonably warm weekend, the AC did not seem to be working.
- 5/5
I had a great time staying at this hotel
- 5/5
I didn't expect much from this hotel. We just needed a place to sleep after seeing a show at MVP Arena. Not only was it less than a quarter mile away from the venue, I was incredible impressed by the quality of the room. Clean, in great shape and tastefully decorated. The free breakfast was also impressive and most of the staff was very friendly. The only downside to the entire stay was that one of the elevators was out of service - not a big deal to us because we were on the second floor but could have been troublesome if we were on the 4th floor. But those things happen. I also expected to have to pay for parking and it was free. MUCH better experience than the Hilton down the road. We will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
The staff was very nice and accommodating. There was parking, but it gets full fast.
- 4/5
Staff was polite but could be a bit more welcoming and friendly .
- 4/5
Property was clean and staff was courteous
- 4/5
It was a nice stay
- 2/5
The staff was very pleasant! The first night, there was no hot water. After a long trip, I just wanted to take a hot shower. The front desk kept me informed. But surprisingly, the hotel provided no accommodations to make up for NO HOT Water.
- 4/5
The ac was not functioning right.
- 3/5
Nice clean room and nice bed with all the amenities including refrigerator, coffee maker and iron board which I needed for my 4 day stay.
- 4/5
Good coffee and apples. Weak eggs and potatoes. Acceptable but not fresh-squeezed orange juice. No meat at all and ridiculously described as a "kosher breakfast"; I happen to be Jewish and the staff said they called it kosher because there was no meat --- brisket, beef, lamb, chicken are all kosher. There was no onsite food after breakfast.

Free breakfast which was the best part
- 5/5
Very happy with everything. Definitely will be staying again
- 4/5
Very quick clean transportation all around friendly staff i had a very peaceful rest
- 5/5
No complaints
- 4/5
The location is an isolated corner of Downtown Albany, under over-bridges on one side and an empty parking lot / Greyhound Bus stand on another, with a huge abandoned dilapidated building in front. But the Hotel itself is well maintained, sufficiently staffed, with all amenities that you'd expect in any other Hotel. The room was clean and good. Wi-fi speed was good. Morning breakfast, between 6 and 9:15am, had all that you'd expect in a complimentary BF. I would recommend.
- 5/5
It was an amazing experience and I will be returning, the property was very clean. The room was very clean. The staff was excellent. They were well informed pleasant, welcoming, and kind they went above and beyond to accommodate.
- 5/5
Appreciated the breakfast option
- 2/5
Walls are paper thin - bed is hard - killed a bug on the floor. Close proximity to capital buildings was a plus
- 3.5/5
Good
- 5/5
excellent breakfast and clean rooms
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
This is a great place near downtown. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was friendly. Parking is also free and convenient.
- 5/5
Pretty decent property for that price
- 4/5
However, around 4 AM there was a major disturbance when children in the hallway set off the fire alarm, waking all guests and causing an evacuation. This significantly disrupted my sleep affecting me to wake up for something important the next day I hope the hotel can take better measures to prevent this from happening in the future.
- 5/5
The room was a very nice size for two people. Great location.
- 2/5
The location, they had a bus drop off location, and homeless people sleeping nearby. Very unsafe conditions.
- 2/5
I had a stay here on Thursday. I was there for a conference and checked in early. I put my things in the fridge for when the I returned. When I returned at 5 the fridge had been emptied which contained drinks and a rather nice bottle of wine. When o spoke with the front desk they said they cleaned the room. I asked why would you clean a room that was just checked into an hour before. I demanded my things and they said it would take over and hour. When I demanded my things in 20 minutes the figured things out. I do not understand why you would go into someone’s room and remove something after they have checked in. Terrible response to my compliant as well.
- 5/5
Convenient to city government center, entertainment, restaurants and bars. Walkable, too!
- 4/5
Great location for walking by river and ne
- 4.5/5
Someone not keeping tract or responsibility of their children and pulled the fire alarm at 0346 am! Not meat items for breakfast but the rest was good.
- 4/5
Rooms and bathroom were clean Air conditioning didn't work and kids set off fire alarm at 4 am which caused us to have terrible headaches. Also the parking area was a little dark

- 1/5
There were children running around until 3am, then they decided to pull the fire alarm at 4:30am so we got to stand outside until the fire dept showed up. I tried calling earlier in the night to ask them to ask the same children to please stop running, but the ringer was apparently turned down and she didn’t hear the phone
- 4/5
Hotel was good breakfast was ok only gripe is the ice machine is only on the second floor but all in all hotel was good neighborhood a little sketchy but it’s Troy ny so yea
- 1/5
The room was big and spacious. Hallway smell of mold on the first day. The ice machine was not working at all on the floor I was staying on and the head manager was aggressive when they made the mistake of locking me out my room on 5/2/26 when my registration was for April 30, 2026- May 3, 2026 with my personal things were still in their room. Then the manager had me pay an additional fee of $166.03 to stay from May 2, 2026-May 3, 2026. The manager advised his assistant manager to tell me to call Booking.com because it was a mistake on there end in which case it was not because Booking.com had stated and confirmed the dates on my reservation of April 30, 2026-May 3, 2026.

- 5/5
No complaints. Checked all the boxes. Nice room, nice staff, convenient downtown location.
- 5/5
Nice and clean hotel with excellent staff. Breakfast was included and parking was always available. We will stay again when visiting Albany for future NYSUT conventions.
- 2/5
Air condition wasn’t working at all so I had to open the window to get some air in the room and it was so loud. I couldn’t sleep the entire night. The overall condition of the hotel is not great.
- 1/5
This location needs a security guard. The kids were racing up and down the hall and pushed my friend when he was getting out take out. It’s was chaos. Like a hs pep rally, not a downtown hotel. Space was clean (before the kids, after that the hallways were lined w chips and wrappers), parking was easy, breakfast ok.

