The price was great and the staff was extremely polite and more than helpful. I appreciate them very much ? The room was a bit outdated the ceiling looked like it needed to be updated for sure. The bathtub was not very clean and the shower had a clog, the water would rise up as we bathed. Took a very long time for water to drain out.

Don’t book with them, it isn’t safe and it isn’t worth it. My vehicle car window was broken, the lady in the office was very Rude, their cameras didn’t cover the area right in front of my room and they weren’t helpful at all.

The staff is rude and unprofessional (The Indian lady) the front area where she was located smelled like weed. Had someone to break into my vehicle she acted as if she could care less. Housekeeping don’t clean the rooms and won’t leave towels in the rooms, you have to ask for them. Asked to be moved and she refused, please do not patronize this business.

At first everything was okay. They were unprofessional...

The attendant was friendly. She did not comment on anything. Old dirty furniture, bed sheets, bathtub cigarette burners. The room was musty and smelly. I asked for another room. It was a little better, but it was also smelly and had old furniture and cigarette Burns.

NOTHING!!! DO NOT GO HERE! DO NOT GO HERE! DO NOT GO HERE unless you're there for some shady "business". I will also be contacting BOOKING.COM for FALSE advertisement & fraud. This was entirely bait & switch, theft by deception at it's best! There was so much foolishness, disGUStivating sites & mass grunge! I have no words! See the pics below. We pulled up & thought it was abandoned & condemned! And once we went in, we totally knew then, it SHOULD be condemned! My husband asked the lady was it being torn down? So many health & safety violations, we should have know when we saw the cats & rats hanging out on the side watching all the "suckers" go in! Not even playing, cats were all congregated in the lot sharing the trash from the dumpster that seems to never have been dumped! I really have no words except: filthy, dirty, stinky, rusty, pissy, mildewed, dusty, raggedy, etc. It was cleaner OUTSIDE than it was inside! We were about to sleep in our car cause all the other hotels were booked for the the Albany State University graduation, which is why we were there. I almost had an anxiety attack when we walked in & I turned on the light switch. After seeing all the filth & that nasty, pissy, bug-infested bed, I realized all kinds of diseases & viruses just HAD to be living there, I realized I had touched the door & the light switch with my bare hand. I almost threw up & my husband had to escort me back to the car, rubbing my back & holding my hair. This lady had the NERVE to try to give us another room. I wanted to say, "Look here, B! I don't know how YOU live, but I wouldn't let my worst enemy stay in this roach motel!" But I simply recorded myself showing her all the filth & disGUSTivation in that dump & asked for a FULL refund IMMEDIATELY! The rest of my footage are long videos that would not load but hopefully you'll get the point! Please be safe out here, folks!

The bed was comfortable and the whirlpool in the room was great. 1. The grounds around the whole building are not maintained. Trash everywhere. Appearance seems to be irrelevant. 2. It was a no smoking room, according to the small sign on the door, with an ash tray by the bed and burns on both the whirlpool and the tub. 3. As soon as I got out of my car, after a 4 hr drive and 8 hr shift, someone on the 2nd floor tried to sell me soap for the whirlpool. 4. Room had a very large cockroach. 5. The door was so warped, no problems for bugs getting in. 6. One of the older door locking mechanisms is cracked and about to fall off. Newer one worked fine. 7. The pictures of the outside of the building and property on booking.com, look nothing like what I saw. 7. I do not recommend this hotel. Last minute work changes left me no choice but to choose a place rated @ 6.5.

The room was very clean

Room was clean, but the smell hit you in the face as soon as you opened the door. I walked over to the dollar general to get freebies. Was greeted by the security guard. With prison bars over the windows. After 2 sprays of freebies it was fine. The sheets and beds were clean but the walls need to bed cleaned. Over all for the price it was comfortable. 3 out of 10

Sewage was leaking out of the ceiling in the first room they gave us and we was going to try a refund and go to another place but they wouldn’t refund us so they switched us rooms and none of the lights worked in the room and all of the texture on the dry wall was falling off. It was a very uncomfortable experience

The hotel was not in the location that I wanted. I was looking for a hotel in Tifton and I was showed this hotel in Albany 40 miles away.

Was worried when I pulled in the building was very run down the pool had been drained and the office area had no ac. Once we got checked in to our room I was pleasantly surprised. I booked a double room and ended up with a single king but it was okay. The room was clean linens fresh and no bugs in sight.

I've enjoyed my time at Relax Inn. The staff were always nice and accommodating. I felt the room was clean, comfortable and quiet which is important as a night shift ER nurse who sleeps during the day. There are plenty of restaurants nearby.

I come in to Albany for work and it has been nice being able to have a quiet, affordable and clean place to stay. The staff have always been really nice and accommodating as I work at night and really appreciate being able to get in to a room as soon as possible to get a few more hours of sleep after driving in to town. I have stayed here quite a few times already for my job. The quality of the room for the price is difficult to beat. The bed is comfortable and clean with noticeably clean linen. I've seen rooms in other places with obvious signs that the beds were not freshly made. The shower has a good amount of water pressure which isn't always true in many places. The staff has always been nice and flexible.

Cheap hotel so cant expect much, but its in pretty bad shape. And i booked a non smoking room but got a room that reeked of cigarettes and had an ash tray in it so that pissed me off.

Staff were very courteous, room in great shape, nice and quiet location. Mr. Patel runs a tight ship. Ask to see his phone toss to a staff member on the upstairs balcony.

The refrigerator was rusted,the heater DID NOT work it was below 40 degree...I had to use both sheets from both beds because it’s was soooooo cold. This hotel needs to be closed. I could’ve stayed on the streets if I wanted to be cold.

I have stayed here several times over the last 5 years and never had a problem. The property is showing its age and could use a facelift. But still a bargain price and nice rooms.

The room was nasty pee stains on the sheets food under the vanity other peoples hair on the towels your feet stuck to the floors as if they haven’t been cleaned the pillows were very used and flat hotels.com gave it a good star rating but once we checked in and looked at there website they had a one star rating I do not recommend staying at Relax inn ever

We left after walking into the building. We didn't even stay. Took one look at it and left. Mold on the walls, doors that half lock, Broken shower. Smelly rooms

Will not stay here again. We were hoping the door didnt have blood on it. The walls were just as filthy.

Relax Inn is great for short stays 1-2 days they don't serve Breakfast. The Owner is always available. The Housekeeping Staff Courteous.

Location was okay because it is close to restaurants. The room had roaches crawling everywhere.

IT WAS GOOD JUST NEEDS TO GET BETTER BEDS. OVER ALL EVERYTHING WAS GOOD CLOSE TO SHOPPING AREA'S.

I can't believe it costs $50 to stay in a place like this. It didn't feel clean, I felt unsafe and the check was so impersonal.

Good place to stop in for a night or two. It is a fairly clean place but could use updating. The beds were all right and the A/C was nice and cool. There is no blow dryer or iron in the room however. Cleaning staff was pleasent and helpful. Check in was also pretty easy. Location is on a main road and close to a Walmart and several fast food locations. Basic room but good for the price saavy traveler. We had to evacuate our home due to Hurricane Dorian and this was fine for our needs as a temporary shelter location.