- 4/5
Clean, fresh. Enjoyed the stay. Breakfast was wonderful. only 2 things wrong, No tissue box in the room and one lamp was missing the lampshade.
- 2/5
I was on the 2nd floor and a large group of teenagers partied in the hallway. Smelled like canibus and the fire alarm went off all night… cops showed up at 10pm to investigate a possible armed robbery. No rest and no thanks!
- 2/5
Room heating system was not working
- 4/5
Clean room, nice staff, decent parking, nice stay.
- 5/5
Clean room, great breakfast.
- 5/5
Nice and comfortable. Parking is not that great. Nice breakfast.
- 4/5
Parking was great. Everything was clean. My room was very cold and needed maintenance to switch it back to heat. Wish there were extra blanket in closet. Hot water was hot. Staff very friendly.
- 4/5
The rooms were clean but the building needs renovations. It is located in an industrial type of setting but there are good restaurants within 5 minute drive
- 3/5
Overall a good experience. However, the ice machine was not working on any of the floors and the phone in my room also did not work so I could not call the front desk. Otherwise, great stay.
- 5/5
I loved it!!
- 4/5
Our room was clean, the bed comfy, and plenty of parking. The staff were great and although under construction, the property looked great.
- 5/5
Clean toon
- 4/5
Clean room but room needed more adequate lighting. Staff were pleasant and helping. Room was quiet.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 5/5
It was very clean and comfortable
- 4/5
Breakfast was great and the parking was more than adequate.
- 5/5
Was a great place, very clean!
- 2/5
The room itself was fine. The area around the hotel with abandoned buildings, was very sketchy. The noise was also a huge problem our room faced the entrance and even on the third floor anyone outside, u could hear loudly. There were people out all night talking and I could not sleep. The insulation from room to room was also very poor, as we could hear our neighbors. The breakfast seemed fine, although we did not partake.
- 5/5
Breakfast was OK. No OJ on Sunday. Waffle maker was great. Need better hot items
- 5/5
Very close to the bus terminal if you need it.
- 1/5
It was pretty disappointing that I couldn’t park in your establishment with my electric vehicle. I had to pay $40 for event parking.
- 4/5
Breakfast was great room was clean. Key didn’t work when I got there they asked me to come back down. Bringing new key up would have been a bit better so I didn’t have to. That was a big expectation for price paid.
- 5/5
The only thing I didn't like was the location of the hotel very sketchy neighborhood if you were in a better location I think you would have even more guests
- 2/5
Disappointing
- 5/5
The hotel was wonderful I really liked it under renovation so no breakfast but they did credit 20$back for the stay which was very nice and we appreciated that The only thing I didn't like was the location of the hotel very sketchy neighborhood if you were in a better location I think you would have even more guests
- 4/5
Great rooms. Very accessible. Friendly staff. Easy in and out. Under construction ATT but means better than before soon.
- 4/5
The heater was on pretty high, not a big deal but it was warm in there
- 5/5
The management was excellent and easy to work with. They helped me get the best rate possible. I highly recommend this hotel.
- 4.5/5
Superb
- 5/5
Very clean and spacious room. Breakfast was fresh when I went downstairs, and the fitness center was a nice bonus with a few treadmills and other equipment. Parking was a little tight during an event happening, but was easy outside of that. Would stay again!
- 4/5
Location was a little sketchy but other than that staff was great and well worth the money gym is small but workable also they do not have and meats with breakfast
- 5/5
Honestly a great stay. The hotel room was so clean, virtually spotless upon arrival. The bed was fresh, clean, white and super comfortable. I liked that our room had flooring rather than carpeting. We stayed for two nights and the breakfast both mornings was great. There was a large variety of foods to choose from. Coffee was good! Parking is kind of tight if the hotel is busy, but on our second night a lot of the visitors seemed to clear out (many were in the area for a hockey game) and parking was a breeze. Staff were very polite and courteous. Definitely recommend.
- 5/5
courteous staff, clean room, good breakfast, no problem parking
- 4/5
Room was fresh, well furnished and fairly large. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Parking is partly covered and features EV chargers which are very scarce in Albany. Easy access to highway. Better price than competitors. Location is dreary and somewhat deserted. Doesn’t seem safe to walk around after dark . No coffee shops or diners in walking distance. . Farther from the Capitol than other hotels. Breakfast is good but no coffee barat other times. All ok if you are ok with driving everywhere.
- 5/5
Good stay
- 4/5
2. the heating/coolig controls did not work. 3. the breakfast was not very good, food was not hot, no sausage or bacon with breakfast.
- 5/5
Excellent desk person.
- 2/5
My room was 79 degrees. I called and someone was sent up promptly to fix. He came in the room, worked for about 10-15 mins and said it was set. The room did not cool down and it was a terrible nights sleep.
- 5/5
The rooms were very nice and clean and looked like they were recently renovated. The bedding was comfortable and the bathroom was nice as well. I did not have a chance to use the fitness room, but I did go take a look and it was perfect for a quick workout. My only suggestion would be to add some smart TV capabilities to the televisions, it would have been nice to connect to Netflix or another streaming service since the channels were somewhat limited. All in all, I was very happy with my stay and would return again if I needed to be close to the arena.
- 5/5
Bed was very ccmfy
- 4/5
Clean and decent place
- 3/5
The room was clean upon arrival, the heater/ac did not work correctly - the room was hot the entire stay and no amount of putting the temp on cool worked - the unit ran the entire time and never seemed to cool down. We unfortunately had hotel guests on the same floor as ours that were loud and obnoxious until about 4:30 in the morning - not the hotel’s fault they had no filters, but made the night sleepless and with the temp issue made it even more uncomfortable to sleep.
- 5/5
Need an ac in room but overall perfect
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was helpful and efficient.
- 3/5
Good for a quick trip
- 3/5
Tub didnt drain. HVAC was blowing out hot air the entire time. AC didnt work. Breakfast was mediocre. Booking website stated bar/lounge on premise.... it was never opened.
- 3/5
Hotel was clean and nice. Breakfast was great too . Just neighborhood is not good .
- 4/5
The room was very clean and the staff was very polite and ready to assist.
- 3/5
When we got to our room, there was no heat. Staff were nice, switched us to different room.
- 1/5
Smelled like cigarettes, the guy that was checking me in was texting the whole time while I was checking in and when I asked questions it seemed like I was annoying him. Then the alarm went off at midnight I tried to call the desk 3 times no one answered then this morning the guy said the room next to me they were smoking that why it went off
- 5/5
Clean rooms Friendly staff The are is pretty industrial so don't expect to get a view
- 3/5
No meat in breakfast, rooms are a bit aged but clean not what I expected for being downtown
- 5/5
The staff is always friendly and very helpful! Very comfortable stay, and walking distance to downtown. They also offer free parking which is a huge plus downtown! This is my second work trip to downtown Albany and have stayed here both times. Breakfast is also decent, full, hot breakfast. I definitely recommend.
- 3/5
The location was bordered by a major highway, with a view overlooking an abandoned parking lot. Despite an hour and a half, the room temperature never rose above 60 degrees. We were eventually moved to a new room. The lighting was very dim, but the room was clean and well-stocked. The breakfast was average, nothing remarkable. I do not recommend this stay.
- 1/5
They charged me twice on two separate for cards for my the stay of 22nd to the 26th. They have still not refunded me. They said its a holding charge but it is not as it is two different charges on two different cards. No one seems to be helping me get the refund.
- 1/5
Front desk staff was extremely rude and unprofessional No lock on windows on 4th floor. Windows opened completely for a body to fit out of Rug had rug nails sticking out and cut foot open Tub and toilet leaked Room was 80 degrees heat and ac broken, we had to sleep with window open. Room was next to a bridge and it was loud all night We have pictures to prove
- 1/5
there was no water in the hotel. they said they would refund. I am still waiting for refund.
- 1/5
I want a refund. There was no running water when I arrived. The manager kept saying that the water would be back on in a half hour and a couple hours later said it would still be on in a half hour by morning. It was still not on. I was not able to shower. I was not able to use the toilet.
- 4/5
Hotel was pleasant and as advertised. The breakfast was good. I took away a star because there was an issue with my keycard that temporarily locked me out of my room.
- 1/5
The key for the room would stop working all the time so I had to go back down to the lobby AGAIN to activate my key. The lady setting the breakfast was very rude when asked about eggs she said "I DONT HAVE EGGS SO I CAN'T MAKE YOU EGGS" Nothing I can do. There was a snow storm and they didnt even have water or medicine to sell or to provide. Not the cleanest either.
- 3/5
The room was clean, but the breakfast was not delicious and delightful.
- 5/5
was what we needed, very nice thank you
- 5/5
Clean room, Easy check in and check out. Accommodating staff. Very basic breakfast but ok than nothing.
- 5/5
Nice staff
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff, great breakfast, walking distance from the capital center of Albany
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean spacious room, free parking. The only issue was the lady in charge of the breakfast - rude and slamming down the food covers just seconds after scanning the options.
- 5/5
Great clean hotel in perfect location
- 5/5
Room was very clean and bed was comfortable check in was seamless stayed one night for a concert at mvp arena. Only complaint is the limited parking space but made it work. Will defiantly stay again.
- 3/5
Staff were very nice and competent. Room was ok tho dark (light was broken); ice machine on my floor did not work. View was honestly hideous but location was ok.
- 4/5
Nice room clean
- 3/5
Our room was very clean but did have a musty smell to it. You really need to figure something out with parking. We had to park in a parking lot that we needed to pay for.
- 3/5
Room was a furnace. We adjusted heat but it didn’t stop. It was 78 when we checked in. Ended up sleeping with the heat shut off and window open. We had two rooms, both rooms had a heating issue.
- 4/5
Great economic hotel that is a safe, short 10 minute walk down Broadway to Pearl St to the MPV Arena. Reasonable prices with a continental breakfast in the AM (fried eggs, french toast, bagels, coffee, etc).Comfortable bed and pillows and extremely clean. Only strange thing there was no garbage pale in the room or desk chair. I would stay again for the reasonable rate and proximity to the arena.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable
- 5/5
Great location for the concert.
- 5/5
The gentleman who checked us in was informative friendly and polite. We were there for a concert and he told us about Ubers, parking and suggested a place to eat.
- 5/5
Clean room and friendly staff.
- 5/5
The stay was great from check-in to check-out. Great staff, atmosphere and room. Since I had late business meetings thru 2pm on check-out day, I was able to check my bag and coat till later in the day. Raul at the front desk and the woman at checkout (sorry i forgot the name) were so courteous and kind!
- 4/5
Very nice clean hotel, easy walk to MVP arena, just be forewarned that there is limited parking which led to confusion and some added stress, but not the end of the world.
- 5/5
The hotel was convient to where we needed to go, was very clean and comfortable and all the staff were very friendly
- 4/5
Comfortable bed, clean room
- 3/5
It was decent there wasn’t much to do
- 5/5
Quick check in process. Very nice room. Delicious breakfast.
- 3/5
PARKING!!! We where there for a concert. There is not enough parking for the number of rooms you have. I had to pay $40.00 to park 2 blocks away. Maybe only allow one car per room.
- 1/5
No parking at hotel. Had to pay for parking 10 minutes away from hotel and walk in 5degree temperature in the dark back to hotel. Also no working tv in room. Staff said having problems
- 2/5
It was scary and we were not sure ifvit would be safe. Then the night clerk let us park on property as he moved his car at 1 am for us. Was not expecting to have to deal with no parking.
- 1/5
We got back to the hotel for our 2nd nights stay and the parking lot was completely full with people double parking and illegally parking. The front desk person would not refund us a night so we could go elsewhere with parking. He had zero solutions for parking other than go park in a street and walk. We had paid for parking and there was NONE. I parked my car illegally and was up most of the night worried sick we would be towed. I am calling the property tomorrow to hopefully get a night refunded. The manager apparently wouldn't answer the phone. parked sthere if you plan
- 5/5
Clean, good repair, quiet, good breakfast. The car charger was important to me.
- 4/5
The room was clean and the staff was great
- 1/5
We had to cancel the trip due to conditions beyond our control. In jnjj no no CD v Bob lol
- 5/5
Amazing Staff and extremely clean - I would stay there again and again -
- 3/5
Room was clean, breakfast was good, and the staff are friendly. I also do like how close the hotel is to the bus station. The main issues are a weird sewer smell outside of the building and a cigarette odor in the hallways. Also, the pedestrian walkways were covered in snow so entering the building required walking in the road and parking lot at night which felt unsafe.
- 5/5
Room is very clean!

The breakfast is sparse, the only "hot" items are eggs and frozen hashbrown sticks, no meat to speak of. The eggs are awfully dry and usually burnt but ironically kept barely above room temp, and the hashbrowns were either burnt solid or soggy like they had been thawed but not cooked, and again kept lukewarm. But they have yogurt, and the apples hadn't ALL gone bad at least. The keycard stopped working every single morning without fail and I always had to get it replaced. This happened to other guests as well, and sometimes we had to line up to get our cards replaced. Obviously after the first time I'd be careful to keep it away from devices or anything that could affect it, but it still happened every morning like clockwork. Either something's up with the system, or there's a crazy magnetic field somewhere in the building that people walk through on the way to breakfast. Either way it needs checking. The elevators are crazy, the buttons dont work and the doors open before the elevator is even at the floor yet. Overall a clean hotel and pretty well maintained for the area, but the keycard system and elevators need serious work. And breakfast could really use a system rework. Even if they didn't add items, they could at least make sure the few items they did have were cooked properly and kept hot. The staff were all courteous and helpful.
- 5/5
Although the bar was not open. It was a good stay
- 5/5
Very welcoming staff, easy check in and out, and comfy cozy room.
- 4/5
Staff was super nice and the room was very clean. The bathroom needs to have updated faucet fixtures in the sink and tub.
- 5/5
This is the place to stay in Albany - Extremely courteous
- 2/5
The staff was very professional. The building was clean. The location was ideal for where we needed to go. BAD POINTS Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Room temperature would not go below 84 degrees even when turned all the way down. Breakfast was very limited selection.
- 3/5
Check-in process was smooth. Parking was close. Breakfast was good. The downfall was our air conditioning didn’t work, the stopper in the bath tub didn’t work. So for one night stay simple amenities we would expect were sub-par. If we come back to Albany next year we will try somewhere new.
- 4/5
Overall a great place to stay but that breakfast was pretty bad.
- 5/5
Nice helpful staff. Room was clean
- 4/5
Great location and cozy
- 3/5
The drain on our bath tub did not drain. I planned to let the front desk attendant know when we departed, but the desk was not staffed.
- 3/5
Room was very cold. Could not adjust heat
- 3/5
HVAC in room did not work, room wouldn't get below 74. Noisy location, a lit of traffic and hotel lobby/hallway noise
- 5/5
All the above plus wonderful breakfast choices. Will stay there again. Thank you.
- 3/5
Yes
- 3/5
The 4 USB charging slots were all broken. I had to use other methods to charge my phone. I put food in the refrigerator assuming it was working because the light was on. The next morning all my food was warm - spoiled so I had to throw it all away. I made two complaints two days a row for the manager to contact me. They never did. The customers in this hotel were very noisy. I was kept up for hours because of banging doors, arguing.
- 5/5
It was very decent although the night staff worker really charged my card an additional $50 I can tell he use to doing that!
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff
- 2/5
That hotel is very cold and they don’t have a heater
- 4/5
What it out to us was the clean room and the easy check in.
- 2/5
No hot water
- 1/5
Property wasn’t what i expected no water juice snacks staff wasn’t to accommodating i would never book again
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
The front desk staff was very helpful and personable. Just would have liked a place to eat on the premises rather than ordering out or going out. Clean premises and room.
- 5/5
Clean, friendly, good breakfast, walk to arena.
- 5/5
Check in, check out was simple. When checking in on Friday afternoon, the girl who took care of us (I didn’t get her name) was exceptional! Helpful and cheery. Room was clean and breakfast was excellent. All in all, I can’t wait to come back to stay again!
- 4/5
Basic Affordable and convenient location.
- 4/5
The coffee maker in my room did not work.
- 5/5
Clean room. Great staff!
- 5/5
Clean large rooms. Staff was great!
- 1/5
We got to the room, and it literally smelled like sewage. It was emanating from the bathroom. Our room was missing the couch from it. We just had a big empty space where the couch should be. The front desk didn't pick up the phone as we called for 15 minutes to request a room change. When I went downstairs, the staff was great and changed the room. Our next room had no odor, but no lamp shade. Our friends who booked 3-4 rooms down from us had cigarette burn holes in their couch. This was not a positive experience.
- 4/5
Rooms clean and staff helpful
- 5/5
Clean rooms, nice staff and conveniently located.
- 5/5
Clean room and staff was very nice
- 5/5
Clean
- 1/5
All the breakfast food was stale and someone knocked on our door late when we were asleep and then called to ask if we wanted Budweiser.. I told the front desk and they acted as if they knew what was going on but wouldn’t say.. or like it was a pattern. I’d never stay with this chain again.
- 5/5
Had a great stay !
- 3/5
The breakfast did not have any meat options.
- 3/5
Amenities were good, breakfast was surprisingly diverse. Staff was friendly. The HVAC system in my room wasn't working. It was 80 when we got there. I turned it on before we left for dinner, returned and it was still 80. Called for maintenance to come. They played with something in the return and said give it 30-45 mins. Nothing happened. It was late, I was tired. I opened the window with it 45 degrees outside, put an extra blanket on the bed and left it alone. Disappointing that it didn't work and something like that isn't checked when rooms are rented out for the night.
- 4/5
Clean room, staff was helpful and friendly
- 2/5
No room service Lighting in the room was poor with flickering lights
- 5/5
Breakfast was good. Location was great for our needs. Would stay here again.
- 3/5
Was none left but didn’t care anyway except they doubled charges
- 4/5
The breakfast was awful. No real selection, no meat, definitely not great. We had a super loud neighbor. Mya at the front desk was great and moved us to new room. The location is sketchy but once you're inside, its very nice.
- 2/5
First room smelled of ciggs. Second bathroom smelled strongly of urine. Had to keep the door closed. Otherwise great gym, nice staff
- 5/5
Front staff very pretty
- 5/5
The beds were amazing very comfortable the pillows it was clean. I really enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
Described “downtown” but not walkable to restaurants or downtown sites
- 5/5
Room was spacious and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Bathroom was great and shower good.
- 5/5
Hotel is beautiful, breakfast disappointing
- 3/5
Ok hotel. Expensive for its condition and location
- 2/5
Elevators broke down which made everything hard to bring the stuff up and down. They charge for parking and there were no parking
- 5/5
This hotel has been completely renovated with everything new. It is a few blocks away from the hub of Albany but well worth it in so many ways. Breakfast goes to 10am. Nice staff and room prepared nicely.
- 5/5
Very clean and spacious room. Excellent house keeping staff. Very clean bed linens.Supportive front office staff.
- 4/5
The staff were very attentive and friendly. My room was very clean; however, there was inadequate lighting in the room. There was very little natural sunlight, and there could be more lighting in the main area of the room. My biggest disappointment was the shower. The shower head and mechanism with w/the tub needs to be replaced. It didn't switch fully into shower mode, and the spray/water pressure was either painful or just a trickle. Lastly, my room key kept stopping working and I had to go back downstairs multiple times to get it reprogrammed.
- 4/5
Our stay was pretty nice! Even though our AC wasn’t working the condition of the rooms were suitable. My only gripe was the AC. That said, the desk gentleman offered to move us. If we were staying longer, i would’ve.
- 5/5
Nice. I would stay again.
- 4/5
Very comfortable clean room with a nice breakfast
- 4/5
Check in was very fast. $10/day to park in the narrowest of spots. Hotel layout is surprisingly spacious and room was very comfortable. Bathroom door needed the screws tightened though.
- 4/5
The location was convenient but not pretty-almost under the freeway
- 4/5
Friendly
- 4/5
Was unable to control the thermostat. Room couldn't get above 64 degrees. Walls very thin, could hear neighbors. Surrounding area was run down. But the room was clean and easily accessible to Downtown Albany.
- 4/5
Rooms are well kept and they are big.
- 5/5
Polite, friendly staff, very nice breakfast, clean room, clean all around hotel.
- 4/5
Comfortable stay!
- 2/5
Large number of gnats in the bathroom. Very old and outdated. Very limited breakfast with only eggs and no breakfast meat due to a sign saying it was kosher. Should have that in description. Area around hotel near highway, not safe to go walking around outside.
- 1/5
Charging my card every time I give my room number they said I’m not in that I’ve ever been to in my life
- 3/5
Room was clean and comfortable. Lobby area and surrounding areas inside and outside were not ideal. No comfortable chairs of workspaces near the lobby. The hotel was under capacity in the middle of the week and asked for a room time extension to stay so that I could come back after speaking at the Capital Center. Gave me an hour but my presentation started at the time of the extension. having stayed at other properties, staying until 2:00 was never a problem.
- 4/5
Clean room
- 4/5
The hotel was clean and comfortably room but wasnt aware of the area it was located very unsafe and lonely.
- 5/5
Nice clean hotel
- 2/5
Didn't like checking in and then being told $10 fee for parking
- 5/5
Conveniently located right off the highway. Rooms were spacious, little couch, king bed, refrigerator and microwave. Lobby and parking lot adequate. Within walking distance of restaurants. Free breakfast was just fine; the usual quick breakfast food. We would stay here again as the price was right.
- 5/5
Clean and people are heldul
- 5/5
I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and I loved the hotel the cleanliness
- 5/5
Very nice room. Good breakfast. Helpful staff
- 3/5
The bed looked like someone laid down on it, the bathroom had soap on the sink with package next to it, dirty wet washcloth hanging up on towel rack and garbage not taken out
- 5/5
Staff was courteous and helpful. Room was clean. The hotel was quiet and the breakfast options were good.
- 5/5
Very Clean. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Everything New & shiny
- 4/5
Like the location. Did not like limited parking
- 4/5
Very bad area of town.
- 4/5
All good, just property located on the side of the downtown. Kinda hard to find.
- 5/5
I had such a lovely stay! Ondreya at the front desk was amazing and so helpful! The room was slightly musty and the carpet had a slight stain on a small portion on it. Other than that, everything else was great! The service team is very professional and helpful, would absolutely stay there again.
- 5/5
AOK. Nice and new.
- 4/5
Everything was fine, no issues and it was clean.
- 5/5
Clean room/ staff was okay
- 5/5
The hostel is quite good, but there are limited dinner options nearby.
- 1/5
Never got my prepaid room & hotel also kept my $249.00 cash key points
- 5/5
Excellent
- 2/5
Smelled like cigarette smoke and breakfast was not good and very limited.
- 5/5
Great location
- 2/5
The stay was ok, the breakfast was mid. No meat whatsoever.
- 3/5
A $20 parking fee is ridiculous
- 5/5
Easy check in. Polite and friendly staff. Room was clean and everything on point. Quiet and peaceful weekend.
- 5/5
good size rooms well stocked and breakfast has plenty of options
- 5/5
Worth what I paid
- 5/5
Rooms are nicely appointed, clean and have comfortable beds and pillows. AC worked well. Good room darkening drapes. Note that if you can’t walk a long… distance ask for a room assignment near the elevator. There are rooms that are a far walk.
- 4/5
The location is just off the highway (which is great), but the surrounding area is terrible - dilapidated buildings, run down & shuttered. cannot walk around without feeling lonely and concerned. Have to have a car to go out.
- 4/5
Limited parking for those like myself that arrived late at night. Otherwise everything was great
- 5/5
The hotel is great. A value for sure. Short walk to the Times Union Center and downtown. Less than $200 a night is a great deal. We have stayed multiple times, and will stay again.
- 4/5
Nice place
- 5/5
very good service. big space.
- 2/5
Charged $20 for parking
- 3/5
The bathroom had a slow drain and the breakfast was not up to professional standard
- 4/5
Clean and comfortable
- 1/5
Unprofessional Manager. A/C didnt work in our room. Guest Laundry didnt work, although we spent the money for it.
- 3/5
Inside it was very clean and our room was nice but the bed we had in our room had a broken spring that we could feel. The breakfast was average in terms of what is offered, although one of the mornings they were out of most items by 8:30am. If we ever went back to Albany I would pay more to stay in a different hotel. I forgot to mention this earlier but they do charge about $20 a night for parking as well.
- 1/5
Not close to any dining and right next to the freeway. I would not recommend.
- 1/5
The pictures do not match the property at all. I pulled into a parking lot that looked incredibly unsafe, so much so that we hesitated to get out of the car. Upon entering the property the entire place smelled so strongly of smoke that I said something, we asked if we could just cancel, however that was not possible without going through Expedia and I was promised the rooms would be better. Upon entering the room, it too smelled the same, my son was coughing, the water coming from the sink was filled with floating things, and I felt unsafe. We checked out immediately and found a different hotel. This is NOT a safe hotel experience for families, and my son would agree. We could not get out of there fast enough.
- 3/5
I don’t understand why a city which is so empty and has plenty of parking available - I was charged 19.99 $ for the stay
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 2/5
While those things control-able by the staff were very acceptable The location is terrible. No parking both nights when we got to the property. Property sits adjacent to the highway. It felt like we were under the highway. Abandoned buildings and vacant underpasses surrounded the property. Also, bus terminals and city bus storage sits behind the property. More than once were confronted by homeless people when we went to the car. It did not feel safe in the neighborhood. I would not recommend this property for families.
- 2/5
We checked in about 11pm- we got there and there was no parking available (so had to find street parking)- we got to our rooms and 1 was 80 degrees - air appeared to be in, but room never got below 78. We called the desk and they sent someone up quickly, but he said it was on and fine- and let 2 fans. The second room we had the air sort of worked, but there was a musty smell in it.
- 5/5
Good hotel for value.
- 2/5
The property itself was difficult to find, and dark and felt unsafe upon approach. The staff at the Reception desk were not helpful, and provided no information regarding parking, amenities and check-in/check-out. The cost of parking per day was not disclosed until my second night, and my key card access was cut-off after one night, despite booking multiple nights. The room was not clean upon inspection, with visible carpet stain, hair in the bathroom, and mold in the corner.
- 3/5
I stayed here one night at the beginning and one night at the end of my trip. The staff on Wednesday were wonderful. The staff on Sunday were just ok. Over all everything is clean and quiet. There is only one restaurant really in safe walking distance and unfortunately nothing open if you arrive after 6 on Sunday night. Both stays I went down for breakfast and then my room key stopped working and I had to go back down to get my key updated.
- 3/5
Parking: You pay $19.99 for parking and then you can’t find a parking spot. We were told the spots are first come first serve. If there are 190 parking spots and 134 rooms and each car has to pay for parking there shouldn’t be an issue with finding a spot. We were then told to park on the street OR at the greyhound terminal for $30. This caused a lot of havoc last night because so many people paid for parking and there we no parking spots. We asked for extra towels and wash cloths at 9am and by 10:20am we hadn’t received them so when my niece went downstairs to ask for them she was told we had to request them from our room (although they handed another customer towels at the counter). So we called again and the guy answering the phone had someone bring them up at about 10:40am. There was a small hole over the toilet (we stuffed tissue in it) which was weird.
- 1/5
Hotel surrounded by abandoned boarded up buildings. They charge an xtra 20 dollars a night for parking which is not on website. Gym closed due to walls & floors collapse,1 washer & dryer that did not work, ice machine in entire hotel broke except for one on second floor. Hookers & bums soliciting in parking lot that were allowed in lobby for water!? Very unsafe. Shower broke water soaked entire bathroom, plug in tub not working, front desk attendants useless. Very disgusted & dissapointed, hallways dark & set up as a maze.
- 4/5
Nice clean rooms and bed , staff very polite . Not much around hotel but good nights sleep.
- 3/5
Staff was extremely nice and helpful. They over changed us $129 both night but said it was going to be fixed. Also paid $20 a night $40 for both nights for parking and there were no spots available. We had to pay to park at the bus station down the road. They did say we would be reimbursed the $40. Breakfast was very limited. Rooms were clean and spacious. But all and all wouldn’t stay again.
- 4/5
The staff employees are all very nice!
- 5/5
Rooms cleaned daily. Plenty of towels and pillows. Comfortable bed. Clean and fresh! Friendly and helpful staff. Only two minor issues: the room was a little too cold despite adjusting the thermostat. The hotel was at capacity on our second night so parking was difficult.
- 5/5
Quick check in and clean well kept property and room
- 4/5
Overall it was good. Just there was no toiletries in the bathroom- like hand washing soap, makeup remover, small lotion etc.
- 5/5
Good amenities. Outside parking is a little tight. Too desolate of an area at night to walk anywhere.
- 3/5
Booked through hotels.com, it was advertised that they offered a shuttle through the hotel, that was the main reason we booked with them. When we checked in they said they no longer did that with no remorse whatsoever. They said they would try to help us out, which I thought was great. However, after two promised phone calls--that never happened, we were told there was nothing they could do----not even really offering to make things right. If we had a vehicle we would have left and went elsewhere. I doubt the guy at the front desk even attempted to call anywhere to help us out. We were there for my Mom's funeral, you would think they would have had some sympathy but no. Rooms were clean enough and beds were comfy but I would not recommend booking with them unless you like poor or non-existent customer service.
- 2/5
When we got to the room there was no air conditioning. Called down to front desk and was told they had no other rooms . Maintenance was great he came to the room and said he would get us another room which he did. The drains in the sink and tub drained so slow that you could not finish your shower as the water was above your ankles. That was gross. Rooms need updating.
- 5/5
.
- 1/5
Bed bugs in one of the beds
- 4/5
Rooms and hotel are very clean. Breakfast is decent and does the job. If you are not familiar with this area be careful wandering around there. The hotel grounds itself are very safe. Annoying to pay for parking but it is what it is. All around 8/10 for hotel experience.
- 4/5
We were very surprised to have such an expensive parking charge. I have never had to pay for parking at a hotel before. Also, your description of the area needs to be revamped. None of the places described as “adjacent “ were even close to walking distance. The only thing close by was the bus terminal. We couldn’t walk anywhere.
- 4/5
The location and proximity to the MVP Arena was very convenient; especially for an out of towner like myself.
- 2/5
Arroved at about 4am. Receptionist was sleeping, when he finaly awoke, it took him about 20 min to check me and my partner in. Oh, and they charge for you parking in their empty lot...wild
- 4/5
Overall our stay was good. Airconditioning was not as strong. Location was great, walking distance to MVP arena
- 2/5
I wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. We at least need a partial refund for the 1st night since we stayed in a smaller room but paid for a suite.
- 5/5
Very polite and professional staff. Shuttle to and from the airport. Breakfest. Clean property and room.
- 5/5
I enjoyed it. Clean and an easy check in. Breakfast was great.
- 2/5
Would not stay at this hotel again due to location. It is right under overpasses and next to the bus station. Did not feel safe walking to dinner and back. Room was extremely hot and didn’t cool off after hours of running the A/C. While the front desk staff did their best to fix the situation (moved us to a different room on a lower floor), I would spend a little more and stay elsewhere next time.
- 2/5
Receptionist was nice tried to assist with our heating issues to both room. Unable to accommodate to new room as other rooms were also hot and a/c not working.
- 4/5
Nice staff. Good for short stays. Good breakfast.
- 3/5
Kids group was out of control. Total lack of courtesy and adult supervision. Loud, unruly, running around. Breakfast only warm scrambled eggs, no sausage or bacon
- 5/5
Room was very clean the staff was very pleasant, I would stay here again
- 1/5
Book two room a/c we’re not working in either room. Temp was 79 degrees in both, the receptionist did try and find cooler room but they were still 74-76 degrees.
- 5/5
I really liked this hotel everything was really nice & comfy. I had one issue & expressed it to the front desk agent & she noted my account. I will definitely be returning.
- 2/5
It served its purpose
- 2/5
The place is located next to the greyhound bus terminal; almost missed driving into the driveway leading to the reception area; badly lit; arrived near sunset and the parking/arrival area made a dystopian impression with “ghostly” travelers standing by, passing by awaiting their lift. Drove twice around the place to see where parking would be safe and closest to reception… decided then to go to the Hyatt where I had stayed twice before which I recommend
- 5/5
I slept well felt secure and the breakfast was awesome and good personnel.
- 5/5
The approach to the hotel could use better signage.
- 4/5
The property itself was conveniently located and had great amenities as advertised. The only issue was the surprisingly loud "party" of guests in the courtyard that went on til at least 23:30 or midnight. Other guests had complained about this as well and it was all a bit odd. We had assumed "quiet hours" were in effect or that the staff had more authority to silence the party. I would stay here again, it was just a weird occurrence.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good.
- 5/5
Clean and close to downtown.
- 3/5
When noise continued after midnight there was zero response from management. Parking lot party continued after midnight disallowing sleep.
- 1/5
Driving up to this property was scary. There is a bus station across the street, the elevators look to be in disrepair, I was charged to park in an unsafe lot, the air conditioning was not functioning properly, there was no ventilation (fan) in the bathroom, the TV did not work, the scent lighting on top of the bed headboard would not shut off and was flickering. When we brought up the issues to the front desk, we were basically dismissed, as if WE should have done more about the issues. Will not recommend or ever return.
- 4/5
$20 parking fee and no guarantee of parking availability. Room was clean but had cigarette smoke smell. Otherwise, the bed and pillows were wonderful. Nice room with fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee machine. Breakfast was good, quite adequate and included with the room.
- 5/5
It was a nice experience, smell nice, friendly staff and breakfast was a bonus
- 3/5
Hotel, charges $20 a day additional for parking besides cost of your room. Air conditioning was poor.
- 3/5
Stay was fine. I was not happy about the charge for parking. This was not made clear at the time of booking
- 5/5
Awesome
- 2/5
We checked in late dropped or bags and went to a concert at MVP arena. Upon returning from the concert we noticed someone had used the bathroom or it hadn't been cleaned. The air conditioning in room 407 didn't work it was 74 in the room all night. The hotel was sold out so there was no changing rooms. Upon check out we told the receptionist about our stay and she stated the manager would call us and offer us a refund. This never happened the manager never called. Disappointed
- 1/5
YOU LOST MY RESERVATION! I NEVER STAYED WITH YOU.
- 4/5
Hotel was sold out; therefore so was the parking. Had to park across the street for a larger fee. Air conditioning was very poor; dropped two degrees from 76-74 overnight. Bed was too soft. Breakfast was average; nothing special
- 3/5
Air conditioner didn’t work. Service person came readily to fix it, but fix didn’t work. Solution was a fan. It was hot. All. Night.
- 5/5
Nice clean place and friendly staff
- 4/5
Property was very clean
- 4/5
Proximity to my job.
- 3/5
We stayed for one night. Price was the reason I chose this property but I probably should have done a little more research on the area since we planned on walking to the music venue we had tickets for. The neighborhood is run down, right next to 787 and a little noisy. Almost missed where it was because it didn’t look like a hotel at first glance. Positives: The staff was very pleasant and helpful with check in. Lobby was clean and well lit. Room itself was standard, clean, typical hotel furniture and the bed was comfortable. Negatives: were that as soon as we entered the elevator it smelled like someone had been smoking marijuana in it all day. The smell continued as we were walking to our room and seemed to permeate the entire floor. It was a little better in the room but it could have been because we were just used to it at that point. Definitely wasn’t great. Also the walls are thin, so consider that if you have difficulty sleeping with noises in the hallway, surrounding rooms and nearby highway. It was what was expected overall for the price and location.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay!
- 5/5
I would stay again. Clean, staff was polite, room clean, and convenient to where I needed to be.
- 5/5
Great stay, beautiful hotel and close to everything. I would stay there again.
- 4/5
Room was spacious and clean. Walkable to The Egg.
- 4/5
The hotel was overall clean, comfortable, and met expectations in terms of service and amenities. However, the breakfast was underwhelming. It felt very basic, with limited options and little flavor. Considering the quality of the rest of the stay, the breakfast experience was disappointing. A more thoughtful and flavorful breakfast offering would significantly improve the overall value for guests
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. 6 min walk to the MVP Arena
- 5/5
Near the attractions.
- 5/5
Quiet, nice breakfast options.
- 5/5
Even though the hotel is going through renovations, it was fine. My room was beautiful and clean and the king bed was super comfortable! Front desk personnel were very accommodating and kind.
- 4/5
The breakfast has few options, and the place is really convenient downtown. Just hoping the parking has no fee. But overall, great staff and clean place.
- 3/5
Paying for parking
- 5/5
i enjoy my stay, good location, close to federal court
- 2/5
Our room did not have AC, it was blowing but nothing coming out and it was 80 degrees this day!!! The bathroom sink and toilet were not cleaned properly, hair on toilet seat, black stuff come from under sink.
- 4/5
The free breakfast was very nice and the staff was very helpful too :)
- 5/5
great place to stay
- 3/5
Behind the hotel is Greyhound
- 4/5
The area didn't look very nice. The parking area was very tight and was surrounded by a fence which made me think that it was not a very safe place.
- 3/5
Hotel is not well marked, and a bit difficult to find.
- 5/5
Akmed the manager was so accommodating and kind I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for an affordable option in the Albany area. What’s great as well is the MVP center is a 3 minute walk from the hotel.
- 5/5
It was very nice for the price. We went for a concert and was able to walk to the arena.
- 4/5
Within walking distance to the venue. Staff very nice.
- 4/5
Property was well kept and staff was very helpful and courteous. Bathroom faucet and toilet seat were not properly screwed on. The surrounding area near the hotel had some abandoned properties.
- 1/5
Ac was broken hot and smelled
- 1/5
A/C did not work. Complained 5 times until transferred to new room after 1 night. Limited parking. Parking is not free. Parking fee was waived only because A/C was not working.
- 2/5
I am not expecting a gourmet breakfast but other than bagels and a couple oranges around 8:30 there was nothing. Our “suite” was a joke and we had to pay $20 to park but there were no parking f spots available…
- 5/5
The rooms were very clean and staff very friendly and helpful.
- 1/5
Clerk was inattentive at check in, no hot water in the building, no attempt to offer anything in. Return. Smoking in rooms on either side and nothing done when the front desk was notified.
- 5/5
Nice property. Area around the hotel was sketchy but otherwise a good stay!

Did not like shower head and lighting in bathroom..overall, it was pleasant, good free breakfast and staff was kind and knowledgeable about local restaurants

Nice place, worked out great for walking to MVP Arena for a concert. Wish Expedia would have said you have to pay for parking but that’s not a big deal. Friendly staff, breakfast was pretty good, nothing too crazy. My wife and I said we will come back here for any future trips to Albany.

Nice place, with comfortable beds. The location is sketchy, but overall a decent stay. I wish they offered either bacon or sausage with breakfast.

Rather noisy because of the traffic and highway near the river

The check in process is not that great. Was charged multiple holds on my credit card with little to no answer as to why.

Breakfast was decent. The lady cleaning up the area was really nice. The front desk was very helpful. Parking was convenient but unclear why they are charging $10 per day. Beds and towels were clean, but a couple extra towels would have been nice.

Great hotel. I sure of why there is a parking fee as there is nothing nearby. We are inner city people. Area was a bit sketchy to the right when exiting the hotel. Going left was much better. Service was great. Front desk was great. Rooms were clean. Breakfast could use an upgrade

When we first arrived to our room there was a puddle outside of the bathroom. They sent someone to fix it right away and then gave us a new room.

Very clean and comfortable. Request for extra pillows was honored. Parking lot is tight and we had to park next to the dumpster but we weren’t towed so it worked out

The hvac controller in the room didn’t work the window wasn’t able to close completely so I could hear the highway all night the tv service didn’t have espn

Less essential but good to know, breakfast doesn't have any meat.

Very nice room for the money. The heating system was acquainted in elevator. Service was excellent. A little difficult to find given his location. We would stay there again.

I got in late (11p) after driving 2hrs because my daughter was at Albany Med in the ER. Front desk was nice and got me checked in fast. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Ice machine on 4th floor didn’t work. Hotel seemed old. Not disappointed cause I just needed sleep and that’s what I got.
